Crazy things with amule

until now amule ran fine (that means good connection to servers).
until an complete upgrade of my system:
- first i took very long (30 secs) to connect to a server wich happend in 3 seconds before
- if i try to download the server-met-file i get an "could not open file /home/..." error
- the arrows upon the globe are yellow or orange - not green (wich means i get a low id) and i get very few resources to download (my firewall in pppoe was "standalone-machine" all the time)
- the amule sign in the tray is now yellow rather than brown
any ideas?

Are you sure this problem is related to an upgrade? I think it might be someting else ....
Those anti-piracy b*stards took the Razorback server offfline. Incidently, the server.met file which is hosted on gruk.org was also on the Razorback servers. Because Razorback normally hosted over a MILLION users on the edonkey network, the other servers are overloaded and its just a big mess. Crazy thing with sound!

I got this problem since yesterday, i hearing sounds when i call, use 3G or EDGE, or send messages, this sound is coming from bottom speaker, it is like sound which comming when you use phone near TV or Computer. Please HELP!

I checked all the settings but can find no problem. Also I have no problem with other audio files. Everything I play in Final Cut or Soundtrack pro works fine. (IN Soundtrack also this .wav file works fine) No sound ahead of the waves. So settings should be OK. Just this file I received from the sound studio where they corrected my sound. I have a feeling that the async becomes worse towards the end. The problem might be the studio does not work with Apple, but the .wav file has Aud Rate 48 Khz and Data rate 281,2 K/sec. with 24 bit Integer. I set the Sequence Preset to HDV 1080p25, but no difference. Should I select something specific in Audio/Video Settings? I work in Holland and our tv standards are different but not in HD to my knowledge.

I've searched and browsed for the last 2 or 3 hours to find a solution to this problem and I've seen that many others are having the same problem and no solution for it.
What's the problem?
I'm using the standard Mail program on a Macbook Pro under OS X Mavericks and no matter how I attach a file in an eMail it will ALWAYS come as "inline" or "embedded" to the recipient. Now this bothers me **** of a lot, because the mails simply look riddiculous. I would really like to attach my .jpeg and .pdf files as ATTACHMENTS and not as pictures which then by some can't even be saved or downloaded.
What "solutions" have I tried?
So this problem dates back to 2008 / 2009 and I'm not the only one having this issue. Apparently there are some solutions.
Here are the ones that I tried but didn't work:
setting composed mails to "plain text" rather than "rich text" - failed
clicking the embedded file and activating "view as icon" - failed
the thing with the terminal command - failed
attachments always on end of document - failed
Attachment Tamer seems to work, but causes some crashes and I'm not really happy with a third party program whose development seems to have stopped since a pre-realease build.
Now I would really, really appreciate any more ideas to solve this problem.. it is literally driving me crazy .

It seems hard to control how the recipient's email program will process the attachment. I always put my attachments at the end of the message and they stay there as far as I know, so it is not clear what causes this problem for those that experience it.
One workaround: zip the attachment(s) and send the zipped file. You "zip it" by selecting the file(s) control-clicking and selecting "compress". Of course, now the recipient has to have the "unzipping" ability, which may or may not be a problem.

Editing in aperture is doing crazy things. I've read that it is memory leaks. Whats the cure?

Aperture is doing crazy things while editing like leaving spots on faces when using skin smoothing tool among other things. Closing and reopening fixes it but how annoying. I've read that it is caused from memory leaks. What do I do to fix this?

What is your Aperture version?
And your MacOS X version?
With Aperture 3 make sure you have the latest versions, Aperture 3.5.1 and OS 10.9.3.
The memory leaks you are referring to occurred with MacOS 10.9.1 and onscreen proofing enabled.
If yor versions are current, check your plug-ins for compatibility.

Crazy thing: No dialtone from a SPA 3102 inside the same network.

Hi folks: We have a couple of SPA-3102 connected to two POTS Bellsouth lines. Both 3102 are registering fine with our SIP server and also register the phone line.
The crazy thing is this: If we try to get dialtone calling from an IP phone (SPA922) LOCATED IN THE SAME LOCAL NETWORK (I.E: In the office) to the 3102 number, we get no dialtone.
If i try co call the same 3102 from a softphone (x-lite) also in the office, we still get no dialtone.
But if i try to call the spa from other network than the office, (I.e: My home), i´m getting the dialtone!!! I tried it with both the 922 IP Phone and the x-lite softphone and works fine.
Also, we tried to call the 3102 from other IP phone in our office in Mexico, and also works fine.
Our network topology in the office: Motorola´s Netopia 3347-02 with Bellsouth xDSL internet service. Two Linksys EZXS16W swithes, and a mix of laptops, PCs, servers, IPPhones (SPA922 and 942) and printers connected to these switches
Any idea ??

If the in-office X-Lite is accessing the SPA-3102 on its private IP, try the public IP, or vice-versa.
I'm presuming that the SPA-3102 has a static private address, the Netopia is forwarding some UDP ports to the 3102, and that you are accessing the 3102 directly (not through a server such as Asterisk). In this case, access from the LAN via the public IP may fail, because many routers don't handle 'hairpinning' correctly. Access via the private IP may fail, because the client is being confused by the NAT mapping being applied by the 3102. You can use Wireshark on the machine running X-Lite to see what's happening in each case.
If your situation is other than the above, please provide the details: Accessed via server? If so, is server on LAN or outside? What software? Do you have administrative control over it? Does your router have a SIP ALG? Is it being used in this path? What port forwarding or other special setup on router? What NAT mapping parameters on SPA-3102? What have you seen with Wireshark? What remedial actions have you tried, with what results? Do you have multiple static public IPs? If so, is there a spare one?

There are Craigslist apps that are nice, but trying using copy paste. Go to your photos, select the photo. Hold down your finger on it to copy. Then in the body of the post, hold down your finger and select paste.

When trying to connect to Airplay speakers I get error message "The network connection timed out" although some sort of connection is made as the speaker is turned on. Same thing with Apple TV. Is the distance from my speaker/ TV the problem?

Don't know if that would be a failing hard drive, but it may be that you are out of available space. How much hard drive space do you have available? Please highlight the Macintosh HD icon and then press Command and I for a get info window. Once open, please copy and post the following:
Capacity:
Used:
Available:
Mac OS requires a minimum of 10 - 15% of total hard drive space available and empty at all times in order to operate properly.

Strange things with keyboard

strange things with keyboard happens on my macbook - after cleaning keyboard (rag with spirit) I start mac and get sticky key (continuously type one letter and beeping on speaker). I shutdown mac, remove key and clean space under it... it helps - but I found other strange bug:
pressing left shift - gives me capital letter "O"
letter "O" - always capitalized
| symbol always comes with return button
now I use external keyboard - all good on it... but macbook keyboard still wont work properly
what can it be? how fix it?

thanks for your reply, and you might be right about using USB v2.0. The PS/2-USB adapters I am using are v.1.0 so may be incompatible, even though this technology is supposed to be backward-compatable.
Since this problem reared its ugly head, I have disabled the Toshiba applications and monitored the situation - OK so far, but I will keep an eye on it.

Does anyone have an answer yet to this time out thing with the Itunes 9????

What time out thing with iTunes 9? You'll get better answers if you give as much detail as possible when asking a question, including any error messages you've received and any trouble shooting steps you've already taken. From your question, it's not at all clear what your problem is.
