Create an ABAP Calculator

how can i create a calculator with reports, which will have 4 radio buttons namely addition,sub,multiplication and division.if the user clicks on any one of the radio button then a screen will come which will ask the user for the two numbers and if the user has selected the addition radio button then addition is done n if the user has selected subtraction then subtraction is done....
if it is possible with abap then how can i do this...
plzz help me work out the logic.

You cannot just replace AND with OR in an ABAP QUERY. ABAP QUERY is a self generated SAP code. You'll just declare the tables, input parameters and output fields to be displayed and it will create a SAP standard code. If you'll try to change the code and replace the AND with OR in the SAP standard code, the system will require you to enter access key/object key for that particular query.

Like what I have said, this is a standard SAP code so we can't do your suggestion.
I have already tried to insert a code in the ABAP query (there's a part there wherein you can have extra code) but that didn't work. Can anybody help me on this.

Creating a rate calculator [was: how do i create this?]

I want to create a rate calculator on a website with 2 input fields: calling from and calling to. Here is what i've got:
CALLING FROM table:
COUNTRY     $/MIN
Africa            0.10
Europe          0.20
Asia              0.30
CALLING TO table:
COUNTRY     $/MIN
Africa           0.20
Europe         0.30
Asia             0.50
USA             0.10
Basically to get the rate $/min the CALLING FROM selected country and the CALLING TO selected country will be added together i.e calling from africa to USA would be $0.20/min (0.10 + 0.10).
- How do i create the database for this? (in access)
- How do i then create the rate calculator in a webpage? (asp/php)???

Create a database table with 3 columns
Country
ToRate
FromRate
Populate these values as appropriate.
Create two drop down menus on your page; FromRate and ToRate. Populate these with the values (Display value and rate) from the table.
Then, you could either:
1) Submit the form to a server side script that adds and displays the values
2) Use Javascript to add and display the values

case 1: for WDP, you can create the web service model via "Import Adaptive Web Service" or "Import Web Service Model (deprecated)" by supplying wsdl URL.

Using Tables created in ABAP DDIC with Java DDIC in NW04s?

Hi all!
Could anybody tell me what the functionality "DDIC Preferences", where you can enter a R/3-System with user & password, is being used for?
I couldn' t find any docs on that, but in ABAP Dictionary I found a checkbox "Exclusive Use For Java" in SE11.
Is there a possibility to create db-tables in ABAP and use them in Java in this way. And - if so - how exactly does it work?

You can import the dictionary data type that you create in Abap Dictioanry SE11 using the adaptive RFC model in a webdynpro application in NW04S.
You can specify the model name,package,specify default logical names,provide the R/3 system logon information and the function modules for importing the data.
Once this is done,the R/3 data types get imported into the logical dictionary which is visible in your application nodes.

i create a abap server proxy ,i use the t_code "sproxy" to generate the proxy, and then write the abap code to implemente the method; then i use the T-code (soamanager) to define the endpoint, but when i click the " Open WSDL document for selected binding" to get the WSDL file ; some error occur,the error is follow:

How to create a abap proxy in sproxy netweaver 7.01

sproxy of nw 7.01 is completely different from previous version.For example in prev. versions there is message interface (inbound) (outbound) ...
but in 7.01 , i cannot find how to create an abap proxy class , there is only display proxy in context menu in all segments.(like service interface)
how can i create proxy ?

Expand the Service Interfaces node.
Select the outbound service interface.
Open the context menu and choose Create.
but there is no outbound service interface under service interface node

Create new abap program

my usual practice in creating new abap program is in se80 then type the desired program name then the sap will display that the program name is not existing and will ask if i want to create it.
however in my new company when i do the above step it just display that the program is not existing and no question if i will create this. in line with this i would like to ask how would i create new abap program?

Do you have the relevant authorisations? Maybe you donot have authorisation to create new objects? Check your profiles via SU01. Personally I always ask for SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW in the Development system.

Problem creating new ABAP Technical System in SLD

I newly installed a ECC 5 IDES system (ABAP + JAVA) on my computer for ABAP and Webdynpro learning.
I got problem when I try to create new ABAP Technical System in SLD.
I put my steps of installation here so you know my full story.
1. Install Central Instance (Non-unicode);
2. Install Database Instance (Non-unicode);
3. Install Java add-in on ABAP;
4. Configure the HTTP connection parameters in J2EE Engine Visual Administrator
All of the above steps are successful.
Now my Webdynpro application need to access a Function Module, so I want to create a JCo connection in Webdynpro Content Administrator, but both application server and message server are not available, so I can't create any connection.
I go back to SLD to register ABAP Technical System step by step below:
1.      Choose Home ® Technical Systems.
2.      Choose New Technical System.
3.      Select the AS ABAP radio button.
4.      Choose Next.
5.      Enter system details (Installation number, host name).
6.      Choose Next.
7.      Enter message server and central application server details.
8.      Choose Next.
9.      Choose Next.
10.    Add New Client 800, leave logical name blank, click Add.
11.    Choose Next.
12.    Here the system says 'No product available', the whole effort make no sense.
I tried every possible settings, but at step 12 it keeps telling me 'No product available'.
This is the problem I want to fix.
Can anyone help me?

you can try infoset query:
STEP - A:
1. Go to T Code RSQ02 and give the InfoSet name & select CREATE.
2. Provide the Name(Description) and Data Source i.e. for eg here i take "DIRECT READ OF TABLE" = /BIC/AODS100. Then CONTINUE.
3. Select what to Include in the 3 options available with the POPUP, here "INCLUDE ALL TABLE FIELDS". Then Check the fields and click GENERATE(one RED and WHITE round icon).
4. Now provide the PACKAGE for the INFOSET. Come Back(F3).
STEP - B: optional(If u want to create a new user group)
1. Select ENVIRONMENT -> USER GROUPS. Provide the User Group name and CREATE.
2. Provide Description and SAVE.
3. Provide PACKAGE and SAVE. Come Back (F3) to the Initial Screen.
4. Click Role/User Group Assignment. Select Newly Created User Group or an existing one. Then SAVE (CTRL + S). F3.
STEP - C:
1. Select ENVIRONMENT -> Queries. Provide the query name and CREATE.
2. Select the INFOSET u have created and assigned the user group.
3. Provide the Title and Select BASIC LIST. There you have to select (check) the fields you want to display, SAVE and then TEST. It will ask for Variant, just CONTINUE.

Error no. SPRX084 when create a ABAP proxy class

I create a Web Services on Axis and Tomcat machine, it's in document/literal Style format.
When I try to import WSDL to create an ABAP proxy class, Proxy class generator, returm me an error number SPRX084 having said me that the message, in part TAG on element Attribute, uses a wrong or inexistent element.
I've the same case from "http://www.thomas-bayer.com/axis2/services/BLZService?wsdl".
There's a solution?

Need to create an ABAP query on 2 tables BSIK and BSAK

I need to create an ABAP query which has the fields document no, doc date, amount in doc currency and some other fields from 2 tables BSIK and BSAK. Is it possible to write a single abap query to fetch the data from both the tables.
The selection screen fields are doc number, date and doc type.
I need to display invoices for open items and cleared items together.
