Create and Approve Absence using BAPI_ABSENCE_CREATE/APPROVE

Have any one ever used BAPI_ABSENCE_CREATE and BAPI_ABSENCE_APPROVE for creating and approving absence?
Please help me with test data that can be used on to the BAPI.

I was able to create an absence using BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE, BAPI_ABSENCE_CREATE/REQUEST in a sequence. But not able to approve the same using BAPI_ABSENCE_APPROVE.
Approve BAPI has the following input fields(input data that I am passing):
1. EMPLOYEENUMBER - Emp Number
2. SUBTYPE - 0200
3. OBJECTID - 01 "not sure if I am using correct data here"
4. LOCKINDICATOR - X
5. VALIDITYBEGIN - Start date
6. VALIDITYEND - End Date
7. RECORDNUMBER - 000
8. NOCOMMIT - blank
It returns the following error " No data stored for 2001 in the selected period".
In a critical situation please help

There is just one thing missing in my armour as a graphic designer – creating and sending EDMs.
Given the success of creating websites using Adobe Muse, an EDM functionality would be a fantastic addition to MUSE and Business Catalyst (BC). Imagine this:
1. I open Adobe Muse.
2. I select "New EDM" (instead of "New Site").
3. I design and build my EDM to spec.
4. I test my EDM using 'Preview' or a single send to myself.
5. I publish my EDM to Business Catalyst.
6. In BC, I review my EDM and add 'FROM NAME', 'FROM EMAIL ADDRESS' and 'SUBJECT'.
7. I import my database.
8. I hit SEND!
After my EDM has gone out, I can review a report in BC - just like any report for a website.
As a designer that does not know code but can build a website using MUSE - creating an EDM is the one thing I can't personally offer. Using a digital supplier can be expensive and website like Mail Chimp aren't professional enough.
To the Adobe Muse team, please – for the love of humanity – consider this as viable addition to MUSE. You will save a lot of heart ache and win a lot of hearts.

Create and Approve absence using BAPI's

Hello Experts,
I got to know that BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEE, BAPI_ABSENCE_CREATE & BAPI_ABSENCE_APPROVE. has to called in a sequence (test sequence) for creating and approving absence.
But when I test them I am getting the following error: "Attendance/absence type 0148 requires minimum of 1 attendance/absence days " for absence type 0148, when I try to use 425 it says fill in all required fields.

Did you check that the record in PA2001 to ensure it was really in the database?
Then get the recordnumber and objectid from PA2001 for the pernr ....
Than should resolve your issue.

Creating and deleting users using AM Client SDK

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to create and/or delete users from Access Manager from a standalone application using the AM Client SDK? From what I have read this can be done using the AMStoreConnection class but I can't find any examples on how to use this class to add and delete users. The only examples I have found is how to retrieve data from AM. I need to keep AM and the underlying directory server in sync with another identity datastore so I need to build a process in Java to do this. Any help is appreciated.

Lets assume we have a HR system and the user has got deleted in the system, the HR system drop a CSV file to a specified location with the details of the user to be deleted from the IDM system . Now the CSV GTC connector would need to read the record and delete the user .
This can be done , I have done this using API calls , but i assume that there would be someway of doing this using the OOB GTC .I think we need to set the correct value for the status field to do this ..
I am not sure what status to set.

HCM Process and Forms - Create and End record using the same form scenario

Hi All,
I have the following requirement while using HCM Processes and Forms: Using one form/scenario I need to both create a record or be able to end a record for infotype 841. When looking at the back-end service SAP_PA I have operations Create, Change, Change without delimiting and Delete. My requirement would be to do both a create and a delete I guess, but these two can't be selected at the same time while configuring the form scenario.
I was thinking about doing somethign with the startdate and enddate instead of using the effective date. But I have no clue how to do that.
How would this be possible?

You are correct in assuming that you cannot have a create and delete on the same infotype. The config will not allow it. Instead, configure the create and then do the delete via a call to you own method in the workflow or via the advanced generic service

Code to Create and Populate Lookup using Java API

Hi All,
I wish to write a java code to first create a lookup in OIM and then populate with some custom values.
For creating Lookup, I used the following function and it worked:
tcLookupOperationsIntf useLookup=(tcLookupOperationsIntf)factory.getUtility
("Thor.API.Operations.tcLookupOperationsIntf");
useLookup.addLookupCode("Lookup.Custom");
However, If I try using the following function to populate this lookup:
useLookup.addLookupValue("value1","value2",value3",value4");
I got this error:
Thor.API.Exception.tcInvalidLookupException

You are using the correct API
("value1","value2",value3",value4");
The values which you are providing are wrong.
TRY THIS
addLookupValue("Lokkup.Test", codeValue,decodevalues, "en", "US")
Lookup.Test should be there.

Numbers has a Custom Template function. Create a document that you would like to reuse, and then File > Save as Template...
From then on, when you want to start at that point with a new document you do a File > New... and navigate to the My Templates area at the bottom of the Template Chooser where you can click on the one you created.
If you ever want to modify that template, just do it and then File > Save as Template... again, using the identical file name.

Can I create and print PDF using a QB64 program I am writing?

I am obviously not a programmer, but I am writing a program in QB64 for my own use at home. Right now the program generates a text file. Is there a way to have to program generate a PDF file without going to a second program. I currently have to open Wordperfect and generate the PDF report. Thank you for any assistance.

Somebody has created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy.How can I resolve this?

When I tried to create and apple id using my gmail account i found that somebody has already created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy. Now the problem is that the other guy also can reset my password and access my account.
I contacted apple customer care and they are not ready to help me saying that I need to give information about the last device I logged in using this id. How can I give it when I did not create it?:) Also they are saying this account has been verified and that could happen only if someone has hacked my gmail account and verified the id using the link sent by apple.
Later I did some experiments and found that this is a security flaw from apple. Somebody has created the id and never used it(I tried to loggin to icloud and it was saying this account was not used it any apple device). The account became verified when I reset the password.(This is a bug, account should be verified only when we click on the verification link sent by apple).
The other mistake apple did is that they allotted my gmail account to someone before it's verified eventhough it cannot be used unless verified. Actually apple should allot the account id only after verifying the email address.
Apple customer care is not ready to help and I am tired of fighting with them. Can any of you guys suggest any means of getting back my gmail id to use it as apple id?

I don't think you're going to be able to. I would guess the other person used your address by accident, and when he found he couldn't access the account (because you'd changed the password) he abandoned it. Your GMail address is now locked to that account and even if it was changed you can't use it to create another.
You already have an Apple ID, which you use to log in here; you can use that to create an iCloud account if that's what you are trying to do. If you want to create a different Apple ID just get another free address such as a Yahoo one.

AuC created and posting entries throu KO88 but i dont see any depreciation

An AuC has been created and also capitalized using t-code KO88 but i dont see any depreciation for a long time.

Internal order settlement :- In standard SAP ,generally we are settle P&L expenses to CWIP ( Asset under constructions) though internal order system,which same P&L expenses transferred to as balance sheet value under fixed asset group. All AUC assets are having depreciation key 0000 or any other key with 0 %.
Once WIP has been capitalized , business user settle the AUC asset and transfer same values to direct asset.
Process :-
1. Create new asset under required asset class
2. AUC Settlement ... AIAB Transaction code ,where you have to select how much amount need to be transfer to direct assets.
after that ,you have to click on settlement button.

Create and Approve leave's either using BAPI or IDoc

Hello Experts,
My requirment is to create a leave from my JSP in to SAP(Employee Login), then there will be a approval process where in my manger will approve the leave from his JSP(Manager login).
Approach 1: If I use BAPI for this approach what are the BAPI's that I can use? I have found the below BAPI's out of which 1&2's documentation say " Using these APIs can create inconsistencies in time data.Instead, use the corresponding API Methods "ManageDelete," "ManageCreation," and "ManageChange" for the Business Object BUS7007"
