Create AUC (subnumber) when WBS is REL

Hi,
I have a question related to WBS as investment measures. The system creates a AUC when WBS is released but we want that it creates a subnumber where external number is taken from a field of WBS ( several WBS will have the same number in a field). We have seen BADI WBS_FIELDS_FOR_ASSET to pass it external number but we think our requirement is not possible using it. Does anybody can tell me if it is possible getting this requirement?

I dont think we can create sub-assets from PS. I remember a note which talks about this, I dont remember the note number. May be i will try to recollect.

    Hi Vivian,
    menu path: Asset Accounting / Valuation / Determine Depreciation Areas in the Asset Class
    Select there your asset under construction asset class.
    Here you can fill in default values. (when you click on the fields you get more fields)
    When you want to fill in other fields you can use a substitution ( Asset Accounting / Master Data / Define Substitution)
    In our case, i think standard
    The field description (WBS)
    Req cost center (WBS)
    Plant (WBS)
    BA  (WBS)

  • Error in creating AUC

    Hi All,
    I have an issue in creating as AUC ,
    I have tried testing in development system by creating a project and wbs element. In control tab of wbs we need to select the Investment profile (we have maintained the investment profile with asset class 9000), wen we release the wbs AUC is created .
    All the steps mentioned above are working fine in Dev system, when the TR's are transported to Quality syst in the control tab of wbs when I selected the investment profile , I am not able to get the Inv profile wat we have created, If I select the default profiles which has the same Asset class with manage AUC ticked , I am getting the error as
    "Error when processing AUC for wbs,
    Substitution AS01 not found"

    I am getting this error as shown in the attachment. when I have selected the Investment profile with asset class 9000 (for creating automatic AUC) Capital investment measures. when I release it I am getting the following error. I have also attached the number range maintained.

  • Can i change AUC attached to wBS element.

    1) can i change the AUC attached to WBS element ?
    2) user has already posted some entries to WBS but not settled so far. Can i change the AUC now ?
    3) In another WBS user has already settled to AUC the postings made in the firest month. I can change the AUC to that WBS element?

    As some of members also indicated, if you have created the AUC from IM then you cannot replace it with other AUC after deleting the first one. However, you can create another WBSE, create AUC (automatically if with IM). NOw you can JV or transer the amount posted to previous WBSE as credit posting. YOu can JV/tansfer the amount to new WBSE as debit posting.
    When settlement occurs, the previous AUC will get credit posting and will be zeroed, and the new AUC will get debit posting by regular settlement from new WBSE.

  • Line item Settlement and KOB5 for automatically created AUCs to PM orders

    Hello Experts,
    I am trying to set up line item settlement for automatically created AUCs. We would like to use line item settlement because we want to see the costs split up by either percentage or amount when settled to the AUC.  If I can't settle by percentage or amount to the AUC then i'd like to be able to temporarily block some of the costs from settling.  This is for billing not capitalization purposes since all costs will eventually settle to one final asset. The settlement is done using transaction KO88 or KO8G and automatic processing type.  I’ve configured a PM Order type as an investment order and set up the related investment profile and investment asset class.  Some of the things I've determined from my testing:
    Using transaction KOB5, costs can be split up by creating other distribution rules, but only to another object (i.e. another
    asset, order, cost center etc. by using the Preliminary) not to the automatically created AUC linked to the order
    The default settlement rule is account assignment category FXA, percentage rate 100%, settlement type AUC to the AUC
    and therefore cannot be updated/altered when using KOB5 or any other transaction.
    Once the costs are settled to another object other than the AUC, those costs cannot be settled to the final asset. Creating Preliminary
    settlement rules to a receiver IO and changing the period or fiscal year will not “block” costs from settling whether the processing type is automatic, by period, partial capitalization or full settlement.
    I’ve been testing this out in our development client and need verification that this is the way that transaction KOB5 works with line item settlement or did I do something incorrect .

    Thank you for your response.  Assets are not my area so I’m not sure if I missed a transaction or step in the process.   I tested this out by doing the following steps:
    Created AUC Asset class with line item checked
    Assigned PM Order type as non-investment with no investment profile and created order number
    Created a main asset number 
    Created an AUC sub asset number to step 3
    Created settlement rule to sub asset number on order
    Posted costs to order
    Settled from order to AUC with transaction KO88
    Created distribution rules for asset with transaction AIAB
    Settled from sub asset to main asset number with transaction AIBU
    When I settled from the sub to the main asset number in step 9, I found I lost the line item detail.  Is there another configuration setting I need to make to allow me to see the line item detail when I use AIBU?

  • How to trigger a event when WBS gets changed in Cj02

    I have a requirement where I need to send create an idoc and send the idoc to external system when WBS is created or changed.  Currently, I have the following setup:
       - I have created a YBUS2054 as a subtype of BUS2054 using SWO1
       - YBUS2054 has been delegated to BUS2054
       - created an CHANGED event in the YBUS2054. This event is implemented and then released
       - created a type linkage (object type=YBUS2054, event=CHANGED, receiver type null, and receiver function module = zz_create_wbs_idoc) using SWETYPV. This function is supposed to create an idoc when CHANGED event occurs. I just don't know how to trigger the event to occur.
       - all the port, define idoc type, logical system, and etc are setup
       - when I try to create an entry in "Event for Chagne Document" using SWEC with change doc object=PROJ, business object type = YBUS2054, with on change, I get "Key for change doc object PROJ and business object type YBUS2054 are incompatible".
    I tried various configurations, and I was not successfully in creating an event on CHANGED
    can you please advise what I am missing in getting the changed event to trigger?

    Hi,
    If the change doc doesnt exist, check if you can create an event using BSVW.
    Also use the event log to see if there are other sap standard events happening.
    I checked the package belonging to CJ02 to see if there is something useable, but didn't find anything: CN_PSP_OPR
    If there are no sap standard ways to get an event, you'll have to find a badi/enhancement spot and include some coding to start the event using fm SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.

    We are trying to create a campaign as WBS element under a project definition which does not exist in CRM system as Marketing Project.  We looked at the BADI CRM_MKTPL_R3_INT and could see that we can change the XML data in method CHANGE_XML_DATA.  But in ECC  , system is looking for GUID of  the project definition and is not able to replicate the campaign as per the requirement.  Please suggest a way to replicate Campaign as WBS element under a project definition which is not available as Marketing project in CRM but exists in ECC.
    ECC system is looking for Project Definition guid in FM PR_assignments_pre_read.

          Sure...We have a system Landscape in which Non-SAP systems  communicate to SAP system.In our Scenario, the project definition (in our terminology it is called project code) is defined in non-SAP system and it gets replicated to SAP ECC  and then whatever campaign that we create in SAP CRM should be created as WBS element under that project code which was replicated from non-sap system.Reporting will be done based on the project code in other systems.
    For information, We are not replicating Marketing Plans to ECC.

    I have accidentally created another account when using Migration Assistant to a new MBA. I have read that I probably should not have skipped migration in the initial set up and the problem would have been avoided but, alas, here I am. Does anyone know how I can 'migrate' all the files from one of the accounts that has been created to the other, so then I can delete it and have a single user on the computer seeing as I am the only person using it? I have read starting again, if this is the way to go, where is the best place to start 'starting again'?

    Yes definitely should see it but its not coming up (I don't think) when I log out of 2nd user and into the main account. Opening finder in the 2nd account, I can obviously find the public folder because thats where I dropped all the files, but when in the main account, it can't be found. The only public folder that comes up is the folder for that account (main account) and it does not display files I'm looking for. Frustrating....
    EDIT: Have found it through a round-about way but all music and photo and movie etc files have a red stop sign disallowing them from being transferred. Can you guess what the next question will be?

    At the "Requir. Classes" (OVZG) customizing screen, field "Automatic start of make-to-order in background mode" affects the automatic planning. See fields help doc. below.
        If you select this indicator, the system automatically carries out
        single-item, multi-level planning for a sales order if a sales order
        item is either created or changed.
        This function can only be used for make-to-order production.
    So check out the Req. Cl that yr Req. type (req. type is part of a strategy).

  • CS4 Created Text Grainy When Converted to Adobe Acrobat Pro

    This is a beginner's question. In Photoshop CS4 I'm creating what I believe to be relatively high resolution text, 4000 pixels/inch. One of the fonts is not commonly installed on user PCs so I have to rasterize the text. I want the background to be transparent so I apparently have to save as a PNG image. I'm inserting this image into a PowerPoint slide then creating a PDF of this slide using Adobe Pro 9.
    Any suggestions?

    I have disabled the Adobe COM plugin for Word 2007 and used Microsoft's
    built-in Save As PDF functionality, which results in the form data
    disappearing. I have enabled the Adobe COM plugin for Word 2007, and did a
    Save As Adobe PDF resulting in the same problem. I opened Adobe and created
    a PDF from the Word 2007 document, and the same issue occurs.

  • Why does ID create a CSS when option is not selected in export to ePub?

    I am using InDesign 6 to create ePub books. I want to use my own CSS so in the Export to ePub options I am leaving the setting "Include Style definitions" unchecked. I then list my CSS under additional CSS. When I create the ePub and then examine the files included I see that there are 2 CSSs, mine and one created by InDesign. Why does InDesign create a CSS when the "Inlcude Sytle definitions" is left unchecked?

    Because that is the way that CS6 exported EPUB.
    EPUB is a fast moving target and has moved way beyond what CS6 can export. With each update from InDesign CS6 to InDesign CC to InDesign CC 2014, and even to the latest update to CC in October, there have been major changes to how InDesign exports EPUB. It no longer does it that way, and you have much more control over the process in InDesign CC.
    Because InDesign CS6 is never going to change, it's best to work at modifying what they do export, unless you want to upgrade to InDesign CC.

    I need the same file name which is at Sender side and when it reaches to Receiver directory without timestamp.
    for eg., Sender side : Yeswanth.txt
    and also receiver side   :  Yeswanth.txt
    but, here it should overwrite the existing file (because, the sender side file name is always constant) at receiver directory when the job schedules for each time.
    Processing parameters i has given on Receiver side:
    File Construction Mode  :  Create
    put file  : Use Temporary File
    and I enabled the Adapter Specific Message Attributes at Sender side and Receiver side.
    Error getting receiver side at communication channel :
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException:
    Yeswanth.txt: Cannot create a file when that file already exists. : com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550

    Hi Yeswanth
    Then you can try with a "Add Counter". This will create new file each time with the same name but a counter will be added to the file name at the end specifying the number of times it is created.
    You can also the specify the format to create the counter once select this option u can correspondingly fill the Format and step fields.
    Will this be fine.
