Create Folder for FC Studio...

Currently I have all the FC Studio apps in my Dock.
Thats:
Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Live Type, Motion, Compressor <-- all as individual Dock icons. +(Same goes for the Adobe Production Bundle)+
On my PCs I'm using Docks w/ Stacks also. +The difference is;+ on my PCs I'm able to add Stacks that have all of the Adobe Suite apps, Sony Suite apps, Office apps, etc. so that when I click on the Stack it has all the apps and I can then select the one I want. This keeps my dock very organized and condenses what would be 12 apps/icons into 3 folder stacks.
On my MACs I have a folder stack that has the Office Suite... this is how I'd like to set up my other Stacks with apps that belong to a Suite.
Is there a way that I can add a Folder Stack to my Dock that would have all the FC Studio apps in there?

Super simple... now I need to find a way to change the Icon to a more suitable Icon for the Suite(s).

Hi! My laptop was working fine but someone recently installed Malware Bytes to my laptop and supposedly found 4 problems and "fixed" them afterwards Visual Studio Professional 2013 and Chrome stopped launching. When I realized this happened I uninstalled
Malwarebytes but it was too late. Every time I tried launching Visual Studio I would get a message that said something like: "Two or more components could not be found. Please reinstall". I did a "fix" on Visual Studio but this solved nothing
only changed the message, the new message was "The Application Data folder for Visual Studio could not be created" so I uninstalled the program and all the extras I found on my Control Panel. Downloaded Visual Studio Community 2013 I'm trying to
install it but I got the same exact message again. Why is this happening? What does it mean? Before I uninstalled Visual Studio Professional 2013 I looked for ways others solved it but nothing seemed to work. Please help. Thanks!

Hello Danny,
The Malware Bytes may have already modified some files/registry values/environment variable which is used by Visual Studio and may be the setup cannot create it for you again.
Please try the workaround here in this blog:http://tutewall.com/application-data-folder-for-visual-studio-could-not-be-created/ and remember to backup your
registry key before you do any actions to the registry table.

Is it possible to create a new folder for AR for iOS so that you can move already existing folders into it? My folders have become a bit cluttered as I had to create more for specific files, but they should all be filed under another bigger folder. Thanks!

Answer: (Assuming that you are referring to the PDF documents and folders that you access inside Adobe Reader for iOS) Yes, you can create nested folders using the file browser user interface in Adobe Reader for iOS,
In the main screen (showing Documents, Acrobat.com, Camera to PDF, My Account, Help), you can create a new folder.
Tap Documents.
Tap Edit in the upper right corner.
Tap the folder icon with a plus sign in the bottom toolbar.
Enter a new folder name.
You can navigate to an existing folder and repeat the steps above to create nested folders in Reader. You can select multiple files and move them to the newly created nested folder as well. But it's not possible to move a folder containing files to a different folder at once.
See Help > Handbook > Copy, edit, delete, manage for more details.
If you use Acrobat.com as a cloud storage service, you can create nested folders using the web browser interface (https://files.acrobat.com/), organize your files and folders, and access them in Adobe Reader for iOS.

I am setting up a synology nas to be used for my itunes library. The nas is a DS1513+. How do i creat a shared folder on the nas for the transfer of my itunes library from my external drive to the nas? I figure the folder would just be named Itunes. Also when i start my mac mini should the nas mount on the desktop? If so how do i make it do this?

BUG: Search not avail after adding song to playlist (after creating folder for playlists) - iPad app

So this sounds like an unlikely bug, but I can duplicate it again and again.Starting point: Lots of playlists, no folders. I have the latest iOS version on my iPad and the latest Spotify update.Used PC client to create a folder and moved some playlists to that folder.Back on iPad, search for song and then add it to any playlist. (It doesn't matter which playlist, whether it's in a folder or not.)Here's where the problem occurs: After adding a song to a playlist, it is no longer possible to search for other songs. The search function simply fails to respond. I can listen to songs on playlists but can't use the search. If I want to search, I have to restart the app. Annoying!

If you have "Keep..." and "Copy..." unchecked, iTunes will simply reference the existing file, and will not change your file structure, as you correctly note.
I'm fairly sure that some other program is operating on your files. The "Playlists" folder that you mention has nothing to do with iTunes. On my PC, only Windows Media and Roxio use it.

When iTunes rips a CD, it names the files as track number and title, with no option to do differently. And as far as placing the ripped files, they go in Artist/Album, with no option to do differently. As full-featured ripping programs go, iTunes is not even in the race.

i also have a zen x-fi. i think creative centrale can create folder for you when your music which transfers into player have their own folder in PC.
however when you turn on the player, you can't see those folder. the songs can only be recognized by the informations in songs.

Hello I am looking for a good place to get started on creating a folder for a document library using a powershell script. Thanks in advance for any help.

Here is a guide to creating folders and items in a document library for SharePoint Server/Foundation: Creating SharePoint Folders
and Items with PowerShell. You will need to tailor it to your needs as it's a demo for creating 50,000 items.
That's step 1 and contains the bulk of what you would need to do. Here's an example of connecting to a library in SharePoint Online using CSOM: Office
365 - PowerShell Script to Upload Files to a Document Library using CSOM. You won't be uploading files, but the parts where you connect and get a list are what you're interested in.
Now you'll combine bits from both of these scripts:
1. Connect to SPO
2. Get your list (looks like you need to first get the site collection and then the site)
3. Create a folder
I figure it would look something like this (note I haven't tested this at all):

You won't lose anything since all photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone should remain on your computer.
Place all the existing photos that have already been transferred to your iPhone in a named folder or place these photos in multiple named folders as needed. Place the folder of the photos or multiple folders of the photos that you want transferred to your iPhone in the parent folder as already provided and select this parent folder under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. All named folders of photos within this parent folder will be transferred to your iPhone as separate named albums.
To add additional photos later, create a folder for the new photos and place the new folder of photos in the parent folder followed by a sync. To remove a photo from your iPhone, remove the photo from the named folder within the parent folder followed by a sync. To remove an entire album or folder of photos from your iPhone, move the named folder of photos outside of the parent folder followed by a sync.

If you go to Settings > Notes > Default Account you will see "On My iPhone" as the default account and the only choice if you have not enabled syncing Notes in Settings >iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. If you have enabled syncing you can still select "On My iPhone" as the default account. When you are in the Notes app you won't see any accounts listed if you have not enabled syncing because they are all in the On My iPhone account and that is the only place possible. It is not a folder that you create.

Error when creating a bookmark in a new folder - defaults to main folder for that group

When I want to create a new bookmark sub-folder (for example, I have a "Photography" folder and I want to save a URL to a new folder under that category called "Cameras"), I click the "New Folder" button, and it somehow changes the name of main folder ("Photography") to the highlighted "New Folder". However, when I go to my bookmarks afterwards, the "Photography" folder is there and there is a new folder called "New Folder". It seems to be corrupted or something, but I am not sure. Since this doesn't happen with a new profile, I think your best solution is going to be to use a new profile and migrate you data. The article, [[Recovering important data from an old profile]] has instructions for doing this.
An easier way to get this done is to use a new feature coming to Firefox 13. You can get access to it by downloading the Aurora build from here - http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/aurora/
Once you install Aurora, type about:support in the location bar. This will bring up the special troubleshooting information page. In the upper right hand side there is a button to "Reset Firefox". Clicking this will create a new profile for you and migrate over your bookmarks, passwords, history for you automatically. I've used it and works well. After completing that, you can continue to use Aurora if you want or you can uninstall it and go back to the regular version of Firefox.

Can't create an alias for User home folder for a second user

I can't make an alias of a User home folder of a second user. I can successfully make an alias of a home folder of the first user. The computer says the folder is in use and to wait for some activity to complete, or that I don't have enough privileges. There are no activities happening and both accounts are administrator level. Is this a behavior of OS 10.5.6? I created alias for the two users before, but had unrelated problems and wiped the drive, re-installed 10.5.6 and now I can't do it.

Wish it was that simple where i can just change the ID to ACT but unfortunately alot of our users like to hardcode there currentview and changing the scenario dimensions would take a big effort and alot of support work. We had changed one of the dimension members before and we got phone calls asking why the report doesn't work for weeks. Do you know if the NW version of BPC has that capability?
