Create Objects checkbox on Rhinte00 program

Hi All,
Picked up this issue which I think its a SAP Standard issue.
I've created an Org Unit and related Positions to it.
Then hired Employees into Positons using LSMW, so i needed to run Rhinte00 to create the Holder relationship.
When I execute Rhinte00 with the following: Today radiobutton tickect, Create Object(s), Create relationship(s), and Create holder relatshp. only checkboxes checked, Only Position from IT0001 radiobutton ticked and Test check box unchecked.
It does bring objects to create and holder relationships to create, but the only problem I see is that for Objects with Object Name which is long (i.e longer than 25 characters), it cuts the name to 25 characters and assigns it a new Object Abbreviation(i.e. Obect Abbr changes to ObjT/objID).
OTEXT = STEXT
Apparently OTEXT accepts 25 character while STEXT accepts 40. So this means Rhinte00 sees all Object with Object Name longer than 25 characters as different records and it recreates them.

Please note that when I execute Rhinte00 with all the radiobuttons and checkboxes mentioned above excluding Create Object(s), it executes the holder relationship correctly using correct unchanged objects.

OLE Embedded Objects seem to have problems with PDF files. I am not sure if it's OLE or if it's the OLE server (Acrobat/Reader) installed on the machine in this case. Does this file work on another machine with Acrobat/Reader installed.

Im beginner with OO Abap. Please give me a hand with this.
Im using the programming interface REPORT Z_TEST_ST_TEXT_EDITOR for text editor found on /people/igor.barbaric/blog/2005/06/06/the-standard-text-editor-oo-abap-cfw-class which is good and useful for me (highly recommended) but I need to import the text created (t_text) in method constructor in order to send it via e.mail.
Could anybody tell me how to get/import the text created?

ABAP OBJECTS: Dynamic Create object

Hi folks!
I have a problem... I need to create a dynamic type object with:
DATA: my_instance TYPE REF TO class1.
CREATE OBJECT my_instance TYPE (class2).
* where class1 is a superclass of class2.
When I do:
my_instance ?= m_parent.
* where m_parent is an instance of class1
My problem is when I want to access to an attribute of the class2, the compiler says that it cannot find the attribute (this is OK, because the attribute is only in the class2).
My question:
Is there anyway to access to an atribute of second class when is not in the first class? (i don't want to create the attribute as an attribute of the first class).

Hi David,
When you do the debugging, you are dealing with run-time - i.e., the program is now running and you are just interrupting it at each statement to examine the program state. You will reach the point where the object is already created. That is why you can see all those attributes. But when you comiple, the program is not yet running, so the attributes will be unknown because of the dynamic type specification.
I think you will have to redesign the program logic. As i had already said in my earlier post, it is not proper to have the attributes specified statically while the class itself is specified dynamically.
Your situation is somewhat similar to -
DATA ITAB TYPE TABLE OF SPFLI.
PERFORM TEST TABLES ITAB.
FORM TEST TABLES ITAB.
LOOP AT ITAB.
WRITE: / ITAB-CARRID.
ENDLOOP.
ENDFORM.

when I execute a smartform directly in the transaction smartforms.,the result can be seen just no data.
when I execute program to transfer two internal tables from interface with data to the smartforms,and I use tcode st22,
the error is : Data objects in a Unicode program are not convertible.
the error analysis; The statement
"MOVE src TO dst"
requires the operands "dst" and "src" to be comvertible.
the source code that error occurs is :LOOP AT I_SHIP_DETAIL INTO WA_DETAIL .
and I know that the internal table have errors ,I defined the internal table refer to a structure created myself,and I set break-point in the smartforms ,can see the data in the internal table ,so why occurs such errors ,pls help me if you know .thank you in advance.

Create a Checkbox in a Word Document (OLE2)

I want to create a WORD Document with ABAP. I created an OLE2 Object and now I want to generate a Checkbox in the WORD Document. My Syntax is the following:

CREATE OBJECT o_word 'Word.Basic'.
CALL METHOD OF o_word 'FileNew'

Now my Problem is, that the CheckBox doesn't appear and I really don't have any information about what Parameters the Method 'CHECKBOX' (Word.Basic) needs.
Can anyone help me to create a CheckBox in a WORD Document and further where I can get some information about what Parameters the Word.Basic Methods need.

SBO2004A: Runtime Error 429 ActiveX Component can't Create Object

Hello,
We have an Addon developed with VB6 that run without problems with SBO 6.5.
We have upgraded to SBO2004A and I have referenced in the source code to the 2004 UI and DI. I debug mode (from IDE) we don't have problems, but when I try to execute the addon from a client, I get this error message:

I'm using Installshield 10.5 to generate the setup file. It's much more easy and not requiered to install Framework 1.1 in each PC client before to install the Addon.
You have to create and msi project, and write the Installscript to retrieve the install directory from parameter string passed by SAP.
After install you must execute the AddOnInstallAPI.EndInstall to notify SAP:

How to create object through transaction snro

Based on the transaction code, respective function consultant will create number range.
If u want a number series for some other purpose in ur program u can create object in snro as below.
1. Enter a object name and click 'CREATE' button
2. In the next screen give relevant description
3. In 'Number length domain' field u can specify the length of number .. example if u give char10, then it will be a ten digit number series.
4.Enter warning percentage.. the purpose is to throw warning message 10 % before when ur number series about to exhaust.
5. After entering those details --> press save button.
6. Again come to main screen (SNRO initial screen) then click number raneg tab inthe application tool bar.it will take u to next screen.
7. In that click internal change push button
8. IN the resulting screen enter ur number range series,

9. click save button..NOw ur number series is ready for use.

How to create objects in stack

I am working on Weblogic 10 and JDK 1.5. In Java the objects are always created in heap. Can anybody tell me how to create objects in stack?

It is provably impossible to create a truly time predictable application (in any language), so what you're really looking to do is create a program that responds acceptably quickly for an acceptable percentage of the time. For this you can create benchmarks like "responds in 250 milliseconds or less 99.5% of the time".
To this end, you could create a prototype program that creates the objects you wish on the heap, and see if there actually is a problem. Don't fall into the trap of premature optimization.
Even if you do discover that your object creation IS the problem, heap allocation is not the problem. Take a look at this article. It takes ten machine instructions, less than 1 millisecond, to allocate an object.
Your performance problems are most likely in the object initialization (look for long loops or deep recursions), the display (if this is a GUI application), or your network connection (if this is a web application).

Creating object class dynamically

Specific function modules to create objects of type SC, D, CG CE?

Hi Experts,
I need to create objects
SC (Program of study)
D (Event Type)
CG (Module Group)
CE (Assessment)
using function modules. Up to the present, we have beeing using function module
HRIQ_OBJECT_CREATE
as an all purpose FM for all these object types.
However, now, I have the requirement to replace these FM with specific FM for that particular object type. For object type SM, I found
HRIQ_RFC_MODULE_CREATE
Now, I am asking you if there are such FM for the other objects in question as well??
