Create outlook appointments from Apex

Hi all, we have an appointments table in our system that we maintain through an Apex application. Does anyone know if it is possible from Apex (or maybe the backend) so that we create an appointment in our table, we also create an appointment in the relavant Outlook Calendar.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

calendar items are specially formatted mail items. They do not have textual body, only an attachment with extension

HT1296 Apple does not sync my Outlook Saturday appointments, yes it leaves out only the Saturday appointments from Outlook. What to do about this?

When I sync Outlook to my iPhone, my Saturday appointments from Outlook don't appear on my iPhone calender. All other appointments are correct except there are no Saturday appoinments...weird...What to do about this?

Scanpst.exe is a repair program for the Outlook data files. You should be able to find the program in the Microsoft Office folder on the computer. You might have to search for it. After you open that, you navigate to your Outlook data file. That is generally in your Documents folder. After running it, it should tell you if it repaired anything.
Also, in iTunes, you might want to reset the sync history. That is done by opening iTunes, going to Edit, Preferences, Devices, and click on the button.
Since you are not getting sync from phone to Outlook, you may need to create a new calendar in Outlook. If you know how to create a new blank calendar, do that and add a couple of new appointments. Try weekday and weekend. After connecting the phone to the computer, make sure you have it set to sync in iTunes and try a sync. See if it works. If it does, you may need to export your other calendars to a file and then import them back to the new calendar.
You can also try creating a new calendar on the phone and syncing that to see if it shows in Outlook.

There is an option of embedding index for faster search while converting email to a PDF .
However I am not sure that will serve your purpose or not .
I would recommend you to get in touch with Microsoft support as well .
Meanwhile I'll work on it and get back to you in case I get a desired solution .

Creating PDF bookmarks from Outlook 2007

Hi, I am using Outlook 2007 SP1 and Acrobat 8.1.3 Professional and I want to have bookmarks in the PDF that is created by hitting the Create Adobe PDF from Folders button in Outlook. I used to have this feature when I was using Acrobat 7 with Outlook 2003.
I found this previous thread, but the solution given does not help, I still can not create the bookmarks like I could with Acrobat 7.

Icloud sends updates to outlook made on ipad, but will not send existing appointments from pc to idevice

So i cannot get any existing outlook appointments to sync to my iPad 2 or my I4. I installed to icould control panel for windows and have everything enabled in it. When i create a even on my ipad it will show up in outlook on my pc. However, none of the existing pc based appointments show up on my i4 or ip2. It's weird because in outlook it shows icalander and has them all. I have tried rebooting my idevices and it did not help. I closed and re opened outlook and that pushed a test event created on ipad to my pc but did not push anything else. I did another test and New appointments created on pc sync to ipad, but still no existing appointments sync. Does anyone know how i can get them to show up?

Hi tz, Thnaks for the input. The settings are the same as my PC, SSL is off and there is no Authentication required; I've check this requirement with Apple and Orange guidelines and this is also what they recommend; however, I'll try with the Authentication on and see what happens....I'll post again later, running out of time now so it could be after the weekend before I get back with an update. Synch deletes all prior calendar appointments from my Outlook

I am encountering new and undesirable behavior when synching iPhone to Outlook.
It has worked great in the past.
Now, it deletes all appointments from Outlook prior to the day of synching.
And, it only synchs FROM Outlook TO iPhone.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

What version of Microsoft Outlook are you using?
Is it a Click-to-run installation or is it using a connector add-on?
Are your calendar and contacts stored locally on the computer in a .pst file?
When your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is connected via usb, do you have the synchronization options displaying in BlackBerry Link?
When do you receive the message that the software does not support synchronization?
Is this when you are trying to configure the synchronization settings?

Which email service supports Diary appointments from Outlook?

I have just bought a new iphone 3G. Previously I was using a Blackberry.
I want to be able to receive diary appointments from Outlook users into a mail account so my diary appears on my iphone.
Which email service is best to set up. I have tried mobile me but the outlook appointment appears to come through with an object in the content which cannot be opened. Am I missing something?

outlook.com is very nice I use it to fetch my gmail account since gmail did not support Exchange active sync anymore

Has anyone used the as_pdf2 package in APEX to create pdf's from sql

I need to create a pdf in APEX. I have researched and found as_pdf2 as a possible solution. If anyone has used this solution in APEX, can you provide any more detail on implementing than what was provided with the plugin? The readme explains at a high level on how to implement but I would like to get as much detail as possible.

as_pdf2 isn't meant to be used as an stand alone package. It's a trimmed down version, made especially for the plugin http://www.apex-plugin.com/oracle-apex-plugins/process-type-plugin/reports-2-pdf_140.html , of it's big brothers as_pdf

Create Outlook 2013 Calendar Report

Hi,
Can anyone advise me on how I would go about creating my own template/report to print out a daily calendar from my Outlook 2013 (32 bit) running on Windows 7.
The default daily print out is good but there are a couple of changes I would like to make. For example displaying tasks with no due date, and including appointments from other calendars.

In Outlook 2013 there's no build-in feature to do some customizations as you mentioned. However, with the help of Calendar Printing Assistant, we can have an easy way to print and customize Outlook calendar information:

Outlook appointments not editable on iPhone after sync

When an appointment is created in Outlook and sync'ed to the iPhone, you can't edit or delete the appointment. But if you create an appointment, on your iPhone you can edit and delete, unless you change and save the item from Outlook.
Also, you can't create an appointment from the iPhone and add attendees like from Outlook or change the appointment like to suggest another time or date.
Using iPhone 3G, Outlook 2007 - sync'ing with Exchange 2003.
Anyone having this problem and/or have a solution or suggestion?

Fixed it!!! Got fix from another post. Fix was posted by cmaglinger.
All I had to do was match the capitalization or the exact format of my email address from active directory.
On my iPhone it first had it configured with all lowercase characters, but my email in AD had some capitals. So, I just changed my iPhone to match.
That fixed 2 things for me:
1) Quit getting invitations from everything that I created even if just me attending.
2) BIG ONE - I am able to edit all appointments wether created on pc or iPhone.

The report is on a different data base ... need to create a process to get the data into the view behind the report and then materialized view in Apex etc .Then recreate the same report in Apex. But I am trying use the disc report url to invoke the report directly from apex.
Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly aprreciated.

If yes where can I get instructions on how to setup APEX with BI Publisher with EBiz.

I'm not aware of the BIP/XMLP Web Services being available in the embedded EBS version (XML Publisher 5.6.3). But you might be able to create your own wrapper to the XMLP APIs in EBS.
