Create PO from SC: error in transactin type

Hi all,
I'm on SRM 5.0 with Extended classic scenario.
In particular the scenario is the follow:
create purchase requisition on R3 and replicate it as SC in SRM
create PO on SRM from SC and replicate it on R3
create good movements in R3.
The question is: when a SC is created on SRM, it is created with a values as backend doc type.
This value is takken from the OU (of the SC) for example ZB10.
But if i want to create a PO of type ZB11 from this SC, the system gives me an error: The SC has got another transaction type".
Type transaction type given to SC is taken from the BSA attribute of OU.
It's standard behaviour that I can create a PO from a SC only for a determinate transaction type?

Hi Enzo,
first:
The only chance to change the follow document type for PO within extended Scenario within BAdI is to change the BE_DOC_TYPE directly in the inbound BAdiI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI (Method BBP_SC_CHANGE).
Here you can set the desired be_doc_type which will be used for automatic sourcing.
Your problem seems to be an customizing error in your R/3 System:
Check your settings in SPRO (R/3)
--> Material Management --> Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Define Document Types
Check Settings for your desired PO doc type
Your PO_DOC_TYPE must be available within the linkage to the doc_type used in your purchase requistion
For example:
I use 2 different PO_DOC_TYPES in SRM
Z1
Z2
Both types are set within OM (SRM) as an attribute (BSA and DP_PROC_TY )
Besides that, both PO_DOC_TYPES (z1 and Z2) are linked to my requistion doc type (z3) in R/3 customizing (mentioned above)
I can create Z1 and Z2 POs out of purchase requisitions with doc type z3 now.
Best regards
Andreas

• Bulk Create Users from CSV: Error: "Put": "There is no such object on the server."?

Hi,
I'm using the below PowerShell script, by @hicannl which I found on the MS site, for bulk creating users from a CSV file.
I've had to edit it a bit, adding some additional user fields, and removing others, and changing the sAMAccount name from first initial + lastname, to firstname.lastname. However now when I run it, I get an error saying:
"[ERROR] Oops, something went wrong: The following exception occurred while retrieving member "Put": "There is no such object on the server."
The account is created in the default OU, with the correct firstname.lastname format, but then it seems to error at setting the "Set an ExtensionAttribute" section. However I can't see why!
Any help would be appreciated!

• Create Table from Spreadsheet Error / Privileges

Using Application Express 2.2.0.00.32.
I can create a table using the Object Browser or via the SQL Command utility. If I try to load data from a csv or create an application from a spreadsheet, I get the following:
ORA-20001: Unable to create modules. ORA-20001: create_table error: ORA-20001: Excel load run ddl error: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
I've tried searching the forums, but haven't found the needle in this haystack yet.
Probably a common problem but it has me perplexed.
What piece of the puzzle am I not understanding?
Thanks.
cagora

Then make sure the parsing schema of that other workspace has create table privilege granted directly to it. Better yet, review the system privileges of the working schema and make sure the broken schema has the same privs. Do not grant privileges using roles.

Old initSID.ora file located in directory below
cd $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
sqlplus / as sysdba...
SQL> create pfile from spfile ;
create pfile from spfile

• An error occured while creating the new dataset Could not get type informat

Uses: Windows XP Pro SP3+; OracleXE; Oracle 8i Client; ODP.NET; Visual Studio 2005 PRO;
I had OracleXE and was using OracleXE's Oracle.DataAccess Version 10.2.0.100 which was located in C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN. Then to use Oracle Developer Tools for VS, I installed ODAC where the Oracle.DataAccess's version was 2.111.6.20.
Everything connected via SqlPlus and even was able to Oracle XE Home page and was able to loginto it. Further, was even able to create connection with Oracle Dot Net Provider. The problem was created when I tried to create a datasource from DataSource Menu in VS.2005. It was giving an error saying "An error occured while creating the new dataset Could not get type information for dataset". However I wittnessed that Dataset is been created in Solutions Explorer but not in Data Source Tab. Further researching I was able to create Datasets with Microsofts Oracle Data provider with out any issue.
My Path variable list the following:
C:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\client_1;
C:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\client_1\bin;

Further I got 2 Oracle Homes one which C:\orant and other is located in C:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\client_1.
Also noted that while deploying at client site I started gett'n this error:
"Unable to install or run the application. The application requires that assembly Oracle.DataAcces version be installed in Global Assembly Cache First."
Is it due to change in the production machine? Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Hi Pushpa,
Which enhancement package are you on currently? This is observed in cases where originals in DIR's are invisible and sometimes error message 26296 occurs in transaction CV01n. Hence,please check your entries in the table SDOKPROP to avoid such a problem in your system.
Further,suggest you explore if the below resolutions can be adopted in your case.

• Getting general error when saving site using "create PDF from"

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0.0 for Mac, trying to save websites. This started working fine, but I had to shut down in the middle of a site being saved. Now when I try to save a site using Web Capture/create PDF from I get a "general error, nothing was saved". What do I need to do, remove, replace, reinstall or whatever to get this feature working again?
Also can anyone tell me how to set the feature that saves web pages with the headers and footers showing date, time, URL, page title, etc. I often use the print feature (save to PDF) and up until a day or so ago it always saved with those headers and footers. Now they're missing, which is what prompted me to try saving entire sites, above. I remember setting these a long time ago and being able to choose what went on the left, right,header and footer, but I cannot find those settings now.
Thanks,
Michele

Well, after downloading Applejack, I am completely confused. I'm not sure I understand what will happen if I do any of these steps: see 3a.. "clean out all cache files including the Launch Services database and any cached User Pictures". What kinds of things will I lose? Can I choose only the Acrobat cache files? I don't want to have to spend hours or days resetting things as I'm in the middle of a project with a close deadline. I also don't really understand fully what will happen with all the other things they discuss. The instructions say (I just copied and pasted these):
3. Auto mode: You can let the script run through its tasks automatically by typing 'applejack auto'. If you want the machine to automatically restart at the end of its tasks, use 'applejack auto restart'. You can also tell the computer to shut down automatically at the end by using the command line 'applejack auto shutdown'.
3a. Deep Auto mode: If you want to let AppleJack clean out all cache files, including the Launch Services database and any cached User Pictures, use 'applejack AUTO' instead. Use this if you still have problems booting after running AppleJack already.
4. Interactive mode: To run through just one task, or to run the script manually, type 'applejack' and then choose tasks from the menu. Running the script in interactive mode has the benefit of giving you options for working with user level cache and preference files, not just the default system level caches and preferences. To select an option, type the highlighted number or letter associated with the action, and then hit return. Whenever you enter a choice in AppleJack, you will need to hit return for that choice to take effect.
4. Corrupted preference files are moved into a directory that will mirror the original preference directory, with (Corrupt) added to the directory name. For example, corrupt preferences files found in ~/Library/Preferences will be moved to ~/Library/Preferences (Corrupt). After running AppleJack, you'll probably want to take a look at them (and most likely throw out those folders). As of version 1.4.2, AppleJack now creates a copy of the directory tree inside the (Corrupt) folder so that if any files were deeply nested inside the original preference folder, they will be placed in an identical directory hierarchy in the new (Corrupt) folder. This way, if for any reason you would want to move a preference file back, you know where it should go.
6. AppleJack has a primitive logging mechanism. It writes a journal of most of its activity to /var/log/AppleJack.log. AppleJack will automatically reset the log the next time you run it, if the file should ever reach a size somewhat over 500k.

• Flexunit + Parsley - re-creating error: "Object of type is already managed"

Hello,
This may sound a bit strange but I'm trying to force an "Object of type is already managed" error to recreate a bug we had in our app for
flexunit testing purposes. The problem arised when we upgraded to FB 4.5 and had a double parsley configuration in a popup launched from a module.
Here's my flexunit test:
[code]
[Test]
public function testReportsPrintDialog1():void
rpDialog = new ReportsPrintDialog();
//attempting to forcibly re-create the project-70 bug:
//"Object of type reportsDirectoryModule.views::ReportsPrintDialog is already managed"
childContext.viewManager.addViewRoot(reportsDirectoryBase);
childContext.viewManager.addViewRoot(rpDialog);
trace("rpDialog: " + GlobalState.objects.isManaged(rpDialog));
trace("reportsDirectoryBase: " + GlobalState.objects.isManaged(reportsDirectoryBase));
rpDialog.addEventListener(FlexEvent.CREATION_COMPLETE, onCreationComplete, false, 0, true);
PopUpManager.addPopUp(rpDialog, DisplayObject(FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication));
[/code]
Unfortunatly, my attempts at 'forcing' the extra parsley object managment by using addViewRoot is not reproducing the error.
In my test suite I am setting up my main and module scoped parsley context in the next code snippit and it has
been working very well for other tests so far. Here's the context setup code:
[code]
import reportsDirectoryModule.parsleyConfig.ParsleyConfig;
public var context:Context;
public var childContext:Context;
//create base TDMSE parsley context
this.context = ContextBuilder.newBuilder()
.config(FlexConfig.forClass(TDMSEAppParsleyConfig))
.object(this)
.build();
this.childContext = ContextBuilder
.newSetup()
.parent(context)
.newBuilder()
.config(FlexConfig.forClass(reportsDirectoryModule.parsleyConfig.ParsleyConfig))
.build();
[/code]
The ReportsPrintDialog actually inherits from a base popup class called ReportsDirectoryBase which has this parsley declaration:
[code]
<s:TitleWindow xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:parsley="http://www.spicefactory.org/parsley"
skinClass="common.skins.TitleWindowSkin">
<fx:Declarations>
<parsley:ContextBuilder id="childContext"
parents="{app.module.getContext()}" domain="{app.applicationDomain}"/>
<parsley:Configure />
</fx:Declarations>
<fx:Script>
<![CDATA[
import mx.core.FlexGlobals;
[Bindable]
private static var app:Object = FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication;
[/code]
And the 'Object of type is already managed' exception was because ReportsPrintDialog had the following Configure declaration:
[code]
<rdv:ReportsDirectoryBase xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
xmlns:rdv="reportsDirectoryModule.views.*"
xmlns:cc="common.components.*"
xmlns:parsley="http://www.spicefactory.org/parsley"
title="Print Reports Confirmation"
width="300"
creationComplete="init()"
showCloseButton="true"
close="closeWindow()">
<fx:Declarations>
<parsley:Configure/>
</fx:Declarations>
[/code]
I know this is a bit strange, but if nothing else, I'm chalking it down as a good flexunit/parsley learning experience.
Thanks,
Eric H

Hi,
I am getting below error while creating subsite from existing site template .

There must be a duplicate Email field created in any list/library. The cause can be identified by renaming the site template to sitename.cab > extact the cab file > open the manifest file search for email and see where it is associated. Refer

Sounds like an activation issue. Quite Premiere Pro. Sign out of Creative Cloud. Restart Premiere Pro. Sign back in: http://bit.ly/CC-sign-out
Hope that works for you.

• Error while creating datasource from table MBEWH

Hi all,
I am facing an error message while creating datasource from table MBEWH
"Invalid extract structure template MBEWH of DataSource "; This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field LBKUM refer to a different table.
Can anyone help me that why system is not allowing me to generate generic datasource for table MBEWH to transfer my month wise inventory data.
thanks and regards.

Hi Zakir,
This was comming for classification data... when ever you want to extract some classification related data then we can't create generic datasources directly.. for that you need to go with CTBW ( tcode ) and create one datasource...
so, you need to check that related table also.. for that MBEWH table..
ALL THE CLASSIFICATION RELATED DATASOURCES WE CAN'T CREATE DIRECTLY... JUST LIKE AUSP table also.. liek this..
regards

Im getting an error when running a procedure that includes this code.

Please follow basic Netiquette and post the DDL we need to answer this. Follow industry and ANSI/ISO standards in your data. You should follow ISO-11179 rules for naming data elements. You should follow ISO-8601 rules for displaying temporal data. We need
to know the data types, keys and constraints on the table. Avoid dialect in favor of ANSI/ISO Standard SQL. And you need to read and download the PDF for:
https://www.simple-talk.com/books/sql-books/119-sql-code-smells/
>> I need to select from a dynamic column name and save the result in a variable, but seem to be having trouble with the values being fed to sp_executesql <<
This is so very, very wrong! A column is an attribute of an entity. The idea that you are so screwed up that you have no idea if you want
the shoe size, the phone number or something else at run time of this entity.
In Software Engineering we have a principle called cohesion that says a model should do one and only one task, have one and only one entry point, and one and only one exit point.
Hey, on a scale from 1 to 10, what color is your favorite letter of the alphabet? Yes, your mindset is that level of sillyity and absurdity.
Do you know that SQL is a declarative language? This family of languages does not use local variables!
Now think about “month_val” and what it means. A month is a temporal unit of measurement, so this is as silly as saying “liter_val” in your code. Why did you use “sp_” on a procedure? It has special meaning in T-SQL.
Think about how silly this is:
SET @month_val = 'Month' + CAST(@month_nbr AS VARCHAR(2));
We do not do display formatting in a query. This is a violation of at the tiered architecture principle. We have a presentation layer. But more than that, the INTERVAL temporal data type is a {year-month} and never just a month. This is fundamental.
We need to see the DDL so we can re-write this mess. Want to fix it or not?
