Hello all,
I want to display popup confirm window when closing browser window, "changes will be lost" yes or no.
can anyone explaine me why I could not triggert from WDDOEXIT and how can I solve this ?

Under interface tab of your feeder class implement IF_FPM_WORK_PROTECTION
In methods tab, you can find method : IF_FPM_WORK_PROTECTION~IS_DIRTY
In that method,Just set EV_DIRTY = abap_true.

Dear All,
I would like to know is it possible to create portal user-id through web dynpro abap application.
My requirement is
> I have to create a web dynpro abap application. In the web dynpro abap application I have name email-id and phone number as entry fields.
> I will click on submit, one unique id will get created. This unique id will be the login id for portal.
I found how to create portal user using web dynpro java, but i could not find regarding web dynpro abap.
If it is possible to create the portal users using web dynpro abap pls share the code as well.

ZCI and ADS problem when creating forms in ABAP WEB DYNPRO
1.)
My ZCI problem is, whenever I try to create a form, i choose ZCI layout, then want to insert Web Dynpro Script, i get the message:
"Error when inserting Web Dynpro Script"
Therefore I cannot activate my forms.
2.)
I also tried to configurate ADS in transaction SM59. When trying the Check connection button, it works, but when trying report FP_PDF_TEST_00, a logon window pops up, whichafter I get the errormessage:
ERRORCODE : 100.101
Why is that, and how can I solve this?

Create dynamic table in web dynpro abap
Hi Friends,
I want to create several tables in a web dynpro. For this reason I have created a View, a group1 and a context node.
Now I want create a table for each characteristic group from cabn in the ui group1.
For this reason I want to use create_table_from_node and I have to craete dynamicly attributes in the node.
Is it the propper way or is there a different approach.
So in this case
1. I read the node
2. craete attribute for each characteristic group in this node
3. create a UI Table with create_table_from_node for each attribute
4. bind the data to the UI Table
Can I do the same without to craete attributes?

Have you looked at using the row-repeater UI element? You could then have as many tables as per your characteristic groups.
Although this would be more difficult if the attributes of each table were to also be only known at run-time. (I'm not sure that this is the case though from your description of the issue.)
so have a context of the form:
Context Root
--->node_characteristic_group (0..n)
>node_char_group_details(0...n) (non-singleton child node)
then bind your row repeater to node "node_characteristic_group " and bind the table inside the row repeater to node "node_char_group_details".
Each time you had a new element in the node_characteristic_group you would get a new table...
Much easier to support that anything dynamically created.

I am new to Web Dynpro for java. I have developed an application for creating a sales order using adaptive RFC Model using BAPI. It's working fine when i create a single order. I wanna create SO with more than one line item. I have used the Table UI Element to do so. But i could not able to enter the 2nd item details. Please suggest me how to pass more than one line item from the Table UI element.

If the BAPI Contains Output values in R/3 side.
I mean to say if BAPI contains 4 line items.u can get thru wdjava the followinf way.
1. Create webdynpro application.
2.Import the model.
3.Create Customcontroller and model binding .
4. Write the execute method in controller.
BAPI b = new BAPI();
WdContext.node<BAPI>.bind(b);
give inputs for BAPI
b.setname(" ");
b.setno("");
wdContext.currentBAPI().modelObejet().execute();
wdContext.node<output>.invalidate(); in try catch
5. create view or when u give the dynpro application its
in the add custom to view and drag BAPI custom to view .
6.Crete UI for ur table thru insertTemplate table directly mapp the output values.
7. deploy and run
U can get the out line items .
Or any thing else post ur requirement.

How to create PDF from a web dynpro screen
Hi all,
I am in the process of creating my first web dynpro application for parking a document, the new requirement is when the user parks the document, a PDF of the web dynpro screen should also be generated. Can you please tell me how can I achieve that.

RajatA PDF generated from the screen? There is no SAP delivered functionality to do this. I might suggest that you just use the browser print and print to a PDF generated virtual printer. Otherwise you would have to design an Adobe Form (and run it within WDA using the InteractiveForm) that matched the interface of the WDA screen. There is no automatic generation. You would have to design and maintain each independently.

As far as answer to your second question is concerned,
=> If u create a structure Dictionary in web dynpro application it will not create the table in Portal database..
You can access that table via creating a web dynpro iview in Portal..
Only application can accessed after deployment via iviews in Portal..
