Create Record in Dynamic CRM Online
Hi,
How can I create Dynamic CRM online Record from sharepoint using Nintex workflow.
Thanks
Take a look at this thread: https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/104204.aspx
The short of it is you need to do it through the Office 365 tools, not the CRM tools. Since Office 365 has its own API, it's possible to create the user that way. The bottom comment has a PowerShell example you could build from.

Creating Record Group dynamically.
Hi,
I have multi line block. My req is i have create record group dynamically based on some fields in line level. This my code in To Location - Key next item,
DECLARE
group_id RecordGroup;
v_lms_lov lov;
BEGIN
group_id := Create_Group_From_Query ('RG_LMSID',
'SELECT lms_id
FROM sify_lms_header
WHERE from_location = :lines.from_location
AND to_location = :lines.to_location;'
v_lms_lov := find_lov('LOV_LMSID');
set_lov_property(v_lms_lov,group_name,'RG_LMSID');
Set_Item_Property('LINES.LMS_ID',LOV_NAME,'LOV_LMSID');
END;
It says, no records in lov. Anything i missed.
Or any other way to achieve this.
Pl help.
Thanks
KavithaKavitha,
Why you need Dynamic record group for this?, you can give the control names in the record group query. Then the record group's query will be
SELECT LMS_ID FROM SIFY_LMS_HEADER WHERE FROM_LOCATION = :LINES.FROM_LOCATION AND TO_LOCATION = :LINES.TO_LOCATIONAnd if you still want to use the dynamic record group creation, then try
DECLARE
RG_Group_ID RECORDGROUP;
BEGIN
RG_Group_ID := FIND_GROUP('RG_LMSID');
IF NOT Id_Null(RG_Group_ID) THEN
DELETE_GROUP(RG_Group_ID);
END IF;
RG_Group_ID := CREATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY('RG_LMSID', 'SELECT LMS_ID FROM SIFY_LMS_HEADER WHERE FROM_LOCATION = ''' || :LINES.FROM_LOCATION || ''' AND TO_LOCATION = ''' || :LINES.TO_LOCATION || '''');
SET_LOV_PROPERTY('LOV_LMSID', GROUP_NAME, 'RG_LMSID');
SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('LINES.LMS_ID', LOV_NAME, 'LOV_LMSID');
END;Regards,
Manu.

Communicate (CRUD) with CRM Online from SharePoint Online
Hi,
I'm working on an offer to a client where I'm considering if I'll recommend SharePoint Online.
Most of the requirements from the client are out of the box SharePoint and doesn't affect the decision to go for SharePoint Online. However, the client has one requirement, which is that they need to be able to update Entities/records in their CRM Online
solution from SharePoint. I'm not sure how those updates should be triggered, but my guess is it should be triggered when an item in a list/document library changes it's status (a status field). This would probably require custom development of some sort (Event
Receiver? Workflow?) which uses the CRM web services.
Is this even possible in SP Online?
I've done a lot of searching for this in Google, but haven't found anything interesting yet. I come across solutions for integration the other way though (FROM CRM to SharePoint), but I need integration with CRM FROM SharePoint.
Thanks!Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to communicate SharePoint Online and CRM Online.
We can use the Business Connectivity Services (BCS) to communicate SharePoint Online (SPO) to CRM Online.

Dynamic CRM 2013 Online how to execute Report, generate PDF and email
Dear All,
I am using Dynamic CRM 2013 online. For quote, I have workflow and Dialogue processes for review process. On approval, I want the system to generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer.
Better I would like, When approver, clicks on the approve button, the system should auto generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer, without any further input from the user. If its not possible, I may have to put button on
quote form.
I am using the attached code, but facing various issues.
1. Under prepare the SOAP Message coding part, I am not sure what should be the below URL for CRM 2013 Online?
xHReq.Open("POST", "/mscrmservices/2007/CrmService.asmx", false);
2. What should be the emailid here? Is it Recepient Contact id(Guid) ?
var emailid = resultXml.selectSingleNode("//CreateResult").nodeTypedValue;
alert("emailid" + emailid.toString());
3. Using this code, not able to create Entity for "ActivityMimeAttachment", I am getting newEntity as undefined.
Below is the code I am using. Please check and help me out, where I am going wrong. Let me know if any better way to implement it. At present, I have put one button on quote form, on click event, below code will get executed.

How to get count of all records of all entities in CRM Online
Hi,
I want to get count of all records entitywise in dynamics CRM 2013 online. I know we can count the records in CRM on-premise using a SQL query in report. Earlier I wrote a SSRS report to count the records in a CRM entity wise as displayed in
the screenshot below..
Can someone suggest me a good approach to implement the same in CRM Online.
Thanks
Pratibha SinghHello,
In a CRM Online environment, you need to create reports based on Fetch XML. Take a look at this link to create a Fetch XML query with aggregates: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg309565.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396#count .
Here is an example to create a report in an online environment: http://edwardsdna.com/2012/12/03/crmonline-report/
Hope it helps,
Kind regards -
. Is it possible to create condition record in both CRM as well as in R/3
hi,
. Is it possible to create condition record in both CRM as well as in R/3? Explain in more details.
Regards,
babuHi Babu,
No. You cannot create condition records in CRM when back end is R/3.
Condition records should be created in R/3 and replicated to CRM.
You cannot extend condition records in CRM.
Reward the Points.

Create Web Form data records in Oracle CRM OnDemand
Hello,
One of our customers has a requirement to capture leads through a Web based HTML form. This captured data (First Name, Last Name, email Id) should then create a corresponding Opportunity record in Oracle's CRM OnDemand.
From what I know, CRM OnDemand is a provider in terms of Web Services and not a Taker.
Can somebody suggest on the best way to implement this?
Thanks & Regards,
Nitin JainThere are couples of web services provided by oracle for this purpose, by using that you can insert, update, query, delete records in CRM OnDemand.
So you need to write the web service client program which takes data from your web form and create record in OnDemand. It can be in any language / platform (like java, c++, PHP etc)
Check web services guide for more details.

How an sale order Created in CRM online will be reflected in MSA
Hi,
Could any one explain how the sale order created in CRM online reflected in MSA.
Give me an idea how data from CRM application is tranfered to MSA.?what is the role of MDW and MAR(mobile application repository) in mobile sales?.
Edited by: Shiva kumar avvula on Jul 23, 2008 11:36 AMhi,
You can create sales transactions, that is, quotations or sales orders, on both the mobile client and in CRM Enterprise. You can access your documents at any time and place. You can make changes to them as required, for example in the office, or on a laptop during a customer visit. Sales transactions are exchanged between systems using CRM Middleware so that you are always informed about current quotations and inquiries.
First CRM data will store in CDB( consolidate data base), from here transactional data will transfer to MObiles through communication station.
Database that contains data relevant to replication (CDB tables) for mobile scenarios. The CDB is a logical part of the entire CRM database, which also contains application data.
What evet the data coming from CRM online that will convert into SBDOC and thorugh communication station it will reach mobiles.
for more details check the link.

How to create a record structure dynamically
Hi,
I would like to create a record structure dynamically in the body of my pl/sql procedure.
I don't want to create the structure in the declaration because my record structure depends on some parameters that the procedure will receive.
Thank you> I would like to create a record structure dynamically in the body of my pl/sql procedure
Terrible idea. Why? Because if the structure is dynamic then you need to write pretty complex code to handle this structure that could be anything. Complex code means buggy code. Inconsistent code. Weird run-time errors. Etc.
Yes, you can create dynamic "structures" - for example, you can create a user defined type that at execution time can decide what properties it has. Similar to a an object in an o-o language that has a RTTI (Run Time Type Information) interface.
But this is complex. And what did I say about complex code above? Not the best of ideas most of the time.
There is however a very easy way to deal with dynamic data via a "dynamic" structure that is in fact a statically defined structure. Arrays aka collections aka associative arrays.
E.g.
create or replace type TStrings as table of varchar2(4000);
Using this I can create a SQL statement (cursor) on any table, with any predicates, and pass the results (dynamic list of columns) to a procedure for processing:
select TStrings(object_id,object_type,object_name) as DYNAMIC_LIST from user_objects order by object_type, object_name
Using this I can create a procedure that accepts a dynamic list of values and process these:
create or replace procedure DynamicProcess( list TStrings ) as ...
So when thinking "dynamic structures" - think it through carefully. There is a difference between an UNKNOWN structure and a DYNAMIC structure.
The former needs a RTTI interface. You have no idea what the structure contains. You need an interface to call in order for it to describe the structure for you. This is complex stuff.
The latter means that you know the structure as it is pre-defined (statically defined). At run-time, it can contain any number of elements - thus making the structure dynamic. This is easy stuff.
I would rather go for the easy stuff than the complex stuff any time of the day - even when on my 3rd cup of coffee... -
dynamic way to create record with pipe delimited
Hi guys,
I got one program currently doing this to create record in a flat txt file
APPEND WA_OUTPUT TO GT_OUTPUT.
Now, client comes back and says they want pipe delimiter ( | ) between each field of record.
So I know I can do something like this.
CONCATENATE WA_OUTPUT-REC1 WA_OUTPUT-REC2 WA_OUTPUT-REC3.....INTO GT_OUTPUT-LINE SEPERATED BY "PIPE".
The thing is, wa_output structure has like hundreds of field, and I do not want to do a long concatenate syntax.
Is there anyway to go around this situation?
Thanks in advance!
BBOk Alejiandro and Keshav,
Let me get this straight, sorry in advance if I get it wrong.
My work area in my program always has the first field populated since it's record type value and it's hard-coded. I would assume that it would be safe to check if lv_string is initial in the DO loop as is in the original code. What do you think?
In case my work area first field is blank, I did this below?
ASSIGN COMPONENT sy-index OF STRUCTURE ls_kna1 TO <lv_field>.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
" add record to string, if it's the first field don't use separator
IF <lv_field> IS INITIAL.
WRITE <lv_field> TO lv_string_field.
CONCATENATE lv_string '|' INTO lv_string.
elseIF lv_string IS INITIAL.
WRITE <lv_field> TO lv_string_field.
lv_string = lv_string_field.
elseIF lv_string(1) = '|' and sy-index = 2.
WRITE <lv_field> TO lv_string_field.
CONCATENATE lv_string lv_string_field INTO lv_string.
ELSE.
WRITE <lv_field> TO lv_string_field.
CONCATENATE lv_string '|' lv_string_field INTO lv_string.
ENDIF.
ELSE.
" add string to our table and leave the DO-ENDDO-loop for this KNA1 record
APPEND lv_string TO lt_string.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
I tested it, and it should work if the first field of the record is blank.
Thanks,

Hi,
I have created a User Access report for CRM on-premise using SQl query in the following format. One row corresponds to one user in organization. Currently, I am using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online trial version and have two users in my organization.
I want to the same report for CRM Online environment. Only Fetch-Xml based custom reports are supported by CRM online environment hence this SQL query cannot be used.
I have already written fetch-xml query to retrieve user access records ("audit" entity records) in "last-x-months" (where x = 1,2,3,4,5,6) as below.
I am able to retrieve the records with "last-x-months" condition at a time, for example, the last-2-months in my fetch-xml query only.
For, example, when I retrieve the records in the last-2-months, it also includes the records in the last month. I want to count the records in the 2nd month only that is the difference between these two. The difference will be my 2nd column.
Similarly, I want the other columns.
For the case in the above example, I have created the two separate datasets to get the record-count for the last month and last-2-months. But, I am not able to use the two datasets in the same table in my report and hence not able to calculate the difference.
Is there any way to solve this problem?Hi,
I have modified my Fetch-XML query to retrieve all the required User Access records and removed aggregation and counting and grouping from the query as well. Did grouping and counting in SSRS. Now the report works fine as shown in the above picture. -
Hi,
I am using CRM ONLINE 2013.
How to automate below process?
1. On Approval Of Quotation, Run Report.
2. Generate PDF.
3. Send an Email With PDF as attachment.
As i have gone through many forums for this topic, but creating a plugin code for generating Report PDF is not possible in CRM ONLINE.
So, What is the alternate way to do this..?
Thanks.This is my entire code mentioned below:-

Error while uploading report in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online
I have created a report using fetch-xml query for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. In this field, I have created a custom enity which has "Last Accessed Date Time" field of type "DateTime". This field stores the value in GTM. I am retrieving
the value of this field using fetch-xml query. Also, I want to calculate the difference between the current DateTime and the value (in the locale and not in GMT) of this field in "Hours Minutes Seconds" format. I
have written an expression for the same in reportas follows.
(IIF(((INT((DateDiff(DateInterval.Second, DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value), DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime(), DateTime.Now))/60))>60), INT(((((DateDiff(DateInterval.Second, DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value),
DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime(), DateTime.Now)))/60)) / 60), 0))
& "Hours"&
(IIF(((INT((DateDiff(DateInterval.Second, DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value), DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime(), DateTime.Now))/60))>60), INT((((DateDiff(DateInterval.Second,DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value),
DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime(), DateTime.Now)))/60) Mod 60), INT((DateDiff(DateInterval.Second, DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value), DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime(), DateTime.Now))/60)))
& "Minutes" &
((DateDiff(DateInterval.Second, DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value),
DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime(), DateTime.Now)) Mod 60)
& "Seconds"
This works fine in visual studio. But, when tried to upload the same report in CRM Online organization, it gives the following error.
Any idea how to solve this issue?I have found the following useful link-
- support.microsoft.com/.../en-us
The error occurred because I have used some functions("Int", "DateTime.SpecifyKind(DateTime.Parse(Fields!new_lastaccesseddatetime.Value), DateTimeKind.Utc).ToLocalTime()") in my ssrs report which are not supported by CRM Online., though
it works fine in visual studio. -
How to delete records from dynamic internal table.
Hi Experts,
Need urgent help!!!
Issue is with Dynamic internal tables.
Below is code written by me :
FORM select_query USING Lw_tabnam
TYPE t682i-kotabnr.
DATA : lw_line TYPE REF TO data,
lw_line1 TYPE REF TO data.
CREATE DATA Lw_line TYPE (lw_TABNAM).
ASSIGN Lw_line->* TO <WA_tbl>.
CREATE DATA LW_LINE TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF (Lw_tabnam)
WITH NON-UNIQUE DEFAULT KEY.
ASSIGN Lw_line->* TO <TBL>.
SELECT * FROM (Lw_tabnam)
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE <TBL>
WHERE (t_keys).
Endform.
code is working fine.
here even the table name and where condition are dynamic,everything is fine upto this point.
Now i have to delete some record from <TBL> based on some conditons.
for ex : ( here lc_fieldname is KUNNR)
loop at t_kunnr.
lw_tabix = sy-tabix.
Read table <tbl>
with key (lc_fieldname) = t_kunnr-kunnr ASSIGNING <wa_tbl>.
If sy-subrc = 0.
*Delete
delete <tbl> from <wa_tbl>
delete <tbl> index lw_tabix.
Endif.
Endloop.
The above delete statement doesn't work ,even we can't use index as it gives a syntax error " something related to "index is not allowed in standard table or hash table.
Can you help me ab't how to delete records in Dynamic internal table?
Other option that i am thinking of is to create a static table of type dynamic table.
means, data itab type standard table of <tbl> .I know the syntax is wrong ,however is there any way to do this?
Thanks in advance ,
If you have any suggestion ab't this then do let me know.
bye,
Gaurav.Hi
I wrote this code and it works fine:
DATA LW_TABNAM(10) VALUE 'LFA1'.
DATA : LW_LINES TYPE REF TO DATA,
LW_LINE TYPE REF TO DATA.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <TABLE> TYPE TABLE,
<WA> TYPE ANY.
CREATE DATA LW_LINES TYPE TABLE OF (LW_TABNAM)
WITH NON-UNIQUE DEFAULT KEY.
ASSIGN LW_LINES->* TO <TABLE>.
CREATE DATA LW_LINE TYPE (LW_TABNAM).
ASSIGN LW_LINE->* TO <WA>.
DO 10 TIMES.
APPEND INITIAL LINE TO <TABLE>.
ENDDO.
SY-TABIX = 4.
DELETE <TABLE> INDEX SY-TABIX.
WRITE SY-SUBRC.
I hope it help you

How to create custom report in crm 2013
Hi,
I want to create custom report in crm 2013. I want to show Contact information in report. My scenario is that when I select multiple record and run report then contact information show in different pages. I want to show record in textbox in report. Here
is an example of display recordHi Aamir,
Have a look at below link it shows step by step how to create custom SSRS report.
http://www.njevity.com/blog/creating-dynamics-crm-2011-reports-sql-reporting-services-pre-filtering-and-default-filters
It tells using fetchxml, you can use SQL query as well. You need to use pre filtering to run report on selected record.
Thanks,
Prasad
