I am new to bex queres as a source using xir4 .How can i cretae cross tab
as below
     Measur1     Measure2     M3     M4
Region
Offering
Genitic
Total     Sum(M1)     Sum(M2)     Sum(M3)     Sum(M4)
Where m1 m2 m3 m4 are mearues on top axis and region, offering genitic,are dimension on x- axis.which table best to use.pls suggest.

Simple Way : Break the table by Region and apply Sum Aggregation on qty. you will have a display like this
Region    revenue
North      200
Sum        200
South     390
Sum       390
east    100
Sum     100
west     50
Sum     50
Sum   740 ( Grand Total)
Other Way: Create a new report variable ,apply break on Region_num & use Sum Aggregation on Qty.
Output will be like this
Region_num    Region     Revenue
Region 1         North        200
..............South       390
Sum............... 590
Region 2          East         100
..............West          50
Sum...............150
Sum................740 (Grand Total)

ORA-02263 when creating Report on Web Service Result

Hi,
I'm using Application Express 4.2.1.00.08 and I'm having problems creating a report on web service result.
This is the tutorial I'm using: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14373_01/appdev.32/e13363/web_serv.htm (yes, I realize it's intended primarily for APEX 3.2).
I am able to create the web service, but when creating a report on web service result, I get the following error in the last step:
ORA-20001: Unable to create form on table. ORA-02263: need to specify the datatype for this column.
I have tried creating a report on the same web service result on apex.oracle.com (Application Express 4.2.1.00.08) and I don't get the error, and I am able to create the report.
The same thing happens with another web service, so I'm puzzled.
What could be the problem?

How to create reports in web ui.

Hi,
I want to create one report in web ui with all open transactions for a sales employee. The open transaction is campaings, activities and opportunities. For campaign what are the bapi or function module we need to use to retrieve the data. Can you give advice how we can get the data for these all transactions for a SE.

You can use the Function Module - CRM_ORDER_READ to read all the data relating to CRM One Order Objects like (Sales Order, Service Orders, etc.)

Webi Stucks while trying to create report with BW7.0 (WIS 10901)

I have some problem about using data created from BW 7.0
1. After I try to drag more than one object to create report from webi and run the query, it got sutcked and appear error as below;
A database error occured. The database error text is: The MDX query SELECT { } ON COLUMNS , HIERARCHIZE( UNION( { [0GL_ACCOUNT INT].[INT 0HIER_NODE] } , { GENERATE ( { [0GL_ACCOUNT INT].[INT 0HIER_NODE] } , { Descendants( [0GL_ACCOUNT INT].CURRENTMEMBER, [0GL_ACCOUNT INT].[LEVEL01]) } ) } ) ) DIMENSION PROPERTIES PARENT_UNIQUE_NAME ON ROWS FROM [$0ABC_C06] SAP VARIABLES [0DAT] INCLUDING 20080606 failed to execute with the error See RFC trace file or SAP system log for more details. (WIS 10901)
this error appears when I try to..
- create query with more than one object
- enable drill-down for the object and click the report to drill down
(This error appears the same in Voyager when drag objects into crosstab)
2. problems with displaying Thai language content created from BW, after I created object, thai content always appears as "######" event I change font to "tahoma", it returns the same result.

step:
1. Create universe connect to BW 7.0 and export universe
2. logon to infoview, choose universe to create report from webi
3. drag object and test drill down
and step for voyager
1. create voyager connection to SAP BW 7.0 use specified username and password
2. use voyager to create report
3. drag object into crosstab

Hello.
We have solved this issue. We tested our connection with MDX Parser in transaction SM59 and that resulted in errors. Then we applied SAP note 1032461 to replace an application server dll (librfc32u.dll). After this procedure, the WebIntelligence was able to run queries with more then 2 dimensions and key-figures!

Report In Web Analysis Studio

I am new to web analysis studio. We have essbase application and want to create a report for Top 50 customers. When I am creating report in web analysis then I am able to see the mmember and able to design the layout. But I dont know where to give the Crirteria for top 50 customers. I mean how to restrict the data, when report is pulling from essbase so that it pulls only top 50 customer accounts.
Please help.

The Top/Bottom functionality is available via the right click Analysis Tools option. To get to thisget out of design mode and view the report and then right click on the row/col that you want to perform the restriction on.
the Top/Bottom option is then available.

Creating alias for Web access to SQL Server Reporting Services

Hello colleagues.
I have MS SQL Server 2012 with SQL Server Reporting Services in domain "domain.local". In the local network at the entrance via Web browser to "mdr.domain.local/Reports" get into Reports of SQL Server Reporting Services and it's work fine.
Necessary that the SQL Server Reporting Services could include via Web browser from alias "reports2.domain.local/Reports". To do this:
1) I created a new A record "reports2" in the DNS leading to IP mdr.domain.local
2) in Reporting Services Configuration Manager on a tab "Web Service URL" in "Report Server Web Service URLs" I add new record "http://reports2:80/ReportServer" (host Header Name: reports2)
BUT "reports2.domain.local/Reports" is not work. When entering to "reports2.domain.local/Reports" I see page "An error in the security certificate for this Web Site..." and when I click "Continue to ...", then "Unable
to find a web page."
What and where I must add/change for work of alias "reports2.domain.local/Reports" by analogy with "mdr.domain.local/Reports"?

With my PKI I create new certificate for "reports2.domain.local" and Import it to MDR server (in Personal). I create new network adapter and configure Reporting Services Configuration on "Report manager URL" tab (for SSL):
mdr.domain.local - certificate "mdr.domain.local" - network adapter №1
reports2.domain.local - certificate "reports2.sygroup.local" - network adapter №2
And all work fine.
If I configure all to 1 network adapter it's doesn't work.

Impossible to create or refresh webi report. (WIJ 77778) - please help

i'm experiencing problem with BO Edge Standard edition on RHEL4 trying to create or refresh a report on Webi.
I have installed BO without problem on the RHEL4.
I can log on Infoview and in CMC with "administrator" however when i try to create a new webi document or refresh a webi document i got an error like
(Your Webintelligence session has expired. Error : WIJ 77778)
I'd like to tell you that i got this error with a simple query (one object on the query).
I have already read the old post concerning the "Time out" however i think it's another kind of problem.
Has anyone idea how i can deal with this issue ?

I found the solution.
Actually the issue came from Administrator's account rights.
After the installation, i was thinking that the Administrator was setted up with all rights.
But i was wrong.
I used Administrator account and it had not enough rights in Webiserver on the CMC that's why if i tryed to create or refresh a report, i got the error msg.

Unable to create a new WEBi Report in XI R4

Hi all,
I am using BO XI R4 , where i can login to Infoview with the credentials and even i can see the home page. But when i click on Create new webi report , it keeps on loading(attached screenshot) and at the end end up saying Session Time out without navigating to New page.
All the serveres are up and running
Kindly let me knmow the reason for this and how to resolve the same.

Please check following things :
- In which Viewer/Mode (Applet/Web) you are facing this issue?
- Are you able to create new report in Webi Rich Client (2- tier Mode)?
- Check whether you are able to see Web Intelligence tab in the BI Launchpad Preference.
- We have seen this issue in BI 4.1 SP03, The issue occurs due the the BOE License.
- For testing first Download the Temporary Licence key from service market place.
- Check whether you can use the Web Intelligence Application or not.

How to create report tabs in WebIntelligence report in BO XIR2 through .net sdku2019s?

ReportEngine.NET (RE.NET) SDK does not have report creation/modification functionality.
ReportEngine Java (REBean) does, and you're able to add a Report (and thus a Report Tab) with it.

Creating crucial report in web analysis..

Here is an interesting issue.we have Actual and Forecast data.
In generating the reports using web analysis for one crucial report.we have version number which is a memebr of version dimension.Based on the version number selected,it must show only the forecasted data and not the actuals data in the report.
How can we show to users in the web analysis reporting. Is there any approach to do at Cube level?
(Thing is that there should be a link between version and time)
Clear explenation: If we select particalar version number "v1003" ,the data must be displayed in the reports from current month to next 24 months,the before actuals must not be displayed.

Button of report in WEB UI Client not working.

Dear experts!
I program a report in SAP GUI. Display data by ALV grid using function module. Then, i create a button, when i click this button, program will call a function module to export data to excel. I fix the path to save file excel is on my local computer. I test in SAP GUI, these functions run very good. I create logical link to bring this report to WEB UI. But after i run this report, i click button to export data to excel, system has not any message and i follow the path i have fixed about, but i do not find the file excel.
Anyone can explain and resolve this problem with me?

Hi,
GUI methods for file handling do not work in the web session. The browser by itself has no access to the user's PC and this is on purpose for security reasons. You have options. You can create a SICF node to generate the report as a downloadable content or use activex objects to directly write files in user's PC or run a SAP GUI report in a background session.
