Create supplier, automatically create the same supplier as a customer

Dear all,
i'm using EBS R12.1.1, when i create any supplier, it shows the same supplier as a customer. how can i disable it? from which responsibility this option is?

You can set the value of the profile option AR: Show Parties Without Accounts In DQM to No, this will prevent supplier records from showing up in the customer search screens

Hi Friend,
Creating Infoobjects
1. Go to RSA1 -> Modelling tab.
2. Click on Infobjects.
3. Create a new Infoarea.
4. Now create Infoobject Catalog for Characterstics and Key Figures.
5. Now create Char Infoobject under Char Catalog and Key figure Infoobject under Key Figure catalog.
Creating Cubes:
1. Right click the info area and choose create info cube.
2. Select the type of cube you wish to create and comnfirm your selections.
3. The next screen is where you actually define the cube.
4. Now you will notice the difference.
5. Place your cursur on key fig and right click and chose infio object direct input; chose your key fig for the cube.
6. Similarly for the dimension; right click the dimension and chose inbfo object direct input, chose your chars and out them in dimension.
7. Activate the cube.
Creating a ODS is also the same.(in step 1 choose create ODS)
Creating Multicube/Multiprovider
1. Right click the info area - chose create multi provider.
2. select the cubes , DSOs, info objects that you need for the multi provider.
3. On the right side of the screen, you will see all the objects that you selected and open the key fig and dimension and drag the ones you need to define the multi provider.
4. Identify the chars and key figs.
5. Acvitate the mullti provider.
Why we create them ?
Infobjects : They are fields in R/3. As we require fields in R/3 tables we require infoobjects in BI.
ODS : This actually is like a table in R/3.
Cube : This contain the Key figures.(e.g Sales quantity, Amount etc)

          Try setting delay-updates-until-end-of-tx to false for your bean. Try experimenting
          with concurrency-strategy of Exclusive. Or re-write your code to not check for
          existence before creation; just create the bean and let the db return a duplicate
          key exception.

It appears there are two slideshows running in parallel where a mask that follows the mouse displays one of them. THe one you see in the moving mask is on top of the other.
If you were to search Google for a custom cursor tutorial you will probably end up with most of what you need for getting the mask to follow the mouse.

Without exact system info and version info nobody can tell you anything. From failed updates to simple compatibility issues and one of the machines not meeting the requirements for a newer version this could be anything.

How do I create a text field that automatically enters the same info on proceeding pages

I know this is a basic question for Acrobat Pro, but I'm a newbie at it. Basically, I work with pdf forms in education and I would like to figure out a way where if I enter for example someone's birthdate in page 1, and it automatically enters it in pages 2, 3, 4 and so on of the same document.
Also, along the same lines, is there an easy way to be able to edit multiple pages of a document at once. Example: A lot of the people at my office that use the copy and paste feature in the pdf documents, and often overlook changing the "he" to a "she" and "his" to a "her" and as a result we end up with filled forms that use the incorrect sex.

1. You can duplicate the field. Right-click it using the Select Object Tool and select Duplicate. You can then select the page range.
Otherwise, you can copy&paste it, or create a new field and give it the same name as the original.

Can you check whether you have setup the following profile options for that responsibility to see the created templates.
PA: Cross Project User -- Update
This option allow you to update the project with out assignment on the project.
PA: Cross Project User -- View
This option allow you to view the project templates by using that responsibility.

Hi all, if we want to send an IDOC from one R/3 system to another R/3 system type, should we have to create the IDOC type in one system, then repeate the steps in another system? If we don't have to, what shoud we do?

assuming you want to create a custom IDOC type and not use a standard one, you can create it in one system and then transport it to the other system using normal transport procedure (STMS).

style="width:195px"
and all the select list items will have the width of 195px.

System needs to approve automatically when the same user has different role

Hi Gurus,
My issue relates to approval in Shopping cart.
Say this is my Issue.
This is the Approval detemined by the system.
1 - X
2 - Y
3- Z
4- X
5- Y
X & Y are the Same user but with different role in the Approvals.
First time 'X' would get the cart to approve it manually but second time system should automatically approve it. Same should happen for 'Y' as well. So now both X & Y needs to approve the cart only once.
Please advice me how to approach this issue or If anyone experience the same kind of issue please let me know how to resolve.

Is it possible to have Firefox save PDFs and also open them automatically *at the same time*?

When I click on a link to download a PDF, I get a choice between opening the PDF (which then saves the PDF automatically to the Download folder) OR saving the PDF (which allows me to choose the location). But I would like to be able to do both things simultaneously: 1) choose where to save it on my hard drive, AND 2) have the PDF open automatically in my default PDF reader (which is Preview). Can I have my cake and eat it too? And if so, how?
Also, something weird just happened when I just opened my Firefox Preferences>Applications. When I originally selected Preview as my default, there were two different but seemingly identical boxes, one immediately above the other, for choosing a default for handling PDFs; now there is only one, which makes more sense, but something seems screwy. Not sure what is going on, or if it is related to my first question.

How do I get new pages in new tabs to automatically go the same setting as my home page? Google is my home page, and I want the opening in new tabs to default to Google also.

Whenever I open a new tab, I want the new page to open to the same setting as my Home Page (in my case, Google). Instead it takes me to Bing. Even my Home Page reverts to Bing after I've set it to Google.

The default New Tab in Firefox is a blank page and there is no built-in option to change that.
