Created two Elements For Accrual

Hi Genius
When we created Recurring Elements for Accrual we haven't checked the standard check box in the element link, which means it will not occur every month.
The problem is the client ran the payroll for last two months without attaching these two recurring accural elements.
Now I cannot check the standard check box. If it is possible to check the standard check box, do I need to change something in the fast formula.
Please share your ideas..

Accrual formulas are not processed in a payroll.
So I'm guessing, you can still go back to a past date and make the link a STandard one.
Try making the link a Standard link in a test environment and see if the Accrual balances are calculated correctly.
If everything is fine, then you can make the changes in Production.
If the above doesn't work, then you should manually adjust the accruals for the 2 months, by adding a new element which adds to the Accrual plan.
From the current month onwards, make the link a standard link(use Update mode on the element link).

    It is hard for me to give you a definitive answer since you have created a customized solution.
    How it is possible that we were able to place another PO? concern is that second PO was palced against SO which was already used & completed. they were able to place 2 POs for the same customer same delevery date. How it is possible?
    Normally, the system will not do this.  A third party PR or PO will be 'account assigned' to the Sales order.  SAP standard 3rd party will not create additional purchase reqs unless there has been manual intervention.  Try searching for changes in the Sales order and changes in the original purchase order.  They may give you a clue.
    I believe the normal Item category for third party SO is TAS (I am working from memory here, I am not in front of a system).  I don't know what ZTAG does.  I confess I am not an SD expert.  You might also want to post your question in an SD forum.
    You mention two custom applications, ZMMPLAN and ZSTPMP.  These somehow have functionality that is used to help you convert your PRs to POs.  If I were in your position, I believe I would also look at these applications for clues to how they might be contributing to your problem.  And please don't send me details about these apps.  I will not comment on custom code in this forum.

    whenever we create a profile
    duplicate results are coming whenever we search customers.
    In ProfileOutputConfig... i added a property memberId which will come from user subtype..

    As I found like one zone  below, I little bit confused that , if a host having two HBA connected with SAN, should I expect two zones for every Host?
    from the zone set, I gave the command show zoneset

    But I found only one zone for the server's HBA2:by the same time in the fabric I found switches A & B showing the WWNs of those HBAs on its
    connected N port...Its not only for this server alone, but for all hosts..Can you help me to clarify on this please..that should we need to create one zone for
    one HBA?

    if u have two independent fabrics between hosts and storage, i think the below confs are recommended.
    Scenario 1:  2 HBAs single port each ( redundancy across HBA / Storage port )
    HBA1 - port 0 ---------> Fabric A ----------> Storage port ( FAx/CLx )
    HBA2 - port 0 ---------> Fabirc B ----------> Storage port ( FAy/CLy )
    Scenario 2: 2 HBAs of dual port each
    HBA1 - port 0 -------> Fabric A ---------> Storage port ( FAx/CLx )
    HBA2 - port0 ---------> Fabric A ---------> Storage port ( FAs/CLs )
    HBA1 - port 1 --------> Fabric A --------> Storage port ( FAy/CLy )
    HBA2 - port 1 ---------> Fabric B --------> Storage port ( FAt/CLt )
    the zone which is in your output is VSAN 1. if its a production VSAN, Cisco doesn't recomends to use VSAN 1 ( default vsan ) for production.

    However by mistake, with out deleting the second tableu2026 the transport request is released and moved to quality system.
    how to handle this issue.

    Does one custom table more or less really matter?  If you really want delete it, delete the table in DEV which will put it into a new transport and get that transport moved to TEST.

  • How to create two respone for one request

    is there any way for us to create two response for one request
    the scenario is as below
    1. user click on update button for particular record in the datatable (
    after its get updated and status get updated = 'UPDATED' it will remove the object from ObjectListDataProvider and clear the tablePhaseListener ).
    2. After it gets updated successfuly , i want to prompt the user with generateExcel function which using response.getOutputStream() using Apache POI.
    How can we combine 1 and 2 together
    Here what i have tried and didnt work
    1. i tried to put the generateExcel function in destroy() method after page is rendered but it gives me Exception
    2. i tried to put the generateExcel function in prerender() method
    but the page will only execute the generateExcel function
    - the data still get updated to the database but it doesnt refresh the page ( i meant the removing object and tablephaseListener.clear() doesnt work )
    3 . i tried to put generateExcel Function after it process the data

         }This one also doesnt work and gives the same behaviour as number 2

    You can create many filters for one cube. I usually associate one group per filter and a user can have one or more groups assigned to them. Can't remember what happens when a user has access to conflicting filters (i.e. the order of preference). It is in the DBAG I am sure though.

So please help me cost elements needs to be created for following accounts:
    Price difference A/c
    Rounding off A/c
    Small difference A/c
    If i do not create it as cost element, will it effect my COPA / Product costing / Cost center planning.

    When your postings hit CO (COPA) from Billing the system is expecting the Real CO Object (e.g. Cost Centre, Internal Order, WBS, Profitabilit Segment etc) to be Profitability Segment.
    The RWIN interface (program group that posts to FICO - includes COPA) is checking and finding that there are Cost Elements created for the 'account determination' (accounts determined in Billing) that have a Cost Element category of 1 and I assume that you have determined these postings should go to COPA. Thus the error.
    For CE Cat 1 (Primary costs/cost-reducing revenues) the system expects a Cost Object that is not a Profitability Segment.
    The solution is to not create them or to use CE Cat 11 or 12 which allows Prof Segment.
    Take into account the fact that if you are using the Reconciliation Ledger then CE Cat 11 or 12 should be used (i.e. adding the REAL (not statistical) postings in COPA + Cost Centre Accounting + WBS + Internal Orders = FI P&L).
    Please test the use of CE Cat 11 or 12. The problem is that if you have already posted to the old CE's you will need to create new ones as you can't change CE cat once posted to.
    The Business Analyst Question would be: Where does the Business want to see the REAL postings of Price Difference, Rounding Off and Small Difference? In COPA (then see above explanation - I would assume the Business want it here) or in Cost Centres (adjust your config and use CE cat 1).

  • Creating two users for one desktop Address Book

    I apologize for posting this more than once but I haven't received a response and I think perhaps the first post was not in the right place.
    Why is it not easier to create two Groups under the common AB rather than creating two users and exporting/importing files? I read an earlier question from someone who needed two ABs for two users but didn't want to do two Groups yet it seems so easy to do.
    I created a Group called 'Dedo'; highlighted, dragged and dropped, the entire All listing in AB. I then edited out the names I don't need by Remove From Group (under AB, Edit). The Group-edited names still remain in the ALL listing on the desktop AB. I then synced only the selected groups I wanted to my iPhone, including 'Dedo'. It created a new All Contacts and all the groups I selected.
    I can create a second group called 'Speedo' for the other user, drag & drop All from the desktop AB, and they can edit from 'Speedo' the names they don't want, and sync their groups to their iPhone. Again, the All Contacts are still intact on the desktop AB for reference to info we might want occasionally but don't need on our phones.
    So .............. what's the downside to what otherwise seems like an easy fix? What am I not seeing?

    No one responded. However, dividing the names of interest to each of us into two groups seems to be working well. We sync the particular group we want to our individual iPhone and don't bear the burden of having many, many names we don't want in our own personal contacts.

    You don't have to do anything with the first iPod that you don't use anymore. If you are planning on keeping it, put in a drawer in your house and forget about it.
    You don't need a second account to use with the new iPod. I use one Appl e ID and iTunes library for two iPods, and two iPad. I have different content on all four devices. You can select exactly what you want to sync to each device and it can be different content on all devices.

    I created some interactive elements in a CS4 document and ticked 'Interactive elements' in the options box on the PDF General dialog box, and the buttons do what they should when the resulting PDF. But when I try to create a PDF with this file in CS5, the buttons aren't working. Is there another setting I am missing? The Interactive Elements option is set to 'Include appearance'.

    You will need to make an Interactive PDF.
    Some wise guys at adobe decided to separate PRINT and INTERACTIVE pdf settings.
    Choose File>Export and select PDF (interactive)

  • When not to create cost elements for P&L accounts? Implications?

    I noticed some P&L gl accounts are not created as cost elements eg. R&D expense, COGS (posted during SD delivery), sales (posted during SD billing), freight charges, production variance (posted during prod.order settlement), etc.. I'm thinking if cost elements are not created, FI and CO will not reconcile.
    Example of our SD delivery posting :
    Debit   COGS (sales order assignment)
    Credit    Stock
    From above posting, there is amount posted to COGS gl account but no CO assignment except for sales order. Is there supposed to be a follow-up to this posting to reconcile FI with CO ? Or is our setup wrong?
    Fyi we do not use CO-PA.

    Hi,
    Sorry, I probably confused things by mentioning Revenue. Your settings are correct, with Revenue defined as a revenue element (11) rather than a cost element (1).
    With respect to WIP (P&L), I would create it as a cost element, since it represents the absorption of cost centre costs and materials into the production of goods, even though the goods are not yet complete. When the goods are completed they will be credited in CO-OM and debited to stock using a similar entry. The impact of these credits (to WIP or to Stock) is to move costs out of CO-OM into the goods produced (CoGS). In CO-OM, the net result of Costs less credits to WIP/Stock, indicates the efficiency of your cost centres or the accuracy of your standards.
    I would also create the manufacturing variance accounts as Cost Elements and settle them back to your production costs centres (or possibly CO-PA if you used it), since they are also a reflection of the efficiency of your cost centres - i.e. if a Cost Centre manager is not achieving the standards, (s)he should be accountable for the variance, and if you are concerned about reconciling CO-OM and the costs in P&L, you won't reconcile if the variances aren't posted back to CO.
