Creating a 3rd Party Payment

Hi,
Can someone please explain the process of creating a 3rd party payment? I understand I need to run payroll for that employee but then what? Any help would be greatly appreciated and points will be rewarded!
Thank you!!

What kind of third party payment do you mean? Is it some payment for child support or some credit card payments or payments on some court orders etc.? These kind of payments are done using the Garmishments. You should configure the garnishment document and Garnishment Order infotypes, and also configure the Third Party remittance so that you can pay the amounts deducted from the employee's salary as garnishment payment to the third party using the third party remittance process.

  • 3rd party payment integration with ADF application

    Hi ADF experts,
We have a requirement to integrate our ADF application with 3rd party payment gateway.
For this we have created 2 servlets(one to post data, and one for relay response) which will talk to payment gateway.
Since we are using servelts, we wont have access to bindings or any of ADF features. We manage the handshake between servlets and ADF app by passing data through session variables.
I am not happy with this solution, even though it works in our test environment. I would prefer a complete ADF soultion rather than using servelts/jsps.
Is there a standard way(either inbuilt in ADF or extensions) to integrate 3rd party gateway with ADF application which is safe and secure?
    Jdev used: 11.1.1.1.5
    Payment gateway used: authorize.net
    thanks

You can access adf application module from a servlet. All you have to do its to setup a pagedef for the servlet.Check out my blog http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/jdev11-1-2-1-0-handling-imagesfiles-in-adf-part-3/ Which shows how to do this.
I'm not aware of standard integration to a payment service.

  • RFC destination error in posting 3rd party payment in 4.7 FI system

    Hi,
We are running in to a problem when we are processing a payment via transaction F110S in our R/3 4.7 system for Financials. We are integrating our Financial system with ECC6.0 for HCM. We receive 3rd party invoice from HCM successfully via ALE and post it in 4.7 system. When we try to process payment against this invoice, apparently 4.7 system is trying to communicate with ECC 6.0 system and issuing an error and the payment processing gets cancelled. It generates a clearing document with out a check.
The error says "An RFC destination could not be specified for the logical system HD1CLNT014
        Message no. B1550
    Diagnosis
An RFC destination should be specified for the logical system
HD1CLNT014. This could not be done in this case. HD1CLNT014 is not your
local logical system and this system is not included in the relevant
        Customizing tables.
    Procedure
        Check:
            -   RFC destination
               -Port definition
-oubound partner profile of message type SYNCH for this logical system
We checked our configuration for all Logical system and RFC destination and everything seems fine.
Any help in this regard is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Kesav

    Hi David,
Did you check below is set-up correctly.
    - Use transaction SM59 to create an RFC destinations for the remote system.
    - Use transaction BD54 to create the logical system.
    - Use transaction BD97 to link the RFC destination created in SM59 with the logical system created in BD54.
Also, check entries in TBLSYSDEST is  filled with correct system name HPQCLNT210. Generally this error occurs when system name is incorrect in TBLSYSDEST.

  • IPayment with 3rd Party payment system

    Hi All,
I have to configure iPayment with the third party payment system. the 3rd party talks with the Paymentech for credit card processing.
    Here in this case,
    1. 3rd party server is providing web services to talk with them
    2. 3rd party server is working fine with the Paymentech
    Issues
    1. As per my understanding, I have to use Gateway model overhere. Correct me if I am worng?
    2. Do I need to create any configuration servlet to talk with 3rd party server or is there any other way?
    3. At which point I should call the web services provided by 3rd party?
    4. How to create request as per the web service requirements and how to solve the response provided by web services?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
If your third party system talks with Payment Tech, Is it possible for you to confiure payment Tech directly with iPayment. As you know that oracle provides all the necessary confguration and servelt. Its pretty striagt forward and simple.
Find out whether you can use payment tech directly, that should solve most of your issues. If you need more information, let me know

  • How to Prevent Workflow when Automatic PO created in 3rd Party Sales

    Hello,
We have set up a special Sales Document Type for the purpose of 3rd party sales. The item category is TAS, so the Purchase requisition gets created automatically.
The problem is that when the Sales Order is saved, it starts a Business Workflow and sends an email to our EDI Technical Team.  We want to disable the workflow functionality in this sales document because it is not needed.
Is there a way to disable ALE for a sales document type?
    Thanks very much!

    Hi,
Please review the following notes for more information:
550388     FAQ: Customizing of third-party and individual Pos
    210997     Accnt assignmt categoriesin third-party and indiv.P
On creating Purchase order for requirement created for a customer sales order stock, if the customer sales order stock is not valuated, this means a Consumption ( GBB ) account is involved here. If the posting is a consumption account, SAP allows the user to decide whether it should be autotmatically or manually entered. Because of this option, system need this account to be set with Field 'Automatic posting only' to ' '.
With this field  'Automatic posting only' setting to ' ', whether the account can be automatically or manually entered is then controlled by the field status in the PO creation. If you do not want the user to enter the account manually, then this account should be set to display mode in PO.
If the customer sales order stock is valuated, then in General business process, this would involve a BSX ( material account )
postings. Normally this is automatically derived during PO creations. No manual enterring is allowed. Thus if it is correct to set this account with field Automatic posting only' setting to 'X' in FI settings.
    Please read the note 37563.
Please check if note 842977 is present in your system.

  • Submitting 3rd party payment garnishments via ACH file format

Our Payroll Services is required by leglistation to submit child support garnishments electronically.  We wish to submit the employee garnishment details in an ACH file format.
Do we have the ability to specifiy which details from IT0194 and IT0195 get created in the ACH file?  If so how?
I have not been able to find this solution in configuration or a user exit.  Is a customization required or a BADI?
We have been able to generate a Remittance Table  from the 3rd Party Remittance Evaluation Run, but it shows a number of unnecessary and blank fields.  We need other data, such as the Case Identifier Number, Employee Name, SSN, Status, Vendor ID, Order Type, Deduction $ Amount, etc...
    Thank you.

    Hi Manny,
    A couple of more questions:
    1. You mention PMW calls a function module which retrieves the HR info and fills the addenda garnishment info.  Which function module is this?
    2. You suggest we copy the standard format ACH and modify it.  Which one is the "standard" and how do we modify it?  Does this involve a user exit? Or is it just the configuration steps mentioned above?  Can you provide more specific instructions on the config?
    3.  Can we produce multiple emplooyee garnishment info detailed records in one ACH file or is it one ACH file per employee?
    4.  About how long would this take to configure and set up?
    5.  We are able to generate an ACH CCD file, but we cannot get the SSN or Case ID to appear.  Instead of these details, we seem to receive an SAP system generated HR ID for the record.
Thanks very much for looking into this.

  • 3rd party order quesiton

    For the 3rd party
Normally when we create the 3rd party order system automatically  create the PR ,Next to create the PO.and if we change the data(quantity / deliver date) in the sales order the  system will  automatically made the information date in the  PR.
    Question :
1:PO created .if we change the data(quantity / deliver date) in the sales order can the system automatically made the changed data in to the PO? If can ,how to do?
2: PO created, if we change the data(quantity / deliver date) in the PO can the system automatically made the changed data in to the sales order? If can ,how to do?
    Thanks very much

    Based on your query,
Q1:PO created .if we change the data(quantity / deliver date) in the sales order can the system automatically made the changed data in to the PO? If can ,how to do?
Answer: Its is not possible for PO. But, when you make any change in the quantity at sales order level.and save the same, then there will be corresponding change in PR (only before creating PO with reference to the PR).
2: PO created, if we change the data(quantity / deliver date) in the PO can the system automatically made the changed data in to the sales order? If can ,how to do?
Answer: If make any changes in PO-Third party for quantities and the same quantities are GR & IR, then those quantities will be updated into sales invoice but there will be no change in Sales order. So, if your customer is ready to take increased quantities as compared to what they have ordered, then you can directly invoice them for the increased quantities. For making any other changes after you ave created a PO, at sales order level even you manually update quantities, for updated quantities the system will generate another PR for the increased quantities.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Departure country determination for 3rd party sales order

    Hello,
We are creating a 3rd party sales order and using dummy plants and dummy shillping point. we do not have plants abroad activated.
While creating the intercompany billing doc the departure country is not picked up correctly since we have dummy plant and shipping point.
We want the departure country to be same as suppliers country. and we do not know the supplier details at the point of sales order creation.
what can we do to get the correct departure country during intercompany billing?
    Regards,
    Shilpa

You can go through OSS  Note 308989 - Consulting note for cross-company transactions, which provides details on cross-company with 3rd party sales process. Make sure that the delivery plant added in the sales order is assigned to the cross company code.

  • Credit Blocked 3rd Party Sales Order confirm quantity change discrepancy

    Hi,
I am facing the below 3rd party SO qty change issue. Please check and advise me.
    Step 1:
Created one 3rd Party SO for item A - 10 qty.
    Step 2:
PO is created with reference of PR number (item A- 10 qty).
    Setp 3:
Again I am changing the SO item A qty from 10 to 20 (i.e. SO value is increased).
Due Sales order value increase the credit check performed and due to customer credit
limit the system shown Static Credit Block message (SO  blocked for Credit approval).
    Setp 4:
I have saved the SO with the Credit Block message (still SO Credit Blocked).
    Issue :
I have not released the Credit block in SO, Even the system has updated the SO confirmation qty as 20
and subsequent PR and PO also changed from 10 to 20 qty.
    Regards
    Baskar

See, the Credit Management System is designed to work in the SD side & not on the MM side.
Once PR is created, it is updated every time Tird party Sales Order changed which is basic requirement.
Once PR is created / updated, system (Credit Management) cannot the creation of PO & subsequent documents. This is becaus Credit Management is desinged to block creation of Sales Order, Delivery Document & PGI & nothing more.
That is why I suggested you to go to Z-Development & apply a User Exit.
    Hope this clarifies.

  • Quality Inspection and COA for 3rd Party Drop Ship Vendor

The scenario is as follows: We will be using a 3rd party vendor to fulfill certain materials directly to our customers. The vendor will be sending us a sample from each production run to run our own analysis  against the batch. I am wondering the best way to capture this data against the material and plant? Can we do it per run, capturing the data against a batch or do we have to capture the data per good receipt (in this case statistical)?

    Hi Balaji

  • 3rd Party RetroTaxes - After Organization Assignment Transfer

    Hello All,
We have an issue with posting 3rd party retro tax payments when an employee transfer from one company/payroll area to another company /payroll area. For example, we have a employee transfer from "old" company code 2008/Payroll area U1 to "new" company code 2009/Payroll area U2. The employee has retro taxes from the "old" company which needs to be posted; because the employee has transferred to the "new" company code; the system has issues mapping the retro taxes to the correct company code, vendor, and HR payee.  I have this issue despite the system been configured with the correct mappings for both company codes.  Also, I discovered the system will not allow multiple mapping of the same wage type too.
Has anyone experienced this issue?  I need to help. Willing to grant reward points for a helpful answer.
    Kind Regards,
    Brenda Goodwin

Thanks Arti,  your resolution is helpful if the payroll dept knows there is going to be a retro adjustment coming through which took effect in the previous tax company.
How do you catch all retro tax payments that that ocurr due to a change in a employee's record that is effective in the pass which causes a retro to the employee's taxes in the previous tax company?  The payroll don't know there is a retro until they exit payroll and then, start processing the 3rd party payments.  They run into the issue of the system not linking the retro tax amount to the correct company code, vendor and HR payee for posting.

  • Automatic determination of Item Category -3rd Party Process

    Hi Guru's,
Can we set a material as a third party material for a particular customer?
Say aaa,bbb customers, and material xxx.
When i create a sale order for the customer aaa, material xxx should have the item category as TAN.
But for the customer bbb, the item category should be TAS, which will be automatically come without any manual change in sale order...
Is there any configuration related to this. i.e., by changing a customer item category should be changed?
If we maintain a different order type for the customers, that time it will act as per my requirements..
Is there any way other than this?

    hello, friend.
determining item category using order type is your best bet (e.g. if doc type CMR and item category grp BANS, propose TAS; if doct type ZMR and item category grp BANS, propose ZTAN).
if you do not wish this, my suggestion is to create a new sales distribution chain (sales org + distribution channel), and create your customer in this new sales area (chain + material division).  you then create the 3rd party material in the new distribution chain, and enter the item category group.
let's say you have the following sales areas:
sales org + dist chnl + divi
    1000 + 01 + 01
    1000 + 02 + 01
you then create material in these 2 sales areas.  now let's say you have 2 customers:
aaa - material shld have item cat TAN (create customer master in sales area 1000 + 01 + 01)
bbb - material shld have item cat TAS (create customer master in sales area 1000 + 02 + 01)
now create material in the 2 dist chains
    1000 + 01, item cat grp NORM
    1000 + 02, item cat grp BANS
of course, this means more master data maintenance.  however, try this and see if this works for you.
    regards.

  • Is it the case that I can't back up all my files (including those created with third party software) to iCloud as I did with iDisk?

It seems as if icloud only wants me to save files to iCloud that I create with a few iCloud compatible apps (mail, pages, numbers, keynote). I used iDisk as an off-site back up for many of my most important files, including those created with 3rd party apps. Is it the case that I can no longer do that?

There are a number of alternatives to iDisk for file storage, most of them much faster. This page examines some of them:
