Creating a forms program listing
Is there a way to generate a listing of the code just for triggers and program units? I've tried File=>Administration=>Object List Report but it creates much more than I am looking for. I am also looking for a way to create a cross reference of the forms we have with what tables each one uses. Any suggestions?
You can't do what you want to do inside iWeb. You
can modify the html on a published page to add stuff,
but this will be erased if you edit the page inside
iWeb and republish, so the modification would need to
be repeated each time.
Yeah, I have pretty much discovered this. Very disappointing though as forms are really a basic feature. I hope this is something Apple can add in later. I will probably edit my code to include such things in GoLive. Now I just need to get a good book on CSS as it is much different trying to manipulate CSS code in GoLive than regular HTML output.

Per my understanding, you want to create a New Form for creating sub tasks.
By default, the subtasks can only be created in the datasheet view, which means that there are some fields of a task cannot be filled in when subtask created, what’s
more, there is no OOTB feature can meet this requirement.
Actually, a subtask is also a normal task, the difference is that it can be connected with the parent task through a property “ParentID”. Let’s say if there is a task
with “ID” 1, then the “ParentID” of its subtasks will be “1;#1”.
Thus, as a workaround, you can create a custom New Form page with the extra “ParentID” field to be filled in. After submitting, a new task will be created, because
the “ParentID” has a value which points to another task, this new task will be a subtask now. This can be done with Client Object Model programmatically.

My table has a list of names with product information in corresponding columns. I want to create a form that I can import this into where every row makes a new part of the form list I create. Is this possible?
Example of what I have in excel:

I created a form with Single Choice fields, 4 days with times listed. But, I want the user to only be able to choose one time, and the time chosen to be unavailable for other users. How do I do this? I have 4 blocks of Single Choice fields in order for the summary page to give me each day in the final report. But, I need the user to be able to make a selection of any day and time and that apointment to no longer be available to future users when they log in. Plus, when the user clicks on the time, they are unable to change their mind and choose another time. I'm afraid not. It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder. Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
<form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
I'm assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code. Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names. It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

Creating a form to Add List Item and to a Document Library
Hi, I'm super new to sharepoint , and have what is probably a newbie question.
I have a list and a document library. The documents are linked to the items in the list. (1 list item may have one or moe documents associated with it).
I need to create a form to add new list items that will at the same time upload documents to the document library.
Do I use infopath for that?

According to your description, when adding a new item to the current list, you might want to upload the attachments of this item to other Document Library as well.
As a workaround, you can create an Event Receiver to capture the event when there is “An item was added”. In the Event Receiver, we can write C# code to copy the attachments
from a list item to a Document Library.

Select list in a manually created tabular form
I created a select drop down item in a manually created tabular form. When I run the page, it also shows the null value '%'. How do I edit this?
This is the line I am using in the SQL:
htmldb_item.select_list_from_query(34,IN_PGRS_STAT_DSC,'select distinct STAT_DSC, STAT_DSC from PROJECT_STATUS_REF') IN_PGRS_STAT_DSC,And the select list doesn't work. It gives me an error message if I have the form to display one extra empty record and the select list. But even with the select list, if I don't include the extra row, it works properly.

No, I have not added any fields or done any modifications of any kind to the form.
I am doing exactly these steps:
Open SPD
Create a New Custom List
Open List in SPD
Click "Design Forms in InfoPath" (Item)
Form opens in InfoPath 2013
Click Publish (or Quick Publish...doesn't matter)
See error message

We now use Acrobat xi for special active forms we created that include certifications and signature fields, some of the forms are programmed to create other forms, will we have a problem upgrading to DC

Restrict list of Organizations on Create User form
Running OIM 11.1.1.5.0.
We have a couple of companies using our OIM for delegated administration. In the Create User form, if the user searches for an organization they see a list of all of our organizations not just the ones that they can place a user in.
If they place a user in an organization that is not in their auth policy they receive an error:
"You are either not authorized to create user in XXX organization or not authorized to create user in XXX organization without specifying a value for manager."
Is there any way to restrict the list of organizations in the search to the list in their auth policy?I have have this:
Company A
-- Department A1 (although these are actually set as Organization type Company in OIM)
-- Department A2
Company B
-- Department B1
User Management Auth Policy for AdminA:
-- Data Constraint - Users who are members of Department A1, A2
But when AdminA uses Create User he gets a list of all Company and Department names in the Organization search popup.
Do I take it from your reply that this is supposed to work and it's something that I have setup incorrectly then?

Creating custom form with content type list - Shaepoint 2013 list
Hi All,
I have a list with a content type. So basically i have the default content type and another custom one.
I would like to customize the forms and taught of using sharepoint designer.
Is this a good approach or is it better using infopath.
When i try using infopath i don't know how i can using content type to create forms.
I basically have 2 forms based on the content types how can i separate this when using custom forms and what would be the best practice?

According to your description, you want to create a form for each content type in a custom list with multiple content types. Is it right?
If we use Infopath to customize forms for a list with multiple content types, it only customizes the default content type, the forms for other content types don't have changes.
For your requirement, I suggest you use SharePoint Designer to create forms for content types.

I am attempting to create a fully-interactive PDF form, using an MS Word Document which I created using Word 2007 on my system, which is Windows Vista Home Premium. I want the colleagues to whom I send this form to be able to complete it on line, and return it to me by e-mail. I have tried to do this in 2 ways:
I have opened the MS Word document, clicked on Acrobat, Create PDF, and in the window entitled Save Adobe PDF file as: I selected Fully Functional PDF and indicated that the resulting file be saved on my Desktop. It appears that the process does complete, but I can find the resulting file NOWHERE on my system. I've searched in every way possible, and find only a shortcut to the new file, but not the file itself. I obtain an error message when I click on this shortcut!
I have also opened my Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional software, and selected Create PDF, from file. I selected the correct file, and the conversion process began. After 10% of the conversion was complete, the following message appeared: "PDF Conversion process failed; please correct the error and retry". However, I have no idea what the "error" is, so I cannot comply!
The form I am working with is NOT a template, but one I have created. My needs are not met by any of the available templates available within the program. I am at a loss for a solution, and hope that someone on this forum can help me.please delete me from your mailing list. tks.
