Creating an email inside DPS without the prompt "Are you sure you want to leave..."?

In my search to insert a button that creates an email, I found this spectacularly helpful article by jlockman
Sending email and email attachments from DPS publications
Using his code as a template, I was able to do exactly what I wanted. Now my article contains a web overlay button that creates an email filled with everything we wanted (to:, subject:, body...) Now we are wondering: Can we disable the prompt that comes up? "Are you sure you want to leave this application to send an email?"

Unfortunately, Erin, the OS will always warn you when an app attempts to direct you somewhere outside of the app. This is a security measure so that apps can't hijack or spoof you.

After the data is displyed on the text fields from the database
Are you displaying data through querying the base table through execute_query (or similar built-ins) or are you populating the block programatically?
In case you are querying the record, then form should not display save confirmation dialog box.
If you are populating the data block programatically and if the block is a database block then try including this as the last statement of your populating logic: -
set_record_property(:system.cursor_record,<block_name>,status,query_status);

Computer is automatically prompting "Are you sure you want to shut down....

On friday i posted that the iBook was restarting itself, now it is getting a tad bit clearer, sometimes when I boot up, i can hear the chime several times, sometimes it will make it to the desktop and then shut off immediately. Then I noticed while i used Word the prompt "Are your sure you want to shut down..." I pressed cancel. 5 seconds later, the same. Thats when I realized, there must be something wrong with the iBook that is either giving the command to shut down or that the button is...faulty?. I press the button and the prompt does appear, but, the button feels firm. Like most Mac users I pamper my mac, and nothing rattles inside. What can be happening? How can I diagnose what is wrong. I have tons of work and I don't feel like dropping the iBooK at Apple right now.

Sounds like a hardware issue to me, as did your first post. I know you don't want to but I think your best bet is to take it to the shop. First though, I would try and backup everything I could.

Conversion without the prompt to save

Hello, prompt on the situation - in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro via master operations want to convert a lot of doc files to pdf. Opt for a folder with doc files starting the conversion process, but after the conversion of each document issued query "Save it or not" (attached screenshot). How do I make after converting one file passed to the next conversion without the prompt to save? To the process of creating pdf files was fully automated? Operation "Save" I added

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Great tip from dorothy. Also, some isp services are more aggressive from others in filtering what they think might be spam. You might check your spam file from a computer, and see if the verification e mails are sitting there. When i wen through the process, the verification e mail came to the new e mail address in under a couple of minutes.

If javascript can no longer be disabled - how do I leave a website that asks the "are you sure you want to leave this site" pop up question without a yes choice

Given that the turn off javascript option will be disabled - how do I close a page that does not allow me to leave by giving a "are you sure you want to leave" pop up question but then redirects to itself where it again asks that question perpetually?
The only way to kill a page like that sofar was to disable javascript and then close the tab.
Now I will have to close the browser - and possibly loose all the tabs I have open.
I want a javascript quick switch - allowing me to easily disable javascript for any page at will.
(esp for some of my older, slower netbooks)
Or at least a "FORCE CLOSE" option for malicious webpages.

Hi ronc2, there isn't a specific setting for this. Firefox's built-in JavaScript settings allow you to control several aspects of scripts*, but unfortunately not this one.
I previously tried to find some other options for individually turning off this event, but I couldn't find a way. Someone might be able to create an add-on to solve this problem, but it will take someone cleverer than I.
Extensions that disable scripts on a site-specific basis:
* If you regularly visit some sites which do this, you can block JavaScript on that specific site using the YesScript extension. Unfortunately, other script-based functionality will be blocked as well.
* YesScript does not preemptively block scripts on every site. If you have to visit a lot of random sites and want to take a paranoid approach of having scripting blocked until you see as much of the site as you can see without running scripts, then the NoScript extension would be for you. But even then it's "all or nothing".

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

This only works for Apple Mail. If you have a different client, you need to find the settings for it.

Sounds like your phone is carrier locked, presumably to a service provider in France. There is no way to use it with another carrier unless you can contact the original carrier and get them to unlock it. Only the carrier it is locked to can authorize an unlock - some will unlock some won't.
As far as using it jailbroken, you will not get support for that here.

If I make a post on my Facebook timeline that contains a link, when I hit "Post" and the page goes to refresh to add my post to my timeline, it asks if I'm sure I want to leave the page. I've seen that messages on some sites before, for example, if I'm on a forum and I write a post and go to leave the page before hitting submit, it'll ask me that, but I've never seen it on Facebook until a couple of days ago.
Is there any way to turn this message off? Or even better, can it be turned off just on Facebook? Thanks.
