Infopath form won't open from a URL, opens fine from form library.

I have built a request process using SharePoint 2007 and InfoPath 2010 and a custom workflow designed in SPD.
Everything works perfectly fine within the form library. However, I would prefer not to have my requestors go to the form library so I created a link to the form template.
The issue is that when i try the URL to the form template, the form opens but throws an error that it cannot retrieve data for the form. This process is and will only be used internally, so
I am having trouble understanding why this is happening.
Error message (company names substituted in URL).
Form template URL:

The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: Access Requestors (An SP List of users)

From what i have seen in the past, i would have expected a security pop up before the form opened. I am thinking this may be part of the problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.

This filler or the client, I don't think it makes much difference. What is puzzling me and is the root of my initial question: Everything works perfectly fine if the user (requestor) goes
to the SharePoint site opens the form library and click on the "New" button. The form opens in the InfoPath client and loads the data connections without issue. The entire process works fine from here and there is no issue.
This issue is, if I send any of the users a direct link to the form template, it opens in the (InfoPath) client as it is supposed to, but will not load the data connection. I get the error
messages stated in my original question stated above. Additionally, I have the option selected to store the data in the form. Once I suppress the error message, the data is not in the form template. There is no problem opening the form, just loading the data
connection.
I would like to find a solution to this although it is not tragic if I don't. I would rather not have the users (requestors) going directly to the form library if I can help it. It seems strange
to me that this doesn't work because all the users are in the same environment as the SharePoint site. It is only used internally by authenticated users.

Hi,
I think what you're seeing is caused by the following two facts
- a user must have the manage scheduler system privilege to stop a job with force=>true
- definer's rights pl/sql stored procedures don't honour system privileges granted through roles. See

The simplest solution is to grant MANAGE SCHEDULER directly to the definer of the definer's rights stored procedure.

InfoPath form won't open in browser

I've been searching for hours for a solution but I can't get it right..
I've a form library with InfoPath 2010 forms. The forms are browser enabled. Library settings -> display form as webpage.
But when users click on the form, Internet Explorer asks them to open or save the file. He wants to open the form in InfoPath, but I want it to show in the browser!
When I investigate the link, I found this: OpenIn=PreferClient
How can I force to open the forms in the browser?

Sorry, I missed that sentence somehow. :)
In form options of the Form Template XSN itself, under Compatibility make sure Web Browser Form is selected as Form Type.
Aside from that puzzling. If no other option can be found, script to change the property in the link would be a hack option.
I checked a form library I have here and there is no OpenIn property at all.
Can I just confirm you're opening pre-filled forms not creating new ones with this link?

When opening an InfoPath form InfoPath states "list does not exist" in production, opens fine in test. NaN issue with Auto Increment

Hello all. I have an InfoPath form that opens from the test server fine. However, when I try to open it in Production I receive the following SOAP response.
"The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:
Server was unable to process request. ---> List does not exist.
The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user. ---> List does not exist.
The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user."
I am trying to fix an auto generated form field for the web part that runs the my Project Management list. In test the increment by 1 works fine. I.E. "LEAD-2015-5". In Prod the list is returning NaN ( Not a Number ) for each project
id. I.E. "LEAD-2015-NaN"
The list is in Standard View when I edit the web part/page.
Any help is much appreciated. As a developer I despise SharePoint, but I have to do what I have to do! :)

If you are trying to get max item id from list then it returns "NaN" if there is no item. If you have items in prod list then open your form in IP designer and check the data connection. Make sure that all data connection links are referring to
prod links.
Also make sure that user is having at least read permission to that list to access data so verify this also.

Acrobat 9 Form won't mail from Vista- help please?

Id like to thank all past help from the forum. Sorry I haven't written my gratatude before this. That doesn't mean I don't apreciate the help. I've gone from one super frustrated and dissapointed user to someone slowly begining to apreciate exactly what Adobe 9 Pro really is, mainly from what I've picked up in this forum.
So far I've managed to make a registeration form that can be e-mailed to people, they fill it in and click the send button and I get it back. When it arrives, it even updates the database properly. I'm so proud about this achievment too... Except for when a Windows Visa and probably Windows 7 user tells me it doesn't work. They report an error when trying to send the form back! Grrrrr. What have I done wrong?
Just when I thought I was doing so well, this happens. It's been very hard for me to learn the fundamentals of Acrobat 9 Pro at an age when most people around where I live are struggling to understand how to program their microwave! -- Well not quite but I'm sure you get the meaning.
When I get a problem like this all I think of is that if I took the time to understand what I was doing it wouldn't happen. Then I wonder if maybe an easier solution exists. When I calm down and realise there are still some people in the world who are willing to help and not trash your efforts, I'm sure someone here will know the answer and hopefully, point me to it.
Once again, thanks for the help in getting me going with this software. I'm glad now I didn't buy some cheap clone stuff.

I'm unsure if I can post a link here to the form. But I'll give you a run down. I used the "forms" selection of Acrobat 9 Pro to create a registeration form. It can be downloaded from my web site and sometimes we attach it to an email. Interested people fill in the form (at this stage it is being seen with acrobat reader in a web browser). There is a purple line at the top of the form with instructions to click submit form to return the completed form.
The form is "distributed" although I'm unsure what Adobe mean by this description. My guess is that the return end that does the record keeping is activated.
I might point out that I've had a lot of problems with forms and the Adobe solution is one my instructor at night school suggested. I thought offering the ability to return it by email or if that didn't work, print it and fax it back was enough until I learn a better way of doing it.
Although this looks like quite an nice way to do it, the delay in loading the form is one issue I am concerned with and the fact at least 4 of my 40 replies (so far) have had to fax it bothers me. I'm open to any suggestion (costly or otherwise) that is going to overcome this problem as forms become more and more important for my operations.

Hello Everbody,
well, you know it and everybody should avoid it. You have some huge amout of Test Cases and all go well, so you declare a Project to "Production ready" and then you found out something doesnt work, like happen now at my side.
We have a InfoPath Form, which is beeing used as Template in a SharePoint Form Library. We have also a Nintex Workflow which asked different People to "approve" or "reject" a form if a new one was submitted. All that works now like a charm BUT, we have also a Field in the Form where you can Add Attachments. Its the Regular "File Attacment" of the "File and Picture" Design Task Window from InfoPath in Designer Mode. So nothing spezial coded or something like that.
As long a user has Write permissions, he can open those Attachments which are included in the Form (like they should), but in the moment the User has only 'Read' Permissions he CANT Read the Attachment anymore... no iam in a huge mess, its not absolut cirital But the biggest Problem at my ToDo List now so i would be really happy if someone can tell me there is a way out of this situation instead of (and so i think) this isnt a bug/problem - its a feature (you know those sentences...).
We cant give everbody just their Write Permissions back of those file because they are 'finally' approved and should only be archived for later reviews if needed. But therefore its good to let those reviewer read those Attachments to.

btw. i've found some information about this isue, and it seems that i am right - its a Feature , not a bug ...
i have to set every Item in my ReadOnly view to "read only", disable all options to the user to edit something and then uncheck the ReadOnly Attribute of the View self. If i also uncheck the permission for the viewing user to add/delete Attachment he can still open the attachments.
BUT, what about Checkboxes ? And Drop Down 's ?
Okay, all drop down windows kann be replaced by normal textboxes with the same Data Source, but what about Check Boxes? There is no option to make it Read Only "in reference" of the current view. Now, i could easly (maybe, only theoretical) create a function which writes into a field the current Viewname and makes all Checkboxes ReadOnly if the View has a proper name. The Problem, in the second the user is opening the form the old value of the "View" Field was (for example) German View, so the function is replacing this text with "ReadOnly" which means the user HAS changed already something on the Form. If he no tries to close the form - he will be asked if he want save those changes (which he cant because he has only ReadOnly permissions on the file) but instead of saving those Changes it generates a NEW submitted Form which is a fallout in this szenario.
So what now ? Any tipps ?

1)If you have any parameters that needs to be passed to build that dynamicURL, just set a propertyListener on the column attribute and get the value.
2)Then on the af:commandLink action, build your dynamicURL with the required parameters.
3) If you URL is all together a different application which doesn't share your transaction, you can open it as below
In the below code, urlWithParams will be your dynamicURL.

Try running Pandora in its own tab and leaving that tab open (Safari 7.1.5, OS 10.9.5). I don't have Pandora to try this, but it works for me otherwise.

i am trying to open an xml file from a URL.
i have been using the standard (i think!) xml suite, part of the System Events. is this possible? is this the best way? are there alternatives? any good tutorials of how to use it too?

I Nearly bought from Amazon too but I found a thread from Adobe stating that the only recognized outlet for lightoom is themselves and other outlets serial numbers will not be guaranteed.

Adobe interactive form(ABAP WD)size is increasing & not opening from EP UWL

Adobe interactive form (ABAP WD) size is increasing after cleansing data from MDM and the form is not opening from portal UWL.
Same application is working fine in Dev and Qa environment. In dev and QA the form size is around 150 KB after cleansing data from MDM. Some reason in production it is more than 2 MB. FYI - We have multiple app servers in production.

In the adobe form layout library Use the Submit(which internally means submit to SAP) button from the Webdynpro Native category.
Only this button action can connect adobe to web dynpro.
Whenever we click on this particular button the event will be trigger in the ONsubmit event of interactive form UI element in the webdynpro.There we can write our abap code.Hope this will help you.

Opening an app from an url + parameters

Is there a way to open an app from an url with parameters and read those parameters?

Now, i am using Flash pro to create my app, once packed it's tricky to mess up with the contents, is there a file i can edit, before rendering the app? for example is this something i can add in an xml file that is created in my app folder?
It starts with this:
