Creating an HTML page with an embedded image in JAVA

is it possible to have a code in java that creates an HTML page,
reads an image file and embeds this to the HTML page?
can anyone give me a sample code? =)

Just tried this out, and it doesn't do what I was hoping: embed the image into the HTML document as a byte stream, so that the HTML document will display the image, without a seperate file.

Create new HTML page with white background.

When I create a new HTML page the background color in Design view is yellow. Dreamweaver Preferences and Page Properties do not show yellow. What to do?

I'm totally stumped as to why the default color is yellow. I do know that
the website where I'm the webmaster, all the pages have a yellow background
( http://281st.com ). But what that has to do with a new HTML default
background page color in Dreamweaver I'm not knowingŠŠŠ
The reason is the background color is hard wired in the body like this:

Now if you are relying on your styles then you are going to be totally stumped because you won't be looking at your HTML code. In fact most people won't remember to look at HTML code because they assume that because your work is quite proficient, you are not likely to embed styles in your HTML code.

Html pages with Flash embedded into mxml Html in Air?

I am building an Air application in Flex 3.5 and am using the mxml HTML tag to load html pages. I am wondering how I can load swf files embedded in my html page? Is that possible?

How to upload a HTML page with Flash image viewer?

I´ve got a html page with a flash image viewer file inn it. Preview in a browser is ok, but I don´t get it right on the server. Is it something spesial with the swf file?
This is what i have done: I just upload html -page, viewer swf file and the pictures to the same folder. Is this wrong?

Sorry to say, but that is not a webpage -
There is no doctype, no head section, no body section .
etc. etc.
Nothing would work in that document.
Please generate a properly formed HTML page, and place the scripts and script calls in the proper section and the rest in the body, and let's see what you get

Designing Embedded HTML Page with iWeb

I designed a html page with with an embedded html page within it. It all looks fine in iWeb, but when I upload the page to the intenet and I try to view this page it does not come up properly. Although I initially see the page come up as I designed it (for a fraction of a second) it then disapears and I only see the page I embedded on my page.
I added the following codes in HTML Snippet:

Populating HTML Page with fields from a Report

Greetings all,
I think I have finally figured out how to format my question about customizing reports
I am using the Sample Applicaiton and I created a simple report (PAGE 20) using the DEMO_CUSTOMER table. The simple report shows the CUSTOMER_ID, CUST_FIRST_NAME, CUST_LAST_NAME
I created a blank page (PAGE 21) with an HTML Region. In the HTML region I have created an HTML Table with Two Columns and 3 rows:

On my report page 20, I created a link from the Customer ID and I wanted to know if I could populate the Table I created on Page 21 with say a P21_CUSTOMER_ID field and when I click the link on page 20 it redirects to page 21 and P21_CUSTOMER_ID = #CUSTOMER_ID# just like I would do for a formatted report. I added items to page 21 called P21_CUSTOMER_ID, P21_CUST_FIRST_NAME, P21_CUST_LAST_NAME
but I don't know how to get their values into the table that I created. Do I have to make an html form element and reference it? Make fields hidden? Not sure How to populate the table I created with the values that are passed into page 21 and any help would be appreciated. I am sure however I identify the variable I could then just use that same formatting and use Styles and Divs to make the page look like I want and just reference the same way, but unsure of how to do that.
Any assistance you can provide would be very much appreciated. I am trying to create a report view that looks like a web page with images, and the passed data would be populated throughout the HTML and not in a structured Tabular Format if that makes sense.

Extending what you have done , heres how
Assumption : You are getting values in P21_CUSTOMER_ID, P21_CUST_FIRST_NAME, P21_CUST_LAST_NAME
Edit your HTML table , and refer to the P21 items with &P21_CUSTOMER_ID. notation as follows
<table border="1">
<tr>
<td>CUSTOMER ID</td>
<td>&P21_CUSTOMER_ID.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>FIRST NAME</td>
<td>&P21_CUST_FIRST_NAME.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>LAST NAME</td>
<td>&P21_CUST_LAST_NAME.</td>
</tr>
</table>The other way is to create a Report with Single Row vertical layout template on Page 21 instead of the HTML region.

How do I create Equal Height Columns with my Background Images?

My problem is that the side bar HTML list is coming off the page in IE. & also the html in the header can look awful due to browser settings.
My question is how do I create Equal Height Columns with my Background Images so that they fit with the HTML text? Is there a good link you can point me to, or a tutorial?
The only way I can see by doing it is slicing my images up into 3 (top middle & bottom) & then setting the middle to repeat y????
Or does anyone know of a way to create rounded corners WITH drop shadows in CSS that will work on all browsers?

Can't create dynamic html elements with jsp????? important

I am having problem creating dynamic html elements with jsp tags, i have tried to use EL and java scriplet, both of them don't work.
i am trying to create dynamic menu in my "rightMenu.jspf", based on, if user has logged in or not.
some like this!

some simple text menu here

but it is not working. it simply loading all and images with in statement, regardless of whether user has logged in or not. i think some how if statement is not working properly.
"validUser" is a session bean, which is not creating at this point, it will created when user will log in successfully. and also this session bean does not exist at the page, where i am trying to check that .
Is there any way to create dynamic values in jsp. It is really important, is there any body who help me in this matter. i would be really grateful.

I created a servlet who can manage file upload from an HTML page.
Now I want to replace that HTML page with an applet.
I know that I need to use multipart/form-data , but I have no experience with applet.

If you use something like Apache Http Client you dont have to do any low level implementations.
Also if you are the one who is writing both servlet and applet you dot have to stick to standerd formats. you can develop your own format and write both servlet and applet to handle it. that kind of thing can be done easily even with URLConnection. But if you plan to send large files then URLConnection may not be the right option becouse I have seen many complaining that URLConnection gives OutOfMemoryErrors when uploading large amounts of data.

I try to create a Portal page for Password change.
At first look, I taught that to create that basic page will be easy as one, two , three.
Unfortunately not.
I need to create three textbox and include pl/sql validation agains our BD.
I usually work with a form base on procedure whose contain htp.package procedure
to create a portal page when that form is called. (Base on the way where Portal manage his own change password page.)
I try to get a better design of the page.
Where I get all the information about that package ? I want to center the page.
Oh yeah, I'm a newbie in html.

Hi,
You could create a FORM with non base table fields. You could then validate the values on SUBMIT (say through a button) and then do whatever processing,redirection needs to be done.
Or
you could create a DYNAMIC PAGE with all html fields and proper alignments etc and on form submit do the relevant processing.

I want to share my experience, creating AJAX procedures in APEX 4.0.
LIMITATIONS
•     How Can I Hide UPDATE button while I press NEW button. ??
•     How Can I Hide CREATE button while I’m UPDATING A RECORD. ??
•     How can I avoid multiple Inserts or Updates. ??
Here are the steps to create an AJAX Updatable Form using the sample table DEPTS. You can see the demo here: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=15488:1]
1)     Create a blank page
2)     Add a Report Region for departments (It shows the columns deptno, dname and loc).
3)     Add an HTML Region and create the elements to edit a Department.
a.     P1_DEPTNO (Hidden to store PK)
b.     P1_DNAME (Text Field)
c.     P1_LOC (Text Field)
4)     You also have to create a hidden element called P1_ACTION. This will help to trigger dynamic actions to perform DMLs.
5)     Open Page Attributes and in the HTML Header Section include the following code.

I created a HTLM page with Adobe Muse to make parallax effect scrolling.
I have imported that page, like folio, in to my DPS project.
All page is working but the swipe to change the page are disabled.
Why?
There are some functions to resolve this?

This is because your parallax scrolling effect is taking all the gestures on the page. If you have an event handler for touch/mouse movements on the page then you get the movements and there's no way for us to know about them to do a change to the next page.
Your options are:
1) Add a region to your HTML page that doesn't have an event handler for mouse/touch movements on it and say "swipe here to change page"
2) Add some UI in the HTML for page navigation and have it hyperlink to navto://relative/prev (or is it previous? I can never remember) and navto://relative/next

everwhere possible on how to create a html page.My website has a
navegation bar.And on the navegation bar it has links,like
forums,your accounts,and etc,but thats already integrated with the
website.Now i have an option in the admin area,wher i can create a
new category so that it would show up in the navegation bar,and i
have a drop down menu where i cans select what to put in that
category.But also i have an option to put a external url,so that
when they click on it,it will take them to where that link is
directed.The point is that i asnt to make a category in the
navigation menu that says Lirics.So that i can put lirics of songs
and etc,and that when users click on that link it will take them to
the lirics page..Do you guys understand?Sorry for the bad english,i
am now quite good with it..

It is possible to create HTML page with dynamic content. One way would be creating hidden field (e.g. P1_HTML on page 1) with dynamic HTML and on button click you redirect to page 2 and pass P1_HTML item value to item P2_HTML on page 2. On page you must have PL/SQL region. You can then render your dynamic HTML with code:
htp.p(:P2_HTML);
