I have a problem with button."How to create the group of
buttons(not ButtonBar,ToggleButtonBar) dynamically
I have one Application under that, i have one component,in
that i'm developing the Buttons dynamically.

I am currently developing a card game. I represent my cards as buttons. But as the player draws more cards from the deck I have to generate buttons dynamically at run-time. I could use arrays of buttons and store new buttons inside that arrays of buttons. But the only problem is I need ActionListener for each of my buttons. How do you create ActionListener for each different dynamically created buttons? Please Help.

I am pretty new to Flex and I am trying to populate buttons
dynamically that are in different colors and different label name
etc... I have cfc that returns an xml document with all the details
but how can I bind the data and layout the buttons on the canvas?
And each button need to have two events that need to be fired on
click. Can anyone help me with this?

Futureproof and dynamically created button
I have been looking solution how to make buttons dynamically so that I can fetch dynamically values for buttons:
- value,onclick,class,type,request

but I have challenges getting the escaped special characters to work especially for the apex.submit - part.
Maybe that is just because 'copy-pasting' the plsql-region code from www-page didn't work out of the box

Because dealing with the escape chars make the page easily break and there are now the new dynamic actions, I need to check what would be futureproof way of dynamically creating the buttons.
If this is anyway the most practical way to proceed, then where I should look for further information about htp.p(....) button creation examples with rich escapes?

Your right about the button_id. It's value comes from an input parameter. The button won't show up in the "When button pressed"-list_of_values. This is not only because you write the id yourself, but more because the entire button is created on the fly. The button isn't stored internal in an apex table, that's why it won't show up in a list of values.
If you want to trigger a dynamic action with the button, you can use a jQuery selector as triggering element. Here you can refer to the button_id using the '#' as jQuery marker for ID, e.g. '#myButton'.
What the button that you render does, depends on what you put in the p_link parameter. A normal save button would submit the page with condition 'SAVE', you can do that by setting p_link to 'apex.submit("SAVE")'. If the button should do a page redirect, you set p_link to 'http://www.page2go.com', or whatever url you wish to redirect to.
The text you put in the button attributes is added as HTML element definition, so if you set p_attrs to 'alt="alternate text"', that will be added to the html of your button.
An example for a conditional button call could be:

This would create a 'CREATE' button for a new order (p_order_id is null), or a 'SAVE' button for an existing order.
Regarding your ps: if you mean can you conditionaly create a button using dynamic actions? Then the answer would be yes. Yes you can use the create_button procedure in a dynamic action, however by writing it as stored procedure in the database, or in a database package, you can easily reuse your code and still have only one version of your procedure that you need to maintain.

I have created a button (via Content Editor) that uses JavaScript to open the Attachments folder of a list item in the Explorer Window in SharePoint 2010. The purpose is to have drag and drop functionality for each list item, having multiple attachments.
The button works but opens the "Attachments" folder containing all of the other folders for each list item (one folder per item). It seems that when you add an attachment to a list item, SharePoint numbers the folder based on the item's ID. What
I'm trying to do is take the JavaScript I have and have it run when a button is clicked in a custom form. When it runs, I'm trying to get it to open the "specific" folder for the list item. I have had success creating a hyperlink in the list that
does this; however, the link WILL NOT work until I use the Content Editor created button that runs JavaScript, that prompts me to click OK to my profile certificate, and then opens the Attachment folder. After that occurs, I can use my hyperlinks without issue
because I'm no longer prompted to click OK for my cert.
So I'm trying to take the JavaScript I have and place it in a list item form (custom form) and have it run when a form button is clicked. The problem is I have very little knowledge of JavaScript (did I mention little?) and
"don't know how to take the "http:" address I have in the script and append to it the list item ID, according to the record I have open."
So that for any record I open, the script will grab the corresponding record ID (or list item ID) and append it.

Thank you for pointing that out. I appended your "GetUrlKeyValue" to the end and it worked. That said, I noticed it doesn't run as smoothly as when I simply click on the Content Editor button I created that resides on the SharePoint List
ASPX page (not the form). The Content Editor button has the same code, minus the "GetUrlKeyValue". I click it; I get prompted to choose my cert; it opens right up.
Now go to the ASPX Display form where I dump the code in a table cell. Button appears in cell; I click it; wait; wait; I get prompted for cert; it opens. Do I need some sort of "throttle" for the JavaScript? For instance, I thought before running
JavaScript, you reference the library first. This code doesn't do that. I'm wondering if there's something more I need to make this run smoothly. Thank you both for getting me this far.

For loop and xml - how to point the right content in a XML file with a dynamically created button?

as my first experience in AS3 I'm bulding a photo multigallery. In that gallery I have some buttons, each one pointing to its respective set of images.
Each button is created with the for loop, that picks the information from a XML file. From this XML I get the text of the button, the position etc. What I did with some sucess. But there is a scary problem: I don't know how to make each button load the respective and unique set of images.
I've tryied several different methods, with no effect, to make each loop to give to each button an unique identity to load the respective set of images.
I imagine that the solution pass by the use of arrays. I wrote some code, and I guess that I'm almost there (but not sure). Here is my AS3 code until now:

How to create a dynamic form with bind variables :schema & :table_name
My application has two LOV's, one to select a schema, and the next to select a table within that schema. I then have a button which passes me to a report which displays the data in that table.schema.
I now want to create a link to a form where I can edit the record based on the rowid of that table.schema, but it doesn't appear that I can create a dynamic form where I pass the schema.table_name and rowid. Is this possible? Can anyone advise how I can do this? The form builder only wants a fixed schema/table name.

In this sort of situation, you will need to be a bit creative.
I would suggest a pipeline function called as if it was a report.
Then you can pipe out the required fields.
Since you will have a variable number of fields, you could use two of the multi row field names for your field names and values.
Then after submit, you can create your own procedure to loop through the fields (stored for you in the Apex package) and update the table as required.
Not very specific I'm afraid, but it should work.

How to create a dynamic action from link column in classic report
I Have an apex page that display a modal window utilizing jquery. In the modal window I have a classic report with a link column that I want to capture its click event.
I was thinking I could create a dynamic action with selection type=jquery selector. Not for sure if I need to do anything on link column and do not know the syntax

I am trying to capture the click event on the link column of the report in the modal form. I want to pass a couple of column values
back to the main form and close the modal window. I do not want to do the submit that happens if I click on the link column and link back to the main page(2)
If I let the submit to happen, all other entered fields are cleared on my main form.
Just don't understand the jQuery selector. I have no problem catching the button clicks on the modal form. -
Creating two dynamic action in a page

I have created two dynamic action under the page_items(p6_item,p6_item1 both are hidden).
First dynamic action under p6_item is action1.
properties of action Event-> Change
Selection_Type->Item
Item-> p6_Item
Value-> show
(When i Hit the button viewall it should only display region1)
True Action:
sequence->10, Action->Show, Fire->Yes, Selection Type->region, Region->region1
sequence->20, Action->Hide, Fire->Yes, Selection Type->region, Region->region2
False action:
sequence->30, Action->Hide, Fire->Yes, Selection Type->region, Region->region1
Second Dynamic action under p6_item1 is action2

Here the problem is, when i hit the viewall button it is not displaying region1 instead region2 is displayin region1 is hidden. when i hit the Search Button it is displaying region2 , region1 is hidden. How to create a dynamic textarea in AS2
I am trying to create a dynamic textArea in AS2. Here is what I have so far:

I have the textarea component in my libray, but nothing shows up onscreen.
HelpAre you sure you want AS2.0? There is no addChild() in AS2.0.
In AS2.0, make sure you have the TextArea component in your library, importing it isn't good enough.
An easy way to instantiate a component, say a button, is like so (modify for TextArea or any other component):
