My screen design is very complecated.I want to create a report program having such screen.What is the best method of doing this?

Hi,
In the report program,
parameters: a type i.
now go to se51 enter the name of your program and screen no as 1000 and do the required changes as per the requirement.
if you execute the report, whatever you modified by using se51 will come.

Hi,
Open your program in SE80. Right click on your program. Click CREATE->Screen menu. This will allow you to create screen for the program.
In the End-of-selection event call the screen using the commands CALL SCREEN or LEAVE TO SCREEN or SET SCREEN.

How to create selections-screens to display PO using module pool program

All,
I'm new to module pool programming. Can any one please provide me where to create selections screens to display existing purchase orders using the below selection criteria in thr module pool program.,

How to create dynamic screen using module pool programming

Hi,
Could anybody help me how to create dynamic screens?
I am developing a screen with HR Person with assignment info. If PERNR have multiple assignments, i need to show all the details one by one. How to show the details on screen. I need to call one by one assignment information dynamically.
Please suggest me how to do, apart from using table controls.

Issue in Creating a screen variant for FV50 through SHD0

Hi,
I need to create a Screen variant for FV50 to hide the post button through the Transaction SHD0, It was working fine and the function keys BU and BS i disabled in the variant, but the problem is when i disabled the Function keys from FV50 it is not allowing me to post the transaction in FBV0 also. I found that T code FV50 is using the program :SAPMF05A and FBV0 is using : SAPMF05V.
Is there any way to overcome the issue through the transaction SHD0 ?

To Create aVariant You can use Tcode : SHD0.
Provide the tocde and clik on Screen variant and create...

How to create a job thru ABAP program for calling a program with variant???

Hello experts,
can u give me step wise procedure to create jobs for a program with a variant name thru ABAP???
Also, can a transaction can be scheduled as a job to run in background with a variant name???

Hi,
To create a job through ABAP program you can do the following.
Go to Menu bar.
In there, go to SYTSTEM> SERVICES> JOBS--> DEFINE JOB.
Then give the JOB NAME and CLASS in the screen that comes up.
This is how we schedule a program.
Now, to create a variant for a program -
First activate your program in SE38. Then execute it .
Now, click on SAVE button. It will open up the variant creation screen. Give the details there like variant name and value for the fields. Save and come back.

Hi Rakesh,
If you wish to use ONLY the screen of another program, call transaction will not help you, because the called transaction will be fully executed (and not only the screen), and the acess to screen field wil be difficult.
When you wish to access the same screen from more than one program, you can create this screen in a function module and in this way you can call the function (to display the screen) in many programs.

Selection-screen in module program

Hi,
I have created a module pool prog.
Now the new regd. is that I want to create selection-screen before displying the actual screen.
But when I m trying to use selection screen then I m getting the message that it is not possible in type 'M' as my program is module pool.
I m using screen 9000 to display the records, now where to write selection screen in the program?
I think in PBO but getting some error, I have created one screen and in that defined a subscreen but it is giving some error.
So any body knows how to add selection screen in 'M' type program?

Hi,
You can create a selection-screen for a module pool program.
Create a new program with executable type. Create the selection screen as you would do in a normal program. Once you give data in the selection and press F8 button, based on the logics written, the O/P must appear in a table control. This is what your requirement is:

Creating a variant in my program?

I developed a BDC program using call transaction, and also a tcode for this program.How can i add variants to this tcode.
from se38 when i enter program name and from menu bar im selecting variants tab, here im creating a new variant and saving it.
But when i execute my tcode, in selection screen i am not seeing variant option.
Do i need to add any code for creating a variant in my program?

You enter the selection-screen details in your program and hit the save button and next time you visit the program either thru custom tcode or thru se38 you will be able to see the variants u created
CALl the Transaction U have created fro the BDC. It will show the selection screen. There u fill the data for the field and SAVE button will be there in the menu click it will ask for Variant name give it and save.

Using screen from another program?

Can I use a screen created in one module pool program for another report/module pool program?

U can do it this way.
Create a Transaction for for program P1.
In SE80 - Maintain Transaction (say zprog1)
Here u have to pass program name(p1) and screen No. (103)
and use CALL TRANSACTION in PAI of p2 to call it.
CALL TRANSACTION zprog1. "as created above
If u want the execution to completely on p1- 103
use
LEAVE TO TRANSACTION zprog1. "as created above

Why I cannot create a screen variant?

In transaction SHD0 I am trying to create a screen variant but it is marking the following error:
Attribute for user MYUSER contains errors. Inform system admin.
Message no. BBP_PU245
In transaction SU53 display message: The last authorization check was successful.
The screen variant I am trying to create is for:
Transaction code: BBPSC02
Program: SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS
Screen: 300

Thinking about it further, I don't completely subscribe... Indeed it looks like a bad idea to make the OP wonder about dialog.setVisible() when JOptionPane enables him to forget about the hand-made dialog. I stand by my own advice ("JDialog" should not even appear in this code extract).

Calling selection screen of another program

     Am trying to call a program from a enhancement section of IW3K transaction using the following statement.But the selection screen of the program is not getting displayed.
but the screen is dispalyed when i run the statement in debug mode.
