Creating Dynamic Radio Groups with HTMLDB_ITEM

Hi,
I'm using HTMLDB (1.5.1.00.12) and attempting to create a Dynamic Radiogroup using the HTMLDB_ITEM package in a PL/SQL region. (It's not known until runtime whether a radiogroup should appear on the page.) I normally call to HTMLDB_ITEM and htp.p the results to the screen.
If I was creating this radiogroup using a normal Page Item: Active/Inactive. I usually define a list of values as: STATIC:Active;A,Inactive;I
How can I do this with HTMLDB_ITEM package, and get both radiobuttons to appear on the same line next to each other? Unfortunately this function doesn't have a p_query I can pass values to. I'm sure I'm overlooking something obvious so I'm hoping some fresh perspective on this will help.

I am trying to create a DDG with the following filters: Mailbox Users, specific OU and not member of a certain group. This script works fine (minus the exclusion):

\When I change the script to exclude members of the group the DDG is blank:

i create new Approver Group with type: Dynamic, and Voting Method: First Responder Wins. and i write the query to get user_id.
The query return the correct users, but in the approval list in the wf, it requires approval from all users in my dynamic approver group !!
i need only one first user to approve (First Responder Wins), then must go to next approver group.
please help me to solve this problem

With Dynamic approval First Responder wins does not work, We have to use Roles in HR Manager.

Creating Dynamic Internal table with a dynamic name

Hi,
I want to create dynamic internal tables with dynamic names.
For example:
Suppose I have a table with three fields.
1. Structure name
2.Fields
3.file
And the structure of the internal table is as follows:

      fields                   TYPE tt_type OCCURS 0,
      File                      TYPE ttab_type OCCURS 0,
      END OF table_type.
Suppose I have one record inside my internal table with struct as "STRUCTURE", fields have an internal table content of set of fields and File has some set of records.
Now I want to create dynamic internal table whose name will be "STRUCTURE" , the fields of the dynamic internal table structure[] will be as in fields, and the records will be as in File.
Like this if i have 100 records in my internal table then I have to create 100 dynamic internal table dynamically.
Can anyone suggest how to do this?

According to your description, you want to connect multiple database from multiple servers using dynamic connection.
If in this case, we can create a Table in our local database (whatever DB we want) and load all the connection strings. We can use Execute SQL Task to query all the connection strings and store the result-set in a variable of object type in SSIS package.
Then use ForEach Loop container to shred the content of the object variable and iterate through each of the connection strings. And then Place an Execute SQL task inside ForEach Loop container with the SQL statements we have to run in all the DB instances.

Can't create dynamic html elements with jsp????? important

I am having problem creating dynamic html elements with jsp tags, i have tried to use EL and java scriplet, both of them don't work.
i am trying to create dynamic menu in my "rightMenu.jspf", based on, if user has logged in or not.
some like this!

but it is not working. it simply loading all and images with in statement, regardless of whether user has logged in or not. i think some how if statement is not working properly.
"validUser" is a session bean, which is not creating at this point, it will created when user will log in successfully. and also this session bean does not exist at the page, where i am trying to check that .
Is there any way to create dynamic values in jsp. It is really important, is there any body who help me in this matter. i would be really grateful.

Unfortunately the use case you describe hasn't been implemented in Firefox. It's not possible to move a tab group out to its own window at this point. Generally the tab groups feature hasn't been worked on much recently, not sure why.
As to TabMixPlus, that's a third-party add-on which Mozilla doesn't directly support. You can find support links from the add-on page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/

Radio Group with no default selection

Is there a way to have a radio group on a form where none of the radio buttons are selected? I want the user to make an active "required" selection, but not have one displayed by default. The only way that I can think to do this would be to have a non-visible radio button as part of the group and have that non-visible button be the default value. That way the user has to select one.
Is there a cleaner way to do this that is just escaping me? I gotta think there is.... Please show me that I'm an idiot for not realizing it. :) lol

It is just a warning..... But forms reports it as an error, but hey... I created the form for you anyway. Shouldn't it say warning? :) I'm thinking more from a production support standpoint once this code goes live. Somebody supporting production support 2 years from now with me not being around may not understand why they're getting an "error" now.

I actually will programatically force the user to make a choice on the radio buttons. But I want them to make an "active" choice. I don't want one selected by default.
Ok... so I think my questions are answered... all that remains is whether or not I can suppress that ugly error. And it sounds like I can't..... Thank you so much for your help gang!

Radio group with URL for image in a table

I'm trying to display some text and an image for a radio group so the form looks like
(*) text for item 1 {image for item 1}
( ) text for item 2 {image for item 2}
( ) text for item 3 {image for item 3}

It looks like all I have to do is create a LOV that looks like:

But, my images are stored in a table.
I have been able to create an IR using the "Column Format=BLOB" method.
The SQL for the report looks like:

And the Number/Date Format for the IMAGE_LEN column is:

Create Dynamic Distribution Groups Using Customized Filters

I am looking to create a new Dynamic Distribution List.
Example:
DL - United States Users ([email protected])
In AD we have the 'Office' field filled accordingly, which contains the attribute USCA___ or USIL (US,California,etc or US, Illinois,etc).
I was wanting to try creating these using this command/script;
New-DynamicDistributionGroup -Name "DL - United States Users" -RecipientFilter {(RecipientType -eq 'UserMailbox') -and (Office -eq 'USCA*')(Office -eq 'USIL*')}
Assistance here please:
1. What needs to be added in that line so that only certain users can email to it, rejecting all others (i.e. The Helpdesk or Corporate Communications)
2. Is there a way to specify the SMTP address you want it to use?
3. Is there a way to have it only add mailboxes that are enabled in AD so disabled mailbox user accounts wont be added?

New-DynamicDistributionGroup -Name "DL - United States Users" -RecipientFilter {(RecipientType -eq 'UserMailbox') -and (Office -like
'US, California' -or (Office -like 'US, Illinois')) -and (UserAccountControl -ne 'AccountDisabled, NormalAccount')}
Then as what ED says, we can use the Set-DynamicDistributionGroup cmdlet with AcceptMessagesOnlyFrom or
AcceptMessagesOnlyFromDLMembers parameter to specify certain users who can send email messages to this dynamic distribution group. And use PrimarySMTPAddress parameter to specify the primary return SMTP email address for the distribution group.

Dynamic Radio Group field

I'm building a application to take a Test or Exam, where you'll have a question with multiple options, some question might have 6 options: A( ) B( ) C( ) D( ) E( ) F( ) and then another question might be just 3 options: A( ) B( ) C( )
Is there a way to make this kind of behavior on a field in Application Express? having a radio group that could have different number of options for each record?

Sure, just base the radigroup item on a dynamic LOV query and it will render as many radiobuttons as the number of rows returned by the query.

Radio Group With Submit.

Apex 3.2
I have an updateable report based on a collection.
One of the columns is a radio group and is the only updateable column
My code for the column is currently
apex_item.radiogroup(7,seq_id,c008)
I also have a button that fires an update process.
Ideally, I would like to get rid of the button and fire the update, after the user has changed the radio group.
So I changed my code to
apex_item.radiogroup(

            , 'doSubmit(''SUBMIT'')'

If I click on a different radio group nothing happens.
If I then click on another one, the update fires, but with the value of the previous radio.
Do I need to add something else to

Submitting a page or navigating to another page is not an appropriate action to take on clicking a radio button checkbox:
Setting or clearing a checkbox changes the checkbox's state with no other side-effects. Violating this guideline by associating additional actions with the change of state frequently confuses users, because they are used to configuring data in entry controls such as text boxes, radio buttons, and check boxes and then invoking an action control such as a push button to initiate the action to process the data.
Use radio buttons to select items or options before initiating a submit using an appropriate control. Use buttons and links to submit and navigate to other pages. This enables users to consider their choice and change it before submission.

Creating dynamic internal table with deep structure

I need to create an internal table with deep structure dynamically. I've already created tables with method 'create_dynamic_table' but I'm struggling with the deep structure.
I would need an internal table with the following structure:
DATA: BEGIN OF lt_t1,
s1 TYPE REF TO data,
s2 TYPE REF TO data,
END OF lt_t1.
S1 and S2 have to be tables.
It might be possible with RTTS but all the examples in the forums (that I've found so far) are related to at least one DDIC-structure. And that's my problem because both tables are created during runtime.

We use a function builder for SEM-BPS which copies data from one Cube to another. This Cube is transactional, so you can't easily read a structure out of DDIC.

So one table (s_chas) contains the characteristics of the Cube and the other (s_kyfs) contains the keyfigures. That's exactly the format we need for the export parameter. At the end of the program, we use the following coding to fill the export table (eto_chas):
loop at lt_ibm_data into ls_ibm_data.
collect ls_ibm_data-s_chas into eto_chas.
endloop.
So in this moment I give this table the structure that is needed to move the data into the cube. I can't change the requirement because it is a standard interface.
I would like to change that coding to be dynamically. Because if somebody changes a charasteristic or a keyfigure in the cube, we would have to change the function builder too. I don't think that the SEM-BPS department will let us know every time they've changed something anyway.
