Creating Files Dynamically based on Condition

Hi Experts,
I want to create a scenario in which I want to have N number of target files based on some condition.
Suppose I have following Source structure .

My requirement is I want to have 2 different target files based on EmpId.
And this should be dynamic that means N number of EmpId in my source will create N number of files.
Can anyone help me to solve this?

Hi All,
As my requirement was to create N files dynamically based on some condition so I first used 1:N multimapping without BPM.
Then I followed RP's steps.
Follow those steps
1) in the message Mapping go to Signature T..Outbounded.
2)later go back to main tab . you shoud create a mapping like this:
3)<EmpId>--> change the context to MT_Employee_Src. to do that press right button on the field and go to context menu option.
map this field to the proper header target structure E.X: MT_Employee_Tgt
4) doing this you will create as many target files as <EmpId> you receive.
5) map the rest of the fields
This is great.And this helped me a lot and finally gave solution.
I want to share one thing that I faced.
when you are doing 1:N multi-mapping then you have to change the occurrence of target .
Then your source and target structure will be changed .If you are taking the source schema from mapping then remove the extra tags those got generated due to multi mapping such as
<ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
- <ns0:Message1>
</ns0:Message1>
</ns0:Messages>
And then use the file and it will work fine.

In my current scenario I have 2 dependent sources (Proxy and File system) from which data is being sent to a common target service. The sources are dependent on Proxy/ECC to File System. Please let me know how I need to pick the file from File system because lot of files are there in File System. Based on my ECC/Proxy message details on field of ABN, according ABN number I need to be pick the file from the File system but I have lot of files in File system. Please let me know how to pick multiple files from one correct file based on my first file message.
After that picking the files I need merge the two messages and send to target file system.
Using fork I can merge files, no issues. But here problem to pick file dynamically Based on content .

ECC - > JAVA BASED MESSAGE MAPPING ( HERE WE WILL PERFORM FILE LOOKUP) - > RECEIVER .
Is This approach sounds fisible to you ?
Please provide Sender DataType XML / Receiver DataType XML + any 1 csv file in which lookup has to perform.
and this approach is only possible , if your Flat file is on FTP Server which is on the same network.

Create controls dynamically based on XML file

Hi All,
I am very new to Flex environment. I am trying to integrate FLEX with ASP.net for better UI interfacing.
May I know if is it possible to draw fields (Text boxes, option buttons, etc) on the Flex dynamically using a XML file at runtime.
What my expectation is, if I have an XML file with the filed names and type, can the Flex draw them on the front end UI?

If you are going to run the PHP file in its own machine then you could use a browser or clipper portlet. If you want to run the PHP file on the JVM itself, I believe there are some commercial products that let you do this (then its equivalent to a JavaServlet). This could then be included by any dummy JSP and you could use a plain jsp portlet . however you wqould have to be careful how you generate links within the PHP file (because you'd have to mimic the way BEA tags behave) .
never tried this and if you have few PHP pages then you could probably rewrite to java.

One of the very few options you have is loading them all into the form as embedded images, and then dynamically making the visible and hidden depending on your conditions.
Dynamic loading of images (from a URL or remote location) was completely removed from Interactive Forms a while ago as it was deemed insecure. (and it is)
The second option is loading them all into your SAP system and then making a webservice which you call with a trigger to return you the binary form of the image, which you can read by creating the correct type in the Context.

Generation of Interactive file dynamically based on a XML document.

Hi Experts,
I got a new requirement for a dynamic interactive PDF form, can somebody help me if its possible to do so and is fo how ..?
I will have a dynamic XML file generated and placed in a location with list of fields, attributes, events and webservices information.
Now I need to read this XML (from a J2EE APP or any other technology would do) based on the fields and properties spedified, need to generate a PDF document, based on events specified generate buttons and bind the web service.
At runtime when a visibile button is clicked send data to this web service.
Does anybody cameacross such a requirement ...?

Hello Sai,
I won't be too expecting using Flex. The layout generated need not necessarily be compatible with the SAP ALCD.
Although, it must be possible to generate a pdf dynamically because every element used in the form layout is stored as a xfo-file (e. g. button.xfo) within the installation directories. Have a look! So, you can assemble a form layout based on the xfo-elements completely dynamically.
So, you need an empty layout. You can load the layout by cl_fp_wb_form=>load and form->get_layout( ). Change it, store and generate by function FP_FORM_GENERATE. But it will need some efforts!

as stefan pointed already you can't do this using standard adapter functionality,
you can do it in mapping easily,convert below code in to UDF it will work.

How do i create file dynamically??

hi all,
i am trying to insert data by reading it from a table in the database and then writing into a file.
My problem is i do not want to specify the file name in the Definition tab/resourcename ...i need the file to be created dynamically in the folder specified and then write the contents of the table to that file..
is it posiible??

i have taken a source data store and a target data store.The source data store is a database table and in the resource name i have mentioned is table name from where i have to read the data..
in the target data store i have mentioned the file name into which it will write,also in the file i have specified the column names ,reversed the same,and i have mapped it in the interface against the table columns..
Now when i execute the interface it writes the content of the table in the file ..
But i do not want to specify the name of the file in the target data store, instead i want it to create the file itself and then write the contents in the file..
are you getting the picture?

How to hide a form view field dynamically based on condition?

Actually I have two dropdowns. First dropdown has two entries( Yes and No). If I select YES in the first dropdown then second dropdown will get hide as well as if I select NO in first dropdown then the second dropdown will be show as mandatory(*) and populate with some entries.
Kindly help me out with the code.

Hi Munna,
You can control the dynamic field hiding by using the form iterator class.
Please follow the below step to hide the field,
First create custom class with interface IF_CHTMLB_FORM_ITERATOR, then add the code in RENDER_CELL_START and constructor methods.
You need to add the below code in your .htm page
lr_form_iterator type ref to "new class name.
create object lr_form_iterator
exporting iv_context_node = BTCUSTOMERH iv_opport_h = BTOPPORTH.( these are context nodes you need to pass which are having your fields, so that you can access the fields inside the render_cell_start method)
cl_chtmlb_config=>set_iterator( lr_form_iterator ).
You need to write the code in Render_cell_start method of the new class. You need to access the context nodes to the new class and then use them to get the field1 value. If the field1 value is YES you can set empty instance to the EV_REPLACEMENT_BEE for the field2.
lv_current = gv_context_node->collection_wrapper->get_current( ). " you can set the gv_context_node in constructure method.
    IF lv_current IS BOUND.
      lv_current->get_property_as_value(

Every November, on the last Wednesday of the month, Salchester Primary School holds its annual school games competition. The school is very small and pupils from all classes belong to Houses which compete for the House Cup. Each pupil belongs to either the Green or Yellow House. The names of pupils and numbers in each class are provided for you, together with their House.
The games that are played during the day are:
" Snap
" Cribbage
" Spillikins
" Junior Scrabble.
The structure of the competition is as follows:
" the Yellow and Green Houses compete against each other in a series of
matches
" each match is best of three single games of one type of game
" pupils cannot play other pupils from the same class

You should declare a Game class, a House class a classGroup class and a Student class
To create the matchups you then can pick student from each classGroup.

Automatically create file name based on information in image

Hi,
I have a requirement to scan 100 documents into a single tiff file. I need a software that can split the images (inside the big tiff file) into individual tiff files afterward. I need to extract a number appearing in each of these tiff image to become the filename of each individual tiff file after splitted. Finally, I have a process to upload and attach these files to the corresponding table rows in Oracle.
Does anyone know any software that can accomplish this?

Use the file dialog box function to get the file name/path.
To save the file , use appropriate write function ( as per file type that is being saved..text file,datalog , binary ..)

SLA - Creating Journal lines based on conditions

Hello all,
We are trying to use Subledger Accounting to create a tax distribution. The difficulty we have is we need to be able to evaluate the second segment of the cost code to see if it should have a tax journal line created. So, for each invoice distribution as an example, we need to evaluate if tax has to be calculated. This is a y/n flexfield value setting in GL.

How to create additional Line in file based on condition available as part of ZINVOIC02 Idoc segment

Now we have got addition requirement to add a new lineitem when tax code is equal to O3 for any of the E1EDP01.
Is it possible to create additional lineitem based on condition. If yes, please share what should be the approach.

Please add one extra field in the data structure of the target mapping and let its occurrence be 0..unbounded under the root node 'MT_ADP_Invoice'.
Apply the condition, if tax code MSKWZ (with its context changed to E1EDP01) equalsS to '03', then map it to the newly created target field whose occurrence is 0..unbounded.
This will then create an additional field which is your requirement.
The above is one way.
But if you want to have the same target field name as ADP_File appended for tax field being '03'.
Then in that case you can you two message mapping for one common operational mapping / interface.
In the first message mapping you need to have one target data structure created with the source data structure remaining the same as the one shown by you in scrn shot. Now this target data structure will be similar to the source, except that you need to add one more field at the end(name different from other fields) in target (whose occurrence should be 0..unbounded), and it needs to be mapped to E1EDP01 provided the tax code field MSKWZ(its context changed to E1EDP01) equalsS to constant '03'.
In the second message mapping you need to map the target structure of previous message mapping to the actual required structure. The newly added field should be mapped to ADP_File of your final target structure.
This will then create the same structure as required.
Note : Please change the occurence of ADP_File to 0..unbounded.

Create a group based on file contents

Hello!
I'm investigating options to create a dynamic group based on periodic check of file content. I have a Shavlik updater which is patching custom groups based on file contents. I would like to create a dynamic group which should return all Windows Computer
classes that are found from this file. Anything close to sensible was found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxASdzHFTOU where author created an attribute of based on "SELECT * FROM CIM_DataFile" and then created a group out from it - but it checks
file existence, not content, would launch against all Windows Clients (and we have 1000+ of these monitored) - certainly not a valid way.
Is there any way I could do that in a simple, straightforward way?

In the preOpen event of the second dropdown list you put something like (in formCalc):
