I modified the xml file as described in the forum. But the error persists.
    One interesting thing is:
When I create model after restarting the NDS,I get the following error:
org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Failed to execute runnable <i>(java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer 'com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC'
JCO.nativeInit(): Could not initialize dynamic link library librfc. Found version "620.0.1237" but required at least version "620.0.1374".)</i>
I get the NoClassDef found error next time onwards,
Where do I get the 620.0.1374 version of librfc?
    thanx.

    hi
This error occurs mainly due to the reason that particular plugin is not there in the NWDS.
So please try to reinstall the NWDS or try tracing out whether that particular plugin is there or not.

  • Creating a model window using JavaScript

    Hi,
How can i create a model window in Java Script??
Please help me. I am new to this.
    Regards,
    Narahari

if you want to limit yourself to IE, you go look at
    the IE JS documentation at
    msdn.microsoft.com/library
if you don't want to limit yourself to IE, you don't.Here's the first line:
    Here's a window named javascript_1.
When you click on this link, a new window called javascript_1 gets opened and the HTML page javascript_window_1.html gets put into the window. Because the features parameter is optional, you can just leave it out. This will give you the default window you would have gotten if you'd used a targeted href, as in the previous page.
Notice that I put the call to open the window in an onClick. You don't have to put window.open() calls inside an onClick, it was just convenient to do so in this example. You'll see examples of window.open() inside <script> tags soon.
The second link is almost exactly like the first link. It just opens a window with a different name and loads in a different HTML page:
    Here's a window named javascript_2.
The third link sticks a new HTML page into the first window. This works because the third link opens a window with the same name as the first window: javascript_1.
Here's another HTML page going into javascript_1.

  • Java Model Exception

I have a DC which uses another DC.
The Used DC has a Model in it.
When I sync and create Project for the main DC (ie Using DC), it gives an Exception (Java Model Exception).
Also it says that .classpath  file is read-only.
I had some nodes  in the using DC structure boubded with the Model(which is in Used DC).
But now becoz of this Exception, all structure bounded nodes(in using DC) are in error.
I had the Model in "Used Models"  of the main DC but that also does not seem to appear now.
    Please suggest a solution
The exact exection is org.eclipse.jdt.core.JavaModelException: File /GGD_NPIDEV_Dsnsnpiadminconfig~pg.com/.classpath is read-only.

    Hi Saravanam,
One more information about my  scenario.
In the open activities view, I can see that the name of development configuration is followed by number 1 and 2 in brackets like
VBD_FPIDEV_D(1)(2). The actual name of the devlopment configuration is VBD_FPIDEV_D. Why are numbers 1 and 2 following the name. It appears in the same way in Activation view and in Transport view too.

  • Creating Java Proxies

    Hi all,
We have a scenario for RFC -> Xi -> Java Application. We need to inoke certain functionlities provided by the java application through RFC. As per my understanding, i need to create the relevant interfaces and then invoke the java application by writing Java Proxies.
Can any body please suggest if:
    1. My approach is correct? if no, then what is the possible solution?
    2. If Its correct then how to create java proxies. Can any body please provide me a link to a blog with sample application?
    Any help will be appriciated.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Kulwant Singh

    Hi Kulwanth,
Java Proxies are Java Class files to access the R/3. If u create an RFC Model for a BAPI/RFC enabled FM the system will automatically create Java Proxy classes for ur R/3 connection.
The Java proxies for the message interfaces are generated using the Integration Builder tool (Design) in the menu Tools --> Java Proxy Generation and subsequently by selecting the message interfaces
Java proxies, the Integration Builder tool is used
    1) The Java proxies for the message interfaces are generated using the Integration Builder tool (Design) in the menu Tools ---> Java Proxy Generation and subsequently by selecting the message interfaces.
Using the Java Proxy runtime we can Receive messages or Send messages to the Integration Server. The Java proxy runtime supports J2EE applications on the SAP J2EE Engine using Enterprise Java Beans 2.0. Synchronous and Asynchronous Outbound and Inbound communication is possible with Proxy Beans.

  • Create a Model

    Good Day All,
when I tried to create a model in SAP Netweaver Studio and I got the following error message:
An internal error has ocurred, see error log for more details.
Plugin name: Web Dynpro Model Editor

    Method: createModel
Message: An error ocurred, see error log for more details.
    Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: null
anyone have any idea what cause that error message?
    thanks,

    Hi Rami,
It looks like this NPE is coming from the Web Dynpro model plug-in code.
If 'Create Model' was working earlier, then this might be due to metadata corruption. Close the NWDS.
    1) Either delete the contents of the metadata folder of your workspace & restart NWDS.
    2) Or you can restart NWDS in a fresh workspace.
Please verify that you are providing all the required parameters in the model creation wizard.
If the NWDS installation has gone fine & still the problem persists, this seems to be a bug & you can raise a customer ticket (CSS message on Web Dynpro component)
    Kind Regards,
    Nitin
PS: If you are using quite old version of NWDS, I would advise you to upgrade to a later version as these very basic things should be working fine.

  • Creating Java web service Proxies in  nwds 7.3

    Hi Experts,
I'm trying to consume the WSDL (Which has been generated from PI. ESR) by following the below thread in NWDS 7.3 but I'm not successful in doing so.
    https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwesrce/helpdata/en/45/100c6be9f87201e10000000a155369/content.htm
In NWDS 7.0 I could able to do generate Java proxy by creating the project File-->new -->project-->web services-->Deployable Proxy Project--> and Proj name and Finish. Once created it will open in Web services Prospective and appears in Client Explorer and we can create the proxy by right clicking --> new--> client Proxy Definition. I want the same thing in NWDS 7.3 also, but in 7.3 I'm struggling to have the similar steps, I found above help document but it is not that clear. Appreciate if any one has document or point to the right thread which has document/example in performing the sa,e thing in NWDS7.3.
Below is the screenshot from NWDS7.0. But want to do the same in NWDS 7.3

Thank you so much Durga, for providing the documents, really helpful. However I have created the Web dynpro DC as below and had few questions when doing it in NW 7.3 version.
    Points which I have performed.
    1) Created the Web dynpro Java (Web services) DC and application in NWDS 7.3 version.
    2) Created the Model's and imported the WSDL from local/ESR (SAP PI web service)
    3) created the Service Groups and which populated Service references
    4) Deployed the DC in the AS Java 7.3 and configured the Consumer Service Groups for interacting during run time.
Now my question is can we import multiple WSDL's by creating multiple models as shown in the picture? along with the multiple service groups in the same web dynpro java DC? Will it work?
And if yes, If want to use this model from this (Web services) DC to another DC if I add this as dependency and model to the public parts that will do the trick? or will I have do any other configuration/ settings to use this DC in any other DC? Appreciate  if you could take a look at this and advise?

If we are logging with Non Admin Id (other than weblogic) and select New Data Model, a blank screen is coming. Where as, if we use Admin Id, we are getting screen as usual for creating data model. There were some blogs mentioning to change Priviledges for  SOAP access, but that approach is also not working.

    Hi,
This problem normally arises with the wrong combination of JDK and OS and for the Linux machines, its better to use IBM Java instead of SUN java
I remember that I have solved this type of problem by using lower version of IBMJava2-AMD64-142-SDK-1.4.2-10.0.x86_64.rpm which is SR10. You can download this version from
    http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/linux/download.html
go to download _12 and then just change the sr12 to sr10 in the header url....

with the higher versions of java for 64bit systems create serious stack over flow problems.....
what I suggest you is to start reinstallating SolMan after installing IBM java sr10 version...
