Creating of a badi for drop down menu in ADobe form

Hi ,
Can you let me know what FM ( Function module ) should i use
for creating a drop down menu for a field in the Adobe form in the
Badi ..
This Badi is attached to the field in the smart form..
Or a F4 help created in the Badi will serve the purpose...( it will act
as a drop down menu for the field.. )..

I want to create a button with the drop-down menu, which is like the 'back' on the tollbar in IE. I heard JPopupMenu can reach the certain result, but the button hadn't a down arrow. Who can help me?

Drop down menu within a form doesnt work.

I use an online database in which i need to upload pictures and answer questions all within a form. When i go to pick an option from a drop down menu within a form, the form doesn't go down and i cant make any choices. any way to fix this?

Drop down values in Adobe Forms vanishes upon Check and Send in HRAS

The drop down values in Adobe Forms vanishes upon Check and Send while initiating the process.
I also get the error , u2018 The Entered Value is not on the List of Valid Valuesu2019 when I select the values again and try to SUBMIT.
We are in EHP4u2026 and I am seeing many Notes has been released to address these issues in EHP3 itself..

We applied the Note 1413209 and 1403266. The fix didnu2019t work.
I noticed the SAP Note 1403266 mentions a prerequisite Note 1346443 which is for SP4.
We are currently in SP5 and our system mentions Note 1346443 as u2018Cannot be Implemented. u2018

How to get prefilled drop down list in Adobe form from WebDynpro context

Hi All,
We all know that we can have dropdown list in webdynpro which can be automatically populated by the context node collection.
How can we have the same functionality in Adobe form drop down list. I tried to bind the node attribute to drop down list in Adobe form but it shows me only first element. I am not able to see all the elements in the dropdown but if I am doing same thing for WebDynpro DropDown list I can see the complete List.
Anybody with Solution?

Code placement for drop down menu within an animated button

I have a main menu comprised of 7 buttons; 6 of which are all
straight forward with an animation. (The animation is that when the
buttons are rolled over the button extends itself out to the right.
On the rollout the button returns to its original state.) The 6 all
function fine.
The 7th menu button is the same idea but with the edition of
a two button drop down menu that appears when the main button is
rolled over. The roll over part is fine. My problem is moving the
cursor off the main button to get to the sub-menu items without
having them disappear once the cursor if off the main 7th button.
Within the time line of the 7th button (all of the buttons
are movie clip buttons) I put an invisible button, removing the
sections over both the main button and the sub buttons. I have
tried the following:
(I should point out that the labels within the button for the
animation are an _up, _over and _out states...the buttons animate
out in the _over label and animate back to the original position in
the _out label,)
The code and where I have (unsuccessfully) tried placing it
are as follows:
1.) On the invisible button itself (within the main button):

2.) On the Actions layer (within the main button):

3.) On the Actions layer (on the main timeline...which is
where the code for the other 6 buttons is and running as should):

The result for all four of these options has been the same.
In rolling over the main button (btnMusic_mc) it does animate out
as it should, exposing the two sub buttons. But moving the cursor
off the btnMusic_mc neither allows me to reach the sub buttons nor
does the btnMusic_mc animate back to its first position (as it
should). It just snaps back into that position.
Clearly I am missing something here. Any thoughts would be
appreciated.

I'm in over my head as far as javascript goes. This is what I
am trying to do. I have this URL...

I want to take the variable for ProdAbbr which in this case
is "shm" and make that a variable in javascript. So that I can add
the variable to a dynamic link I'm using for a drop down menu.

Auto-fill for drop down menu

I fill a drop-down menu with 200+ part numbers. How can i implement the capability
to type the first few numbers/letters to jump to the nearest part number
beginning with my input?

I think the problem may be with the speed that the comparisons are made.
If I type as fast as I can, I can get to the correct Number. If I pause for
very long (1/2 sec ??? ) during the typing it will stall out at the last match.
I am not sure if there are any settings for the keyboard (like typematic rate)
that would help any. Since most part numbers (at least the ones I use) are
in sequence this may be a real problem.
Ex.
323-1234-001
323-1234-002
It would be very difficult for me to get to the -002
I can type 30 wpm but the words are gibberish !!

How do you Make an Interactive Drop Down Menu in Adobe Acrobat Pro That Uses Hyperlinks?

Hi first off let me point out and apologise in advance for my ignorance and possibly my misuse of the correct terms, I'm new to this.
Anyway here goes, my best attempt to try and explain myself. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro I am trying to create a drop down menu that lists a set of documents. Once you click an item in the drop down menu it then opens up the corresponding document. So far example the Menu reads "Documents" and below it there is three options "Dogs" "Cats" "Hotdogs" when you click on "Hotdogs" you open up the document for hotdogs etc.
I have actually done it once before using Javascript and a combo box and I think basically you buried the links to documents in a series of bookmarks, the Javascript code then was basically a shortcut to activate those bookmarks.
So in short, could someone please tell me the code I would need to make this happen? I have looked extensively for the right forum post to see if my question has already been covered but I couldn't find anything and I possibly could have been using the wrong search terms.
Please ask me to clarify anything to help you understand what it is I'm asking.

Then you can just add your own bookmarks and they populate the pop-up menu automatically (including the hierarchy sub menu structure, you nest bookmarks within a main book mark.) which is a more efficient way than the one I used before.

Can't find "Libraries" under Windows drop down menu in Adobe Illustrator CC on Mac?

I was searching forums to solve my issue (as stated in the subject) but could not figure out why I am unable to see "libraries" on my freshly updated Illustrator CC w/ Creative Cloud. I am attempting to use an image captured in Adobe Shape but am unable to because the windows drop-down menu does not show libraries.
I was wondering if anyone was ever able to help someone solve there issues with this? Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to install Illustrator CC2014 which is version 18. You can log off from creative cloud Desktop app and login back and check do you have any option to install AI CC2014. Also please check your operating system meets the requirements for CC2014 version.

I have created a drop down list using enumerated drop down list from webdynpro native tab and binded in the object palette by giving $record.sap-vhlist.DESCR\.DATA\.FIELD.item[]* in the list items dynamically.DESCR is the field in the internal table into which i fetched data from the database table .I have written this code in a BADI.I dont know whether my form's display type is activex or native? I have done a dynamic drop down list in which DESCR field comes from database table and pops into the drop down dynamically. I was working for a PCR scenario so the adobe form was called from portal.I will tell u all the required steps.It might work for u as it is working for me:
1.In the form:
I used two elements from library first is a "ENUMERATED DROP DOWN LIST NO SELECT" from web-dynpro native tab and second is "ISR_TEXT DISPLAY INVISIBLE ON EDIT MODE" from ISR controls tab.Place them one on other inthe form.
For drop down list the setting are:
     In object, field tab click on list items there in ITEMS put :$record.sap-vhlist.DESCR\.DATA\.FIELD.item[*].in ITEMS TEXT write text in ITEMS KEY write key.
     In binding,in default binding put $record.DESCR.DATA[*].FIELD.
For text element the settings are:
     In binding,default binding put Normal.
     when we select ISR_TEXT DISPLAY INVISIBLE ON EDIT MODE it automatically comes with calculated read only int he value tab.so open script editor and place the below code:
$record.DESCR.DATA.FIELD (in calculate).
2.Now the code in BADI is as follows:
In BADI we have to write the code for drop down list in the METHOD "SCENARIO_SET_ADDITIONAL_VALUES"
As i didnt change the standard BADI i added an enhancement spot in which i wrote a function module which fills ADDITIONAL_DATA. and the below code fills the ADDITIONAL_DATA .

For DESCR field the we have to declare DESCR_KEY and DESCR_LABEL in the place holders for key values and palce holders for default values in characteristics tab(where all the fields for the form are defined) of ur respective scenario.(where ur pcr scenario is defined)

If ur form is not called from portal and u want a dynamic drop down list the difference is put a data drop down list and in object, field tab click on list items there in ITEMS select the field into which u populated the data from the database table (this code shud be written in code Initialization in the respective interface) and in ITEMS TEXT put $ in ITEMS KEY put $.and in binding as we normally do bind it to the respective field in which the data is populated from database table.
It should work.

Drop Downs in ISR Adobe forms

Pease respond to my qns regarding drop-downs.
1. Is it not possible to provide a blank value in the drop list at index 1.
when i tried to provide in the ADD_values method, due to the standard scripting for drop down, it gets removed. I tried changing the loop index in the standard script for the drop down. but it dumps.
kindly help me on it..
2. Is it posible to have column headers in the drop down.
i divide it into columns by providing space/hyphens in the additional values for the respective field.
3. Can we have some options which will provide search helps that looks anything like the one in R/3. i feel it is highly required when we have to select some values which are depended on a set of values. (so that the user can select the right one judiciously )
Any pointers or alternative suggestions are highly appreciated.

What release and support pack are you on for your ECC system? This is critical to what you can do. See SAP notes 741821 and 852235 and 952693 for release limitations.
Also please make sure you have the ISR Controls library - see SAP Note 947633 and 741381 - this give you a bunch of custom objects that you can add to your form including drop downs with and without preselected values.
It is possible to build something like a value help by using your own user commands - which you respond to in the QISR1 BADI implementation - and some additional characteristics to hold search criteria. The ISR controls will give you the script for the buttons.
Scenario is something like this:
1. Search criteria fields are initially hidden.
2. Button (custom user command) to "open up search criteria"
