Creating of a Sensor Action in BPEL ("OK button" out of order)

Hello, have a problem creating BAM Sensor Actions in JDeveloper version 10.1.3.2. In the "Create Sensor Action" dialog I can fill in all the required data but I'm not able to close the dialog using the "OK" button. The button can be clicked but nothing happens. This also occures to the "Create Mapping" and "Edit Mapping" buttons next to the "Map File" text field. So I can't generate the .xsl file.
(I have folowed this tuto : http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28981/sensors.htm ; but nothink is writen about that)
Does someone know what can I do to make it work?
Thank's

  • Automator - When using the Render PDF as Image action, the first file is out of order (naming).  How can I fix this?

    I am creating an Automator Action to render PDF files as Images.  When the PDF is multiple pages, the first page has no numbers, so it ends up at the end of the list.  Here's an example:
    When it is a single page, the result is:
    filename.png
    When it is multiple pages, the result is:
    filename 141.png
    filename 142.png
    filename 143.png
    filename 144.png
    filename.png
    First, it always seems to start at 141...not sure why.
    Second, I did try to add an action to rename and make sequential, however the resulting list was in the same order... except with additional numbers at the end.
    Any suggestions?

    I see.
    This worked when I tested on 1 PDF:
    The Run Shell Script Action is:
    basename=${1##*/}
    echo ${basename%.*}
    If it's still out of order, add: Sort Finder Items [by creation date] after Render PDF Pages as Images

  • Create a sequence of actions in the toolbar button in Visual Composer

    Hi!
    I've a problem with the toolbar buttons in visual composer. On a table, I would like to have one button which launch 2 actions. For example, I want to call an event (custom action) and after that I want to select a row in another table (system action, select).
    It works fine when I create 2 buttons with the toolbar buttons but my wish is to have only one button with several actions (like a sequence of actions). Is it possible?
    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Ronan,
    I think you can achieve your requirement by creating the Wizard in SAP Visual Composer.
    The following link provides the detailed steps to Create the Wizard in SAP VC.

  • Can't create BAM Sensor Action - XSD schema file exists

    Hi,
    In JDeveloper, I created some activity sensors and when I try to create a BAM sensor action it complains about the schema definition of the variable and that it should not be inline in the WSDL.
    The fact is that my BPEL process communicates with an external web service, and the variables that I'm using in the process are of the type of the message defined in the WSDL of the web service. So in the WSDL file of my BPEL process, I import the WSDL of the web service. And in the WSDL file of the web service, the schema of the messages is defined in a XSD file not inline in the WSDL. Thus the schema is imported in the web service's wsdl.
    It looks like JDeveloper assumes that it is defined inline, but there is a schema file. Does somebody encounter this problem? Is there a workaround?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Looks like I was wrong. I created a brand new project in Xcode and all I did as add "choose file name" to the applescript. It still gets a "EXCBADACCESS". I also tried a 'display dialog "Error"' in my applescript and it does the same thing.
    Here is the script the fails. Everything else in the project is default.
    script ChoosenewFile
    property parent : class "AMBundleAction"
    on runWithInputfromAction_error(input, anAction, errorRef)
    -- Add your code here, returning the data to be passed to the next action.
    display dialog "Error"
    return input
    end runWithInputfromAction_error
    end script

  • Configuration for JMS Adapter Sensor action and JMS Queue sensor action..!!

    Hi,
    Id like my BPEL process to send an XML message to JMS on Websphere,I was able to do this through a JMS adapter.But I would more like to add sensors into my process which would really do the same thing - send an XML message to JMS Q.
    Now I understand that there are two ways to do this,JMS Queue and JMS Adapter - thorugh bpel sensor action.
    I am able to use JMS Queue and it works fine , but adds its own xml tags to the message,Is there any way I could send only my xml payload as a message to the queue??
    Also could any1 tell me what is the configuration for JMS Adapter sensor action?
    Any suggestions how do I go about it??

    Hey Anirudh,
    Thanx for the response :-)
    All these hold good when I have an AQ adaptor right,But the thing is I want to send a message to a 'JMS' queue with out actually using an adapter configuration wizard and everythng..So I resolved to JMS queue Sensor action..Heres the xml snippet from the sensorAction.xml files which is generated..
    <actions targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS_Logging" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor" xmlns:tns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS_Logging" xmlns:pc="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor">
    <action name="JMS_LogEntry" publishName="" publishType="JMSQueue" enabled="true" filter="" publishTarget="jms/L_Queue">
    <property name="JMSConnectionFactory">jms/L_QueueCF</property>
    <sensorName>ActivitySensor_JMS</sensorName>
    </action>
    </actions>
    This works grt and adds messages to the queue..But adds its own header info according to the sensor.xsd loacted at the Oracle_home\bpel\system\xmllib\ folder.
    Right now the XML message added to the Queue is:-
    <actionData xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor">
    <header>
    <sensor sensorName="ActivitySensor_JMS" classname="oracle.tip.pc.services.reports.dca.agents.BpelActivitySensorAgent" kind="activity" target="AddLEntr
    y" xmlns:pc="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/sensor" xmlns:ns2="http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry" xmlns:tns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Test_JMS">
    <activityConfig evalTime="completion">
    <variable outputDataType="string" outputNamespace="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" target="$WriteL_Produce_Message_InputVariable/L_Entry/ns2:L_Entry/ns2:LCName"/>
    </activityConfig>
    </sensor>
    <instanceId>950016</instanceId>

    </header>
    <payload>
    <activityData>
    <activityType>scope</activityType>
    <evalPoint>completion</evalPoint>
    <durationInSeconds>0.011</durationInSeconds>
    <duration>PT0.011S</duration>
    </activityData>
    <variableData>
    <dataType>12</dataType>
    <data>
    <ns0:LCName xmlns:ns0="LC_Test1http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry">LC_Test1</ns0:LCName>
    </data>
    <queryName/>
    <target>$WriteL_Produce_Message_InputVariable/L_Entry/ns2:L_Entry/ns2:LCName</target>
    <updaterName>AddL_Entry</updaterName>
    <updaterType>scope</updaterType>
    </variableData>
    </payload>
    </actionData>
    My requirement is that I need to add a sensor to the BPEL process which posts 'Only my payload message to the JMS queue'..
    What I would want the message in the Queue to be is : -
    <data>
    <ns0:LCName xmlns:ns0="LC_Test1http://www.ulrhome.com/2008/10/L_Entry">LC_Test1</ns0:LCName>
    </data>
    Also while creating a Sensor action I get another option as JMS Adaptor,I am not sure of what value to type in this wizard..Heres what I keyed in..M sure this is not right..Cos it dosnt work :-)
    <action name="SensorAction_JMS" publishName="" publishType="JMSAdapter" enabled="true" filter="" publishTarget="jms/LoggingQueue">
    <property name="JMSConnectionName">Log</property>
    </action>
    </actions>
    Could any 1 tel me what values are the right values..And does JMS Adapter mean that I have to create a JMS Apator in the project and give that connection name as a Value..
    I am not finding sufficiant Documentation for 'JMS Adapter' so M clueless and right now any help will be appriciated :-)
    Regards,
    Akshatha.

  • Sensor Data in BPEL

    Hi
    I have BAM Sensrs in BPEL process at various activities. The data is published to BAM DO. How to check the logs, payload any details related . The sensor tabl in the BPEL COnsole...Does that show any details....bcoz I dont see anything there....
    Guide where to look the excuted sensors payload and whether it executed succefully or errored out..
    The only place where I go and look now is domain.log in BPEL and BAm Server log.

    Hello,
    To answer your question, I have install BAM on the same machine where BPEL server is running.
    Now I steel can't get sensor's data from BPEL:
    With BAM architect I can build data, with BAM studio I can use that data to design graphics but when I try to feed data from BPEL it doesn't work because I just can't press the OK button!!
    In BPEL : When I try to Create BAM sensor action (from structure panel), I can't generate the xsl map file no action is done when pressing OK, create mapping or edit mapping button!

    If you haven't already, I would post this question in the BPEL forum. I would expect a much better turnaround there.

    Thanks

    HI,
    What i was trying to ask is ,am trying to create a LOV in table's table action section.Its working fine till am trying to search any thing in the LOV,Now when i select a item the I.E page show a error logo below and the control doesn't come's back to the main page.
    So i want to know wheather creating LOV in table action section is feasible or not as in devloper guide things are mentioned on creating message components and message choice in table action.

  • Can't create new file automator action

    I'm trying to create a new Automator action that prompts the user to choose a new file. The Action is similar to the "Ask for Finder Items" actions except that it asks the user to choose a new file and not one that already exists.
    I chose to write it in applescript:
    script PicknewFile
    property parent : class "AMBundleAction"
    on runWithInputfromAction_error(input, anAction, errorRef)
    return choose file with prompt "Where do you want to save it?"
    end runWithInputfromAction_error
    end script
    When I try and run it, I get the following error message in the Xcode console.
    [Switching to process 10606]
    Program received signal: “EXCBADACCESS”.
    [Switching to process 10606]
    sharedlibrary apply-load-rules all
    No memory available to program now: unsafe to call malloc
    Data Formatters temporarily unavailable, will re-try after a 'continue'. (Not safe to call dlopen at this time.)
    kill
    Does anybody know when this happens?
    Thanks,
    Scott

    Looks like I was wrong. I created a brand new project in Xcode and all I did as add "choose file name" to the applescript. It still gets a "EXCBADACCESS". I also tried a 'display dialog "Error"' in my applescript and it does the same thing.
    Here is the script the fails. Everything else in the project is default.
    script ChoosenewFile
    property parent : class "AMBundleAction"
    on runWithInputfromAction_error(input, anAction, errorRef)
    -- Add your code here, returning the data to be passed to the next action.
    display dialog "Error"
    return input
    end runWithInputfromAction_error
    end script

  • Creating streams and sensor data hub

    Hi all,
    I am working on the Getting Started example from OTN ( "HandsOnSession.pdf" )
    and in the step to create stream and sensor data hub, am having a problem.
    I am working with the Standalone SES v10.1.2 running on a Linux OS.
    While running this command at the Linux Terminal,
    sqlplus system/welcome1@orcl
    I get a -bash: sqlplus command not found error
    I am in the <filepath>/edge/sql $ when I execute it.But I observed that my Oracle edge server install folder doesnot have a sqlplus folder which I think is by default installed in the Oracle_Home folder. There is a sqlj folder though , but am not familiar much with sqlj.
    Could anyone advise on how to connect to the database and create he SDH tables.
    Also in the sqlplus system/welcome1@orcl command, could anyone confirm if the syntax is as below,
    sqlplus <username>/<password>@orcl
    where
    <username> = username used to install the Edge server install
    <password> = password used to install the Edge server install
    would appreciate your response,
    Thanks,
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay!
    The EdgeServer doesn't have a full Oracle installation. Therefore a client tool such as sqlplus is not present. Install a Oracle Database on this machine (as I suspect you do not have a database yet) and use the sqlplus it comes with.

  • How to remove create placement option from action of HRMS people screen

    Hi All,
    Please can you suggest me the way to remove 'create placement' option from action field of UK Super HRMS manager responsibility or any responsibility .I have tried it by task flow approach.So kindly suggest different approach.
    Regards
    Akash

    There is a system lookup_type HR_PTU_ACTION_TYPES which gets these values.
    Not sure if you can disable it(unless you go by the Help - Diagnostics - Examine)
