Creating SDA (or other suitable archives) using ANT

I have just competed writing a LoginModule that calls our product from WebAS. Until now I was using the NetWeaver Developer Studio to create the SDA file. But we need to create the SDA file (or onother suitable archive file) using ANT scripts so our automated build process can create it along with deployment files for other platforms. Please let me know if anyone can provide any info on this. Search of the forums and help has not yielded any result the whole day.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, about a month back I discovered that I dont have to rename the zip file, but was too lazy to write it here.
About " do you have a task which deploys the sda to the server?" :
Search the forum. I remember reading something about deploying. There is also a PDF doc "Deploying J2EE Applications on SAP NetWeaver". I can email it to you if you cant find it.
I have some scripts that I copied from the forum but never used. You can check it out if it works:

  • B2B SelfService Error creating Trading Partner .zip import file using ant

    SOA 11g 11.1.1.5 B2B - We are trying to create an import file for out trading partners into SOA B2B 11g but are getting errors when we run the ant script to build the import zip file.
    We ran the ant-b2b-util to get the b2bselfservice.xsd file, loaded that into jDev to show the selfservice.xml structure.
    We have built a trading partner xml file and at this point have stripped it down to one TP just to see if we could get it to work and we keep getting the same error messages.
    From the $SOA_ORACLE_HOME/bin directory (where we have placed our TP xml file: TPD_NA.xml) here is the command and results from running the ant script:

    We have exported our metadata and looked at the doc_EDI_X12.xml file and ALL of these referenced documents exist in that file and can be seen by going to Administration --> Document and under the Document Protocols navigation --> EDI_X12 --> 5010 --> 810 --> 810Def (as an example).
    If we strip out all of the SupportedDocumentDefiinition lines then the ant script will build an import file with just the trading partners and Identifications.
    What are we doing incorrectly or what is not working properly to get the ant script to build the import zip file??
    Thanks for any assistance,
    Ken

    Does that mean we have to create all of the document type definitions in the selfservice file?
    We have created (installed) all of the document types by installing them from the B2B Administration --> Document page.
    The definitions in the Trading Partner xml file exactly match the definitions of the installed documents.
    In the selfservice.xsd the <element> SelfService shows the profile:DocumentProtocols as minOccurs as 0 :
         <element name="SelfService">
              <complexType>
                   <sequence>
                        <element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"
                             ref="profile:DocumentProtocols" />
                        <element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"
                             ref="profile:TradingPartners" />
                        <element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"
                             ref="profile:Agreements" />
                   </sequence>
                   <attribute name="version" type="profile:non-empty-string"
                        use="optional" />
              </complexType>
         </element>
    so we thought that since the documents had already been defined (created/installed) to B2B they would not have to be redefined in the selfservice xml.
    If we have to define all of the document types in the selfservice xml file that we are using for the trading partners what are the minimum values that we need to include?
    Could we use minimal definitions such as this:
    <DocumentProtocols>
    <DocumentProtocol name="EDI_X12">
    <DocumentProtocolVersion name="4010">
    <DocumentType name="850">
    <DocumentDefinition name="850def" />
    </DocumentType>
    <DocumentType name="997">
    <DocumentDefinition name="997def" />
    </DocumentType>
    </DocumentProtocolVersion>
    </DocumentProtocol>
    </DocumentProtocols>
    before the <TradingPartners> section of the seflxervice xml file?
    Thanks for your assistance!

    How to create above menstioned two files by using ANT Script.

    there is a jar for this file creation, "../Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.pageflow_11.1.1/adf-pageflow-rc.jar". The class that creates task-flow-registry.xml is "oracle.adf.controller.rc.TaskFlowRegistry.class[write(URL taskFlowRegistryUrl)]".

    Once I add the target I get the following error
    <JDBC> <BEA-001129> <Received exception while creating connection for pool "poolname" invalid arguments in call>
    Please any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    In your applicaion module configurations check if you are using 'JDBC URL' or 'JDBC DataSource'. You should use JDBC DataSource. Then make sure that your deployment descriptor (menu 'Application->Application Properties->Deployment) has the 'Auto Generate ...' checkbox set.

  • Need build.xml to create Ear file using Ant in jdeveloper 11g??

    Hi all,
    I think Jdeveloper use ANT to create Ear file and how to get build.xml from Jdeveloper.
    1) I have created ADF Fusion web Application having separte Model and View Controller.
    2) Now when I select View Controller project and then i create New ant-> Build.xml i get the required build.xml which can be used to create war file for my View Controller project.
    3) Similarly when I select Model project and then i create New ant-> Build.xml i get the required build.xml which can be used to create Jarfile for my Model project.
    4) If I select my application and then i click deploy... I'm able to create my ear file having both war file for View Controller and Jar File for Model.
    5) But I dont know how to get built.xml file which will create ear file having both View Controller and Model in it.
    Thanks a lot....

    However note the generated Ant script includes unnecessary targets. See the following blog post: http://one-size-doesnt-fit-all.blogspot.com/2010/11/using-ojdeploy-and-ant-for-creating-adf.html

  • Any way to create Execute Queues or set Load Order using ANT?

    Hello All,
    Does anyone know whether wlconfig or some other Ant tasks can be used
    in order to automate the creation of specific Execute Queues? We'd like
    to script and package this so as to avoid having the user configure
    queues through the admin console.
    I'd also like to find out if there is some way to set the application
    Load Order through wlconfig or wldeploy.
    I have looked at the WebLogic command reference here: http://e-
    docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/admin_ref/ant_tasks.html but don't see anything
    promising.
    Am I missing something? I'm not too familiar with all the scripting
    possibilities so any help would be much appreciated. We are using
    WebLogic Server 8.1 SP3 on Windows and UNIX.
    Thanks

    Thanks Anilkumar, but I was trying to figure out how to create these using

  • DataSource is getting created without desired JNDI Name using ANT task

    Hi,
    While referring to http://weblogic-wonders.com/weblogic/2010/07/24/datasource-creation-using-ant-task-wlconfig/ when we try to create a DataSource using ANT Task <taskdef name=”wlconfig” classname=”weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLConfig”/>
    We are unable to provide the Desired JNDI Name for our DataSource. It takes the DataSource Name itself as the JNDI Name of the DataSource. If we specify anyother JNDI Name then it doesnt reflect in the AdminConsole. But still the DataSource testing succeeds from the AmdinConsole.
    Is there anything Missing in the Ant Script?
    Thanks
    Jay SenSharma

    I think the attribute name should be JNDINames instead of JNDIName, this is also the name I always use in WLST (and is probably also used by wlconfig), for example,
    videotheekDataSource = cmo.createJDBCSystemResource('VideotheekDataSource');
    jdbcResource = videotheekDataSource.getJDBCResource();
    names = ['jdbc/exampleDS'];
    dataSourceParams = jdbcResource.getJDBCDataSourceParams();
    dataSourceParams.setJNDINames(names);
    Good luck and keep up the good work.

  • Packaging WebCenter 10g apps using Ant or other automated mechanism

    Hi,
    The WebCenter 10g framework developers guide assumes that packaging of WebCenter apps is done through a JDeveloper WebCenter Application WAR deployment profile. Other steps such as predeployment and deployment can be automated using Ant and/or command line scripts.
    However, we would like to automate packaging of WebCenter apps just like packaging "plain" Java applications. For example to make sure that the correct configuration files (web.xml, orion-web.xml, etc.) are packaged in the WAR file according to the target environment (development, test, acceptance and production). These have different URL's, security information and so on per environment. If using JDeveloper deployment plans, you have to modify and check these files which is error-prone.
    Is it possible to automate packaging or is a deployment profile the only way to achieve correct packaging?
    We have been experimenting with the webcenter:generateMdsExportSet task to export design time customizations to the file system and package the resulting files into the WAR. Afterwards use ssh Ant tasks to copy the generic archive to the target runtime, run the predeployment task and deploy the application using Oracle Ant tasks. Is this a "certified" way to achieve automated packaging (and deployment) of WebCenter apps?

    Hi the post you replied to is dated Dec 19, 2006 7:04 PM, is this a current one but just an incorrect date? Saw it in the list and was going to have a look but then saw the date. Is this resolved do you know?

  • Somebody has created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy.How can I resolve this?

    When I tried to create and apple id using my gmail account i found that somebody has already created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy. Now the problem is that the other guy also can reset my password and access my account.
    I contacted apple customer care and they are not ready to help me saying that I need to give information about the last device I logged in using this id. How can I give it when I did not create it?:) Also they are saying this account has been verified and that could happen only if someone has hacked my gmail account and verified the id using the link sent by apple.
    Later I did some experiments and found that this is a security flaw from apple. Somebody has created the id and never used it(I tried to loggin to icloud and it was saying this account was not used it any apple device). The account became verified when I reset the password.(This is a bug, account should be verified only when we click on the verification link sent by apple).
    The other mistake apple did is that they allotted my gmail account to someone before it's verified eventhough it cannot be used unless verified. Actually apple should allot the account id only after verifying the email address.
    Apple customer care is not ready to help and I am tired of fighting with them. Can any of you guys suggest any means of getting back my gmail id to use it as apple id?

    I don't think you're going to be able to. I would guess the other person used your address by accident, and when he found he couldn't access the account (because you'd changed the password) he abandoned it. Your GMail address is now locked to that account and even if it was changed you can't use it to create another.
    You already have an Apple ID, which you use to log in here; you can use that to create an iCloud account if that's what you are trying to do. If you want to create a different Apple ID just get another free address such as a Yahoo one.

    I don’t know why but  I create a WEB site and my friends who use a pc windows, have a lot of trouble when they open my movies.  The other friends who use Apple, they don’t have problem.  I have iMovie11 and my extension file is .m4v.  Is it because the extension .m4v is bad for windows ?

    No web site expert here but I would suggest changing the .m4v to .mp4 and ask one of those friends if they still have problems.  .m4v is something I always associate with iTunes and don't really see it used elsewhere.

  • Authorisation error when trying to create .sda files

    Hi ,
    we have NW 04s with SP14 usage type MI installed. We used template wiz to configure our system. When we bring up NWA and after providing necessary information under Mobile Archive Converter we consistently get error " You are not authorized to create SDA archives" . the user which is used to create this archive has role Admin as described in Config guide and this has been assigned to the user in MI abap stack via SU01.
    is there a way to find out what authorization is missing ? is there a log that I can read to find out more.

    Hi,
    there is an additional Role in the J2EE necessary for the user.... (well, that you have known already.... :-$)
    The name of the role is something like "J2EE Mobile Admin". This is missng in the config guide. Add it to the user and you should be able to upload SDA files via NWA.
    Hope this helps. Sorry that I do not have the exact name, but I am at the customer side at the moment with only limited access to the system.
    Regards,
    Oliver
