Creating User Components

Question

Is it possible to create a custom component or function in
Flash 8 that performes a set of complex animation features but that
can be hidden from the user such that they can distribute or modify
that code. Example I to license a custom animation tool (swf) to a
company so that they can generate animations for their website
customers. I want to protect the custom Flash action script code
(function or component) by either making it unviewable by the
franchisee or by creating a custom class that I can patent or
copyright etc. Actually what we wanted to do is sell the tool
pre-loaded with 5000 save animation operations. Then when they run
out of save operations they call us up pay another fee and we
access the flash application tool by way of a password code and
then set the new number of save operations they can use based on
their payment to us.

The final release (a couple of months away) will allow you to add standard JSF component to the palette. For now building those JSF components cannot be done with Creator.
