Creation of DR instance problem

Hi,
We created our failover (DR) instance by copying the DB and Kernel from production instance. Distaster recovery instance is up, but almost each and every screen is throwing some or other error like LOAD_PROGRAM_CLASS_MISMATCH, LOAD_TYPE_VERSION_MISMATCH, call_function_conflict_leng and so on.. Please help.

  • Creation of a symptom/problem in CRM.(Solution Database)

    Hi All,
    Can anybody tell me what are the mandatory parameters for creation of a symptom/problem in solution database.
    I am using a bapi:
    BAPI_SYMPTOM_CREATE
    can anybody tell me what all fields need to be populate for successful creation of a symptom.
    It would also be nice if you can throw some light on the use/documentation regarding this bapi.
    I am verifying the creation of symptom in table ISMP.Since when i create a symptom through transaction: IS01 it gets created in ISMP table but not through my BAPI. Please help.
    <b>Full points will be awarded.</b>
    Thanks in advance.
    ashish.

    Hi ,
    u can create problem and solution in SDB,
    by doing
    Basic settings-->define number ranges (this is done by BASIS guys on SAF)
    BASIC data filed is not required,
    problems(prob type , prob subtype,define application area)
    Solutions Solution type)
    confugure this fields only ,
    all the remaining fileds used to Activity, catalog Mgmt)
    dont go with bapi's
    u can use LSMW , this is better.
    otherwise copy paste all the FAQ's manually in the system , and compile the Server for Delta compile, fullcompile, cluster compile,

    Polaka

    Hi Polaka,
    the Error clearly tells the root cause...
    Some used DC's not avilable Locally, You Have to sync used DC's for the project.
    This means that the DC for which you have created project structure is now present on your Local client DTR, but the same DC is using some other DCs as dependencies. And these used DC(s) are not available on your Local Client DTR.
    Please perform the below mentioned steps...
    1) The DC for which you are creating the project structure, is having dependecies on other DCs.
    2) Open the public parts of that DC and check the Used DCs that are needed.
    3) You need to create the project structure of those used DCs too from Inactive DCs view.
    4) Also make sure that buildtime depencies are also sychronized from Active DC view.
    If the problem still persists, then i would request you to provide the following details.
    1) Types of the DCs that you are using.
    2) in the CBS web UI,
    -->(http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc.CBS.WebUI/WebUI)
    -->Here, find out the build spaces specific to your track inside Buildspaces Table.
    <SID>_<TrackName>_D
    check the Development buildspace of your track whether it is consistent or not?
    3) If the build space is having some broken DCs then provide the Logs of the Build failure on CBS for those broken DCs.

    Shreyas Pandya

  • Struts : creation of new row problem.

    I have a problem with creation of a new row, using struts.
    I've created simple struts browse-edit page. From browse page I go to 'edit-new' page. My object have a primary key - ID. I'm initializing it from sequence in create() method after call to super.create().
    So, when I'm forwared to 'edit-new' form from 'browse' form new row created with id taken from sequence. When I go back to 'browse' form by 'update' action it looks that another row created in View object (and onother ID is taken from sequence). Then, if I have right understanding of how it works, all attributes from first created row are copied to the second row. When ID is copied, I've got

    If I switch off filleng ID from the sequence everething works. It looks, that it fails, when It's coping ID (it gets two rows with the same ID).
    So, my question is - why two rows creating? And is there a way how to solve this problem, without switching off filling ID from a sequence (I really need this)?

    After reading this I am not sure what the solution is.
    I've created a VO that contains 2 EO's that are using sequence and NO trigger. I've tested this in the app module testor and it works. After using the Wizard to build a Struts/BC4J app I get the following when pressing "update" after creating a new record - "JBO-25013: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[279 ]".
    Charles Gayraud suggested changing the method that sets the PK but I'm not sure what to change as there are 2 sections that deal with setting the PK, neither of which match the methods in Charles suggestion. see below
    So what is the solution here?
    Thanks,

  • Bulk Creation of target instances & sync

    In looking through the Extensibility doc it looks like emctl (config agent addtarget) would be used to
    do a bulk create of target instances. Is that correct?
    Using an example of a plug-in to monitor an application server domain and creating target instances
    for each server and cluster (in an automated fashion). The plug-in would be installed on one agent.
    Run and OS job/ program which would make a jmx call to find the clusters and servers then run the
    emctl commands to create the target instances.
    Is that how something like this would be done, or am I missing a more straightforward way?
    Now to keep the OEM target instances in sync with the application server domain, I'm thinking I need
    to periodically compare the emctl listtargets info to what is currently in the application domain.
    This question is just related to trying to "import" the tree of managed items (meaning the target
    instances).

    There are 2 utilities you can use to create target instances: emctl and emcli.
    emctl is local to a specific agent and you must be on a particular agent's host to run its emctl
    With emcli you can install the emcli client wherever you want and it will talk to the OMS to do the instance creation. You'll have to specify which agents you want to put the target instances on, but through a single emcli client you could create target instances on every agent in your enterprise.

    Why don't you just implement the RSAPrivateKey and RSAPublicKey interfaces?

  • Sales order -  automatic creation of purchase order - problem on Credit Che

    Hello,
    We have a problem in sales order.
    For one item, we have an automatic creation of Purchase requisation, but we have to give manually the price in the purchase requisition.
    The problem is when we have give the price, the automatic credit check is executed, and the purchase requisition is not created if we block on this credit check.
    When the credit controller, released the Sales order (VKM1), the purchase is not created automatically because the field for the price in purchase requisition is empty and required.
    And when we come back to the sales order, we need to fill the value and the credit check is running a new time. .....
    and we have a loop.
    I have check in OSS Notes, and I not find a solution.
    How can we solve this problem
    Regards
    Jean-Claude Onderbeke

    Hello Buddi,
    It's impossible to change the price in PO, because the PO is not created.
    The problem is on the creation on the PR in the Sales Order.
    I'm not able to create the Purchase Requisition due to Credit Check, and I'm not able to make an automatic credit check because the value price in the PR is not filled automaticaly, and it's required.
    It's a loop known by SAP, but not solve.
    I hope that someone has found a solution to this strange behaviour.
    Regards
    Jean-Claude

  • SSDT: Creation of localDB instances from project file - Sql Server Unit testing purposes

    I have a SqlServer Database Project in my solution (VS2013 Professional) which has a corresponding test project with some stored procedure unit tests. Currently I am using a LocalDB and as far as I understand a local database instance is created in C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft
    SQL Server Local DB\Instances\Projects and the specific .mdf file referenced in the SQL Server Object Explorer is in C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\SSDT\[ProjectName]. The unit tests run fine on my local machine which I have developed
    the project on.
    My issue is we have a box which is configured to check out the project file from our version control, build the project using ms build commands and then run the unit tests using VSTest.Console. Usually with C# Test projects we reference the test project
    dll and the unit tests run fine. I have referenced the dll for the test project with the stored procedure unit tests in.
    With the Stored Procedure unit tests however we get this exception:
    Initialization method [project].[spTest].TestInitialize threw exception. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 50 - Local Database Runtime error occurred. The specified LocalDB instance does not exist.
    After some digging I have realised that the localdb instance seems to be created when the project itself is created in VS not when it is built. Specifically when the localdb is first used and if you look into the appData folder of the test machine there
    is no corresponding mdf file for the project.
    The question is is there a way to set up a localDB instance on the new machine if all you have the project file? The only purpose of the project on the test machine is to run the unit tests, no other development purposes. VS2013 Professional is installed
    on the test machine but a solution only using config file changes or MSBuild/VSTest commands would be preferable.
    I realise you could change the connection string to an actual test database and run the unit tests of that but we quite like the localdb approach for the testing. I also realise that you could potentially transfer the mdf file (haven't tested this solution)
    as well, though I would prefer if there is a solution to my initial question.

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh309441(v=vs.110).aspx
    I have been reading up on LocalDB and I assume a automatic LocalDB is created when you create a sql server database project (ie on localdb first use). I have tried adding the database creation to the test project config file but do not really know where
    to go from there. The second link does not really specify when the named localdb will be created if you add the config items and I am not even sure if that is an actual solution.  Here's my test project config file for reference

    </configSections>
    <system.data.localdb>
    <localdbinstances>
    <add name="SimpleUnitTestingDB" version="11.0" />
    </localdbinstances>
    </system.data.localdb>
    <SqlUnitTesting_VS2013>
    <DatabaseDeployment DatabaseProjectFileName="..\..\..\SimpleUnitTestDB\SimpleUnitTestDB.sqlproj"
    Configuration="Release" />
    <DataGeneration ClearDatabase="true" />
    <ExecutionContext Provider="System.Data.SqlClient" ConnectionString="Data Source=(localdb)\Projects;Initial Catalog=SimpleUnitTestDB;Integrated Security=True;Pooling=False;Connect Timeout=30"
    CommandTimeout="30" />
    <PrivilegedContext Provider="System.Data.SqlClient" ConnectionString="Data Source=(localdb)\Projects;Initial Catalog=SimpleUnitTestDB;Integrated Security=True;Pooling=False;Connect Timeout=30"
    CommandTimeout="30" />
    </SqlUnitTesting_VS2013>
    Thanks in advance for any response. Sorry if there is any misunderstanding, while I have been using VS to develop from the start, this is the first time I have used a Sql Server Database Project.
    Regards,
    Christopher.

    Yes, you can create a LocalDB instance manually. You use the SqlLocalDb utility, see here:

  • Creation of relationship instances using Java

    Hi,
    I have the same problem as described in this thread: Creating a Relationship between 2 PublicObjects needs admin privilages
    Because nobody answered the original question, I post mine now:
    I am trying to create a custom relationship between two iFS documents. I follow exactly the procedure described in the developpers guide of Oracle 9iFS (9.0.1). It is nowhere mentioned that administrative rights are needed to instanciate relationships. However this is exacly the compaint iFS is sending back to me: I must switch to administrative mode before creating the relationship between two objects.
    I guess I am not the second people trying to instantiate relationships in iFS. Is it a policy, property or ACL problem ?
    Is there a workaround for this ? Unfortunately, I have no admin session available at the time of the relationships creation.
    Thanks,
    Tristan

    I finally managed to create relationships without switching to administrative mode.
    The clue is in the "<oracle.ifs.beans.PublicObject>.addRelationship" method.
    The code on page 6-52 of the Developer Reference of iFS 9.0.1.1.0 describes how to relate two objects po1 and po2 with a relationship.
    po1 is set as the left object and po2 is set as the right object.
    rdef is an object describing the to be created relationship.
    The last statement is:
    Relationship r =(Relationship) session.createSystemObject(rdef);
    This is what I used in my code and was not working. Now, I am using the method "addRelationship(rdef)" to create relationships (described in the JavaDoc), and that one is working as expected:
    po1.addRelationship(rdef);

  • Creation of an event : problem with the container

    Hi Gurus,
    I'm facing a problem in creation of an event.
    I'm in SAP ECC 6.0 for a migration project from 4.6B
    In an ABAP program I'm trying to create an event in order to launch a workflow.
    1st step : Set datas in the container -> In INTERNAL_TABLE I have 5 lines.
    swc_set_table event_container 'INTERNAL_TABLE' t_cnp_container.
    2nd step : Create an event :
      CALL FUNCTION 'SWE_EVENT_CREATE'
              EXPORTING
                objtype              = w_wf_objtype
                objkey               = w_wf_objkey
                event                = w_wf_event
                creator              = applicant
                start_recfb_synchron = 'X'
              TABLES
                event_container      = event_container
              EXCEPTIONS
                objtype_not_found    = 1
                OTHERS               = 2.
            IF sy-subrc <> 0.
              MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
            WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
              WRITE sy-subrc.
            ENDIF.
    Now when I check my container with SWI2_FREQ I see that INTERNAL_TABLE has just one ligne, the rest disapears.
    I have this problem only when I set an internal table in an container
    I don't know why, but it perfectly works on 4.6B.
    Thanks a lot
    Walid

    Hi,
    I dont see a point in having this statement
    swc_set_table event_container 'INTERNAL_TABLE' t_cnp_container. Infact it is not needed !!
    SWE_EVENT_CREATE like any other FM, take a
    lt_var type standard table of SWCONT.
    ls_var type SWCONT.
    fill your ls_var with all fields and append it to lt_var each time and pass lt_var to event_table of SWE_EVENT_CREATE. It should work !!
    However, suggested way is to use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT instead of SWE_EVENT_CREATE  from ECC 5.0 onwards. There are fe concerns with SWE_EVENT_CREATE mainly with respect to commit and persistancy. Better we should use SAP_WAPI* as much as possible from ECC 5.0.
    Try above and Good Luck !!

  • Workflow instances problem

    My problem is that in workflow i am sending workitem for manager approval.If manager rejects the workitem it goes to employee back for correction and resubmission.But what is happening once workitem is send to employee for correction the current workflow instance is completed and when user changes the report and resubmits it a new workflow instance will be created.This all increases load on the working system.
    Can we keep the same workflow instance working till report is rejected or accepeted and then only workflow instance is completed.

    I think you can make use of Function module
    SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT
    in a virtual attribute that will check whether any existing wflow is already triggered for it. If yes set the Flag(Virtual attribute) value as X. Make use of this attribute in th Start ciondition of the wflow in SWB_COND Tcode.
    Now in your workflow the approval step should be inside a loop that loops until the request is approved. Inside the loop the approval step should be in fork with 2 parallel branch and 1 necessary. In 1 branch put approval step and in other branch put the Wait for event step.
    Thanks

  • Adobe Form - SO Creation Offline scenario - Posting problem

    Hi,
    We have created offline adobe form for Sales order creation using ABAP Workbench SFP.
    After entering the Sales order details, this form is emailed to SAP to create SO and SO is created in SAP.
    Our requirement is when user1 send this form to SAP, SO has to be created by SAP user1.
    and when user2 send this form, SO has to be created by SAP User2.
    For this we have maintained Inbound distribution list in SO28. but problem is not solved.
    Please help...

    Hi ,
    I am also creating the SO form.
    I am new to adobe so i dont have much idea about it.
    Plz explain step by step how to proceed and also how the form should be uploaded in case of OFFLINE forms.
    I have created a Z table having all the required fields to create a SO.
    Then i have created an interface in SFP having import parameter as type of Z table.
    Then i have created the layout for the form having header data and item data.
    Am i required to give any submit button,If so then wat is the functionality of it.
    Please help me how to proceed further in creating and uploading the form.
    Kindly  tell me step by step procedure.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Servlet instance problem

    Hi
    I am have a web application that does a lot of processing. when 2 users submit the form.. i noticed that one instance of the servlet is running and the other request waits for some time for
    processor and just dies off.. Servlets are suppose to be thread safe and 'n' number of intances can be created . why only one
    instance running at a given time.. My servlet is not a single instance servlet and i have not placed an restrictions of that sort..
    can anyone help me with this ??
    rgds
    satish

    I have written the processing part in dopost method.. which takes a few seconds to finish for each instance (creatting a huge array of objects ). Then i keep the reference of this in session. While the objects are being generated, if i send another request the first servlets dies and the second one proceeds , sometimes second one dies off after waiting for something..
    yes i am testing by 2 users from 2 different machines.its not the connection problem.. the systems.outs show that both the servlet instances are running at one point of time then suddenly one dies.. i have allocated 1000m to tomcat... so memory is not a problem i suppose..
    Any helping tips ?

  • Remove subform instance problem

    HI there
    I am using the following code to remove the last subform instance
    subform.instanceManager.removeInstance(1)
    However in test it appears to be removing the last instance but one.
    Can anyone help me fix this.
    Thanks
    Darren

    Hi Paul
    Many thanks for your quick response.  When I added that to my form it removed the first instance rather than the last instance.  I had a look on the links here and for any one else that has a similar prob the following seems to have fixed the problem
    subform.instanceManager.removeInstance(subform.instanceManager.count-1)
    Thanks again
