Creative Cloud membership question

Does anyone know if I can use my Creative Cloud membership on other computers? i.e. can I download Premiere and after effects on my work computer using my account log-in?

I have Premiere and After Effects installed on one computer so far and I just installed it on this laptop i.e 2nd system but after installation it says "start trial".....
But why is it a trial if I pay monthly and I'm allowed 2?
Unless I click start trial and then activate it from there but I just don;t want to take any risks and risk starting trial now so please somebody confirm xd

    Same way as you did the first time.
    Sign in to creative.adobe.com, download the Cloud desktop app then download the software.

  • Is it possible to host sites on Business Catalyst without purchising Creative Cloud membership?

    Hi, gotta quick question. I've started designing a few sites in Adobe Muse and have been hosting them on external servers that the client already has a contract with.
    I like the idea of hosting on Business Catalyst but I don't really see the need for the Creative Cloud features as I already own all the Adobe Software I need.
    So the question is this:
    Is it possible to host websites with Adobe Business Catalyst without a Creative Cloud membership and if so, how do I achieve this?

    There are a number of options for you. You can become a Business Catalyst reseller and host your clients. Or you can host with one of the existing Business Catalyst partners, like us . No need for a Creative Cloud subscription.

  • BC and a Creative Cloud Membership

    I might be jumping the gun a bit but I saw this at the bottom of the new BC Site:  "Receive five complimentary Adobe Business Catalyst sites with an Adobe Creative Cloud membership." The find out more link did not answer my question which is:
    If I purchase a Creative Cloud Membership what level of sites are we talking about here? If it is let us say a webBasic Site do you pay the difference in cost to upgrade from Basic to  webCommerce?

    Hi Magda, I have watched the recording of the April Town Hall Meeting and really regret not attending now! I will make sure I get there for the next one.
    The new DW integration with BC looks great. Amazing to be able to go into BC Admin, which I call BC back end, by just clicking a tab, instead of having to have a browser open on my other screen to check things.
    I still do have a couple of questions from the meeting though:
    1. With Creative Cloud, does subscription give you access to Adobe software, or is there also a charge for the software? I can't work that out from everything I have read. I have a really old version of DW, InDesign and Photoshop, and need to pay a full $1500 fee for CS6. So if I can get access to the latest versions of those programs for $65 a month, that is a lot easier for our business to handle.
    2. With the new DW, with the new integration with BC, when you preview in a browser, is the preview online and live? (rather than looking at the file saved on your hard drive) if so that is a great improvement
    3. With the File download all sites option, will downloading the 86 sites our business has take very long do you think? It looks really great for doing webpage and customisation backups. I understand that I will still need to download data dumps of webapp items, newsletter members and shop products by going in to the back end, but that looks like a great time saver.
    4. With templates, at the moment in DW, I cannot access the templates area in a BC site by creating a template folder on the local site in DW (on my hard drive), making a template and then uploading it. BC gets confused and does not add it to the templates list in the back end. So I have to create a blank template in BC back end, then download to DW and work on it, remembering to save it as a .html file and not a .dwt file. I can create a stylesheet in DW in a stylesheets folder on my local drive and upload OK. I would be interested to see how the CSS side of things, linking templates to a stylesheet etc are now done.
    Overall, I can see that for our little business joining the Creative Cloud is what all three staff will need to do, instead of our various versions of Adobe products we are using at the moment. (My husband will have to have his Photoshop 7 version pried off him! lol! He has so far refused to update it.)
    This is all a brave new world for us, as we have been with BC since 2006 and learned how to do all this on the job, with a bit of web training at TAFE in between. I can see a greater learning curve here! But I am getting a bit less worried about it all now. Vlad has been doing a great job counselling me in various posts, including our LinkedIn group.

    I purchase the student package with understanding from the sales person that I have access to the software after one year where only the update and the cloud will not be accessible, but with the end of my subscription I was forced out of the software until renewing cloud membership which I don't need or use. Thus after reading the agreement license from the support document it seems I was taken for a fool to believe the person assign to answer my questions when buying the package has tricked me to believe otherwise maybe it is April fool joke.

    Yes, you are right regarding the activation & after performing this step when you launch a preinstalled CC product, you might get
    a prompt of "expiring or renewing" the subscription, there will be a prompt of "license this software" sign in with the new Adobe ID
    with which you have signed in the CC App desktop.

  • Order status for Creative Cloud memberships and CS6 subscriptions

    I didn't recieve the CS6 id, and the Chat Man said it doesn't exist for my account. He thought I got duped. When I sent him the link to the dates of purchase allowing for the upgrade he said this was only applicable if I was given the second order number for CS6. Therefore I was not going to get the upgrade. So I finally got someone on the phone, Maria, although she was in tech support, because sales was not avilable, she hunted down the challenge in about a half hour and got me an order id. But if you are stuck in the loop trying to find accountability at Adobe. Just keep calling until you get Maria :O) she fixed it! But customer service at Adobe is a lot like Apple, where you first gotta find the number and then sit through a lot of irrelevent content and be transfered around before your call is dropped and then hopefully on the third, fouth try, you can hopefully find somebody who got the memo and will stay with you till the challenge is resolved. Both CS6 and Creative Cloud are currently unlicensed due to a snafu with my educational license, but I have a new CS6 license that I am trying to register CS6 with. However, upon launching any CS6 program, Adobe Application Manager then launches and tells me that my Creative Cloud membership is now expired. How/where to I enter my CS6 license key? I have already tried entering my new license on my Adobe account profile > “My products and services”, and reinstalled CS6 applications from my original disk image (MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg).

    Figured this one out from another thread, after which I was able to sign in again with my Adobe ID and my software was ready to use:
    Windows:
    Delete these folders
    SLStore from C:\ProgramData\Adobe
    SLCache from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
    OOBE from C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
    Mac:
    Delete SLStore and SLCache from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
    Delete OOBE from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

    Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
    1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
    2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
    3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
    Please let me know of that worked.

    If you have licensed versions of software that you purchased separately from your Cloud subscription you can still use them.  There is a chance that the Cloud will have taken over for them in which case you may have to uninstall, clean things up, reinstall.
