CreativeWorx Time Tracker Extension

When trying to add the CreativeWorx TimeTracker extension to my lap-top, it gives me "This extension cannot be installed because licensing verification failed." Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,
It seems like other people have been having this same problem with other add ons when installing them from Creative Cloud:
Failure to verify licensing error when attemtping to install Portraiture
The problem could be a network firewall blocking your Creative Cloud Desktop App from reaching Adobe's licensing servers or it could be a temporary problem with Adobe's licensing servers.
The easiest work around would be to login to https://timetracker.creativeworx.com/ and download the latest version of our extension directly from the Download Center which can be found in the Welcome menu in the top right corner.
If you're still experiencing problems please feel free to email us at [email protected] any time as David said and we could walk through more involved troubleshooting steps together to help us to understand the problem so we can write it up in our FAQs.
Thanks for your interest in and use of TimeTracker!

  • Time tracker

    Hello, I need a time tracker that automatically tracks the usage of applications (especially Pages and browsers) and I can input categories on it.
    creativeworx.com
    Created TimeTracker and does exactly what I wanted but I can't get it to work with Pages, it works with browsers and Word but not Pages and they don't answer me.
    Is there something similar to this application?
    Thank you!

    Here's another, not free:

  • How to use MS Project in conjunction with a time-tracker tool

    In my new job, the company is using a time-tracking tool in a very strict way.
    Allow me to explain...
    Let's say the project has two phases: Ph1 and Ph2.
    Ph1 starts on day 1 and effort is 5 days.
    Ph2 starts after Ph1 and effort is 10 days.
    There are 3 resources available, R1, R2 and R3, and after a careful estimate of skills and avilability it has been decided the following:
    - Ph1 is assigned to R1 from day 1 to day 5, resulting in a duration for Ph1 of 5 days.
    - Ph2 is assigned to...
    ...R2 from day 6 to day 10
    ...R3 from day 8 to day 12
    resulting in a duration of 7 days.
    The above is mapped into the time-tracking tool to allow each resource to track time against Ph1 or Ph2 only in the aplanned timeframe. That is: R3 will be able to track
    hous aganst Ph2 only from day 8 and only till day 12. That is to avoid that resources track more time that what was originally allocated: if this is necessary, it must be explained why, a new plan must be calculated and more budget must be allocated. When
    the ok is given, the tasks in the time-racking tool will be changed accordingly.
    If the above situation is clear, my question is: how would you model this in MS Project?
    If the WBS in MSP is simply
    1. Project X
    1.1 Ph1
    1.2. Ph2
    when allocating R2 and R3 to Ph2, how can I specify that R2 will work only from day 6 to 10 and R3 from day 8 to 12?
    At the moment the only clean solution I found is to go into the task usage view and adjust, for each day, the working hours of each resource assigned to the activity.
    A second less clean solution is to have a WBS like follows
    1. Project X
    1.1 Ph1
    1.2. Ph2
    1.2.1 Ph2.R2
    1.2.2 Ph2.R3
    that is split Ph2 into two sub-activities, one for each resource.
    Thanks fo any help.

    Thanks a lot to both of you for your suggestions.
    Unfortunately the time-tracking tool cannot be changed: it is a new SAP based tool deployed worldwide.
    The problem is that each project involves different teams from differnt countries for a fixed "budget" (or a fixed number of man-days). Therefore there is a global PM in London that will define in the time tracking tool
    a WBS like this
    1. Project X
    1.1 Analysis
    1.1.1 Analyse impact for team in Rome
    1.1.2 Analyse impact for team in Amsterdam
    1.1.3 Analyse impact fr tam in Bangkok
    1.2 Development
    1.2.1 Develop A
    1.2.2 Develop B
    1.2.3 Develop C
    1.3 Customer Acceptance Test
    1.3.1 Prepare test environment by team in Amsterdam
    1.3.1 Test by final user
    1.3.2 Support user testing by team in Rome
    then he would assign the development tasks to the rsources that are supposed to work on it and for only the estimatd time. The reason is easy: he want to make sure that a resource tracks time only against the task she is supposed t work on and for only the
    estimated number of days, to avoid exceeding the budget. If extra effort is required for a resource on a task, before allocating more time on that task, a long battle will start.
    This we cannot change.
    The problem now is on our side, the teams in Rome/Amsterdam/Bangkok: we must keep our own plan in MSP. Our tam in rome is divided in 4 sub-teams, one for each module of the core product, each team with a team
    leader assiging tasks to resources with Asana. Untill las week, for months, there was not PM in Rome leading the four teams and hand and of course there was no global plan for the tasks in Rome.
    My first attempt was to try with a Gantt that would stop at phases level, without going down to task level, that are under responsibility of the 4 team leaders. the reason being that we have something like
    25 projects, some with dependecies with each other. I simply wanted to avoid having one huge MSP file with all projects down to task level: by experience, in my previous project (an ERP upgrade for Oracle EBS in FAO) this approach did not work very well.
    But this is bringing up he problem I described: if I stop at "1.2 development" in the WBS, than when I assign R1 and R3, to mak sure their effort is planned accordingly to what has been setup in the time-raking
    tool, I need to edit work in the task usage resource by resource, activity by activity.
    The other option is to insert under 1.2 development another level with all tasks from Asana, each task being assigned to one resource:
    1.2 Development
    1.2.1 Develop A
    1.2.1.1 Develop class x (by R1)
    1.2.1.2 develop class y (by R3)
    1.2.2 Develop C
    1.2.2.1 Develop new pricing interface (by R4)
    1.2.2.2 Modify all logos (by R7)
    A third option would be to have one dtailed plan for each project down to the Asana task and then one higher level plan summarising all projects, down to phases only.

  • Display of Column Headings in Time Tracking System

    Hi
    In Time Tracking Application, instead of displaying the Day of the week like
    MON, TUE , Wed, Thu, Fri , Sat, Sun
    iS it Possible to display along with the date like below in the column headings based on the week
    selected?
    Mon TUE WED THU FRI SAT SUN
    03 04 05 06 07 08 09
    Can any one helo me on this regard.

    Hi,
    Please check if you are created the elements for the dynamic node and corresponding attributes are set.
    if you want to display the corresponding column heading in the dynamic table you should use ResultSetMetaData, like retrieving of data from table using ResultSet.
    ResultSetMetaData rsm =(ResultSetMetaData)st.executeQuery("select * from <Table_Name");
    IWDTableColumn tabColumn1=(IWDTableColumn)view.createElement(IWDTableColumn.class,"Column1");
    IWDCaption column1Cap=(IWDCaption)view.createElement(IWDCaption.class,"column1Cap");
    nameCap.setText(rsm.getColumnName(1));
    tabColumn1.setHeader((IWDCaption)column1Cap);
    like this you can add columns to table and set column headings.
    regards

  • Project time tracking application recommendations?

    Hi all,
    I'm a freelance worker and am having trouble finding the right time-tracking and project management software "for me."
    I'm using Adobe Klok, whose interface and layout I really like, but as it's based on a web app, it's a little cumbersome to use (I like using more keyboard shortcuts and having a more flexible interface).
    The dream feature I'm hoping exists out there is something that lets me activate the program with a keystroke (like Spotlight or Quicksilver) to just type in text in order to update whatever I'm doing. I often switch what I'm doing every 10-15 minutes, and updating Klok on what exactly this is so often is irritating and hard to stay up on.
    Anyone have any recommendations?
    Thanks!
    Alec

    You should find several such applications by searching at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

  • [SOLVED] Time tracking app outside Gnome

    I used to use hamster-applet in Gnome, which I loved for time tracking. Over the weekend I've converted myself to DWM, so using hamster is out. I've looked around and haven't found any real options other than a webapp called SlimTimer which I used back when I was on another OS which I won't mention by name. However, if available, I'd prefer something that can be used offline as well.
    What are the tiling WM users doing for time tracking?

    There are a few in the AUR. Just search on the http://aur.archlinux.org/ page for "time track" or the like.
    If you do use yaourt, try a search like
    yaourt -Ss track | grep time
    Personally I used gnotime for several years. It still works but development has apparently ceased.

  • Optimise time tracking for Mac and iPad version

    Hi,
    I'm trying to improve a time tracking table for our photography community projects to be used on Macs and iPads. It should show the name, day and time. Something like this:
    Name  |  Day/Date  |  start time  |  finisch time
    In Numbers 09 I formatted start and finis as durations like 10:30 to 14:30 and calculated the duration. Numbers 3 doesn't  handle this format for input, only 0h 0m which isn't common in our region to display time.
    When I use the "time" format (which can be input as 00:00), the iPad version will still ask for the date (in all three columns). The date can be ignored at input (automaticlly set to today) when using only the hours and minutes for further calculation, but then I'll have to explain why it doesn't matter to have a different dates in the "day" and "time" columns.
    Any ideas for a better way to handle this?
    p.

    Hi papalapapp,
    I don't know whether you have noticed that Numbers 3 is smart (sometimes too smart) about recognizing strings (text) as dates and times.  This may be an instance where its smartness can work to your advantage.
    So in this table, for example, the Date column is formatted as Date & Time, StartTime and FinishTime columns as Text, and Time Elapsed as Duration. As you can see from the formula, Numbers happily calculates the duration between the strings in FinishTime and StartTime.
    This enables you to enter the times in your preferred format (as I understand it).  On the iPad the date picker won't activate in those columns (because they're formatted as Text) but the times are quite easily typed in the preferred format and you don't need to worry about different dates appearing in those columns.

  • Time Tracking Software

    Hope no one minds a topic that really is a bit too general for a Java Forum. It's just that I really value this community's advice.
    Have you worked for teams that used time tracking software? Which ones and how'd you find them in terms of red tape vs. visibility into how much multi-tasking and priority switching is going on.
    I feel fortunate to work with a team that switches tasks on a dime, and a management team that is willing to look at some level of detail. I can always explain what we switched who to and why, but I'd like to do everyone the favor of skipping the narrative and providing something formal.

    Thanks Chuck. Definitely not looking for minute by minute! I just want to demonstrate in a formal report how each staff is contributing to multiple systems. For example, it'd be useful to show specifically how short-term need A was prioritized and took a share of time from long-term need B or how Project A was eclipsed by new higher priority Project B. Half-day or quarter day increments are probably sufficient. I want something that doesn't feel like red tape. One to two minutes a day is all I expect a worker to invest. I'm downloading a Track-IT demo for starters.

  • Times ten extension

    After installing the times ten extension sql developer is totally trashed. NOTHING WORKS. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKS. I downloaded SQL*Developer w/JRE and installed. Worked fine. Then I imported my old connections. Worked fine. Then I installed the extension. Nothing works. I keep getting stack traces. I am running Windows 2003 server.
    I just installed times ten from the CD I got at OpenWorld. (Which comes with the old version of SQLDeveloper that is incompatible with times ten).

    I reentered did my search and found the answer. You all need google or something to improve searches. It wastes my time and yours.
    Anyway, thanks. :-)

  • Time Tracking System

    I attempted to install the Time Tracking System from the Oracle Application Express Studio site and was not successful. It did not load all of the required tables for which to load the xml files into. Any help on this appreciated.

    John,
    Were any errors reported during the installation?

  • Assistance with time tracking document

    I am working on a time tracking document, and I need to create a total on the first page of the document based on the selection of a drop down box and a total time field.
    Basically on the reverse side of the form, someone enters that they spent 15 mins on paperwork (drop down list number 3).  I then need to review all the entries on the reverse side of the form to add up all the time that the individual spent on 3 ie. paperwork, 2 telephone, etc.  (there are 30 rows).  I would want the the time to automatically fill into a simple chart on the front of the document. That chart will then have a total which would equal the amount of hours worked.
    I'm new at adobe, and have tried a variety of ways to run it with no avail. I can accomplish it for a single box but can't get it to compute correctly when I add additional fields.   Is this possible?
    In addition, I need to have the time on the fill in portion of the form be in real time whereas the chart on the front needs to be changed to quarter hours, which I think I have figured out.
    entry on reverse                                                            chart on front
    Start      End     Total Time     Work Type                      Paperwork:     3.75
    08:00     08:15     :15               3                                    Telephone     2.00
                                                                                          Training:        2.25
                                                                                          etc.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Thank you GKaiseril for your response.
    I wanted the results in decimal hours.
    I have used the attached calculations, and it works perfectly with the exception for anything that that runs to or past 00:00.
    This form will be used by public safety; therefore there is a good chance that they take an incident call at 11:45pm and it goes past the midnight hour.  From your other posts, you have indicated that there is a lot of script writing to be done before this happens.  Obviously, I don't have the capabilities to do this so I just wanted to double check with you before I try to figure out a work around.
    function Round(nValue, nPrecision) {
    // round a number a given precision
    return util.printf("%,101." + nPrecision + "f", nValue);
    } // end round
    function Time2Min(cFormat, sTime) {
    sTime = sTime.toLowerCase();
    // adjust for 12:MM am
    if( (cFormat == "h:MM tt" || cFormat == "hh:MM tt") && ( (sTime.substr(0, 2) == "12" && sTime.substr(6,1) == 'a') || (sTime.substr(0, 2) == "12" && sTime.substr(5,1) == 'a') ) )
       sTime = "00" + sTime.substr(2, sTime.length - 2);
    // convert a formatted time string to number of minutes since midnight
    // get time object
    var oTime = util.scand("mm/dd/yyyy " + cFormat, "01/01/1970 " + sTime);
    // convert to milliseconds
    var nTime = oTime.getTime();
    // convert to milliseconds to minutes and return value
    nTime = nTime / (1000 * 60);
    // return round to whole minutes
    return Number(Round(nTime, 0));
    } // end Time2Min
    function TimeDiff(cFormat, cSTARTRow, cENDRow) {
    var nDiff = 0;
    // get the value of the time in and out fields
       var sOut = this.getField(cENDRow).value;
       var sIn = this.getField(cSTARTRow).value;
       // compute if we have both values
       if(sOut != "" && sIn != "") {
          // convert time string to minutes and compute difference
                nDiff = Time2Min(cFormat, sOut) - Time2Min(cFormat, sIn);
          // convert to hours
          nDiff = nDiff / 60;
       }   // end if sOut & sIn
       // return rounded value
       return Round(nDiff, 2);
    individual field
    var cIn = "STARTRow.1", cOut ="ENDRow1";
    event.value= TimeDiff(HH:MM",cIn, cOut;:

  • Time tracking app

    I'm looking for advice on a time tracking app that will allow me to quickly enter a start/stop time from the home screen. So when I'm working on a project and another project becomes 'more important', I can quickly switch between start/stop.
    Start/stop times won't be billable, but will need to be sorted.

    Have a look at myWorkTime it might be what you are looking for, it is a universal app.
    I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link. <Edited by Host>

  • Time tracking widget/ application??

    Hi...I am looking for a time tracking widget or application. I work in a manner similar to an attorney where I track billable hours by assignment. I am not looking for an app that I have to click a timer. Just one to simply enter a date, short description and hours worked. I am looking for a stand alone app that is NOT tied to some online service. Any ideas??

    You might want to look at Mac time tracking application OfficeTime (http://www.officetime.net). It has overwhelmingly positive comments on VersionTracker and MacUpdate.
