Credential in java

Hy everybody
I need to access to a webservice, it run under IIS. This web service is develeoped in C# (.Net) and it needs a credential to be used; otherwise the web service response with this message:
(401)Unauthorized
In c# (.Net) is sufficient two line of istructions, to have the credential:
UserManagerWS ws = new UserManagerWS;
ws.Credentials=new System.Net.NetworkCredential(USERNAME,PASSWORD,DOMAIN);
How can i obtain the credential in java?And in which way?
Thanks
Domenico
PS. i have used the method setUsername and SetPassword of the object org.apache.axis.client.Call but the web service responce always (401)Unauthorized

I can call the service from SOAP UI by providing username and password.Where do you provide username and password in SOAPUI?
Service endpoint is like : https://myhost.com/ccx/service/hr...It is a SSL call so you need to configure the trust and identity keystore at Weblogic (SOA) server as well. make sure that you have imported the target server's certificate (along with it's CA if any) in your trust store of weblogic. You may refer-
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13707/identity_trust.htm#i1202182
If it is two way SSL then the target server will also need your server's certificate in it's trust keystore.

    Hi,
    did you provide your credential during the Adobe installation process (as far as I know, you have to install the Adobe Document and not only deploy these).
    You have to provide the credential and enter a password during the process, or it does not work.
    The last info I have is that you get credentials by entering a customer request at SAP, component BC-SRV-FP, but that might have changed...

    Hi Shobhan,
    Thanks for your reply. I checked the ADS in portal system and it is installed. By checking configuration guide, I did basic authentication steps. When I checked by running the webservice with ADSUser and password I can see the version number.

    Hello,
    Have you requested a credential file from SAP? It is described in SAP note:
    #736902
    If you have this in the configuration guide you will find how to install the ReaderRights alias in the VA.
    The password for the credential is in the response message from SAP in the customer ticket. If you have lost the password open a new ticket and SAP will send you the password again.

    Hi,
    Now I can work and connecting on it after importing connection files/parameters what created from another site of that Repository. And also can possible to do new connection.*
    But my question is why not getting proper message, why need to waste time about this type of error?*
    In JDeveloper 11g versions have lots of meaningless exceptions another is NullPointerException. Why not give us prompt with proper and valid information. I am very much tired about finding and identifying this types of BUG :)*
    Wish will be resolved by releasing a patch ASAP.*
    Regards

  • Expired credential file

    The credential file downloaded from the 'SAP NetWeaver Trial and Preview Versions' section of SDN isn't valid anymore. Will (and when) a new credential be available? And in which way, will it be available?

    Hi Markus,
    I just followed your link and tried to install the files, after the old one expired last month.
    Unfortunately I can't use the Adobe Document Services. He always throws me the following exception:
    com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Error during call to AdobeDocumentServer: Processing exception during a "UsageRights" operation.
    Request start time: Fri Nov 10 12:40:24 CET 2006
    com.adobe.ProcessingError: Error while retrieving a password for credential: ReaderRights:
    java.lang.Exception: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights
    With the old expired files the ADS worked.
    Do you know how to solve my problem?
    Thank you in advance.
    Kind regards, Patrick.

    2. Add the pdf forms to webdynpro application and set "sss" to the inputfield("Text Field") through context in the WDA.

    Hi Volker,
    Thanks a lot for your help.:)
    When I compile the WDA, the WDA don't occur any error. The WDA occurs error when I run the WDA.
    1. In the st22 transcation code, I found the following code:
    method RAISE .
      DATA: error TYPE STRING.
      error = MSG_STRING( msg = msg a = a b = b c = c i = i j = j k = k ).
    ************************begin of error************************************
      RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE CX_WD_GENERAL EXPORTING msg = error.
    ************************end of error*********************************
    endmethod.
    I think the method RAISE is invoked by CREATE_ADOBE method at the point:
          if sy-subrc ne 0.

          cx_wd_general=>raise( msg = lv_adserrstr ).

  • Error using the test console of the Oracle Service Bus 11gR1

    Hi I am facing a an issue while using the test console of the Oracle Service Bus 11gR1 .
    Every time I try to execute a business service or a proxy service I end up getting the following message.
    Error Accessing Test Configuration
    *"Test Console" service is not running. Contact administrator to start this service.*
    In fact to add to my frustration I am unable to execute any of my proxy services from outside clients like SOAPUI as well.
    Is anyone else facing this too ??
    Also every time the server starts I can see some diagnostic error messages on my Eclipse console.
    *[ERROR] AdapterManager - ServletContainerAdapter manager not initialized correctly.*
    Attached the whole log at the end below.
    To provide an update on my trouble shooting
    1. ) I tried to give the IntegrationAdmin and IntegrationDeployer roles to my admin user. in fact i also tried to give it all the possible privileges.
    Result: Still the same error message.

    This is really putting me off and its really disappointing to see all these issues in this new release.
    How can oracle let a release slip in with such a Major Issue.
    Please can any one help or provide a work around atleast.
    Regards
    Nitin

    I guess till version 10gr3.1 you only needed to start one server and it allowed to access both admin and service bus console.Yes, in 11g as well you may access the admin and OSB console by just starting the admin server but in 11g OSB configuration gets deployed on OSB server (managed server) and test service also runs over this server.
    Are you saying there is some other server I need to start just for running the test console ????Yes. Managed server osb_server1 needs to be started for deploying, testing and accessing OSB resources.
    As If the OSB server was not running how can I check my published services, modify them and do all the bits and pieces after opening the open the service bus console but not just test them???You can modify and save your configuration without staring OSB server but if you will check in change centre then all the changes being done without starting OSB server will remain in partially activated state.
    I have been using the service bus for 3 years and I have never faced any such issue.With each new release you may get new features and with a major release like 11g, architecture and functionality may change.
    If it all there is some other server I need to start then whats the process to do so ??Open command prompt. Navigate to $Domain_Home/bin and run command
    startManagedWeblogic.cmd <nameOfManagedServer>
    for eg. -
    D:\OFMW11g\mw\user_projects\domains\ofmw_domain\bin>startManagedWebLogic.cmd osb_server1
    Once this server is up and running, try using test console.

  • Logging SQL parameters in Database Adapter??

    Hi there!!
    We'd like to be able to log all the parameters that are used in a SQL operation in Database Adapters. So far, we've been able to log the query with '?' instead of the real parameters. For example: select t.* from tsupcontact t WHERE t.idsupplier = ? AND t.idproject IS NULL AND (t.iduser = ? OR ? IS NULL)
    But we need to be able to see the actual parameters that are passed to the query (we're having some trouble with the database adapters and we need to see what's really going on the database).
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

    You need to edit the the aslbdebug.xml file in ./user_projects/domains/<your domain>. Then go into the weblogic console and change the levels to debug. You will get lots of debugging. Below are the settings in my file.

    Hello  Markus,
    let's say I have two systems. One - X - installed J2EE+ABAP and configured WD pdfobject WS proxy to point to second system - Y - with correctly configured ADS (inculding Redaer Rights Credential). Do I have to setup this Reader Rights Credentila also on system X ?? Do I have to setup something else on system X to work with Interactive forms in WD Java on system X ?
    PS: Our ABAP calls from X to ADS on Y are working okay, but I didn't try WD ABAP as basis is too low.
    Thanx, Richard.

  • [WebServcie] How to make multiple Filters in QueryService

    I am a newbie to the BO Development and I encountered some problems when I try to retrieve data from a BO universe. I am trying to create a query with multiple filters, using the web service SDK,  shown as followed:
    //Build a filter
    QueryCondition boQueryCondition = QueryCondition.Factory.newInstance();
    Filter boCondFilter = Filter.Factory.newInstance();
    Filter boCondFilter2 = Filter.Factory.newInstance();
    boCondFilter.setFilteredObject(boQueryResultObjects[0]);
    boCondFilter.setFilterOperator(FilterOperator.EQUAL);
    boCondFilter2.setFilteredObject(boQueryResultObjects[2]);
    boCondFilter2.setFilterOperator(FilterOperator.EQUAL);
    Operand[] boConditionValues = new Operand[1];
    Values boFreeValues = Values.Factory.newInstance();
    String[] boConditionValueString = new String[] {"2005"};
    boFreeValues.setFreeValueArray(boConditionValueString);
    boCondFilter.setOperandArray(boConditionValues);
    Operand[] boConditionValues2 = new Operand[1];
    Values boFreeValues2 = Values.Factory.newInstance();
    String[] boConditionValueString2 = new String[] {"1"};
    boFreeValues2.setFreeValueArray(boConditionValueString2);
    boConditionValues2[0] = boFreeValues2;
    boCondFilter2.setOperandArray(boConditionValues2);
    ConditionBase[] boConditionBase = new ConditionBase[2];
    boConditionBase[0] = boCondFilter;
    boConditionBase[1] = boCondFilter2;
    boQueryCondition.setItemArray(boConditionBase);
    boQuery.setQueryCondition(boQueryCondition);
    boQuery.setQueryResultArray(boQueryResultObjects);
    boQuerySpec.setQueryBase(boQuery);
    // Create the query
    ReturnProperties  boRetProp = ReturnProperties.Factory.newInstance();
    boRetProp.setIncludeQuerySpecification(true);
    DataProviderInformation  boDataProviderInfo = boQuerySrv.createDataProvider(boUniverseUID, boQuerySpec, boRetProp);
    String boQueryDocRef = boDataProviderInfo.getDocumentReference();
    The code shows some errors when generating the query.
    DataProviderInformation  boDataProviderInfo = boQuerySrv.createDataProvider(boUniverseUID, boQuerySpec, boRetProp);
    The code goes fine when I was following the steps provided by https://boc.sdn.sap.com/node/18569. However, error occurs when I try implement another filter.
    Please advise if anything goes wrong.
    By the way, I'm writing a Java application where I have to do my own presentation of the data, but I'd like to use BO get the data.
    I am currently having a work routine like this:
    1. Login to BO Enterprise Credential via Java API
    2. Run the QueryService to create a document object
    3. Run the ReportEngine to read the document object and show  the result as a XML.
    4. Parse the XML and retrieve the data.
    It seems that it is quite a stupid way to perform the task. Would you mind advising a better way?
    I have spent quite a lot of time to reading docs to see if WSDL operation provided by QaaWS is suitable for the task but not enough sample can be found.
