Credit Management Problem

Hi Experts,
I have used sold-to party SP1 to create 2 sales orders SO0001 and SO0002, using payer PY1 and PY2 respectively.
Both PY1 and PY2 exceeds credit limit. Our system will block GI if credit limit exceeds.
Later, 2 delivery orders DO0001 and DO0002 created. Afterwards, we found that payer of SO002 was incorrect, so we changed payer from PY2 to PY1.
When we want to release the delivery in VKM4, we find that DO0002 is still under payer PY2. I would like to ask if the only way to fix it is to delete DO0002 and generate again (actually we have many orders in this case with WM operations completed, we do not want to delete DO)? Thanks.

Are you looking at just the open receivables against the limit?? Remember that SAP can be configured to consider open orders/delievries/invoices in addition to receivables.
What information does FD33 give you??
Regards,
Brian

  • Credit Management Problem (VKM1/VKM4 Transaction)

    Dear All
I wanted some details on VKM4 transaction.
The issue is that even after releasing credit block of Sales Orders through VKM1 transaction they are still being displayed in VKM4 transaction. Please note that even the invoicing is complete for these sales orders, but still they are in VKM4 transaction.
Even if I release documents from VKM4, they just do not go away. When I release the document it displays a message that the document has been released, but when I go out of the list and come back the sales order appears again in the list.
Can you please advise why this might be happening?
Does it have anything to do with the statuses that are displayed in the VKM4 list like "Static check" , "Overdue open items"?

    Dear satish,
This t-code is for reporting purpose,
Where you can see document on the basis of status.
    SD document
    Overall document status
    Overall credit status
    Next shipping date
    Date of next credit check
And like VKM1, SAP also provided release option from this t-code also.
    So don't bother about it,

  • Problem With credit management

    Hi everyone!
I have the following problem: I have a client with a limit of 1000USD assigned.
When I create a sales order for  1200USD, the sales order is not blocked
. In the OVA8 I have enabled: check static, reaction "C" ,block status, control area allocated to the company, and credit check on position.
    Can you help me?
    Greetings to all.
    Juan!

    Hi Juan,
I suggested to check the report CHECK_CM. You are not sure whether credit check is happening or not first chek this. follow the below steps and find out whether creit check is happening.
Enter the transaction code SE38 or SA38 and press enter
ABAP editor initial screen or ABAP program execution screen appears.
enter the program name CHECK_CM and execute the transaction.
You will be faced with Analysis of SD document with regard to credit management screen appears.
Enter the order number and check the both check boxes More explanations and display individual check boxes and execute the transaction.
You will be faced with the report of credit check which happened for the order. If check has not happened checking credit masteris of no use.
check the payer customer which system considered for evaluating the credit check then check the credit limit of the customer in FD32(Credit Master)
    Hope this explains

  • Problem with credit managment for FI-documents

    Hello,
is there any possibility to modify the value "Total receivables" for the creditmanagment?
I customize the position-type as not active for "credit active" and the values for the sales part are set correctly for the credit managment.
But everytime I create an invoice and the FI-documents are created, the value for the "total receivable" in report
    RFDKLI40 is wrong.
If I create a new sales document then, the creditmanagment checks with the wrong value from "total receivable" and that´s wrong.
    Line " where vbeln = lt_vbrk-vbeln
    and cmpnt space."
    in report LVFDSF02 is set.
    Thanks for your help

After Apple tightened up some security issues the stores have been a bit more picky about the format of the billing address. Most folks who have encountered this issue have been able to solve it using the standardized addressing format created by the US Postal Service. Go to the USPS Zip Code lookup website and enter your address. Copy your address exactly as the USPS formats and presents it into your iTunes account.

    Gail,
The following Query looks at the Order Total of the Order you are entering, the total balance of all previous orders and the Account Balance and compares with the Credit limit.
    SELECT DISTINCT 'TRUE' FROM [DBO\].[ORDR\] T0 INNER JOIN [DBO\].[OCRD\] T1 ON T0.CARDCODE = T1.CARDCODE WHERE T0.CARDCODE = $\[$4.1] AND T1.CreditLine < (T1.BalanceT1.OrdersBal$\[ORDR.DocTotal])
You will need to save this query and creare an Approval Procedure
The process of creating Approval Procedure is explained in this thread

  • CO-PA, is credit management suppose to block orders from posting to CO-PA?

We are currently using CO-PA to track the $ amount of sales orders that were booked for a particular date range, and it will show the sales order created or changed and the $ amount that was added or taken away from the bookings for that day.  This report is to show management how much sales has been recorded for the day, but not necessarily shipped out yet.
What we are currently facing is problems with credit management blocking the order from posting into the CO-PA tables.  When the order is created and the order desk hits save it first goes through credit management, and if it is put onto the blocked order lists to be released it does not post the value that was created for that day into CO-PA.  Also when we run our rescheduling report for orders that have already been created the order can again go back and forth on and off credit hold, and each time it posts an entry into CO-PA.
I was wondering if anyone has been requested to have a report written to record bookings of sales for a particular day, and have you run into the issue of the credit management posting over and over onto the report and how do you get around this.
We just want to see if any new orders have been created for that day, if current orders have been added on to or taken off from, and have a report to show the order #, dollar value and quantities.
    Thank you,
    Karen Kim

    Dear Karen,
You cannot see blocked SD documents for credit check in CO-PA. Values are transfered to CO-PA after the sales order is processed or after the billing document is posted.  So if the sales order is not
processed because it is blocked for credit check, naturally it will not be transfered to COPA. The logic to exempt orders on credit hold was implemented in release 40A.
To overcome your problem you may implement the modification described in the note 214059. Please be aware that this is a modification note. Please implement in a development environment first and retest.

  • Down payments u2013 Credit Management, Sales Value FD32.

    Hi,
We have a problem with the credit management in Down payments. The down payments requests are not decreasing the Sales Value of the client. I mean when I bill a down payment, the sales value of the client in transaction FD32 keep with the same value. I have to bill the next milestone where the down payment is cleared to decrease the sales value of the client.
    Billing Plan
    1º Down payment      200
    2º Final Billing           1000
Bill the down payment. Sales Value FD32 = 1000. It should be 800?
Bill the Final Invoice. Sales Value FD32 = 0.
Are there any way in the customizing to modify this behavior?
Thank you in advance and best regards.

    Hello Alberto,
As you mentioned down payment of 200 and final bill of 1000, generally down payment is received at the start of activity. If you have credit limit say 500 and you receive down payment of 200 then system store down payment in separate GL account and when you carry out business, system first consider consuming down payment and then credit limit. So down payment never consider as sales till it get cleared off as it is before start of business as extra security to manage risk
Same thing happen when you do business with letter of credit
Hope this will resolve your confusion

  • Sales Order Line Items User Exit - Credit Management/ Exposure Calculation

    Hello Folks
I am looking for a solution to a peculiar problem we have in credit management.
In case of Drop Ship sales order life cycle, the system automatically creates two line items per sales order - one each for Freight and Handling Fees. these are NOT relevant to schedule line delivery, nor are they billed to the customer along with the material billing. The default update rule for credit control area concerned is 12. The system, on finding line items not relevant to schedule line delivery automatically switches from rule 12 to 18. This leads to Open Deliveries field (S067-OLIWW) being updated instead of Open Orders (S066-OEIKW) on saving the sales order.
Once the sales order is billed for the material, the system should logically display net value as zero for the open order (as the 2 lines of fees and freight are not yet billed, the order is still open). But the system considers this figure at SALES DOCUMENT HEADER level and considers the net value as the total value of the sales document (including the material that is already billed).
What I am looking for is if there is an exit available whereby the system considers only those line items whose billing status indicator is "not complete". As such, the net value should be updated to the S067-OLIKW field net of the billed items.
Please advise if there is any such user exit available. Also, is there a way to customize this? We are exploring this at our end, but would appreciate an expert advise. Right advise will be awarded with brownie points
    Regards

VKM1 uses FM SD_ORDER_CREDIT_RELEASE to release orders on credit.

  • XI and Credit Management in FSCM 6.0

    Hello,
We have ERP2005 with FSCM and want to use the Credit Commitment interface ( http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_01/helpdata/en/43/2a1c518e5f601fe10000000a422035/frameset.htm ) to pass FI-AR data to SAP Credit Management via XI. The sender is the FI-AR system and the receiver is the SAP Credit Management system Both FI-AR and FSCM are on the same ERP2005 system and XI is on a seperate system.
I have downloaded the XI content for the the intefaces CreditCommitmentNotification_Out and CreditCommitmentNotification_In and set up the configurartion so messages come out of ERP and the determined receiver is the same ERP system but my problem is with the receiver communication channel. The SAP help link referenced above says I should be using the communication channel XIChannel. Can someone help me and tell me what type of communication channel this is and what I have to do set it up please.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Pete

    Felipe,
Thanks for the info it solved the problem and the interface works now. For future reference in case anyone has the same problem the scenario is as follows
    Sender                  = ERP (FI module)
    Sender interface     = http://sap.com/xi/PI/FIN/Operational/Global
    Sender namespace = CreditCommitmentNotification_Out
    Receiver = ERP (FSCM)
    Receiver interface     = CreditCommitmentNotification_In
    Receiver namespace = http://sap.com/xi/FSCM/Global
No interface mapping is required just set up the receiver determination with receiver determination to use a receiver communication channel of type XI.
    Thanks,
      Pete

  • Availability Check , Credit Management

currently when sale order is blocked due to credit management check and released after few days ( say 2 or 3 days) the availablity check is not activated .( it means that the delivery date will be the old schedule line date) but the document is released after couple of days due to business reason.
The solutions which we are currently working on
    1) we have found a user exit in system modifications - not meeting our requirement.
    -  we need to run thre availablity check when it is released from vkm1 or vkm3 as though we are entering new lines in va02. ( release date will be the current date)

    Hi,
I'm not sure whether I understand your problem proberly. But perhaps you have a look at the program SDV03V02 (Transaction Code V_V2). Perhaps you can run it as a job and got the new availability after release the sales order for credit check.

  • Special Liability Issue in Credit Management

    Dear all,
A down payment was cleared against an invoice last year. But that value is still showing in the credit management Special liabilities. Special liabilities in CM show value Total of the special G/L transactions which are to be taken into consideration when checking the credit limit. The orders are being blocked because of this. what should i do?

    Hi Shahzad Khero,
I also facing this problem, the Special Liabilities amount is exist, but cannot be found under t-code FBL5N with special G/L indicator checked.

  • How to Cater Credit Floor Policy in Credit Management

    Dear Guru's,
    Here is the issue,
My client has policy of credit ceiling and credit floor ,which  are:
    Credit Ceiling:
During the month O/s balance should be raised up to the Maximum Credit Ceiling, if any sales order  proceeds beyond Maximum Limit the system should block the Sales Order unit the balance payment received.
    Credit Floor:
Its is the limit at which a customer should be at the end of the month. No  sales order of the subsequent month can be processed until the O/s balance reduced up to the credit floor level
To my understanding Credit Ceiling concept can be mapped in sap as normal credit management but the credit floor doesnt.Anyhow if any other solution is there plz post it

    Hi,
Both of your requirement Can be solved through Credit managment :
    Foe Later One :
Overview Screen --Control Area data -- -Status
there under Credit Horizon date : Give here the month end date (so that only those orders whose value falls with in the horizon date will be taken in to account for calculating credit limit)
NOW under Automatic Control Setting :(for spc combin of ur customer (CCA+ Ris CAt + Cred Grp + Crd Cond) :
CHECK :Item Check( By doing this system will block the sales order ...just when we enter the material)
CHECK : Dynamic (by doing it system will ignore all the orders which are due for delivery after HORIZON Date).
Hope this will solve your Problem.
    Thanks!

  • Credit Management- KRML Output not generated for Sales Order ( v.v.u.)

<u>Credit Management - Credit control check at Sales order Level</u>
While saving the Sales order, which failed the Credit check ( As per Automatic Credit Check Settings), there is no output generated for output type KRML, for Partner Fn KB/KM. Normally,If credit check is NOK, then while saving the sales order, an internal mail is sent to the SAP office inbox of the Credit representative ( KB/KM). There is option for an external send also. The problem faced by us is that, the mail is not going in SAP Office inbox in quality server , it is going in developement server. We checked in table NAST that the Output for KRML (o/p type) is not generated. Kindly suggest what could be the reason.
    Regards
    Sunil Kumar

    Dear Mr. Gauravjit,
Thank you for your valuable reply.
At the Extra-Output-Header-edit-goto-det analysis ,system give message as KRML o/p is not generated since Requirement 009 is not being fulfilled. But we checked the VBUK-CMGST = B is satisfied. Still the o/p not generated!
Also , in VV11 we maintained the Cond Records. Still the o/p is not coming.
The output is coming in Devlopment , but in Quality the output is not coming.
    Can anybody please help !
P.S. I am colleague of Mr. Sunil Kumar, and reply on behalf of him.
    With Best Regards,

  • Credit Management - Check for Item Payer

    Hi All,
Credit management is checked at header payer level. For cleint requiremnt , we want this check for Item payers.
Is there any possibility for the same.
    Thanks in advance
    Regs
    Madhu

    Hi,
The credit check will happen with the credit account which you maintain in FD32, it can be any partner function. But, in standard SAP it happens for a sold-to-party.. which means we normally maintain SP as a credit account in FD32.. and logically it's the right way..
Now, coming to your query.. if you maintain the credit account for the payer then system will perform the credit check for that payer only.. it doesn't matter if it is maintained at header level or item level.
Hope this will clear your doubt along with the problem.
    Do let me know.
