When I turned it back on awhile ago, I discovered this problem.  on top of that aI can't even clear the history everything is gray out except for the Earlier today, and the day and date of the month. I tried several times to quit Safari, turn off and turn back on my lap top to no avail.  My question is; How do I go by to in getting this error message when I click on Safari? Does that mean that I might have a virus in my lap top? Please Help.  Thanks.

  • I keep receiving security errors when trying to open a pdf.

    I keep receiving a security error when trying to run my javascript program, the function previously worked, but now creates an error after I entered the addWaterMark function. I have put my whole code below for my script.
    The basic function is to load a text file into an array which has the path and file location, open the document, add a watermark, save the file, close the file, then repeat for the next array position.
    I am using Acrobat Standard so I am unable to debug using the console, therefore I am struggling to understand what I am doing wrong. I will point out that I am not a fluent programmer, only have a basic knowledge of programming.
    Code
    app.addSubMenu(
      cName:"Extras",
      cParent:"Edit"
    app.addMenuItem(
      cName:"Import File",
      cParent:"Extras",
      cExec:"main()"
    function main()
      var fileCount = 0
      var listOfFiles = []
      listOfFiles = importData()
      amountOfFiles = listOfFiles.length
      for (var i =0; i<listOfFiles.length; i++)   //calculates amount of entries in the array listOfFiles
      newFile = openFile(listOfFiles[i]) //Opens current file
      var d = app.activeDocs; //Gets current document title name
      addWater(d[0]);
      app.execMenuItem("Save");
      for( var x in d ) d[x].closeDoc();
    function addWater(myName)
    { app.alert("watermark",0);
      myName.addWatermarkFromText(
      cText: "OBSOLETE",
      cFont: "Arial",
      nFontSize:36,
      aColor: color.red,
      nOpacity: 0.5
    //function SaveFile saves the current file but with an addition of WM to the filename
    saveFile = app.trustedFunction(function(currentDoc, currentFileName)
      { app.alert("savefile",0);
      app.beginPriv();
      currentDoc.saveAs(currentFileName);
      app.endPriv();
    //function openFile which opens the file named in the variable currentFilename
    openFile = app.trustedFunction(function(currentFileName)
      {app.alert("openfile" + currentFileName,0);
      app.beginPriv();
      app.openDoc(currentFileName);
      app.endPriv();
    //importData function imports the paths and filenames contained in the list.txt located on the desktop
    importData = app.trustedFunction(function()
      {app.alert("import",0);
      app.beginPriv();
      cFilePath = "/C/Users/103019944/Desktop/File_List.txt";
      var stmData = util.readFileIntoStream(cFilePath);
      var cData = util.stringFromStream(stmData);
      var cMsg = cData;
      var fileArray = cMsg.split("\r\n");
      for (var i =0; i<fileArray.length; i++)
      return(fileArray);
      app.endPriv();

    I have found the error, you are quite correct I had an extra letter in the filename, I thought I'd checked this but just shows that sattention to detail is the key.
    The script works perfectly now, thanks you for your help, really appreciated.
    Thanks again
    Ben

  • Security error since upgrade to JDK 7u13

    I've developed an application with javaFX embedded into a browser.
    No problem since 2 month.
    But since the upgrade to JRE 7u13, I've a security error (my previous version was 7u11).
    Caused by: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.util.PropertyPermission" "mapAnyUriToUri" "read")
         at java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(Unknown Source)
         at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(Unknown Source)
         at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPermission(Unknown Source)
    My javaFX component is signed with a custom certificat and use JAXB.
    Is anyone have the same problem? Somebody have found a solution?

    Log a bug against the Runtime => http://javafx-jira.kenai.com
    There was a somewhat similar issue with Ensemble earlier (also a signed embedded app)
    http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-26971"Sample Showcase (Ensemble) does not start"
    Ensemble also wasn't starting due to access permissions on a property lookup. It was an issue with a different property though as ensemble's encountered the error trying to access "java.net.useSystemProxies".
    I'm sure what was done to fix Ensemble as I don't have access to the patch link.

  • Failed to add app with security error related with c2wts

    Right now, we are facing some weird issue when adding our app to customer's SharePoint site.  When site collection admin clicks our app to add it, he would get a popup page with title "Access Required" and message "Sorry, you
    don't have access to this page", however he is already site collection admin.
    At the SharePoint logs, we saw the following exceptions:
    SPSecurityContext: Could not retrieve a valid windows identity for username 'company\user' with UPN '[email protected]'. UPN is required when Kerberos constrained delegation is used. I did some reading over the SharePoint code and also searched over internet, I found out this link:
    Adding App Causes Security Error where the similar error is thrown as well and he fixed the issue by reconfiguring the c2wts services.  His issue is slightly different from mine. In his case, end users won't be able to add in the first time
    and they would get "You Can't Add This App Here" message while in our case the error is thrown during adding the app.
    Why we would need the c2wts services here for adding an app if user is already logged in SharePoint via windows authentication?  Could someone confirm that would be the root cause for this failure since I also see the stack related " at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPAppPrincipalPermissionsManager.UpdateAppOnlyPolicy(SPAppPrincipalInfo
    appPrincipal, Boolean allowAppOnlyPolicy)", just wonder if AppOnlyPolicy=true which our app requires has anything to do with this as well. Again, I could not find anything related article about that specific configuration is required to allow app with
    AppOnlyPolicy.
    Another weird thing is that it only happens at sites with managed path. At root site, the app could be added without any problem.
    Any suggestions are highly welcome and really appreciated. This is on a big customer. :-) Thanks in advance for your insights.

    This issue can occur when you change the name of the "Application Name" within Visual Studio, then deploy to BizTalk with the new name.  Problems is the DLLs are still assocaited with that earlier deployment name in BizTalk.  So go into BizTalk
    Admin Console, then navigate to:  BizTalk Group - Applications - Then for each application check the "Resources" folder.  Under one of these folders you should see your DLLs are already assigned to one of these other BTS apps.  So you need to
    delete the resources from the app (or delete the other apps) then your new deployment name will work.

  • Yosemite - multiple errors - found FileVault error - Solution found

    My early 2013 13" MBP Retina with a 700GB SSD suddenly started having multiple minor errors immediately after upgrading to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, and accepting default FileVault encryption for hard drive. 700GB drive has 600GB of data o it with 100GB free.
    1) Mail started freezing and hat to be Force Quit.
    2) Mail would show no internet connection and would re-enage after being Force Quit.
    3) Iphone 5 would not connect or sync
    4) All photos remaining on iphone 5 were scattered and disorganized throughout multiple files
    5) Screensaver continuously reverted to National Geographic. Had to be reset every day to Aperture photo file.
    6) Internet wiFi connection dropped off continuously every 5 minutes for no apparent reason.
    7) Machine "crashed' on a daily basis for no apparent reason
    I checked the forums and completed the following actions:
    a) completed disk utility verifying and repairing permissions and disks - no fix (errors found requiring restart command R and unlock disk with "File" at top of page.
    b) completed PRAM reset with restart command, option, PR - no fix
    c) completed SMC reset , shift control, option power - nil fix
    d) completed memory test with restart command D (short 5 mins) (long 40 mins) memory ok - nil fix
    e) completed re-install off of the internet with restart command R 9 (four hours) - nil fix
    f) checked System Preferences, Security and Privacy, FileVault and found it stuck at encryption at 20% of bar with a message to connect AC power.
        Ac power was already connected. Changed power supply - no change. Forums said PRAM reset with immediate Command R, unlock drive with upper tool bar
        "File" and "Unlock" command. Restart. FileVault encryption resumed showing 30 hours remaining. Froze again after 5 minutes. Repeated steps in f); FileVault
        resumed. Ran for one hour, then stopped again. Repeated steps in f); File Vault resumed and ran for 12 hours; with time estimates changing from 3 days to 10
         minutes and back to 3 days and back to 2 hours; until File Vault showed "encryption complete". As a precaution, completed PRAM reset, Command R disk utility,
         unlock HD, verify permissions, verify disk, restart; "Turn Off FileVault". Four hours to decrypt computer. Restart, reset PRAM, reset SMC.
    Requesting a proper knowledge base fix?
    Results to follow.

  • IDN domains and upload (IO & Security errors)

    I have site with a file-uploader created in Flash. It works great, I have never encountered any security issues, nor would I expect too, because the swf and the serverside files (in this case ASP.NET) are all in the same domain.
    My site can be accessed from several hostheaders (domains). This is not a problem, everything works great unless the site is being called from an IDN domain (in this case a domain with special danish characters). When called from an IDN domain, everything starts to fall apart. I get a security error, probably because the browser translates the IDN domain and Flash does not (or vice versa).
    I have tried to solve this with a crossdomain.xml file, but the security error still occurs. I can see that the crossdomain.xml file gets called from Flash, but it doesn't seem to honor the contents of the file. The file has the lowest security settings possible ("*") while debugging.
    In a different approach, I have tried to call the serverside-scripts from Flash using relative paths instead (no domain) but then I get an IO error because the file cannot be found. Using Fiddler i noticed that the host of the request had been translated into some url-encoded looking string.
    I believe the "funny things" happens in the FileReference.upload method because prior to uploading I make a request (to check for file existance on server already) and this serverside call works as expected. Only the upload() call fails.
    Is this a known issue, am I doing something wrong or do you have any suggestions? It's very hard to Google information on Flash (upload or security) and IDN domains.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am also having problems with UNC paths. But I cannot access the location even if it is mapped as a drive. In JDK VJM I do not have a problem, but in Oracle it says the file cannot be found and say permission denied. I will try to change the user that starts the database and see if that helps.

  • Blobs, REST, Firefox and Silverlight = Security Error

    Hello,
    I'm trying to access Azure Storage blobs (via SAS string) from a Silverlight application. A clientaccesspolicy.xml is present in the $root blob container, allowing Silverlight access.
    I've created a sample Silverlight application with just one button. The button executes the following code:
                var request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequestCreator.ClientHttp.Create(new Uri("http://[mystoragename].blob.core.windows.net/[mycontainername]/[myfilename]?[sasString]"));
                request.Method = "GET";
                request.BeginGetResponse(r =>
                    try
                        var response = request.EndGetResponse(r);
                        using (var s = response.GetResponseStream())
                            this.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(() => MessageBox.Show(s.Length.ToString()));
                    catch(Exception ex)
                        this.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(() => MessageBox.Show(ex.Message));
                }, null);
    Running this code on IE produces the expected result - the size of a blob uploaded to Azure Storage. Unfortunately, the same application, when ran in Firefox, produces a "Security Error" with no further indication of what might be wrong.
    What could be the issue? Where should I even begin looking for one?
    EDIT:
    The same issue occurs in Chrome.
    EDIT 2:
    The SAME issue occurs when I try to download a file from a PUBLIC blob container (same code as above, only different URL). The public blob container also has it's own clientaccesspolicy and crossdomain XML files. Again - the code works in IE, but fails to function
    in Firefox / Chrome.

    I found a valid workaround.
    I've created an ASHX handler on the web site which is hosting the Silverlight application. This handler basically "redirects" a HttpWebRequest to Azure Storage.
                var url = String.Format("http://{0}.blob.core.windows.net/{1}/{2}{3}", accountName, containerName, blobName, sas);
                var request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(url);
                try
                    var response = request.GetResponse();
                    context.Response.ContentType = response.ContentType;
                    using (var stream = response.GetResponseStream())
                        stream.CopyTo(context.Response.OutputStream);
                catch
                    context.Response.End();
    Where the parameters used in building the url are passed as query string parameters to the ASHX handler. While not ideal (an ideal solution would be connecting from SL directly to Azure Storage), this works fast enough and doesn't seem to use much resources.

  • DreamweaverCtrls.dll Security Error

    Hi,
    I am using Dreamweaver 8, Asp.net and the control
    "DreamweaverCtrls.dll" to connect and access a mySQL database.
    Everything goes just fine in my local Web Server (windows
    2003, IIS 6), but when I upload the site to my web host then I get
    the following security error:
    Description: The application attempted to perform an operation
    not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the
    required permission please contact your system administrator or
    change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

    After researching in several forums I found out that the
    possible solutions are:
    - Use a fixed DreamweaverCtrls.dll file
    - Instruct the Web Hosting provider to lower their security
    settings (unlikely)
    - Modify the config.web file's settings in order to make the
    .dll trusted
    I really don't know how to implement the above suggestions,
    does anybody know how? or does anybody know of another possible
    solution?
    Thank you.

    I have never seen that sort of error using the control. I
    would suggest that
    you contact your host and see if there is anything unique
    about the way that
    they implement ASP.Net

  • Java security error after 8u31 (Timestamped Jarsigned Applet within valid period of Code Signing certificate)

    Hello,
      I have an applet running in embeddad systems. This program runs without any problem since 8u31 update! After this update it starts to give java security warning and stops running.
    Here is the warning message:
      "Your security settings have blocked an application signed with an expired or not-yet-valid certificate from running"
    What it says is true; my Code Signing Certificate (CSC) is valid between 24 Jan 2014 and 25 Jan 2015. And it expired! However, while i was signing my applet with this certificate i used "timestamp". The authority i choosed was DigiCert. My signing date was 26 Jan 2014 (when my CSC was valid).
    When i started to have this Java Security Error, first i thought i mis-timestamped my code, and check by using the jarsigner -verify command. Here is a partial result:

    As you may see the timestamp was correctly done. And it is in the valid period of CSC.
    Than i started to check how Java confirms the Certificate, and found some flowcharts.
    Here is an example from DigiCert:
    Code Signature Verification Process
    After the Web browser downloads the Applet or Web Start application, it checks for a timestamp, authenticates the publisher and Certificate Authority (CA), and checks to see if the code has been altered/corrupted.
    The timestamp is used to identify the validation period for the code signature. If a timestamp is discovered, then the code signature is valid until the end of time, as long as the code remains unchanged. If a timestamp is not discovered, then the code signature is valid as long as the code remains unchanged but only until the Code Signing Certificate expires. The signature is used to authenticate the publisher and the CA, and as long as the publisher (author or developer) has not been blacklisted, the code signature is valid. Finally, the code is checked to make sure that it has not been changed or corrupted.
    If the timestamp (or Code Signature Certificate expiration date) is verified, the signature is validated, and the code is unchanged, then the Web browser admits the Applet or Web Start application. If any of these items do not check out, then the Web browser acts accordingly, with actions dependent on its level of security.
    So according to this scheme, my applet had to work properly, and without security warning.
    However i also found that from Oracle, which also includes the timestamping authorities Certification validity period??? :
    The optional timestamping provides a notary-like capability of identifying
    when the signature was applied.
        If a certificate passes its natural expiration date without revocation,
    trust is extended for the length of the timestamp.
        Timestamps are not considered for certificates that have been revoked,
    as the actual date of compromise could have been before the timestamp
    occurred.

    So, could anyone please explain why Java gives security error when someone tries to reach that applet?
    Here is a link of applet: http://85.105.68.11/home.asp?dd_056
    I know the situation seems a bit complicated, but i tried to explain as simple as i can.
    waiting for your help,

    Hello,
      I have an applet running in embeddad systems.
