Can't adjust the default time scale when creating a new appointment in Outlook 2010

Good Afternoon, I have found a question on these community boards that propose an issue that I am currently experiencing. The answer; however, was not the solution for me. I used the same name as the original post and will add the original text as it is
exactly what I am experiencing.
"When creating a new appointment in the month view Outlook 2010, the default time scale or duration is 2 days. I tried resetting the view, adjusting the time scale, and creating a new profile. It only seems to happen when creating the appointment
in the Month view. ??? Day and week view work fine and appointment can be created w the standard 30 minute time scale. But the time scale in the month view although says 30 mins, it creates appointments in 2 day durations."
This is exactly what happens to the user I am assisting. When in "month view" double clicking the day will bring up a new appointment with the times within the same day. If you click the "new appointment" button in the ribbon it
sets the end time to the following day. This only happens in the month view every other view works as it normally should. I have tried it several times being sure multiple days are not selected. It still gives me an end time for the following day. I have reset
the view, changed the time scale but nothing seems to bring it back to the default same day appointment. Any ideas?

It is a default in Outlook 2010 in month view. The "time scale" selection is greyed out. Very frustrating. Everytime I select "New Appointment," a duration of 1 day is automatically selected; midnight to midnight. I end up doing
most appointments twice because I forget to change to end date back to the day of the appointment. "New meeting Request" works fine. So does "New All Day Event" when you deselect "All Day Event." I can't see how this default behavior
provides optimal results under any circumstances. Very frustrating.

A possible bug: Error when creating a new appointment

When a new appointment is created, CRM OD shows two default values for the "Inicial Hour" and "End Hour" fields, if there aren't a difference around four hours, this new appointment is an ended task and not an open task.
Is it a bug?

When the appointment exceedes the date / time to finish, it becomes complete. This a normal behavior.
But the problem is that if you add a new appointment with the system time below the present by the default value (Start Time and End Time) from CRM OD, goes directly to be completed when an appointment should still be open.

Performed the below action but issue not resolved.
--Make sure that when creating the Environments for the Upgrade, that the correct ids and passwords have been entered. A userid and userid password plus the accessid and accessid password need to be entered. The connectid, many times "People", should not be entered where accessid is supposed to be entered.
--Reinstall the Change Assistant
--Be sure that the accessid and password being used is valid.
--Be sure that there is not an & character in PSRELEASE.Releaselabel column. Change this to a text 'and' if you find one there.

DB2 customers running Change Assistant must set the variable 'override_connection_reset' to the value 1 in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PeopleSoft\PeopleTools\Release8.40\Profiles\Default\Database Options
When they are done using Change Assistant, they must change the value to 0 before they use any other PeopleSoft 2 tier applications.
That look a lot like your issue :)
Try setting the registry key value as defined above to see if it solves your issue.

InfoPath 2013 error when adding new infoPath form

I have created an infoPath form and published it to a SharePoint 2013 site - form library (timerequest). the form was saved and publish successfully. but when I try to add new document (form), I got the error below and I hope someone can explain
to me how each URL in the error is reported by either infoPath or SharePoint as I hope with that information i can trace where my problem is.
background:
SharePoint 2013 farm with 2 servers: spserverfe1 and
spserverapp1 (not load balancing)
web application URL is http://spserverfe1
All managed path site collection I created start with http://spserverfe1/sites/.....
The correct URL for the form library is http://spserverfe1/sites/spsite/InfoPath/Timerequest (this showed correctly in the manifest file)
what I don't understand is when the error occurred, the error URL showed both the app server spserverapp1 and the wfe server

Error when Adding a new view

When I try to add a new view, selecting my model class, I get an error, "There was an error running the selected code generator: 'There was an error getting the type 'mycontextname.Models.mymodelname'. Try rebuilding the project.'" I rebuilt
the project and everything rebuilt successfully, but I still get the error. Any suggestions? I can manually create a view, but would like Visual Studio to do it for me :-) I am using Visual Studio 2013 and using MVC 5.

Error when adding a new node to RAC 10g

Hi all,
I have a RAC 10g environment test in Linux Red Hat Umbreakble 5 with two nodes. This RAC is fine on 2 nodes.
I want to add a new node (rac3) of the following way:
- The node 1 (rac1) is started and the instance ORCL1 is online.
- The node 2 (rac2) is offline. i.e the machine is off.
- The node 3 (rac3). The machine is on and already configured
So that when I execute the CRS_home\oui\bin\addnode.bat on node 1 and put the information of node 3 (Public node name, Private node name, Virtual host name) and press next I get the following message:
OUI-35000: Fatal cluster error encountered (PRKC-1071 Nodes rac2 did not respond to ping in 30 seconds) - Sure: The machine is off;
My question is: Can´t I add a new node on RAC if a node is off ?

Error when adding a new account

I am trying to make a new account that does the following but when I process the dimension it errors out. Is the formula just too long?

Hi,
You might be facing this error because of the overall length of the formula.
The workaround is to maintain this formula in the MDXLib.LGL file. For example, if you want to multiply 2 accounts, then you can maintain it as
*function test(%acc1%,%acc2%)
%acc1% * %acc2%
*endfunction
Now in your dimension formula, for the member, you can write the formula as
test(Account1, Account2)
Hope you got my point.

TF400587 and TF401098 Error when adding a new PortfolioBackLog

On a fresh TFS 2013 installation, I tried to add a new Initiative category to the Portfolio Hierarchy of a Team Project using the Agile Process Template following the steps described here

Importing the new ProcessConfig.xml file returned the error below:
"..TF400587: This element defines the states for work items that appear on your backlog. Each state must exist in at least one of the work item types belong to category defined in: 'PortfolioBacklog(Fabrikam.InitiativeCategory)/States'. The following
state does not exist in any of the work item types: In Progress, Complete.
The following element contains an error: PortfolioBacklog(Fabrikam.InitiativeCategory)/States. TF401098: This element defines the states for work items that appear on your backlog. The state configuration is incorrect. Each work item on this backlog must have
one state with the type 'Complete'. The following work item type does not have any state with the type 'Complete': Initiative."

Since you are doing this for MSF Agile template you have to use below shown

Runtime Error when creating a new group

I'm getting a runtime error when creating a new group on a site collection?

The most possible reason is if your site collection is reached the maximum site quota limit,then there is chance to get the run time error while creating a new group.
In this case,you will get the error while creating/updating the group or while adding the new user/uploading any content.
Also Ensure the group name is not having any special/unsupported characters.
Feel free to share the error screenshot/entry in the ULS logs.

Error when adding any menu - FRM-40735: ON-INSERT trigger raised unhandled

When I try to add any new menu in my newly cloned instance I get this error:
Error when adding any menu - FRM-40735: ON-INSERT trigger raised unhandled excpetion. ORA-04031.
Using Oracle EBS version 12.1.3.
Details:
Menu JOB_STRUCTURE_MENU
User Menu Name Job Strucure Menu
Menu Type Standard
Description Menu to add job, grade, and incentives
Seq = 1
Prompt = Enter and Maintain
Function = Combined Person & Assignment Form WF="US SHRMS TSKFLW
When I click save I get the error.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.

PDRL Error when Adding External User

Does anyone know what this error refers to?
Error: There is a problem with the policy you edited. (invalid PDRL format)
This occurs when adding a NEW External user to a new policy. Any help would help greatly!

You can't use Essbase to create users when you have externalized the security to HSS.
The only way to batch import users and provision them to Essbase is to use the CSS import-export utility which can batch import users into HSS and provision them with Essbase security if necessary. The only thing you won't be able to do is assign Essbase filter access to the user.
You should be able to find the utility under:
HYPERION_HOME\common\utilities\CSSImportExportUtility

The error that you are receiving is related to 1 of 2 things.
Either you do not have the card setup to make payments over the internet or the card is not an acceptable card type.
If you have previously made purchases online with this card then it means that your card is not accepted by Microsoft as a form of payment.
Please use a different card and try your payment again.

Office 2013 Error when launching iCloud Control Panel

After installing iCloud Control Panel 2.1.2 on my Win 7 pc, I get an Office 2013 error when I open or close iCloud Control Panel. "We're sorry, but Microsoft Office has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Microsoft Office will need to be closed as a result. Wou you like us to repair now?"
I close the error window and everything seems to work correctly. There is no other message and iCould Control Panel is not giving me any help.
How can I fix the problem and get rid of this error message?
