CRM Product Status

HI All,
I have a small doubt... In CRM what is the table name which has Product attributes like Product status, weather it is mark for deletion/ Inactive etc...

Hi,
The Status for CRM Products are available in the CRM_JEST table.
However, you cannot directly retrieve it.
You need to have the Product_guid from the comm_product table.
Using this Guid, you need to extract the STATUS_GUID from the COMM_PR_FRG_ROD table. You will get multiple GUIDS. To refine your search further, you need to pass on the SALES_ORG and DISTR_CHAN information. This will lead you to a single STATUS_GUID.
Use this Status GUID in the CRM_JEST table in the OBJNR field and you can get the status of the CRM Product.

    Thank you Subba  for your answer but this FM does not allow to set commercial status for each (distribution channel + sector) combination in tab commercial.
    I need to set one of the two commercial status (I1050 or I1051) for each distribution channel maintained in product.
    Do you know any other FM which allows this behaviour?

  • Availability of products based on product status

    Hello
    I have the following requirement that needs to be implemented in CRM 7.0.
    "Based on product statuses, we'd like to stipulate which product can be used for new orders and which products can be used only for change orders."
    For example let's say product X was created on Jan 1 2009.  Quotes/Sales orders were created for this product.  Buit in June 2009, this product should only be available for change orders.  It should not be available for new quotes/sales orders.
    I've looked through product statuses and read several posts on this forum. But I didn't quite understand what thought process I should have to implement this.
    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your reply.  I see what you're saying.  The product status would still be active.  Otherwise the product won't be available for use at all.
    If that is the case, then which attribute of the product could I use/should I use, to prevent the product from being used on new orders (but usable on change orders)?

    I'm writing a specification on product search in crm and I have 2 quetions:
    1. I need to know the parallel  table and fields name of the following fields from ECC:
         transaction mm03:
       external matl group
       Dchain -spec status
        Where can i find the parallel fields in the CRM???
        Do they exist?
        Can we use different fields for the same information?
    2. CRM- transaction COMMPR01, tab "general" there are product statuses.
        on which table can i maintain these statuses????

    go to table TJ02T.
    For distribution and sales organization related go to
    COMM_PR_FRG_ROD this table.

  • Product Status Operator for ProdAdvSearchRgProducts

    Dear expert,
    in SAP Standard Query Object ProdAdvSearchRgProducts there is a field to search for specific status. Unfortunately the only operator for this search criteria is "EQ Equals".
    We would need to exclude specific status in our query. So we would need to activate the operator "NE Not Equal" for the search criteria of the product Status.
    Any Ideas?

    Hi Matthias,
    The first thing you need to do is verify whether NE operator is supported for this criteria. You can check this in the BOL browser by using this operator to search. In case it works, you can add an operator to a search criteria of a dynamic search object in the following customizing:
    IMG > CRM > CRM Cross-Application Components > Generic Interaction Layer/Object Layer > Component-Specific Settings > Define Operators for Dynamic Queries.
    In case the search by this operator is not supported, you need to note the following (taken from IMG documentation):
    Adding operators for a given implementation of a GenIL component may require an extension of the component, to support the added comparison operators.

  • Initial load of sales orders from R3 to CRM without statuses

    1) Some sales orders were uploaded into CRM without statuses in the headers or line items. 
    2) Some sales orders were uploaded without status, ship-to, sold-to, payer.....If I deleted them and use R3AR2, R3AR4 to upload each individual then no problem.
    Any ideas or suggestions?

       Request load of adapter objects uses different extractor modules for extracting the data from external system to CRM. While your initial load of sales docs. will use a different extraction logic bases on the filter conditions specfied on trx.
    R3AC1
       There may be a problem in the extraction of data from the source system (don't know if you are using a R/3). Can you please de-register the R/3 (i suppose) outbound queue using trx.

    , and then debug the extraction (R/3 outbound) before the data is sent to CRM using FM
    CRS_SEND_TO_SERVER
       If this goes well, you may try debugging the mapper in CRM inbound and the validation module in CRM as a last resort. Also, please refer to trx.

       I dont think its possible to replicate material type DIEN from ECC to CRM Service Product.
       Service Products need to created in CRM, from here transfer to ERP. To transfer service product from CRM to ECC, you need to enable upload for Service Product in SPRO.
           Customer Relationship Management -->
                 Master Data -->
                        Products -->
                            Settings for Product Type -->
                                    Allow Upload for a Product Type.
       Now here select the check box for product type 02(service).
      To send product from CRM to ECC, open the product you need to send it to ECC in COMMPR01.
             Go To -> Transfer to ERP. Here give the ECCRFC Destination and mapping material type.

    How to create a SQVI report for generating a list for SAP CRM Product Hierarchy which should show the outputs->Level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4 categories and its products?
    I tried COMM_Hierarchy table and Comm_product but not able to achieve this requirement.
    or Is there any chance of getting related tables so that I could try more for this requirement.

    say in SAP CRM system, the product category is maintained in COMM_HIERARCHY as
    Parent category Id->
                                    Level2 Category Id->
                                                                     Level 3 Category Id->

    Product Id's
    (I understood the link between Level 4 category id and product id with your info.) but not able to achieve the requirement fully.

    1) Do we have profit center field in SAP CRM Product Master?If yes  then in which screen can we see?
    2) At the moment we  are not using the profit center field in either of the systems(ECC and SAP CRM) in Material, we want to use this then  how to go ahead to have this field in CRM.
    3) If we add the profit center value in material master in ECC under general and plant data view then how this value will be replicated into SAP CRM , delta load or initial load?
    We are using SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP CRM 7.1 systems.

    You can change the status of the product from shared to installed from OAM > License Manager. Once the product is installed, run the following via adadmin for this product (optional but recommended).
    - Generate message files
    - Generate forms files
    - Generate report files

    Hi,
    Its good that u pasted the complete log file. In your environment you have to run this upgrade tool only once from any of the middle tier.
    And with respect to your error that u got in precheck is quite simple. All u have to do is just run this script from by connecting to portal schema using sqlplus.
    Run dropupg.sql
    Location-------- /raid/product/OraHome_1/upgrade/temp/portal/prechktmp/dropupg.sql
    Later you re-run the upgrade tool and let me know the status.
