CRS issue ?? and solve with restarting CRS on all DB Instances

Dear All,
i am running two node ORACLE 10G RAC ON RHEL4.
After the abrupt power off, i found one of the database instance came up properly but second instance not started.
When i run the command ./crsctl check crs, then no reply came. checked the OCSSD log and found it was printing the log "lssnmReadDskHeartbeat: node(1) is down. rcfg(2) wrtcnt(1016) LATS(121714) Disk lastSeqNo(1016)".
Tried to stop and start the crs service but nothing worked.
then i stopped the crs service on running instance. the Moment i stopped the service on running node, first node OCSSD log printed "clssnmSetupAckWait: node(2) is ALIVE". and 1st node crs service started as well instance came up.
After that i started the second instance CRS service and crs and Oracle instance started without any issue.
In this way both the database started working.
But in the above scenario, i faced the service interuption because i restarted OCS service on running instance.
Please suggest, the way i solved the issued was right or any other way is available.
For more clarification, i enclosed the OCSSD logs.

  • Flash 10 install issues and use with PowerPoint

Hi feeling really frustrated now and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a quick solution.
I'm running Windows 7, Flash 10.0.32.18 (now the Beta 10.1 in desperation) and I haven't had to reinstall flash on start up until last night so that was an unfortunate down turn of events for me and not even the reason for searching the forums.
My issue started as I stood in front of one of my classes (I work in a College) with PowerPoint 2007 and a lesson ready to go and the Flash images that had always worked refused to be anything other than a still image with no interaction.
Unfortunately when I upgraded to Windows 7 I carried out a clean install and reinstalled Office along with the latest versions of Flash, Shockwave etc. I say unfortunately because I now have no way of knowing where the problem lie. On asking, Microsoft are adamant that it is an Adobe issue and the forum would seem to back this up.
On investigation I found that when looking at a slide the object was identified as a Flash object but I can't view any properties, also 'insert a shockwave flash object' is not available in the control toolbox. This would indicate that Flash is not installed even though viewing flash on the internet has not been an issue.
The last issue that may help toward a solution is that when trying to view an .swf file I'm informed that I need to have FlashPlayer installed (I have) and when trying to use a third party flash player such as SWF Opener it also asks me to install flash.
Like everyone else here I've installed, uninstalled all Flash etc. more times than I care to remember now.
I'm not that technically minded when it comes to the nitty gritty of software operation and programming, I just like things to work.
Please help as the most important thing I use my laptop for I now can't!!!!

    gm377!!!!
    Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh!
Talk about famous 3 words, It's All Fixed is what I love to hear ! Well good for you, bet you are glad
that is done and as I like to say when all of the ducks are in a row, FP is a piece of cake! It is always
the ducks that cause the problems.
You asked about the dates in manage add ons, as far as SFO is concerned and FP 10 it is more exact
to look at Add/Remove, the screen shot I have shows Adobe Flash Player 10 Plug in and the date is
11/18/09 probably when you did one of the Un/In stalls or the beta and it logged the correct version
there in Add/Remove. However in the 1st screen shot of add ons, SFO is not even listed, probably due
to the Uninstall and Reinstall actions. I have noticed Windows updates are listed in my Add/Remove, not
when I install them, but when Microsoft issued them and maybe Adobe does the same thing. Then I have
XP3/IE6, so you have differences there too. In my add on for example, no dates are shown and when I
updated my SFO Active X (I can do that with IE6:-) I know when I did it. Even though you had Shockwave
Flash Object listed you did not have the Flash10c.ocx which is the ActiveX CONTROL, the engine if you will
that Flash Player 10 works together with so all Flash websites, youtube, etc need. Think of having a gas pedal
and no gas in the tank, everything works together:-) The plug in you installed today was the Flash10c.ocx, the
    gas. Go look.
Hey are the slides working now too?
Ok, I'll take a Christmas card
Well thanks for the "star" and appreciation and the best to you!

  • Crashing issues not solved with extensive troubleshooting... Please help!

    Hello community,
I'm still in the process of trying everything to resolve these issues, be it hardware related, software... Or both.
Here's an extensive account of the troubles I have been experiencing and maybe someone here who has encountered a similar issues can help me out!
Basically, Premiere will not stop freezing or crashing after loading up a larger project (project file is around 25mb) and a small amount of edits/minor adjustments to the timeline are made. I usually have to wait about 5 minutes before I can even start working because it's loading all of the media (it's footage from a 3 day wedding, i.e. DSLR footage, home video footage, audio files, video elements such as film burns, etc.). After about 5-10 minutes of reluctant work (I fear it'll crash if I work too fast) it inevitably does anyway. This issue did not exist earlier during the assembly edit process or during any other less extensive edit in the past. I upgraded to Premiere CC 2014 about three months ago after using CS6 for about 2+ years.
Trying to troubleshoot this myself I have allocated 13GB of ram for Premiere and while I use it I have no other apps open. I've cleaned out the media cache and attempted to shrink the project size by removing unnecessary content that is not in use. Also I set my previews to play back at 1/4 the resolution and try to keep the media in my bins set to the detailed view (as opposed to thumbnails). I'm unsure if the renderer is set to using CUDA because when I go to project settings, renderer is greyed out. I'm pretty sure my GPU cannot use CUDA in CC (but I used to be able to use it in CS6 I believe... strange). The GPU driver is updated and current.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled PP CC, imported a sequence into a new project (as to reduce the project size significantly to 6mb). I've cleaned up my Mac HDD (more than 10% is free). My working external HDD is a WD Passport Ultra 2TB USB 3.0 drive with 1.2TB free. When I run a benchmark test on the drive it maxes out at around 90MB/s for read/write. I'm using my MacBook's monitor + an external 24" running through the thunderbolt connection. Maybe if I run with the single MacBook monitor alone it could help free up some graphic processing space... ?
At this point I wonder what else there is to do... Basically it seems to me as if the program crashes because of effects that the GPU cannot handle or something (transitions, film burns with blending modes, colour correction, warp stabilizer, and some basic audio cleanup) ... I was pretty confident that my computer was more than capable of managing this type of workflow, but maybe I'm missing something...
If you've read this far thank you and hopefully you can suggest something!

Turns out I may have solved my issues with a very simple solution:
Larry Jordan - Premiere Pro: Trash Preferences | Final Cut Pro Training & Classes
Hopefully this could help others if you have similar issues.

  • Various slow issues and freezes with snow leopard

    new to discussions.
i have the current os x, and i am having trouble with my safari, mail, and dashboard performing very slow (not a consistent issue, but happens frequently) or freezing or shutting down. i read various discussions and tried the helpful tips, but i am not familiar with the ins and outs of a mac. i fear i might have done things wrong or worse that i have downloaded something that is frying my mac. (previously, i have download several applications that i didn't check out first, also realized for several months now that i didn't have my firewall on.)
i tried the disk utility maintenance. i ran the "verify disk permissions", and the list that was compiled in the window is as follows,
    Verify permissions for "Macintosh HD"
Permissions differ on "private/etc/postfix...ould be -rw-r--r--,they are -r--r--r--.
Permissions differ on "usr/shar/derby", shouls be drwxr-xr-x, they are lrwxr-xr-x.

i have no idea what all that list of information means. nor do i know what to do about them. nor do i know if i am even doing what needs to be done to fix my issue. i feel like a blind person trying to read a road map.
any help would be so appreciated!!!

    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
You can ignore those disk permissions messages:

Regarding your performance problems, I'd use the Activity Monitor utility. Launch it, then set the list at the top to "All Processes". Click on the "CPU" column heading to put the highest CPU consumers at the top of the list. Leave the program running while you're using your Mac. If you encounter problems with performance, check the Activity Monitor window to see if there are particular processes consuming a lot of CPU time. If you see something possibly interesting but don't know how interpret it, post the details here and someone should be able to offer advice.

  • Time Capsule: Port Forwarding Issue and DHCP with Westell 6100g Modem

Ok two issues as of right now, but more down the road i think... Anyways, number one, i would like to be able to backup my computer using time machine and my time capsule.. Right now it works properly when inside the local network, was wondering if there was a way to backup when outside the network... i travel a lot and always have my macbook pro with me.. Also, i have a USB hard drive connected to the usb port on back of time capsule but its not showing up anywhere... is that only for printers??? that's not such a big deal, but would be nice to have access to that hard drive from multiple computers... OK so part two of my issues is, i have a WESTELL 6100g modem for DSL verizon service, which is crappy, but that's besides the point, it is a modem/router, so i have the time capsule connected directly to that westell.. the westell only has one Ethernet port, so that's wired to time capsule and then my computers are connected wirelessly and wired through the capsule. It seems that the westell is distributing the IP's and is controlling the port forwarding and what not.. I have tried a few things to give control to the time capsule but that didnt work.. i followed these directions on the web page http://www.dslreports.com/faq/vz/4._Hardware#13600 but it didnt work properly, i couldn't log onto the web at all.. Maybe im doing something wrong.... Anyways, what i really want to do is control everything that the westell is controlling right now with the time capsule... i want to give out IP's and also control port forwarding with the capsule.. Any way of getting that accomplished would be AWESOME... I'm somewhat intelligent when it comes to computers so i should understand everything you are talking about... please help!!!

If you have Back to my Mac (available online service from Apple's MobileMe), then you can perform the following actions with your Time Capsule remotely,
    1. Remote disk access to both the Time Capsule disk and a compatible disk connected via the Time Capsule's USB ports.
    2. Remote configuration.
Also, i have a USB hard drive connected to the usb port on back of time capsule but its not showing up anywhere... is that only for printers???
    Printer, hub, or compatible disk.

Anyway, it could be a setup issue for you, assuming you have Back to my Mac (MobileMe) then the procedure for Time Capsule services is shown in the following Apple support kb

and for USB disk please see the following Apple support kb

If you got the Unlocked message it means it was successfully unlocked by AT&T.  Apple will not relock or block it.  They have no objections to it being used on T-Mobile.  It is still under warrantee.  Take to an Apple store.  They can test it with a SIM from AT&T.  If that doesn't work have them replace the phone.  Have them verify that the new phone is unlocked.  If it does work with the AT&T card then it is a T_Mobile problem.

  • Goods issue and packing with HU/WM-managed location

    Hello guru,
I am stuck on the following process and hope you can guide me.
1 - I perform a movement GI with cost center (201) in MIGO, and an outbound delivery order is created.
2 - Next, I perform picking in the VL02N of the delivery.
3 - After picking, I perform putaway TO creation. Given that I didn't setup the "Control of Automatic PICK HU creation" (under SPRO->LG>HU->WM), there is no HU object created.
4 - When come to TO confirmation, I do not not how to proceed from here....System is requesting me to put in the HU with error message. I believe system is asking a HU...please see my questions:
    Question:
If there is RF device, I can scan the Label on the pallet and the TO can be confirmed. Can you tell me which RF transaction (LMXX) to use to perform this step 3?
For argument sake, if there is no RF scanner in place, may I know which online screen transaction code to perform step 3 to create the HU so that I can proceed the TO confirmation? can I use HU02 or HUPAST? If you say HU02 and HUPAST, there is no field in those two transactions which allow me to enter Transfer Order number, hence, there is no connection. Beside it is not possible to perform pick using HU02 with a storage location which is HU-managed (error message: Message no. HUGENERAL009).
Sorry I am a bit confuse here in the GI side when come to HU.
    Thanks.
    Tuff

    Hello Manish,
I didn't scan nor enter the destination storage unit number 1000000945, it was created automatically during LT03 with reference to outbound delivery.
You means if I will to use LM07 to scan, the Transfer Order can be confirmed right away?
In between, do you know my 2nd question .. that is if I do not use RF, instead using online transaction? I suspect HU02 or HUPAST allow me to create a HU with link to my outbound delivery.
    Thanks.

  • HT1766 I got my iPhone 5 replaced and had to backup and restore with the cloud, but all my apps started disappearing one by one??

I had backuped my phone before and after I got the iOS7 update. Then, I went to the apple store to change my phone for a new one because my old one had a hardware issue with the camera. It was all going smoothly until I saw each and every one of my apps disappearing one by one...The people at the store told me that it was because I had a bad backup (which could be caused by multiple reasons)??? So we tried doing it three times with different backup times, and this kept on happening. Why is this happening and what do I do to get my apps back, hopefully with the latest backup I had done prior to this disaster???? Please help!!

  • Using iPad, iPod and iPhone with ATT uVerse. All devises are downloading at the correct speed - 10-12 mbps. Macbook pro, however, is very slow - 2-4 mbps. Can someone suggest the nature of the problem?

Reason for Macbook Pro super slow download speeds, when all other Apple devices in the house are downloading correctly. I am not attempting to use multiple devices at the same time. What could be the problem with the Macbook Pro?

Resetting SMC could solve the problem.
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
And you need to install more RAM, I think.

    depend..
What is the exact msi 570GTX model that you have?
If you have some of those models:

    then its normal.

  • Hp 550 upgrade of memory and cpu with possible unconventional tweaks. not ideal, but no other choice

HI guys, I hope you can help or at least give a point in the right direction.I'm a freelance photographer using much of the Adobe CS6 creative suite. After a disaster of a week I came home to find that the mother board on my editing workstation somehow is fried. I have no idea what happened though i wouldn't put it past my roommates carelessness.
I'm desperate. I need to finish my current job before I am able to afford to buy a replacement. So I am forced to rely on stopgap measures, out of desperation to finish my project, which are less than ideal, but so far are faring better than I'd hoped.
Im a photographer, Capture One, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro are the go to workhorse applications i need to work. without them i have no income. in order to have this machine run these apps,
the machine i have left is an old hp 550 which was gathering dust in the closet. It was built for 32 bit Win XP and in no way is intended to run the power hog adobe products I use, especially Lightroom.
Unfortunately Lightroom PS, and Premiere are 64 bit programs and LR and Premiere are hyper threaded. so I did research, and with the help of the windows 7 upgrade adviser utility's list of instructions I was able to get windows 7 Pro 64 bit to install and run.
I know this isnt the ideal machine or situation but for a few weeks, i need to make it work.
I really just have 2 simple questions. I had first gone to HP tech support. but they were not helpful. since the Laptop's warranty is long gone, they wouldnt even be polite and basically told me to shove off. Then on another forum, I argued back and forth with a know it all who consistently insisted that there was no way no how this pc could run 64 bit win 7, to which i thought what am i seeing things? its been running fine for 3 months. so i decided to come to you. your forums have been helpful on many occassions.
basically I need this machine to be able to run these programs for the next month or so, until i can purchase a new machine.
essentially, what I would like to know is will the motherboard support an upgrade of the processor? and if it will, what would you suggest as a replacement, considering my needs? The Core 2 duo is the barest minimum of what i can limp along with as photo/video rendering times are excessively slow.
next I was talking to the crucial tech support staff about memory upgrades. and possibly tweaking the bios to force it to run 8 gigs of ram. they said they cold find no version of bios that would make that possible, but that by already forcing it to run 64 bit, that already allowed the pc to utilize the full 4 gigs of ram, which had been impossible in the 32 bit format. He then suggested that i buy 2 4 gig modules such as 4GB DDR2 PC2-5300 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.8V 512Meg x 64 which can be seen at http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/memory/ct51264ac667 and try installing the full 8 gigs and see what would happened, saying he had a feeling i could get lucky. his logic being that the 64 bit system already opened up the ram limitations and who knows, you cant make an omelette without cracking some egg shells! he seemed very optimistic. So what do you think? does this seem likely to you because i would love it to work. or do you think the guy was a quack? and this whole endeaver is a waste of time and money?
also any other suggestions about how to weather this month long storm that dont involve suggestions of buying new machines would be appreciated!

    Here is the Manual:
    Service Manual
Unfortunately the maximum configuration is a T5670 processor 1.8 ghz and 4 gigs of DDR2-667 memory which you already have. The CPU includes the 64 bit instruction set so it is not surprising it can run 64 bit Windows 7. My best advice is to save your money for when you can get a real working machine. The only other upgrade likely to help at all is a solid state drive, which you could use in the laptop and then also use in the new computer you are going to buy.

The audio is coming through my speakers fine, but there is no image of the TV Show or Film. Has anyone else had this issue and solved it?

I had the same thing recently when trying to play a video held in my itunes movies folder on my Macbook pro, through the Apple tv airlink to watch on my TV. I could hear the sound play back fine, but there was no picture/video.
It then dawned on me that the 'Apple tv' box can only show 720p resolution, and I was trying to play back a full hd (1080) video. I converted my footage to 720 (or apple tv version), and it now streams and plays perfectly from macbook to AppleTV.

  • Having Kernel Panic issues and need help

So about 6 months ago I had a HD crash, I restored it through disk utility and reloaded from my last time machine backup.  Ever since then my computer would turn off randomly and I didn't know why, looked into it a bit more and thought the HD was bad so replaced it with a 500Gb SSD.  When I got that I used a HD clone to copy the drive over and the problem still continued.  I noticed it was when I would try and do something that might be a little taxing on the system like open a big program or stream something with other things open.  All things that might stress the system, but nothing out of the ordinary and never had an issue for the years I had the computer before the crash.  I looked into the issue more and have tried to trouble shoot the issue and this is what I have done/found thus far.
~Replaced HD to a SSD HD with no improvement
~Put new SSD in a totally different MCB and the issues still stand
~Reloaded Mavericks on the HD and it is still happening (Had an issue when trying to erase the HD in recovery, Disk Utility said it could unmount the disk when I clicked the drive, but if I clicked that name of the drive indented under neath it worked)
I have included my latest panic log in hopes for some help.  The new MacBook Pro that I put my HD in I got second hand and said they were having some issues with it, but it only happened when they upgraded to Yosemite.  There was nothing wrong with it previous, so I think I eliminated the possibility of it being a Hardware issue, but not 100% on that. Thanks for the help, Chris

    New updates:
I pulled the SSD out and put it into an external enclosure and was able to fully erase the drive through disk utility.  From there I used the bootable disk that came with the computer which put snow leopard on.  From there I upgrade through the app store to Mavericks, I used the computer all night with no issues or reboots at all, was finally able to run a Hardware diagnostic with nothing showing up there after the extended test.  I am now running Mavericks and am transferring data off my external, but only the essentials such as music and pictures with fresh installs of all applications.  Everything was going great... until about 5 min ago.  As I was transferring about 250Gb of music I opened a browser and had a kernel panic shutdown.  I have included the log, hoping it was just a fluke thing, but don't have any faith at this point

  • CreateInsert and LOV with multiple return values

HI. I am on Build JDEVADF_11.1.2.3.0_GENERIC_120914.0223.6276.1
I have a View Object which is based on Entity Object.
View Object has customer_name and customer_id attributes.
customer_name attribute has LOV (input field with LOV) based on some other View Object (which of caurse holds customer name and customer id data)
I defined that when LOV return the chosen values it will populate customer_name with "Customer Name" value and customer_id with "Customer Id" value
    All atributes are updatable
I droped my View Object on the page and also "CreateInsert" buton. When I click on "CreateInsert" button, I can see new row added as expected, customer_name field has LOV. I can choose from LOV and can see customers and customer_id data. But when I click OK in the LOV pop-up only customer_name attribute is populated!
I do see that customer_id is returned from LOV (I implemented ReturnPopupEvent listener), but still the customer id remains empty.
I though maybe I need to add LOV as auto submit = true and set LOV to be a partial trigger for customer_id. But still  - it didn't help
However, if I run Application Module tester, I do get what I want. I can create new row and when I change customer name , both customer name and customer id fields are populated
    Please advice

    Hi Michael,
On Lov VO, make sure you have at least one or combination of attributes as Key attribute. and re test.
    Thanks,
    Jeet
