CRVS2010 Beta - 'Cannot resolve sumbol' - crystalReportViewer.ReportSource

I am using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Edition and I've installed the Beta 2 release of SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010. Everything works fine but when I try to set the ReportSource property for the crystalReportViewer I can't find it. Is there any other way to bind a crystal report to CrystalReportViewer? This is my code:
var cryRpt = new ReportDocument();
        cryRpt.Load("~/CrystalReports/DateToDateReport.rpt");
        new TableLogOnInfos();
        TableLogOnInfo crtableLogoninfo;
        var crConnectionInfo = new ConnectionInfo();
        var crParameterDiscreteValue = new ParameterDiscreteValue {Value = dtpFromDate.Value};
        ParameterFieldDefinitions crParameterFieldDefinitions = cryRpt.DataDefinition.ParameterFields;
        ParameterFieldDefinition crParameterFieldDefinition = crParameterFieldDefinitions["fromDate"];
        ParameterValues crParameterValues = crParameterFieldDefinition.CurrentValues;
        crParameterValues.Clear();
        crParameterValues.Add(crParameterDiscreteValue);
        crParameterFieldDefinition.ApplyCurrentValues(crParameterValues);
        crParameterDiscreteValue.Value = dtpToDate.Value;
        crParameterFieldDefinitions = cryRpt.DataDefinition.ParameterFields;
        crParameterFieldDefinition = crParameterFieldDefinitions["toDate"];
        crParameterValues = crParameterFieldDefinition.CurrentValues;
        crParameterValues.Add(crParameterDiscreteValue);
        crParameterFieldDefinition.ApplyCurrentValues(crParameterValues);
        crConnectionInfo.ServerName = "ServerName";
        crConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = "Database";
        crConnectionInfo.UserID = "Username";
        crConnectionInfo.Password = "Password";
        var crTables = cryRpt.Database.Tables;
        foreach (Table crTable in crTables)
            crtableLogoninfo = crTable.LogOnInfo;
            crtableLogoninfo.ConnectionInfo = crConnectionInfo;
            crTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(crtableLogoninfo);
        crystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = cryRpt;
        crystalReportViewer1.Refresh();

Hello,
I updated the subject as per the download and info post.
Right click on the Tool Bar and click add. Then browse to the Viewer located in this folder:
C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\dotnet\CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.dll
You should now see it in the Tool Box. I just noticed for some reason I don't see any tools in the tool bar.... I did yesterday but my VM-ware was not closed properly so it seems VM-ware or the OS has broken it.
Try doing a repair install of VS and see if that fixes the problem. I've also see one person have problems with DEP was enabled...
Also, no other version of CR can be on your PC or it won't install properly.
Thank you
Don

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Cannot export report to PDF with unicode characters

    My report has some unicode data (Chinese), it can be previewed properly in the windows form report viewer. However, if I export the report document to PDF file, the unicode characters in exported file are all displayed as a square.
    In the version of Crystal Report 2008 R2, it can export the Chinese characters to PDF when I select a Chinese font in report. But VS2010 beta cannot export the Chinese characters even a Chinese font is selected.

    Barry, what is the specific font you are using?
    The below is a reformatted response from Program Management:
    Using non-Chinese font with Unicode characters (Chinese) the issue is reproducible when using Arial font in Unicode characters field. After changing the Unicode character to Simsun (A Chinese font named 宋体 in report), the problem is solved in Cortez and CR both.

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Cannot find documentation on what needs to be installed

    My question is very elementary but I do not see anything in the release notes, etc. that tells me which of the 3 install files I need to iinstall or do I need to install all of them.
    1 - SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010
    2 - SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
    3 - SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (64-bit)
    I want access to the WPF component in VS 2010 on a Win 7 64bit machine
    Do I install all 3?? In what order? 1 - 2 - 3 as I've shown?
    I have Crystal 2008 installed on my machine. Must I uninstall it to use the Crystal VS 2010 beta on that machine.
    To date I tried installing just #1 above. I went into my VS 2010 selected the WPF and it blew up VS 2010, I tried doing the same with Winform and it also took out VS 2010.
    I have since uninstalled everything. Could someone explain the procedure(s) for making the beta available to VS 2010 with a little more detail.
    Thanks

  • CRVS2010 beta - Cannot add report parameters through code

    Hello,
    I've been trying to follow random examples from these forums of people adding a parameter to their report.  My situation is as follows:
    I have a report that is populated from values selected from a SQL stored procedure.  In a simple test program, I'm able to display the report fine, except that when I run the app, it always asks me for the input parameter for the stored procedure.  I need to set this "programmatically", and I can't seem to get it to work.  Here is what I have:
                ReportDocument reportDoc = new ReportDocument();
                reportDoc.Load(String.Format("{0}\\ZGpQuoteReport.rpt", Environment.CurrentDirectory.ToString()));
                reportDoc.SetDatabaseLogon("reportuser", "reportuser");
                ParameterField quoteParam = new ParameterField();
                ParameterFields reportParams = new ParameterFields();
                ParameterDiscreteValue quoteVal = new ParameterDiscreteValue();
                quoteParam.Name = "@QuoteNumber";
                quoteVal.Value = "QGPET000000001";
                quoteParam.CurrentValues.Add(quoteVal);
                reportParams.Add(quoteParam);
                reportViewer.ViewerCore.ParameterFieldInfo = reportParams;
                reportViewer.ViewerCore.ReportSource = reportDoc;
    Like I said, every time I run this code, I'm still prompted to input the parameter.  Please help. Thank you!

    Hello - I'm having the same problem.
    I had a crystal report that was working fine in VS2008.  I've now got the latest VS2010 version and started using VS2010 to edit the crystal reports.
    As soon as click save in VS2010 in my report, I get prompted to upgrade the report to the new file format.
    From now on, whenever I run the report the user gets prompted for parameter values even though they are set in the code.
    I set them using
    crReportDocument.SetParameterValue("MyParameter", "value");
    In the popup to edit a parameter, it says 'Show on (Viewer) Panel' which is set to 'Do not show', and 'Prompt With Description Only' is 'False'.
    Is there something else I'm missing here?  I need to effectively turn off offering the user to replace the parameter values.
    thanks in advance, look forward to hearing from you!

  • CRVS2010 Beta 2 - "Database Logon failed" Error, after Upgrade

    Hi,
    Generally: we are using the Crystal Reports in combination with a DataSet, that is filled during runtime and pushed to the report, using "SetDataSource". The Project is an ASP .NET 3.5 Project, published on our server.
    I upgraded my development-machine to CRVS2010 (installed both packages - the CRVS for VS 2010 and the runtime) last week and changed some fields in the Report. The DataSet was left unchanged. Everything is working well on my development-machine, but when I publish the Project to our server, I get an "Databse Logon failed" Error, when I want to create my Report. The CRVS2010 Beta 2 redist Runtime is installed on our server. Here is the code, we use:
    // create new Report
    var report = new Reports.repMyReport();
    // DataSource ds was filled correctly (we checked with export to XML
    report.SetDataSource(ds);
    // Set several Parameters to Report
    report.SetParameterValue("test", "test");
    // Export Report to PDF-Format and open in Browser
    report.ExportToHttpResponse(CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, Response, false, "reportName.pdf");
    Response.End();
    The error I get is:

    I already tried everything, found googling the web and/or searching this forum:
    e.g.: perform "verify Database" on all Reports and map the DataSet.xsd again to the Report
    Is that a known issue on the Beta and we should wait for the RC, or does anyone have an idea how to fix that one?
    This error is really annoying!
    Many thanks for your help.
    kind regards
    Reinhard

    Dear Ludek,
    Many thanks for your quick reply. Currently, I have to finish some other things. I will try your ideas next week and give you some feedback then, to keep you informed.
    best regards,
    Reinhard

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Sporadic "This field name is not known. Details: errorKind"

    I am running CRVS2010 Beta 2 on the VS2010 trial version. I have been converting reports to this new version, but sometimes I get the error:
    This field name is not known. Details: errorKind Error in File XX11X1 {1X1111X1-1XX1-1X1X-111X-11111111X11X}.rpt: Error in formula tot-appr: '{@commited0}+{XX11X.AMT1} + {XX11X.AMT2} + {XX11X.AMT3} + {XX11X.AMT4} + {XX11X.AMT_FUT} ' This field name is not known. Details: errorKind
    I have done a lot of searching on this forum, Google, and Bing, but it seems everyone who receives this error message has just created the report or moved it to a new database, and the error is caused by a mis-pointed formula. I don't have that problem: in my case, the report usually works.
    I have tried querying the Oracle database immediately after receiving this error, and all the fields mentioned do exist, exactly where they ought to. The problem never exists when logging on with my own account, and sometimes works when logging on with other accounts, but I have not figured out a way to predict whether it will work or not.
    I have four reports I am running: one always works, two get this sort of error sometimes, and one (which is formatted differently) always shows up without errors, but is sometimes inexplicably blank. I cannot figure out in what way the report that always works is different from the two with this error (aside from obvious issues of layout and querying different tables, I mean).
    I'm at a loss for where to look next. I know this information won't be enough as-is, but I hope that your clarifying questions can help me find the error.
    Thank you for your consideration.
    EDIT: changed database names in case I get in trouble for revealing proprietary information, even though I don't think it's likely

    Hello,
    Are you using a data Set? I believe the System.Data.OracleClient is the .NET Oracle client but not sure and not sure how reliable it is or what it's based on.
    What happens if you create a new report using the DataDirect OLE DB provide or Oracles OLE DB provide or use CR Oracle native driver?
    In the Connection Wizard select Oracle, that's the native driver, then when set log on info you just specify the Server name, User and PW, leave the database blank.
    Then what API's are you using to connect/set the log on info?
    I'm guessing that the error you are getting is likely an indexing problem in the table names etc. but not sure. if you search in this forum on "crlogger.dll" you could enable our database logging component and it may give you more info on what the cause is.
    Thank you

  • Can't figure out why an object isn't visible - CANNOT RESOLVE SYMBOL

    I have a simple 3 class app, all in the same package. Classes are:

  • JMS "cannot resolve symbol" error

    I am a bit new to JMS...
    I am trying to compile a sample code available on net to receive message from a queue....
    I am using MQSeries JMSAdmin as the JMS provider...
    however the code is giving the following compile time error...
    MqJmsProp.java:257: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : method createSession (boolean,int)
    location: interface javax.jms.Connection
    QueueSession session = connection.createSession(transacted,Sessi
    on.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
    ^
    1 error
    Can anyone suggest me what might be the problem...
    Thanks in advance...
    Pats

    Hi Shanu...
    Thanks for all the interest that you have shown....
    I have IBM MWebSphere MQSeries installed on my system...
    and as I mentioned earlier am using the JMS implementation provided by MQSeries...
    I have created a queue in the queue manager which is on the local system....
    I have done JNDI binding for the queue manager and the queue that i m gonna use....
    how ever if u look at the error ... it does not say any thing about the queue not available....
    its more a pure java related error which i am not able to track.... :(
    i know this error looks silly and very novice ... but thats the situation i m in right now...
    the code which is giving me this error is like this ....
    QueueSession session;
    session = connection.createQueueSession(false,Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
    where connection is a javax.jms.QueueConnection object...
    I hope this explains my problem in a much better way...
    would appreciate if u can throw any light on this...
    Thanks,
    Pats...

  • "cannot resolve symbol" when compiling a class that calls methods

    I am currently taking a Intro to Java class. This problem has my instructor baffled. If I have two classes saved in separate files, for example:
    one class might contain the constructor with get and set statements,
    the other class contains the main() method and calls the constructor.
    The first file compiles clean. When I compile the second file, I get the "cannot resolve symbol error" referring to the first class.
    If I copy both files to floppy and take them to school. I can compile and run them with no problem.
    If I copy the constructor file to the second file and delete the "public" from the class declaration of the constructor, it will compile and run at home.
    At home, I am running Windows ME. At school, Windows 2000 Professional.
    The textbook that we are using came with a CD from which I downloaded the SDK and Runtime Environment. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also tried downloading directly from the Sun website and still the error persists.
    I came across a new twist tonight. I copied class files from the CD to my hard drive. 4 separate files. 3 of which are called by the 4th.
    I can run these with no problem.
    Any ideas, why I would have compile errors????
    Thanks!!

    Oooops ... violated....
    Well first a constructor should have the same name as the class name so in our case what we have actually created is a static method statementOfPhilosophy() in class SetUpSite and not a constructor.
    Now why does second class report unresolved symbol ???
    Look at this line
    Class XYZ=new XYZ();
    sounds familiar, well this is what is missing from your second class, since there is no object how can it call a method ...
    why the precompiled classes run is cuz they contain the right code perhaps so my suggestion to you is,
    1) Review the meaning and implementation of Constructors
    2) Ask your instructor to do the same ( no pun intended ... )
    3) Check out this for understanding PATH & CLASSPATH http://www.geocities.com/gaurav007_2000/java/
    4) Look at the "import" statement, when we have code in different files and we need to incorporate some code in another it is always a good idea to use import statement, that solves quite a few errors.
    5) Finally forgive any goof up on this reply, I have looked at source code after 12 months of hibernation post dot com doom ... so m a bit rusty... shall get better soon though :)
    warm regards and good wishes,
    Gaurav
    CW :-> Mother of all computer languages.
    I HAM ( Radio-Active )
    * OS has no significance in this error
    ** uninstalling and reinstalling ? r u nuttttttts ??? don't ever do that again unless your compiler fails to start, as long as it is giving a valid error it is working man ... all we need to do is to interpret the error and try to fix the code not the machine or compiler.

  • Cannot resolve symbol..Swing / MDI

    I'm somewhat new to Java.
    I have an MDI app that I am creating. The main routine is in DeskTop.java.
    When DeskTop.class is run:
    1)Main creates a generic UserID class from userID.java( has two private strings and 4 methods to get userid, passwd, and set userid, passwd).
    This info will be used throughout the app to connect to various MySQL Dbs.
    2)Main creates the main application JFrame and a JMenu.
    One of the JMenuItems, named Logon creates a JInternalFrame (basically a login box with userid and password field and JButton called continue. An ActionPerformed is added to a continue JButton.
    There are many other JInternalFrames on the menu that have various DB functions.
    I need to have the action performed on the ActionEvent of the continue button access the UserID class and it's setUserID() and setPasswd() methods and set the (uid, pw) fields in the object. Yet anytime I try to access this object from the Logon object, I get a Cannot resolve symbol:
    This is a summary of the action performed on the continue button:
    uid = txt_userID.getText();
    userid = new String(uid).trim();
    pw = pw_password.getPassword();
    password = new String(pw).trim();
    UserID.setUserID(userid); /*UserID is the other object.Error is on*/
    UserID.setPasswd(password); /*the decimal point.*/
    All objects have a public constructor and the methods I am trying access are declared public.
    Files consist of (all in same directory):
    DeskTop.java (main JFRAME)
    PasswordBox.java ( JInternalFrame)
    UserIDPW.java (JInternalFrame)
    AddCompany.java (JInternalFrame)
    etc. ( other JInternalFrames)
    etc. ( other classes)
    Thanks for any input. If someone has a better method of making a MDI database app in Java, some info would be great.
    There will be other classes outside the gui. I am trying to build the business logic and the gui as seperate as I can.

    This may sound silly to ask, but without seeing all
    the code in this case you can imagine it's difficult
    to say - I presume that UserID is a class (ie a
    template for an object) rather than an object itself
    and that setUserID, setPasswd are static functions.
    The files you list dont include a UserID.java, so this
    means you haven't got a PUBLIC class called UserID
    (you may have one with private or package / friendly
    access) - hence you can't access it from outside. I am
    new myself - but this looks a likely candidate. [ I
    try to answer questions so that I can learn myself,
    but now I am off to bed!]Thank for the reply.
    The main function creates a public UserID object and it created the main gui JFrame DeskTop object. UserID has a public constructor and public methods.
    main function:
    public static void main(String args[]) {
    userIDPW userID = new userIDPassword();
    JFrame f = new DeskTop();
    Dimension screensize = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize();
    f.setSize(screensize);
    f.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
    f.setVisible(true);
    The DeskTop object has a JMenuitem in it called Login, it opens an InternalJFrame called PasswordBox.
    PasswordBox takes a userid and pw and then it needs to send the userid and pw to the userID object with two of its methods:
    Methods in userID object:
    public void setUserID(String userid)
    { this.userid = userid; }
    public void setPasswd(String passwd)
    ( this.passwd = passwd; }
    How doed one access this object (userID)? I have tried (from the PasswordBox) with no success:
    uid = txt_userID.getText();
    userid = new String(uid).trim();
    pw = pw_password.getPassword();
    password = new String(pw).trim();
    userID.setUserID(userid); --this fails, with Cannot resolve symbol
    userID.setPasswd(password); --this fails, with Cannot resolve symbol

  • "CRVS2010 Beta - viewer size issue

    Hello,
    I'm having an issue with the Crystal Reports viewer in a web application. I'm using visual studio 2010 with CRVS2010 Beta 2 installed. In design mode, the web form shows the report in full size as expected, but when I run the application and pull up the report, all I see is the Group Tree icon.
    I've tried setting the height and width on the viewer, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I placed a border around the viewer so I could be sure it wasn't resizing, and it wasn't.
    I also have a button outside of the viewer that saves the report off as pdf, and that seems to be working just fine. The report saves with all the data and looks perfect.
    I've installed both the 32 bit and 64 bit runtimes on my development machine, but it did not help. I set the application to target 32 bit only, but no help. I set IIS App Pool to Classic mode, no help.
    This is an app that was converted from VS 2008 / .NET Framework 3.5 on a new development machine running VS 2010 & 4.0, so there was no previous version of CR installed.
    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate N 64bit as OS.
    Here is the code for the viewer.

    Thank you for the suggestions Ludek and Adam,
    I tried deleting the viewer and adding it again, but still get the same result. You can view a screen capture at http://www.flickr.com/photos/54613233@N07/

  • Problem with DNS - ping/Safari cannot resolve, but host/dig work OK

    Hi All,
    Have a weird problem with DNS which is a bit similar to the following ones:
    http://discussions.info.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2190208
    http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=337942
    I connect with remote internal network via OpenVPN and from time to time (yes, intermittent problem :)) internal DNS names cannot be resolved.
    When it happens I can still resolve names using host or dig utilities, but applications (like Safari) and ping cannot resolve them.
    resolv.conf has proper DNS server set:
    *$ cat /etc/resolv.conf*
    *# Mac OS X Notice*
    *# This file is not used by the host name and address resolution*
    *# or the DNS query routing mechanisms used by most processes on*

    *# This file is automatically generated.*
    *domain openvpn*
    *search openvpn*
    *nameserver 10.0.0.1*
    More than that - it can resolve those internal names when queried directly, for example using host:
    *$ host YYY.XXX.ru 10.0.0.1*
    *Using domain server:*
    *Name: 10.0.0.1*
    *Address: 10.0.0.1#53*
    Aliases:
    *YYY.XXX.ru has address 192.168.x.y*
    but at the same time ping reports "*Unknown host*":
    *$ ping YYY.XXX.ru*
    *ping: cannot resolve YYY.XXX.ru: Unknown host*
    I tried "*dscacheutil -flushcache*" and it did not help. Also tried to comment out domain and search directives in resolv.conf and it did not help as well (and actually it should not matter).
    Any ideas why this can happen and what else can I check when it happens again?
    Thanks!

    I have the same issue. It cropped up after I installed updates to MS Office 2008 and Firefox in which I also saw issues with the icons disappearing in the dock of the applications that were open when I started the Office update. I rebooted to try to get them back, but ended up deleting them and restoring from the Applications folder. I don't know if that's a red herring or not, but I generally try to figure out what has recently changed that may cause something to suddenly start failing.
    I'd been working successfully all morning before it started acting up. Switching from wifi to cat5 had no effect.
    @realaaa, were you able to resolve without a major undertaking, like reinstalling your OS?

  • CRVS2010 beta - Date field from database does not display in report

    Hi there - can someone please help?!
    I am getting a problem where a date field from the database does not display in the report viewer (It displays on my dev machine, but not on the client machines...details given below)
    I upgraded to VS 2010
    I am using the CRVS2010 Beta
    My development machine is Windows 7 - and so is my fellow developer's
    We are using Microsoft SQL Server 2000
    We run the queries within VS and then we send the data table to VS using .SetDataSource
    We have a few reports which display the date on our dev machines (whether we run the EXE or from within Visual Studio)
    When we roll out to the client machines (running Windows XP SP3) then everything works, except that the date does not display (on quite a few reports)
    This is the only real issue I have had - a show stopper for me
    The rest works well - any input will be greatly appreciated
    Regards,
    Ridwan

    Hi Ridwan,
    After much testing I have it all working now using CRDB_adoplus.dll as a data source ( XML )
    Alter your Config file to look like this:
    <startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">
    <supportedRuntime version="v4.0"/>
    </startup>
    Then using the code below, and CR requires the Schema to be able to read the date format.
    private void SetToXML_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
    CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument rpt = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument();
    ISCDReportClientDocument rcd;
    rcd = rptClientDoc;
    string connString = "Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source=dwcb12003;Database=xtreme;User ID=sb;Password=password";
    string sqlString = "Select * From Orders";
    OleDbConnection oleConn = new OleDbConnection(connString);
    OleDbDataAdapter oleAdapter = new OleDbDataAdapter(sqlString, oleConn);
    //OleDbDataAdapter oleAdapter2 = new OleDbDataAdapter(sqlString2, oleConn);
    DataTable dt1 = new DataTable("Orders");
    oleAdapter.Fill(dt1);
    System.Data.DataSet ds = new System.Data.DataSet();
    // We need the schema to get the data formats
    ds.WriteXml("c:
    sc.xml", XmlWriteMode.WriteSchema);
    //Create a new Database Table to replace the reports current table.
    CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.Table boTable = new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.Table();
    //boMainPropertyBag: These hold the attributes of the tables ConnectionInfo object
    PropertyBag boMainPropertyBag = new PropertyBag();
    //boInnerPropertyBag: These hold the attributes for the QE_LogonProperties
    //In the main property bag (boMainPropertyBag)
    PropertyBag boInnerPropertyBag = new PropertyBag();
    //Set the attributes for the boInnerPropertyBag
    boInnerPropertyBag.Add("File Path ", @"C:\sc.xml");
    boInnerPropertyBag.Add("Internal Connection ID", "{680eee31-a16e-4f48-8efa-8765193dccdd}");
    //Set the attributes for the boMainPropertyBag
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("Database DLL", "crdb_adoplus.dll");
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("QE_DatabaseName", "");
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("QE_DatabaseType", "");
    //Add the QE_LogonProperties we set in the boInnerPropertyBag Object
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("QE_LogonProperties", boInnerPropertyBag);
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("QE_ServerDescription", "NewDataSet");
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("QE_SQLDB", "False");
    boMainPropertyBag.Add("SSO Enabled", "False");
    //Create a new ConnectionInfo object
    CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ConnectionInfo boConnectionInfo =
    new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ConnectionInfo();
    //Pass the database properties to a connection info object
    boConnectionInfo.Attributes = boMainPropertyBag;
    //Set the connection kind
    boConnectionInfo.Kind = CrConnectionInfoKindEnum.crConnectionInfoKindCRQE;
    //*EDIT* Set the User Name and Password if required.
    boConnectionInfo.UserName = "";
    boConnectionInfo.Password = "";
    //Pass the connection information to the table
    boTable.ConnectionInfo = boConnectionInfo;
    //Get the Database Tables Collection for your report
    CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.Tables boTables;
    boTables = rptClientDoc.DatabaseController.Database.Tables;
    //For each table in the report:
    // - Set the Table Name properties.
    // - Set the table location in the report to use the new modified table
    boTable.Name = "Orders";
    boTable.QualifiedName = "Orders";
    boTable.Alias = "Orders";
    rptClientDoc.DatabaseController.SetTableLocation(boTables[0], boTable);
    //Verify the database after adding substituting the new table.
    //To ensure that the table updates properly when adding Command tables or Stored Procedures.
    rptClientDoc.VerifyDatabase();
    MessageBox.Show("Data Source Set", "RAS", MessageBoxButtons.OK, MessageBoxIcon.Information);
    Thanks again
    Don
