CS3 / Server / Windows: Axis2 - Unexpected subelement scriptResult

I call the Indesign Server from a web application using Axis2 (1.3.1) and a Javascript. This script calls my function, written in C++.
I set the return in my plugin as follows:
  PMString    sReturnError = sError.c_str();
  ScriptData  returnData;
  returnData.SetPMString(sReturnError);
  ipScriptEventData->SetReturnData(returnData);
This generates an exception "Unexpected subelement scriptResult" in my web applicaion.
As I see the scriptResult in IDSP.wsdl is defined as "Data". And it seems this creates the error, because my return data is a string (PMString). I have changed this in the WSDL in Eclipse form "Data" to "String", build the application and it works!
But I think this can't be the solution. "Data" is a universal data type and should work for all variables, including string. And I don't like to change a WSDL file!!!
What could be the reason for this behavior?
Any ideas to solve this problem?

check the VersionedScriptElementInfo describing your function/method.
E.g. you'll have something starting with  "Event {"
There, below the longer description comment, you specify the return type - it should be "StringType" without quotes.
