CS4 - a syntax error on line 27 of list.js.php

I am getting a message
"There is a syntax error on line 27 of list.js.php. Code
hinting may not work untill you fix this error"
Does anyone have a fix?

Hi ,iam new for using sql*loader, with minimum understanding from the forums,Iam trying to load data from a flat file (.dat) to oracle database.

Syntax error in line 1.

When I post to my hosting company that I have had for years, I get a syntax error in line one every time. I have posted to my ISP's "free web space" and it works fine. Has anyone else had this problem, and if not where do you host? I am using ITX hosting and it just won't work with iWeb. When I called Customer Support they told me to use Dreamweaver, but I think that it is about $400 too expensive.

What software are you using? PS version. OS version etc. Also check you have all the updates for your version of Photoshop installed. That your only selecting image files to be stitched. That a javsscript error message from one of the Stack Script Only that get used when you use Photoshop Photomerge Script.

When I run root.sh command, I confused to input path

Now I can not run bash on Solaris 10.

Are you doing a silent install or custom one or typical what is the
version ? is this a test drive or a enterprise edition ?. I think it's

Cs4 + swfObject = syntax error *sometimes*

With CS4, on some sites I get a syntax error notice, always
pointing to the line following the javascript for a swfObject
insertion. But it only happens on some pages, not all. I have
compared dtd's, css, and anything else I can think of that might be
different, with no success in determining what is causing this. The
page renders fine, but the yellow warning bar is a real annoyance,
and I'd like to cure it?

I copy and pasted your code and got the error. I rewrote the code and it went away. I have had problems in DW with templates that gave me errors when everything was good but the only way to fix it was to redo the template from scratch. Sounds stange, but true. The only other thing, and the experts here might chime in is to put the scripts in comment tags like below.

Hello everyone. New to the forums and been enjoying Dreamweaver CS5's powerful capabilities up until this point. I'm a little new to PHP, and having a little trouble. I will link the PHP syntax for you guys to take a look at. What I'm trying to make is a PHP file that sends an email for a refer a friend type form. This is line 16-34. Lines 25 and 29 are highlighted red. I'm a bit confused as to the errors given here, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I think that all it does is make it clear to the browser that the code is not XHTML and prevents it from being parsed. Another way to get around it is to put your script in an external file.
I'm not sure that it matters that much but we might get an expert to give an opinion.

Why am I getting a syntax error on the /head line in DW CC?

I am getting a syntax error in DW CC. Other threads have indicated this was a bug in CS6 but had been fixed in CC. That leads me to believe it's my fault, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help based on the information I've pasted below? Thanks!

And, whammo: "There is a syntax error on line xx. Code hinting may not work until you fix this error."
And, the error always highlights the closing </script> line.
The script itself is fine:
1. If one puts it into an external js file, there's no problem
2. If one puts it in the body section, there's no problem
3. If one puts it in the template, there's no problem
Also, if one removes the closing </script> tag, the error goes away
The problem only happens in a child generated by a template and in the location I've illustrated. Apparently, this is a problem a lot of users are facing...

Syntax error hp-setup line 112 after python3 ..(pseudo Closed)

Please advise how to change python3 to point to python2 to eliminate the setup error in hp-setup.
The /usr/bin/hp-setup is reported to have a syntax error on line 112.
I assume this is caused by the python3 change.

Code syntax error in header using a template?

Now running CS5 DW in a 32 bit Windows/Vista ultimate environment. The improved error messages have brought to light a problem that I apparently have had for a long time but didn't know it as CS4 simply flagged the line but no message.
Many of my site pages use a template http://a0540807.uscgaux.info/Templates/A0540807_Skeleton_2010.dwt
If I build or edit a page using this template in CS5, when in code view I see "There is a syntax error on line 57. Code hinting may not work until you fix this error. Line 57 is within the header of the page and is simply </script>
But if I simply detach the template from the page, the error goes away and it says no syntax errors.
So I am confused, is there an issue with the code or is this a Dreamweaver issue dealing with template usage?
While the error appears cosmetic, I keep wondering what to do to eliminate. Apparently, I have had this situation a long time as Line 57 is also identified back in CS4 but no error message until CS5. Any pointers are appreciated. Thanks.

I don't actually think there is any problem with your page...run one of your child pages through the W3C validator: http://validator.w3.org/ . I cast a page from your template and it came through with flying colors!
