CS5 internet download

I purchased CS5 and have the physical discs but I also just purchased the new mac book pro that does not have a disc drive. The person who sold me my new computer explained that I could download CS5 from the internet and simply put in my serial # that I have for my software. Where can I find a link to CS5 in order to download? I updated my purchased software info in my adobe account and it says that I own it I just don't know how to download it from the internet instead of using my CDs

Even the 'respected' tools like Onyx, if you look at what (each and every update) states in the "what is new" and changes will be to improve compatibility.
Never use or install anything (and I include OS X updates in that category) without cloning your system and having TimeMachine that is current, and backup(s) that will be off line.
Some cannot be trashed or deleted or removed without using an "uninstall app" or the installer, doing so without can mean having to reinstall first.
Or wipe the drive and restore from a known good backup set.

Will a CS5 Master Suite serial work on a CS5.5 download just with limited features?

I just got a new computer and can't find my discs that I purchased for the CS5 Master Collection to install it...I got my serial from Adobe's site - will this serial work with the trial download of CS5.5(With limited features)? Or is there still a CS5 download somewhere? I'm just seeing the CS5.5 downloads on the download page - not sure if an old link is still around and active.

Also, I found the CS5 trial download at http://prodesigntools.com/cs5-free-trial-downloads-now-available.html. However, everytime I click on the link for the master collection it says that there was an error processing the request.
Adobe support isn't open on the weekend. Please help.

IDM may need to be updated to work with Firefox 4.0. You could contact them and make them aware of the problems you are having with their program.

You would have to restore the iPhone. Download the latest version of iTunes and then follow the steps in the article below to get it working again.

The Adobe auto updater is highly unreliable.
You need to look for and download the update yourself and then manually apply it as per the detailed instructions on the download page:

When downloading files by internet download manager sometimes shows the file name of downloaded video as videoplayback instead of the original file name

Are you looking in the "About" panel of your old Aperture installation or the Trial? The old version will show the licence number, if it has one. After installing a different version this chance is gone.

If you bought from the App Store and not the Apple Store, your Aperture version has no serial number. Are you sure, you did not buy from the Apple Store? Then you should have received a serial number by email.
