Websites are rendering at 665px wide on a 1024x768 resolution

I was looking into a complaint about site rendering at 1024x768 screen resolution and upon inspecting the web page with the window maximized and zoom set to 100%, the HTML and BODY tags are showing to only be 665px wide. They should be rendering closer to 1000 pixels. I have confirmed that nothing is checked off in the Compatibility tab, per this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Screen%20resolution%20changes%20when%20starting%20Firefox
I replicated on Windows 7 using Firefox 32.0.3.

You can rename (or delete) the <b>content-prefs.sqlite</b> file to content-prefs.sqlite.old in the Firefox profile folder to reset the page zoom for all websites.
What does the Box Model tab in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) show?

Setting Lightroom's preview size to larger than screen resolution is guaranteed to slow things down. I have a dual monitor system whith Lightroom showing the loupe on one screen and the grid on the other. The screen sizes are 1920x1080 and 2560x1440. Following your practice for previews would bring my system to a crawl and I have an entry level workstation.All my previews are of standard 1024x768 in size. The only delays in viewing come when Lightroom is asked to display an image where there is no preview. Once the preview has been created, browsing is near instantaneous.
I beg to differ! The reason is that a preview can be used for any size, which is smaller than that of the preview. Scaling down a preview can be done with little or not loss in quality compared to getting the full resulution and scale that down. Scaling up is not possible.
In your case, you will not use the previews of 1024x768 at all for full screen display. Instead you will force L3 to create bigger previews the first time you open the photo. You could try this by generating the standard previews for new imported photos before you start browsing. Then try to browse. You will probably get the "Loading" message, which indicates that the preview was not used and another one with higher resolution will be made. Then try the same experiment, setting the size of the standard preview to 2048. If, and only if, the size of your display area is not more than 2048 pixels wide and you display a photo in lanscape orientation, you will be able to browse without delay after generating the standard previews.
If I understand your setup correctly, you display the photos in a window of 2560x1440 pixels. I suspect that only 1:1 previews could be used for that. I think Adobe should increase the maximum size of the previews to a value larger than 2048, so that you are not forced to use only the 1:1 previews.
I agree, that when the previews have been generated, browsing is near instantaneous.

How to enforce an order in which the Individual tabs are rendered in a tab navigator?

I have a TabNavigator with multiple tabs as below.
On the creationComplete event, the individual child elements are added as below.

Issue:
Is there a way to enforce the order in which these individual tabs are rendered? The order is not predictable and there is a dependency in the application that one of the tabs is already completed rendered before the other. Please let me know.

Further info: I am a complete newbie to Mac. Had three macs prior to 2000 then four PCs. Just come back and struggling a bit with the unfamiliarity. On my old PC laptop I could simply switch from the laptop screen to the large external monitor (and back) with the F4 function key. While I can get the background image from my MBA to display, that's it. Until I noticed on the far left of the external monitor, the very edge of one of the web pages I was on. So Idragged it over to display in the centre. But that's all that's there. And now I have gone out of those web pages but they are still displaying on the monitor. There is some wierd disconnect. I'm sure it is just a setting thing. Will keep searching for answer but any advice welcome!

Your dsplay is getting extended onto the external monitor. Chcnage the setting to duplicate it or only display on the external monitor and you should be fine,

Thank you both for responding . After my posting I kept digging, I now know I don't have flashback. But, as to the strange part the pdf will show. Before problem that started about 2 weeks ago. The content was spread across the web page now it's all to the left going straight down. Also each action I get a slow script message and action is only completed when I hit cancel.

Thanks for replying, but that isn't the answer I am looking for. Also, there is no + sign, UNLESS you do tap the overlapping boxes.
Let me try to ask my question a little more clearly:
When I tap the two overlapping boxes on the lower left (the option to Open New Windows), the new Window that appears will show your Bookmarked FAVORITES. But with my new iPhone 6, and the new iOS 8.0.2, when I tap the two boxes to open a New Window, my Bookmark Favorites show (as they always have and should), but below them, there is a dividing line underneath them, and it says Recently Viewed Websites, and has these websites available to tap.
So my question is, HOW DO I TURN THESE OPTION OFF?
*UPDATE (10.13.14): Since I have asked this question, I no longer see these Recently Viewed Websites under my Bookmarked Favorites in my new Window tabs. So I hope that Apple fixed it, or somehow it was a mistake, or somehow I changed an Option on my iPhone 6 that stopped this for reoccurring.

Internet Problems: Websites are not loaded

since the Mavericks-Update I got some problems with my Internet-Connection:
1. Often the websites are not loaded. There comes no error-page or something else, its just a white page and I can see the Browser is loading but nothing happens. After refreshing the page, the page often loads correctly.
2. Connection to messengers in the browser get lost. I open Facebook or Google and often the connection to the chatsystem gets lost after a few seconds/minutes.
The problem comes up with any Internet-Conection(WiFi and Ethernet) and on every browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) in every network.
ping of google.com -> lost no packages! -> Internetconnection is stabile.
Other Notebooks are running without problems in the same network. Who can help?

I think I solved the problem:
Try this:
1. SystemProperties-> iCloud-> disable documents
2. Open Finder -> "Gehe zu" (go to) -> press alt -> Library -> Search Cache -> Take the Cache and drop to Desktop.
3. Restart your Mac -> During the start press cmd+alt+p+r and hold it down. Now the startsound appears 3 times. After three times you can stop pressing the keys. -> Mac starts -> Problem should be solved.
If you are shure the problem is solved, you can delete the Cache frome the Desktop.

Did you create a new profile for that 4.0 beta version?
Do you still have the regular Firefox 3.6.8 version installed?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Images on websites are not clearly displayed

Dear All,
The last month or so i have noticed that images on websites are not as clear as they used to be. Seem to be fuzzy. This is not a great help when im buying cosmetics or clothes as the images are not clear enough to see what im purchasing. Its not just one website its all.
Ive not changed anything on my laptop that i know of, its all running as when i purchased it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?

Its not a notebook malfunction. There is all ok with the hardware. I assume you have changed something in the IE settings or the images on the websites are really blurred.
You can try to check the settings in the IE option View. Check if the text size is set to medium and the encoding to Unicode (UTF8)
What you can do also to reinstall the IE.
