CS6 Membership

I have just purchased a pay monthly subscription to Photoshop CS6, I had a bit of difficulty downloading it and then when I finally managed it I got a message saying that I had started a 30 day trial. Should I expect my membership not to work after 30 days?

Sounds like you downloaded the trial PS CS6 software and not the version on the Creative Cloud page. You need to login to your Adobe account and navigate to the Creative Cloud software.
1) Go to Adobe's main page and click the Sign In link at the upper right. A page will pop up asking for your Adobe ID and password.
2) After entering that, you will be brought back to the first page. Your name will now show where the Sign In link was. Click on the arrow to the right of your name and choose My Adobe.
3) On the resulting page, click on the link Adobe Creative Cloud on the left, about halfway down.
4) You should then be on a web page showing three tabs; Files, Apps and Training. Click on the Apps tab.
5) Download and install your Creative Cloud apps from there.

Why is CS 6 cc single app not able to verify my membership?

I have a cc single app cs6 membership. Everything has been working good until a few days ago. Now when I open cs6 a window pops up saying "We are having trouble verifying your membership". I have clicked the retry button repeatly with no success. My membership is good until April, but the window informs me that I only have 1 day left. My internet connection is working fine, so what is going on? Wayne

Hi, I have been looking at CS6 and the pricing it has in place. I have the premium subscription to Business Catalyst and wanted to know if through this you are entitled to the reduced price of the CS6 membership.
I currently use CS6 at work but willing to have a membership for use when I am not at the Office but just wanted to know if we are entitled to the same discount as the initial cost of joining setting up BC was in the price range of an Adobe package that would entitle you.

Can I create a live chat forum in business catalyst, if so how?

Using my CS 6 Extended Muse application, or even Dreamweaver, is it possible to create a live chat room and upload to my personal BC site (you know, one of the free five sites that come with the CS6 membership).

Not likely as you would need some back-end coding for most live chat applications, even with web sockets.

CC A pp Install ploblems

Yesterday I download creative cloud installer app on my desktop and when I want to see what apps are available, no apps comes out, it still launch situation. And today I uninstall them and also delete them from my application. I download cc for desktop from adobe website https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud again. But when I download and tried to install that, it does not work. Also did not show the app on my desktop. What can I do now. I am little nervous about that. Because my adobe CS6 membership will be closed. And also I am not good at install softwares.

Application Manager trying to install some aps to invalid drive

Hey, got the creative cloud cs6 membership and for some reason the application manager is trying to install some aps to an invalid drive. Not all just some. Anyway here is the error I am getting:

How do I enter CS6 license key when Adobe Application Manager immediately tries to authenticate against my expired Creative Cloud membership?

I have CS6 Master Suite installed along side my now-expired Creative Cloud apps (I am evaluating whether to renew my subscription at this time). Both CS6 and Creative Cloud are currently unlicensed due to a snafu with my educational license, but I have a new CS6 license that I am trying to register CS6 with. However, upon launching any CS6 program, Adobe Application Manager then launches and tells me that my Creative Cloud membership is now expired. How/where to I enter my CS6 license key? I have already tried entering my new license on my Adobe account profile > “My products and services”, and reinstalled CS6 applications from my original disk image (MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg).

Figured this one out from another thread, after which I was able to sign in again with my Adobe ID and my software was ready to use:
Windows:
Delete these folders
SLStore from C:\ProgramData\Adobe
SLCache from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
OOBE from C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
Mac:
Delete SLStore and SLCache from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Delete OOBE from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

I have gone into Adobe Installers: nothing there to uninstall CC. Gone into Adobe Air, nothing in there to do with CC. How can I completely unlink my computer from any old remnants of CC? This is my work computer. It has to be sorted!

MPEG-2 codecs missing from Adobe Media Encoder CS6 installed with Creative Cloud Membership

Some people who have downloaded Adobe Media Encoder with Premiere Pro CS6 as part of a Creative Cloud Membership subscription have a problem in which the MPEG2, MPEG2-DVD, MPEG2-Blu-ray, Dolby Digital, & MXF OP1a codecs are missing.
To fix this issue, install the Adobe Media Encoder CS6 (6.0.1) update. Choose Help > Updates to install the update.

It's true. We reached the conclusion that the version CS6 is inferior, a step back, than 5 or 5.5. What's good about it, is the Audution CS6, which is a great replacement for the flawed Audition CS5 accompanying Suite 5.5. You can almost forget the Soundbooth ... Soundbooth ... hmmm, better not comment, but anyway, the most polite thing that i can say it, is that it is a demonstration of how a company decides that its users are not able to think and not able to learn or understants anything. Anything else that i want to say about Soundbooth can not be written here ....
Adobe has demonstrates this development cicle along all this years. The products takes an uphill curve of development, and suddenly, goes back, showing wrong decisions was taken. So after some time , the products starts to evolve again . CS6 shows this stop evolving point. Now we have to wait untill new uphill curve of development starts again.
Well, but like their predecessors AA CS6 still not are good enough to dispense Audition 3, but it is a good outcome for the Suite CS5.5 Audition at least was a sign of improvement in this Creative Suite CS6
Many of the features and effects that have been deliberately taken out of version 5, now returned in 6, (some) showing that at Adobe at least recognizes when misses badly. But the optimal effects panel of AA3 did not return, some effects of AA3 as fade in and fade out did not come back in AA 6, the optimum VST support of AA3 to not are present in AA6 like many VST we have here that was expensive, you do not work in 6, thus, by these and other reasons we can still not dispense AA3.
Maybe in CS7 we users cam be satisfied.

I need to download Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 because I recently got hired by a company that works exclusively in CS6 and I need to be able to share projects with them. I was hoping I could download a version of CS6 with my CC membership. I pay 40$ monthly! It would be great if I could be told how to do that.

Photoshop CS6 Extended not available in Creative Cloud single app membership?

I have read everywhere that Creative Cloud includes Photoshop CS6 Extended. So I went to buy a membership and figured I only need access to that one single app, and paid the US$19.99 for access to a single app license. But whenever I try to activate Photoshop now, I get regular CS6, not Extended. If I go into http://creative.adobe.com and look at my Apps it says just "Photoshop CS6" but when I click Learn More it brings me to the CS6 Extended product page. My question is whether I actually am entitled to CS6 Extended, or if I have to buy the more expensive $49.99 membership for access to all apps in order to get that? The marketing should be more clear if that's the case. Thanks in advance for any help!

You're correct, when you get a membership to Photoshop CS6 by itself it is the standard version, versus with Creative Cloud membership it is the Extended version. I didn't find this written out anywhere. I did notice when I clicked the Photoshop picture from here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/cssubscription.html it took me to the Photoshop standard product page versus here it does say Extended http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tools.html and links to the Extended product page.
Where are you seeing this "Learn More" link that takes you to the wrong place (Extended page)? Can you post a screen shot?
This seems like something that should be called out on the first subscription page and here http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/faq.html#subscriptions
I'll see if its possible to get something added and possibly change this Learn More link once I get more info.

Can I download Flash CS6 with Adobe CC membership?

My goal is to build a projector that plays on a local PC, but Flash CC doesn't create projectors (except through some elaborate AIR route). So, I need to download Flash CS6 apparently to build the .exe without going through AIR.
Can I download Flash CS6 using Adobe CC membership? I had read on board postings about 4 months ago that this was an option. But I don't see the option anymore. Has Adobe changed this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Creative Cloud Membership will be available this Friday, May 11. You can license the CS6 trial install products which are included with the Creative Cloud Membership without having to reinstall.
