CSS(?) formatting crosstab

Hi,
I have got a question related to changing format of column name in crosstab (I want to use "wrapping mode"),
I believe if it is possible at all it should be done by CSS,
can you give me a small hint, is it possible at all,
Can I find some reference for all the possible things that can be changed within CSS?
Thanks,
Marcin

Hi Marcin,
try to use the following piece of CSS  to get a sort of wrapping
.sapzencrosstab-HeaderCellContentDiv {
       white-space:normal!important;

  • Formatting Crosstab Columns

    Hello. I am new to Discoverer and I had a question about formatting crosstab (outline) columns. The first column lists our employee names, while the subsequent columns have different pieces of information from the employees' expense reports (ie- lodging, transportation, etc). When drilling-down to obtain additional information (ie- destination), there is some blank destination information (showing as a "0'), that I want to format. Here is an example of what the report looks like:
    Employee Transportation Lodging Meals
    JOE SMITH $100 $200 $100
    Miami, FL $50 $75 $25
    Atlanta, GA $0 $75 $50
    *0* $50 $50 $25
    Is there a way to format just the employee/drill-down column to read as N/A instead of '0' without affecting any $0 data in the other columns?
    I also tried to create a condition to replace any 0(null) information with something else, but the condition did not work. Anyone have any ideas?
    Thank you,
    Erik

    Sorry, tried that. It formats all of the columns to the same null value of "N.A." So, the $0 example shown above would show up as "N.A.", which I don't want.
    I want to get the null drill-down (destination) data to show up as "N.A.", while keeping the rest of the columns as a "0" value for anything null.
    Thanks,
    Erik

  • Losing CSS Formatting

    I am losing the effect of CSS formatting in Dreamweaver Live View and Preview.    In Design View, the Web Page shows CSS formatted boxes, shading, borders and fonts.
    What could be causing the CSS formatting ot disappear in Live View and Preview while it shows corrctly in Design View ?
    I cannot see anything evidently wrong with HTML that includes the style sheet in the web page. I made a small change to the page design and now find I cannot recover the CSS formatting. Or at least not so far....

    You would have to provide the HTML/ CSS code. Usualyl when formatting disappers you eitehr have an invalid tag (the design view tries to catches such stuff) or a global CCS rule that overrides others.

  • No css format on page created from template

    We are running Dreamweaver 8.0 on a Windows 2000 & a
    Windows XP machine.
    After re-creating a site (local site is now pointing to a
    file on a locally networked computer) I created a template (.dwt)
    file. The template looks fine.
    When I try to create a web page from the template all the css
    formatting disappears. (Although if I ignore that and dump text
    into the editable portion the page looks ok after transfer to the
    "live" site.) The href created by Dreamweaver from the site info
    is: file://networkcomputer/deptfolder/website/my.css
    What do I need to change and will Dreamweaver translate an
    altered href correctly when transferring a new page to the "live"
    site?

    This looks right -
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="../pplpage.css"
    type="text/css" />
    assuming that is the correct location of the CSS file in your
    site. Is it
    at the root level?

  • Need CSS formating help

    I'm new to CSS and I am used to HTML tables but I have a new
    client who needed a site in CSS. (I used one of the Dreamweaver
    tempates) After using the template I needed to put in a flash app
    where a jpg was and now the center text formating gets screwed up
    if you resize the page too small:
    www.shepherdeat.org
    I was wondering what I should do so that the text stays
    relative instead of running over other site elements?

    How is it a client "needs" a site in CSS? I'm just curious.
    > I used one of the Dreamweaver tempates
    Uh oh. You have gotten into a world of hurt with this
    template. Do not use
    it if you are not very comfortable with HTML, CSS, and
    javascript. As it is
    now (given how you have hacked the menu), the page throws a
    continuous
    stream of javascript errors. This means it's unusable for
    anyone that has
    these javascript error alerts enabled.
    Please forget the DW templates, and get one here -

  • SelectManyCheckbox and CSS formatting

    hi,
    im using the selectManyCheckbox component in my webapplication. i get the selectItems that you can select from my database. there are about 6 possible choices. my problem is that all checkbox-elements are displayed in a row next to each other. i want to display each checkbox in an own row. how can this be done? by a styleSheet? i'm new at using stylesheets, and i don't know how this could be done, so it would be nice to post an example css for formatting a checkbox. or can it be done by jsf itself? it would be nice from you to tell me.
    thx

    Use layout="lineDirection". It's an attribute on the selectManyCheckbox tag.
    No need for CSS in this particular solution.
    Please use the TLD docs to find out what attributes are available and what they do:

  • Why isn't my CSS formatting showing up?

    Can someone pls review:
    www.emergesolutions-temp1.info/case_studies.html
    and tell me why my formatting isn't applying to the header
    titles as I laid
    out in the CSS?
    The title "Company A Case Study" is supposed to be a dark
    blue and the
    "Background" is supposed to be a light blue. I can see where
    the tags call
    the classes I created but they are not showing up in the
    browser.
    I'm sure I'm not doing something right with CSS but I just
    don't know what.
    Thanks!

    Joe --
    I think she's talking about the heading below that table. The
    text just
    above "Background". She's specified the class
    ".case_study_header" but it's
    not being applied.

  • Wrong Alignment of data in the HTML CSS format

    hi,
    i generated a report in both HTMLCSS & in PDF
    in the PDF all the headers & the fields alignment are alright
    but if i am generating it in HTML CSS the format is collapsed
    can anyone tell me what is the issue while generating it in HTML format
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I am not sure are you using spring framework or what. if yes you can populate data in command object in referenceData method of simpleformcontroller and that data will be available to the UI.

  • Why is the CSS formatting different?

    When using live mode and browser preview mode using chrome, the formatting of my page is as it should be.  However, when I use the chrome browser and enter my url and go to the specific page the formatting is not correct.  By the way it is as it should be in safari, firefox and ie.

    You have a mal-formed doc type declaration and other errors in your code.  Chrome doesn't like code errors.
    Change your doc type to this:
    <!doctype html>
    And then fix your other code errors as reported below.

  • PDF CSS Formatting Issues

    I have several annotations in my help files which are styled with a paragraph style which includes a background image. The indentations and font size all show up correctly when I generate the PDF, however the background image is noticably absent.
    Also, I have a few images in my help files. The padding around them is completely removed in the PDFs, which causes them to bump right up next to the text.
    Any ideas as to how these issues can be corrected?

    Hi Bill.
    Thank you for the response.  I tested what you have suggested and this did not work.  When Adobe PDF printer is selected, it looks fine in the print preview, but once the Excel sheet has been processed, the format is not correct.  I tested this also with printing a hard copy to a printer, still the formatting looks fine in the print preview.  Once the file has been printed, it is not formatted the same. I have also removed the Adobe Driver and installed it again.  Still doesn't work.
    Any suggestions?

  • CSS format in webi rich client

    How to customize report look and feel when using webi rich client?

    I think you have to make the similar changes in the client's CSS file as done in the CSS file of the server.
    Because Web-I rich client works locally on a client machine and can't apply the server settings.

  • CS3 loses css formatting in design view for non-templated pages

    We recently upgraded to CS3. All of the pages on our site are
    templated except the home page. The home page, when viewed in
    design view in Dreamweaver, looks as if the css styles are missing.
    Sometimes refreshing the view causes some of them to appear, but
    not all. This didn't happen in the old version. And it's not
    happening (so far) on our templated pages. Any ideas?

    DW6x was not the sharpest knife in the drawer and would
    tolerate lots of
    things that DWCS3 will not.
    I suggest you do the following -
    * Change your doctype from this one (inserted by DMX6x, and
    broken) -
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01
    Transitional//EN">
    to this one (valid and complete - the way DMX6x *should* have
    done it) -
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01
    Transitional//EN"
    http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    Now your page will render in Standards mode, and not quirks
    mode (a very bad
    thing).
    * Change this (in your stylesheet) -
    vertical-align: top;
    end FedFAQ
    /* ********************** COLLAPSE/EXPAND MENUS
    to this -
    vertical-align: top;
    /* end FedFAQ */
    /* ********************** COLLAPSE/EXPAND MENUS
    I am sure that by doing this you will see a remarkable change
    in your
    page....

  • CSS formatted div borders do not appear on page(s)

    Hello all,
    I have a website I'm developing using the Skeleton 960 grid. I have defined borders for ID #r_col_entrypage and applied them to the div by using <div class="five columns" id="r_col_entrypage">. The css for the borders is included in the layout.css and appears in design view within Dreamweaver; however, does not appear in any of the browsers I've tested it on - IE, Firefox or Chrome. At one point I had this working but then changed the layout of the page (decreasing some div widths). I have tried changing the size of the two divs that are next to each other - that didn't work, I've tried increasing or decreasing the padding in the css below thinking that perhaps my border was being overlapped and that didn't work either. I'm about out of ideas as to why it is not appearing and wondered if someone could take a look and see what might be happening. I know I have a lot of style sheets with this and that may very well be at the root of this. You can find one of the pages that I'm having trouble with at http://bpiads.org/newsite/donate.html. Thanks very much and let me know if there is any additional info you need.
    #r_col_entrypage {
    padding-left: 20px;
    border-left: 5px solid #46673b;
    border-bottom: none;

    border-right:none;
    font-size:110%;
    font-weight: bold;

    Thank you... I had looked at the code so many times I wasn't "seeing" it. This did fix the problem of the border.
    Now, however, my container that contains the navigation has tons of empty space above it which I am trying to figure out... any thoughts on what would be causing that? I tried changing the "height" from 40px to "auto" and that doesn't seem to make any difference.
    Maureen
    Thats because you have set min-height: 200px; on the "banner" <div> which preceeds your navigation <div>. The height of the image in the "banner" <div> is only 35px so NORMALLY you would set the height to 35px BUT you can't do that because you have used the id "banner" for the <div> above that as well, where the height of the image IS 200px. Only use an 'id' once on the page. Just delete the min-height and everything should be ok.

        /*background-image:url(../images/bpi-banner-new.jpg);
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        position relative;
        height: 200px;
        width: 940px;*/
        min-height:200px;
        min-width:940px;

  • Help with creating hyperlinks in formatted CSS text

    I'm having difficulty adding links using Dreamweaver. I first
    format the text with a CSS style, then use the Properties window to
    add the hyperlink (or Insert>Hyperlink menu). It creates this,
    <p class="linkbodyleftcol"><a href="
    http://www.amcc.com">AMCC</a></p>
    However, when I place the cursor on AMCC in the design
    window, most of the CSS styles I see in the CSS Styles menu are
    crossed out with a message "...does not apply to your selection
    because it is not inherited. It is applied to a closing tag."
    To correct this, I modify the code to:
    <a href="
    http://www.amcc.com"><p
    class="linkbodyleftcol"AMCC</p></a>
    And this clears up the error. However, there must be a more
    efficient way to add links while retaining CSS formatting. Could
    someone point out a better method?
    Best regards, -gary

    But wouldn't this still entail adding a hyperlink in Design
    view then editing this code in Code view?
    Doesn't DW allow one to enter a hyperlink in Design view
    while maintaining CSS? Seems hard to believe something so simple
    would require going into the code, since CSS and hyperlinks are two
    key ingredients in web design.

  • Disc image file & CSS encoding?

    I originally exported a project with CSS encoding from DVDSP to a DLT tape for replication. (DDP 2.0 with CSS)
    I then created a disc image file of this project and don't remember if I had checked CSS format. Is there a way to determine this by looking through the Video_TS folder or possibly another way.
    thanks,
    dave

    Dave,
    Disc Images, per se, cannot have CSS applied to them (they're fixed at 2048 bytes per sector). This is so you can write the Image to DVD-Recordables - which is not allowed to have CSS on them, or mount the Disc Image on various machines; again, no CSS allowed in that application.
    For sure, Disc Images do have CSS applied to them, but this is only during DDP 2.0, DDP 2.1, or CMF formatting. Though then, you'll have an unplayable Disc Image in that case, until the replicator applies the unscrambling keys during mastering.
    So, if you left the CSS option on, it would have no affect (setting ignored) if formatting a regular "img" to hard drive or Recordable.
    Take care,
