Wrong Alignment of data in the HTML CSS format

hi,
i generated a report in both HTMLCSS & in PDF
in the PDF all the headers & the fields alignment are alright
but if i am generating it in HTML CSS the format is collapsed
can anyone tell me what is the issue while generating it in HTML format
Thanks

Hi,
I am not sure are you using spring framework or what. if yes you can populate data in command object in referenceData method of simpleformcontroller and that data will be available to the UI.

  • How to 'Publish' layout or extract the HTML/CSS?

    OK, I created a nice layout, how do I "Publish" it -- i.e. extract the HTML/CSS so I can use it on an actual web site page?  The "Reflow Overview" and other such Adobe "Getting Started" videos don't say and when I looked for such a thing as "Extract" or "Publish" or even "Upload" [ala Flash and/or Dreamweaver), all I found was "Save" and "Save As" which saves the Project as an arcane RFLW file.
    Since I found no other question like this on the Forum, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm missing something obvious!

    There was a recent update to a thread on this:
    How to export Edge Reflow work file to Dreamweaver
    Long story short, it will be easier to export code in the next release of Reflow. Until then you can get the HTML and CSS from the preview folder or you can get just the CSS from the code popover by clicking on the "<>" button on the bottom bar:
    Hope that helps and thanks for using Reflow,
    Chris

  • How to exchange data between the html in the form layout and itsparameters?

    i am trying to rephrase a question i asked a few days back and which yielded no response.
    is there any way to exchange/transfer values or data between the html in the form layout editor and the form parameters?
    for instance, is there any bridge such that the form template design (controlled by some html-based attribute), or the display property (again managed by some string value for the style:display attribute) of some of its divisions etc could be controlled by the values passed to some parameters of a portal form?
    has any body ever tried to do it or thought of doing it? or it's inherrently beyond the portal forms capacity?
    folks, any clues or hints on 'yes, that's how' or 'no, and that's why not!' please? will greatly appreciate.

  • Is it possible to create a Webservice in BI which takes XML as an input and gives PDF as output with an additional requirement that Siebel expecting the XSD from BI to send data in the BI requested format

    Is it possible to create a Webservice in BI which takes XML as an input and gives PDF as output with an additional requirement that Siebel expecting the XSD from BI to send data in the BI requested format. Siebel wants to send the data as xml to BI but not sure of the BI capabilities on giving WSDL embedded with XSD (input is a hierarchical)

    Hi All,
    I am able to fulfil above requirement. Now I am stuck at below point. Need your help!
    Is there any way to UPDATE the XML file attached to a Data Definition (XML Publisher > Data Definition) using a standard package or procedure call or may be an API from backend? I am creating an XML dynamically and I want to attach it to its Data Definition programmatically using SQL.
    Please let me know if there is any oracle functionality to do this.
    If not, please let me know the standard directories on application/database server where the XML files attached to Data Definitions are stored.
    For eg, /$APPL_TOP/ar/1.0/sql or something.
    Regards,

  • Change the HTML Report format the same as TestStand 2010 SP1 in TestStand 2012

    I have a lot of test steps (~10K)  that gets executed and the indentations on HTML report format in TestStand 2012 gets too deep.  I have to slide the horizontal bar to the right to see the report when l'm in the middle.  I did not have this issue in TestStand 2010 SP1.
    Is ther a way to change the HTML Report format (style) the same as TestStand 2010 SP1 in TestStand 2012?

    dexrays:
    We are currently investigating this issue. In order to help us with the investigation could you post a sequence file and configuration that reproduce the problem? The configuration file is located in C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\TestStand 2012\Cfg\ModelPlugins\ResultProcessing.cfg for Windows Vista / Windows 7 or you can use the Cfg link in the TestStand 2012 installation directory.
    You can use the Legacy Model Switcher (included in TestStand 2012) to use the legacy models instead of the new models. The legacy models are more backward compatible, however, this also means that you will not be able to use the improvements in the new models (for example, the new plug-in architecture). If this is acceptable then you can use the legacy model switcher to switch to the legacy models. The Legacy Model Switcher is located in the Start Menu under Programs->National Instruments->TestStand 2012->Tools->Compatibility. For more information on Legacy Model Switcher please read the online help.
    Thanks for your report and for your help with diagnosing this issue.

  • The session getattributes lost one row of data in the html input table

    Deal all,
    I have input three rows of data in a html table. But I found
    the last row will disappear and lost when it return the data to
    backend. I think that maybe caused there is an error checking which
    prompts an error and after that , I change the value of the last(3rd)
    row and try to save it. The last row disappear in the UI and being not
    sent to the back end. Here is my code of the JSP
    RosterCodeSetupCommand rosterCodeSetupCommand =
    (RosterCodeSetupCommand)request.getSession().getAttribute("rosterCodeSetupCommand");
    int cmd = rosterCodeSetupCommand.getCmd();
    int pageNo = rosterCodeSetupCommand.getPageNo();
    EtWorkTime etWorkTime = rosterCodeSetupCommand.getEtWorkTime();
    List policyList = rosterCodeSetupCommand.getPolicyList();
    As you can see, the EtWorkTime is get from the rosterCodeSetupCommand.
    Usually, the rosterCodeSetupCommand will have all the rows in the
    table. But now in EtWorkTime, I found last row data is lost.
    And in the UI, when I press Save, the last row is disappear. So I
    guess the problem is happened in
    request.getSession().getAttribute("rosterCodeSetupCommand"); But I
    can't figure out what can make the last row lost in this sentence.
    Would you mind to give me some hints on what will make this happen and
    I will try to trace the code by myself. Thanks.

  • How to retrieve data from the HTML form in the JEditorPane?

    I could quite easily use JEditorPane to render and display a simple HTML file.
    My HTML looks like this:
    <html>
    <head>
    <title> simple form</title>
    </head>
    <body bgcolor="cccccc">
    <center><h1>SURVEY THING</h1>
    </center>
    <form id="survey">
    <p>1.Type something in.</p>
    <textarea cols=25 rows=8>
    </textarea>
    <BR>
    <p>2.Pick ONLY one.</p>
    <input type="radio" name="thing" value="0" Checked> NO choice <BR>
    <input type="radio" name="thing" value="1"> First choice <BR>
    <input type="radio" name="thing" value="2"> Second choice
    <BR>
    <p>3.Pick all you like.</p>
    <input type="checkbox" name="stuff" value="A"> A <BR>
    <input type="checkbox" name="stuff" value="B"> B <BR>
    <input type="checkbox" name="stuff" value="C"> C <BR>
    <input type="submit" value="give data">
    <input type="reset" value="do clensing">
    </form>
    </body>
    </html>
    It gets diplayed fine and I can type in text, select radio buttons (they behave mutualy-exclusive,
    as they should) and check checkboxes.
    The problem I have is with retrieving the values which were entered into the form.
    If I, after editing, try to write the html to the file using HTMLWriter,
    it records the changes I made into the textarea, however all the radio and checkbox selections are lost.
    Maybe the problem is that when I enter the values I do not use any methods like
    insertBeforeStart and so on, but I believe I shouldn't need to use them to populate a form.
    Especially I never change the structure of the HTML.
    Also, when I try to traverse the Element tree and see the input elements attributes,
    I can never see a change in the entered values. However it is probably b/c I am traversing through
    the model and the changes are in the view (just a guess.)
    Anyway, if anybody could direct me onto the right path: how to retrieve the values typed in the form,
    or if it is possible at all in the JEditorPane, I would greatly appreciate.
    thanks
    maciej

    to find a soultion which allows forms/surveys to be built by people who have no java and only basic
    html knwledge. And Axualize way is probably a little bit too "high-tech."

  • Align list arrow in the Property inspector

    Hello, everyone. I am taking a WEB Design class online, and have a problem figuring out something in Dreamweaver. I need to align an image, but I can't get access to the Align list arrow in the Property inspector. I clicked on the image, but for some reason the Align list arrow still doesn't appear. I even made sure to click the expander arrow in the lower right corner of the Property inspector.
    Does anyone know why the Align list arrow isn't appearing for me, and does anyone know how I can get it to appear? I would really appreciate some help, because this assignment is due in a couple of days. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    Sorry but I have no idea what you mean by "Align list arrow."
    Which properties panel are you working with -- HTML, CSS?
    What exactly are you trying to do?
    Which elements are you working with -- i.e. paragraphs, unordered lists, ordered lists, etc...?
    For best answers here, please include the  HTML & CSS code you have so far (a link to your page is preferred).  A second option is to copy and paste code directly into the web forum post.

  • How can I use my Html/CSS Navigation bar to control an Edge Stage?

    I have an HTML/CSS navigation bar set up in my EDGE created page. The Navbar is not created in edge. I would like to use these buttons to control the stage.
    Inside the stage the main timeline has labels and stop actions every 1.5 secs to create a horizontally sliding site.
    The labels are as follows: home, work, blog, profile, and contact. I can easily use a symbol created inside edge for example:
    sym.play("home");
    and animate a 6000px width symbol across my 1000px stage in 1000px increments.
    I do not want to use a symbol inside of edge to do this because I cannot create the effect that the html/css navbar has on mouseover inside of edge.
    So I am interested in knowing if I can use this bar to control my main timeline so I don't have to sacrifice design for functionality.
    currently the link list is setup with the standard hyperlink. What code would I use to play the stage on click of the html navbar?
    Many thanks to anyone who can help with this!

    I've come across this from the Edge API:
    Edge.getComposition(compId)
    Anyone having trouble with this same issue should try this:
    var targetComp = AdobeEdge.getComposition('TARGETCOMPID');
       targetComp.getStage().play();
    in their trigger or event handler.
    How I got it to work:
    <li><a href="javascript:var targetComp = AdobeEdge.getComposition('EDGE-57204389');

  • Inserting HTML/CSS in a Tabbed Panel

    I've been having trouble inserting HTML/CSS into a Tabbed Panel widget. In this case, the HTML/CSS is creating a text box with scroll bars (as described in an excellent workaround for getting scroll bars to work).
    Has anyone else come across this situation?
    Thanks!

    I'm not seeing the same problem (the scrolling text box displays fine in the tabbed panel for me).
    Does your HTML container fit within the content area of the panel?
    Here are screenshots from Muse Design view:
    and Preview in Browser (Firefox):
    When you say it's not working, what exactly do you mean? What's happening?
    Best regards,
    Corey

  • File-Save window(saving the html page by clicking a button)

    Hi,
    when I click a button, a window should open which is same as the one which appears when we click File-save.
    This should happen to save the data that is displayed on the internetExplorer, when the user clicks the submit button on his page.(ie,Saving  the html page in his desired location).
    Thanks in advance.

    Refer FileDownload and FileUpload tutorial.
    If the idea is just to save the html page, I am not sure if it is possible.
    If the idea is to save the data in the html page then you can save it as xml format or csv format. Refer to the following tutorials:
    a) FileUpload and FileDownload
    b) Web Dynpro Binary cache

  • Where are the HTML/Source files saved on Macintosh when I click "Preview"?

    On the Mac, I typically expect files to save to my WebServer directory as:
    /Library/WebServer/Documents
    However, I cannot find the temporary html, css, scripts when I preview my site/page with the default or my localhost ip address:
    http://192.168.1.xxx:33333/Preview/website-1/index.html
    http://localhost:33333/Preview/website-1/index.html

    When working in Muse the HTML/CSS/JavaScript of the site doesn't exist.
    Unlike Edge Reflow (and the other Edge tools) Muse is not an HTML/CSS editor. Working in Muse is like working in InDesign or Word or any number of other applications. Muse has it's own representation of things and that makes it easier for us to provide a user experience that avoids many of the idiosyncrasies and limitations of HTML/CSS. It also lets up improve and evolve the HTML/CSS that's output to keep pace with the evolving web.
    With Muse HTML/CSS is only generated when a page is exported (for preview, publish, upload, etc.) and the HTML/CSS that's generated is never read back in. It's like a PDF created from InDesign. HTML/CSS is the output. It's not the original file(s).
    For the question of Web Fonts beyond those available via the Font menu, the specifcs depend on the web font hosting service you're using. However the general approach is the same. In most cases it involves applying paragraph or character styles to the text in Muse (which end up being classes in the HTML/CSS), using a web-safe font in Muse (so the code gen is live text) and then setting up the web fonts to be used by those classes.
    The snippet of code that generally needs to go in the head of each page to load the webfonts can be inserted in the Page Properties dialog for the master page (or each individual page) in Muse.
    With this approach the font will be incorrect in Muse Design view. (It will be whatever web-safe font was selected.) But it should display as the correct font when Previewed and Published/Uploaded.

  • How to calculate a date in the future and set it as field value?

    I'm trying to set the value of a read-only field to a date and time 72 hours from the current date and time. Here's how I'm doing it now:
    var futureInMilliseconds = new Date().getTime() + 259200000; // current date and time + 72 hours in milliseconds
    field.value = new Date(futureInMilliseconds);
    The field is formatted as "m/d/yyyy h:MM tt". When I test this in the debugger I see it listing the correct date and time in the future, but the value applied to the field is always the current date and time. So, I'm having a difficult time getting this to work for something that should be fairly straight forward and simple. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

    What is the "field" object?
    What happen when you use "event" for the object and not "field"?
    Even if this script is placed at the document level or any other location, it is still a calculation. It just not a field Custom Calculation Script. You are adding one value to another to get a new value.

  • When ever  enter the date start date up to next year same date between the days divided into 8 parts

    when ever  enter the date start date up to next year same date between the days divided into 8 parts
    Q1.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 1 for year YYYY
    Q1.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter1 for year YYYY
    Q2.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 2 for year YYYY
    Q2.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter 2 for year YYYY
    Q3.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 3 for year YYYY
    Q3.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of QuarterQ3 for year YYYY
    Q4.1 (YYYY) = 1st half of Quarter 4 for year YYYY
    Q4.2 (YYYY) = 2nd half of Quarter 4 for year YYYY
    Here YYYY depicts the year.
    e.g. Q1.2 (2014) depicts the 2nd half of Quarter 1 for year 2014.
    The description of these values are explained below.
    The table below provides the description about each value:
    Quarter     Quarter Range      Start Date
    Q1.1      1 Jan - 15 Feb         1st  Jan
    Q1.2      16 Feb-31 Mar         16th Feb
    Q2.1      1 Apr- 15 May          1st Apr
    Q2.2      16 May-30 June       16th May
    Q3.1      1 Jul-15 Aug             1th Jul
    Q3.2      16 Aug -30 Sep       16th Aug
    Q4.1      1 Oct -15 Nov           1st Oct
    Q4.2      16 Nov – 31 Dec      16th Nov
    The dropdown values in time window needs to be updated as per date entered by the user in the Audit Plan start date and
    should display the next four Quarter (each divided in 2 half  i.e. Eight values ) along with the year  from the selected Audit plan start date.
    for eg. If the Plan start date is given as August 10 2013 then the Time window will display the following options:
    Q3.2 (2013)
    Q 4.1 (2013)
    Q 4.2 (2013)
    Q 1.1 (2014)
    Q1.2 (2014)
    Q2.1 (2014)
    Q 2.2 (2014)
    Q 3.1 (2014)
    You can refer to the Table above and look that 10 Aug 2013 falls under the Q3.1 so Time window will display the next next 8 half Quarters ( Total 4 Quarter) till Q 3.1 for the year 2014.

    Hello,

    Q 1.2 (2014)
    Q 2.1 (2014)
    Q 2.2 (2014)
    Q 3.1 (2014)
    half_quarters generates the start dates of every half of a quarter, starting with the begin of the first quarter that contains the sample date.
    The next step is to order the dates and to select only those after the sample date.
    The last part formats the output and orders the data.
    Regards
    Marcus
