Css style class can't be used in Page Fragment?

I need to use css to modify pages. When I open a page fragment and want to apply a css rule to a button, i can't find any styleClass available in popup window: Properties->Appreaance->styleClass.
Does anyone have any idea?

Hi,
You are correct - there is a current limitation that we are working to fix. For now, you can manually add style parameters to the <div in the .jsp. I have also seen div id rule classes in the stylesheet e.g. div#content and then manually applied the div id="content" in the .jsp before the directive include.

  • How to use same page fragment more than once in a page,

    Hi Gurus,
    How to use same page fragment more than once in a page. I have a complex page fragment which has lots of Bindings (Binding Property set with backingBean variables).
    I want to use the same page fragment multiple times on the same page with different tabs.
    I want different ApplicationModule Instance for the page fragment in different tabs.
    So I have created a Bounded Taskflow with pagefragments which has this complex pagefragment.
    I've dragged the taskflow to page and created regions.
    I'm able to execute the page successfully when I have only one region but fails if I have region more than once in the page.
    Can anyone help me how to resolve this issue.
    Web User Interface Developer's Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework: section 19-2 states we can have same pagefragment more than once in a page.
    Thanks,
    Satya

  • Setting RichInputText's label CSS Style Class

    Hello,
    I'm developing with JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0 and need to programmatically assign a class style to a RichInputText's label. I see that the RichInputText item has setStyleClass and setInlineStyle methods for setting css class and inline style css but there is only one method setLabelStyle to set the item's label inline style. I need to programmatically assign a class to my item's label, is that possible?

    Roberto,
    I use a style class in a skin like
    .MYLabel af|inputText::label, af|inputText:disabled::label, af|inputText:required::label
      background-color: green;
    }and then set the MYLabel as style class to the inputText
    <af:inputText label="Label 1" id="it1" styleClass="MYLabel"/>Timo

  • Setting CSS Style Class dynamically based on Responsibility

    Hi Guys,
    Is there an elegant way of setting css class in all items of a page based on responsibility? I've seen that there is a way on attributes like readOnly, disabled and rendering thru function security. How about the other attributes like css class? I even tried PVO, hahaha...but then I read, it doesn't apply to css class... :-)
    Guys, please help! Need this.. It'll save lots of time writing the code programmatically if it can be set as SPEL. hmmmmm...
    HElp help help! Thanks in advance!

    maeve ,
    You cannot be saved from writing code :), basically based on responsibility, set the bean properties in process request, there will be not much code !

  • Need solution for Use Case - Page Fragment?

    I have a set of controls and table which I need to insert into many tabs such that each tab displays the same table and functions but with slightly different data. The controls and table could be used in many different areas so doesn't make sense to code each and everyone mutiple times. I thought then that making this set of functions a page fragment and including it would do the trick, however, an exception that I have the same ID's defined was raised.
    Can someone tell me what technology I should use for this use case such that one a single page with tabs I can include the same set of controls many times? Can page fragments be used multiple times on one page or do I need some sort of declarative component?
    Thank you,
    Kris

    Task Flows is the way to go...
    Just create a bounded task flow and create a default view activity (which is going to be your page fragment with table and other controls).
    Now you can drop this TF on every tab and this way you will get a resuable table and control.
    Read about Task flows in dev guide if you need further understanding on this.
    One more thing, this will give you exactly same stuff on each tab. So, I am not sure what you want to change in every tab? A detailed description of your requirement might help.

  • How do I use the same css style but different attributes, Without affecting another page.

    Hey everyone,
    I am using the "NivoSlider", for my dreamweaver page but I am not sure how to tell styles that one page has one attribute and the other one will have a different attribute.
    For example: in my "about us" I have a small slideshow with its own pictures. I then put  a gallery page with its own pictures, yet, I want to make that slideshow box larger without affecting the other small slideshow.
    I am using just one Style.CSS for the slideshow.
    Anyways, is their a way to tell tell the code that one page is going to be a different width then the other?
    Thank you!

    Embedded CSS rules take priority over styles in external style sheets.   So you can add page specific rules between your document's <head> tags and after all other links to external CSS files.
    <style>
         page specific rules here....

  • How to get rid of a CSS style instance that is effecting the wrong page

    I am new to CSS and I am working in Dreamweaver CC.  I am mostly designing in the large screen view and then making my changes to the tablet and phone later.
    I have the large screen design finished, and now am making changes to the tablet size. I am working on the footer (for example) and when I change the margins and sizes of the elements in the footer, it is changing the large screen version as well.  It is almost like the CSS instance for the footer is overriding my Global CSS for the footer on the large screen version.
    This is so confusing to me, I thought I could make changes in the tablet version and it wouldn't effect the other screens.
    What do I do to get the tablet CSS to stop effecting my large screen?
    thank  you

  • Can Tooltips be used with Page View data sets?

    Does the Tooltip widget alway look only at {ds_CurrentRowID}
    ? Since my Tooltip content area is displaying a spry:detailregion
    of items in a paged view it will only display data from the first
    row of each page.
    Is there a way to work around this?
    thanks!

    use {ds_RowID} instead of current row id?

  • How to apply a css style to a radio button.

    I cannot seem to persuade jsf to pass css styles through to a radio button.
    I have markup like this:
    <h:selectOneRadio id="direction" styleClass="largish-form" >
      <f:selectItem id="positive" itemLabel="positive" itemValue="positive" />
      <f:selectItem id="negative" itemLabel="negative" itemValue="negative"  />
    </h:selectOneRadio>Which gets transformed into something like:
    <!-- edited for brevity -->
    <td>
      <label>
        <input type="radio" name="comp-amount-form:direction" value="positive" class="largish-form" />
        positive
      </label>
    </td>So the style does not get applied to the text of the label. I was expecting something like
    <span class="largish-form"> positive</span>.So how do I get styled labels on my radio buttons?
    Thanks in advance.

    For a standard Portal page you should use the Portal styles and associate them to a page. These effectively generate a CSS style sheet anyway if you view the HTML source of a rendered page in your browser.
    Using the correct PDK APIs you effectively reference the CSS tags in your Java or PL/SQL code.
    If your portlet need to open a page in a new window you can no longer reference the Portal page style as the CSS style sheet does not get attached.
    In this situation, code your HTML as normal and reference your CSS style sheets as normal.
    If you create you CSS sheet you can store it in a page as a file and access using the direct access URL like I showed you in a previous response regarding the storing of images.
    Cheers,
    John

  • How to bring Sample CSS Style Sheets into a Template?

    I am creating a site from scratch using CS4 Template.  Can I incorporate more than one DW Sample CSS Style Sheet?  And how do I bring them into the Template site?
    Thanks, g

    Thank you.  I added the 3 sample css style sheets I want to use into my site.  Now I am trying to bring a different sample css into different sections of the layout.  Example:
    Sidebar 1: green/yellow
    Sidebar 2: red/yellow
    Middle: blue/yellow
    I seem to only be able to have one for the whole page.  Is this true?
    What I am doing is clicking on the div tag: <div.sidebar#sidebar1>, then "Edit CSS" and then scroll down in the Class window to "attach style sheet" and there at the bottom is a link to the sample css style sheets.  I click on the one I want and it changes the css for the whole page not just the sidebar 1. Is there a way I can get a different css sample style sheet for each sidebar in a 3 column layout, and a different sample css for the middle?
    thank you very much

  • Custom css style to region

    what solution can i get to style a region with a custom CSS style?
    can't I force the HTML region tag (is it a TD, isn't?) to have an ID or a STYLE I choose?
    (then i can insert an HTML PORTLET to write the CSS style)

    Mylenium wrote:
    A caption is its own HTML tag, nothing exclusive to an image.
    The HTML <caption> tag can be used only inside a table. It has nothing to do with images. http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/tables.html#edef-CAPTION.
    To answer the original question, the way to create a caption for an image is to wrap the image and caption text in a <span> and give the span a class called floatleft or floatright.
    <span class="floatleft">
    <img src="../images/cape_royal.jpg" alt="Cape Royal"
    width="250" height="366" />Grand Canyon at Cape Royal</span>
    Then create four style rules:
    .floatleft {
      float:left;
      margin:3px 8px 3px 0;
    .floatright {
      float:right;
      margin:3px 0 3px 8px;
    .floatleft, .floatright {
      font-weight:bold;
      text-align:center;
    .floatleft img, .floatright img {
      display: block;

    You can't bring 3 of the sample CSS style sheets together because there are defined areas like tables and lists and paragraphs that are just being redefined.  Then what happens is the browser picks (usually the last set) the instructions it wants to use to display the content.  The only way around this is to save a copy of the 3 CSS documents and open them at the same time.  Then use one as your master which will be linked to the page and grab colors from the other CSS documents.

  • Keyboard shortcuts to indivudual CSS styles

    Hello!
    I have a css style I would like to use through a keyboard
    shortcut
    I tried the following:
    * assign a keyboard shortcut to this style through the
    keyboard shortcut menu (CSS-styles section), but there the
    individual CSS styles do not show.
    * record a command (from the history steps) that assigns
    this style and then assign a keyboard shortcut to this new
    command from the
    commands manu - but user defined commands do not appear
    there. in the shortcut assigning
    menu
    Is there something I did not try and will give me the desired
    shortcut?
    Thanks

    So - I don't think you can apply a custom class with a
    keyboard shortcut.
    Frankly, if you have zillions of times you have to do this on
    a page, then
    you are not using CSS most efficiently anyhow.

  • How to attach a CSS style sheet ?

    Hi,
    How to attach a CSS Style sheet to a portal page ?
    Thanks for your help,
    Jean-Christophe

    Cheers,
    John
