CTRL-G on AR Invoice, show Blank Profit% for Sales Only Items

On SAP 8.8 PL15; when invoicing a Sales Only Item, it show Base price as 0.000, correct! Profit value corect!, but the Profit% blank, which cause the below 5% Alert to trigger. Help!

In document setting (Administration u2013 System Initialization), there are two option for calculating gross profit.
Calculate gross profit as
1.Profit / base Price
a.In this option as per your scenario, you donu2019t have the base price. So system is not showing profit % in the gross profit for the invoice document.
2.Profit / Sale price
a.If you select this option in the document setting you will get the profit %. Because gross profit will calculate based on the sale price.
So, it is your wishes, how you want the gross profit % calculation should be. So, try to change from the Profit / base Price to Profit / Sale Price

ADF Dynamic UI Shell showing Blank Tab for Task Flow

I tried implementing standard Dynamic Tab UI Shell in my application. Each Tab in my application is displaying a taskflow.
If I enable ADF Security, my Tabs are displayed as empty. I did added Task Flow Resource Grant.
But if I disable ADF security, tabs are displaying correct contents.

Search Result is showing Blank Title for some of the doc Files

Hi,
I am doing Search on SharePoint 2010 with the search scope set to one of the document library , But the search result is showing different results for different doc files. I can analyse three type of output from the search result:
1) for some records Title is shown correct.
2) for some files , Title is shown with keyword "Title:<Actual Title>"
3) and in some docs its hsowing Just the keyword "Title:" in place of actual title
I am not able to understand why the result is behaving like this.
Any assistance will be really appreciable .

In Central Administration in the Search Service in Managed Properties look for 'Title'. You will see that Title is populated from a number of properties on a document, some properties are given higher priority then others. That could be a clue.
Also, what type of document are you crawling a PDF, word document, etc? For PDFs you have to install a special iFilter and you need to be aware sometimes the properties on the actual PDF in adobe are used.
I sugest: Try to make sure you give your documents a title in SharePoint and that you rank that property as the #1 property in Central Admin that the Managed property 'Title' uses.

Invoice show zero value for service po

In your PO have flagged service based IV in invoice item details. Please post the service entry sheet in ML81N accept and saved the entry sheet.
Then, system will automatically post the goods receipt posting for the service entry sheet.
Pleas echeck it PO -History before posting the invoice,
Now post the invoice then system allow to simulate the invoice for the service PO.

Can we show blank lines for transient VO?

I'm a newbie.. Using JDev 11.1.1.2.0.
I have a requirement like this (simplified): On first page show an editable table with 2 columns: part no and date, and 10 blank rows. On hitting submit, it should go to a second page which has the part number, date, and price (from database API).
I went thru storefrontdemo example and I see they have used a transient VO for the cart. So I created a transient VO with 3 attributes - part number, date and price. Also created an AM method in the Impl class to get the price for a part/date combination.
Few questions:
1. How can I show the first page with blank rows? When i drag and drop the VO from data control palette as an editable table, I get no rows.
2. Is it wise to invoke the AM method for each row and populate the price on the transient VO attribute? Will the transient VO values display on the second page, assuming both the first and second pages are in a task flow?

Answering my own question - I just added a CreateInsert operation from data control palette and rewired the "Method" to a custom bean that does something like:
Row row = vo.createRow();
vo.insertRow(row);

IE9 Shows Blank window for Quicktime Video

Hi There.
I installed latest Quicktime (Quicktime 7) in My windows 7 PC. I am displaying quicktime video in my Asp.Net page. The Video is playing after a very long time, but it is not showing buffering info , it shows a blank white screen until the video gets buffered. The following is the code i used

sorry - i should have been more precise and said the symptoms go away after restarting mail. i said what i said because my experience is that this type of scenario sometimes tends to lead people to conclude falsely that they have identified a solution when in fact they have not. this is why, for example, "reset pram" always was claimed a solution to dozens of problems for which it had absolutely no connection. it was because merely restarting the machine (an essential precursor to resetting pram) made symptoms go away in many cases.
as to your specific point, i have rebuilt envelope index in the recent past and i'm still having the problem. i can't say for sure that it is not the case that something messed up the file in the past and has now messed it up again, so i will give it a try.

Mail shows blank body for messages

sometimes mail refuses to show the bodies of certain messages for me.
typical sequence:
1 start mail.app
2 use it for a while (working normally)
3 notice that certain message bodies appear "blank"
when #3 occurs, i select a message in list view and the preview window (where you usually see the contents or body of the message) is totally blank. once this happens for one message, it seems to also happen for many of my other messages, too. that is, if i try to select a different message (even one whose body i was just reading a few seconds ago), it now shows up with a blank preview window. i also try double-clicking to open the message in it's own window - the body part of the window is blank. i try printing the message - the body part comes out blank.
if i quit mail and restart and come back and view the same message, i can see the body ok (for a while, at least - until the problem eventually happens again). thus, this feels to me more like an issue of some kind of memory leak or some system resource being exhausted rather than some corruption of my mail files or preferences.
some things i have noticed:
- if i go to view->message->plain text alternative, i can sometimes see a plain text view of the message. this works for certain messages. for other messages (which seemingly don't have plain text alternatives) i can't do this. and for certain messages (seemingly those which were sent as raw text), i can see their bodies without doing this. the pattern seems to be that i can view text-only messages or plaintext-views of messages which provide them but i can not view them as formatted text.
- i can always view the raw text of messages.
- once this problem occurs, if i try to compose a new mail message, the window pops up and looks normal except i can not select the body part of the message. that is, hitting tab which usually works to move through the header fields and puts the cursor in the body field, simply fails to move the cursor to the body. clicking directly on the body just causes the cursor to disappear. so it is impossible to compose a new message.
- once the problem occurs in a particular instantiation of mail.app, it never seems to go away. the fix i know of is to quit mail. that always seems to make it go away, though only temporarily.
i'm wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and may have any hints as to the root cause. i should warn that i am a a bit skeptical of claims of simple fixes such as simply deleting and rebuilding the envelope database, deleting preferences, etc., because i already know that the problem is tricky in that it goes away with every restart of mail.app anyway which can lead to false reinforcement of various theories.

Flash Pop-Ups Showing Blank... but only for one user! OS X

I am absolutely at my wits end with this one. Here are my specs
My Player Version: MAC 10,1,53,64
Operating System: Mac OS 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard)
Browsers: Safari 5.0, Firefox, Chrome -- same error on all browsers
About a month ago, I noticed some strange behavior with Flash on certain sites -- namely that when I hovered over something that would create a flash pop-up (like the graphs in Google Analytics), the box would pop-up, but it would be empty -- no text, just the blank colored box. Movies played fine, other aspects of Flash played fine, just the pop-ups were broken. This was cross-browser --- didn't matter if I used Safari, Firefox or Chrome -- same broken pop-ups. Since then, I've noticed other things that don't work -- like the Adobe Privacy Settings box! The checkboxes are visible in the settings box, but no text!
As it keeps me from using Google Analytics and other important online apps, this has made me very sad.
What's strange, though, is that it only seems to affect the main user account on my Mac -- when I try to access these sites with my Guest account, everything works perfectly. Baffling.
Here is what I've done to try to troubleshoot it:
Used the Adobe Uninstaller to Uninstall Flash - no errors
Repaired permissions
Installed a fresh copy of Flash Player 10.1 - no errors
I've done this several times, trying restarts and other refreshes in between -- doesn't fix it
I went on a hunt for everything named Macromedia and Flash in my Account and trashed it. Uninstalled Flash CS4. Uninstalled Adobe Air. Used the Adobe Uninstaller again. Repaired permissions again. Restarted again. Reinstalled Flash Player again.
No dice.
I have no idea what to do next. This is driving me crazy. Please, someone, HELP!

AP Invoices: Allow Force Approvals for Managers only

Hi,
Does anyone know of a way in R12 to restrict the 'Allow Force Approval' functionality on the invoice actions form to Managers only?
Currently it seems you can only set it at System Level.

I got a response from Metalink.
There is a function called Force Invoice Approvals. By excluding this from the menu at responsibility level I was able to control the availability of the option from the actions menu.

Dummy Profit Center -- Customer Line item

I have a scenerrio on dummy profit center
1. On Augst 2006 -- A customer invoice has been posted using FB70 and some how the customer account line item when to dummy profit center and other line items were posted to a the correct profit center.
2. On August 2006 -- Due to this business reversed original customer invoice using FB08 which again has customer account line item when to dummy profit center and other line items were posted to the correct profit center.
Origianl Invoice: Customer XYZ Ltd - GL 130024 ( Customer Reconciliation Account)--- Dummy profit Center -- Dr. 235,000 USD
Reversal : Customer XYZ Ltd - GL 130024 (Customer Reconciliation Account) -- Dummy profit center -- Cr. 235,000 USD
This is want we want and this is want we see in our FI entries and all are with the same posting dates.
Now some how when you look at KE5Z (Profit Center line items report) for dummy profit centers even today.
1. You see the original customer invoice showing dummy profit center on the customer account line item as Dr. 235,000 on GL 130024.
2. You see the reversal customer invoice showing correct profit center on the other line items and you dont see customer account line item that is GL130024 on this document.
3. Because of which dummy profit center is showing Dr.balance.
PCA report:
Origianl Invoice: Customer XYZ Ltd - GL 130024 ( Customer Reconciliation Account)--- Dummy profit Center -- Dr. 235,000 USD
Reversal : Customer XYZ Ltd - No entry except the same document number with the other line items.
Could you please give us the thoughts except the PCA entry only as business dont have to have this entry. Business basically want to know the reason for not showing the customer line item on the reversal document which will knot out the dummy.

How to return blank value for a column

Hi All
We would like to create a short version of the BI report for the scorecards that has the same number and order of the columns, but far less rows. This will improve the size and performance of the Overhead, Services scorecard.
For some columns, we need blank values , which means the content should be blank , but the column should appear in the report.
I have tried checking some options in "column format" tab under column properties and played with "column header interaction" and "value interaction" , however i couldnt get the desired results.
Can we achieve this?
Please suggest me on the same.

Settings in sales order item -Profit center

HI,
When i create a credit note price with reference to billing docment.At the item level the profit center field is unchangable or grayed out ONLY for the first item and its open for other items.
Can you please explain me the behaviour of the system why its grayed out for the first and open for the rest?
where can i see the configuration for sales order item?

see u have not mentioned in which u r getting this error either in internal order or funds mangement if it is fund mangment u need to check the setting at wt time the budget is hitting either at the time of po or delievery , however if it is at the time of po then systems takes care for all the open po in your system and hit the budget.

Data in active table showing blank value.

Hello All,
I am loading the data from write opt DSO to DSO.
I have written an END Routine to populate a field (zfield)
when i load the data to the ODS , an dcheck the data in the new table of ODS it shows the data for the zfield.
But after activating the data for ODS it becomes blank.
Why does it happens?

I am not very sure but I guess we will have to do some mapping (kind of dummy e.g. constant 1) for the fields we are populating in END routine.
I guess you must have done that coz you are getting data in new table..even then check once.

I can login with the these AD users and AD direct import is working just fine. We are not using UPS.
With admin user when I click on the user it shows up proper data. But when I login with the same user it does not show me userdisplay/useredit and shows blank data. Also another strange thing is when I add new item in list with these AD users created by
modified by is blank and its really strange. I checked user information list, tried to rerun user sync with direct AD import option but no success.

According to your description, my understanding is that the page is blank when the use accessed /_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx and the created by field was blank when the user created a new list item in SharePoint 2013.
I tested the same scenario per your post, however I cannot reproduce your issue.
For troubleshooting this issue, I recommend to verify the things below:
Check the permission of the user in the corresponding site collection to see if he can access /_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx.
Delete the user from AD and SharePoint, then re-add the user to AD and grant proper permission to the user in SharePoint to see if the issue still occurs.
Did this issue occur with all the users? Add a new user in AD and test the same scenario.
