Cumulative quantities on sched. agreement forecast in inbound IDoc DELFOR

Hello, we have a customer that send cumulative quantities on forecast line of a 830 EDI message. Do SAP inbound IDoc processing manages cumulative quantities, or I have to transform them to corresponding discrete quanities?
Example
FST1300DW20111001
FST1400DW20111008
FST1700DW20111015

I'm new to 862 (Shipping Schedule) iDocs and I'm having a problem with the dates/quantities during the update processing. We are receiving an inbound 862 and we run the transaction BD87 to update a Scheduling Agreement. BD87 processes without any errors. When we check the Scheduling Agreement, we expect the Forecast Delivery Schedule dates/quantities to be updated, but the JIT Delivery Schedule dates/quantities are being updated instead. How do I determine which dates/quantities are to be updated with my inbound data?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

  • Cumulative Quantities in Scheduling Agreement

    Hi All
Can anyone tell me  how this works with *** quantites, we have always ran from receipts.  However, if we choose inbound deliveries does that mean when we send releases the YTd receipt + open Inbound deliveries will be sent as the YTD *** values to our vendor.
Our company is looking for something with intransit values as part of our cums.   How does this affect our *** requirements if this is changed?

  • What is meant by sched agreement? purpose of its?

what is meant by sched agreement? purpose of its?

    Hi Deva,
Schedule agreements allow you to have 2 different sets of schedule lines (VBEP-ABART).  Standard SAP you should have two sets of tabs - of schedule lines. One Forecast & the other JIT.  Forecast forwards the schedule lines to planning (seen in MD04) and JIT passes them to shipping (VL10). They can be identical or different. Typically these are used for component supplier customers (namely Automotive). The customer will provide you 4-10 weekly buckets (usually a
Monday date) of future forecast qtys. Also send you 1-2 weeks of individual FIRM ship dates - which are entered on the JIT. It comes down to the customer not knowing exactly what they need next week, but they don't want to suprise you with a large order qty, where your lead times are 5+ days. The forecasted qtys they sent last week should account for this.
Cumulative Quantities are tracked and influence how the schedule agreement passes requirements to both forecasting and shipping. These qtys are sometimes requested by the customer on ASNs. Cumulative qtys reset at year end unless you've got a customer calendar or you've modified standard SAP userexits to not reset.

  • Cumulative Quantities in a BEx Query

    Hi Friends,
I have to get the Cumulative Values for a Key Fig Actual Quantity in a BEx Query.
    The scenario is as follows:
I have the following data in the cube:
    YearWeek       ActQuantity
      200601                     35
      200602                     40
      200651                      30
      200652                      35
      200701                      20
      200702                      35
      200703                      45

      200801                      40
      200802                      35
      etc.,
The Report Req is as follows:
The user will enter any range (Eg: 200748 - 200802)
and he wants to see the report as follows:
    YearWeek ActQnty  CumQnty
(Cumltd from 1st wk of the year)
    200748                    45             2500  (2455 + 45)

    200801                    40                40 (since it is 1st week)
    200802                    35               75
Important thing is the report should show the quantities only for that period (weeks), the user entered. But the cumulative values must be from the first week of that calender year.
    Thanks for any help/suggestion.
    Regards,
    Ranjith

    Hi Rakesh,
Actually the user enters two values (eg: 200740 - 200748) and he wants to see the actual quantities and cumulative quantities only for the weeks between the user entered i.e., between 200740 and 200748.
But when I execute the query with user exit variable I defined, I am getting actual quantities and cumulative quantities from 200701 to 200748. The values are correct but I want to restrict this report only to the period between 200740 and 200748.
The user entry range may also cross between two different years (eg: 200748 - 200812)
    Thanks for your help.

  • MRP to consider Sched Agreement or Contract Qty limit

    Hi experts,
    I have this master data:
Sched Agreement SA#1 - 100units Target Qty; validity is May 1 to Dec 31, 2014
    Source List - SA#1 valid from May 1 to Dec 31, 2014
    DepRequirements:
    a) 50 units - May 5, 2014
    b) 30 units - June 5, 2014
    c) 20 units - July 5, 2014
    d) 15 units - Aug 5, 2014
When I execute MRP for Sched Lines, all requirements a/b/c/d are assigned with Schedule Lines.  But considering the maximum target of 100 units by the SA, I want MRP to just create Sched Lines for requriements a/b/c (total is 100 units)
Is this possible in MRP via standard settings, or only Badi can address this "target qty limits"?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello
MRP does not check the schedule agreement target quantity.
This is the system standar behavior and note 83343 explains it in detail.
A maximum quantity can be considered on the MRP run by means of the quota arrangement.
The following document provides this information and another common issues on source determination:
MRP: Vendor is not selected and general problems on source determination
If you want to develop your own code to check the target quantity, the only option that I see is MD_MODIFY_SOURCE. This BAdI allows you to define your own logic for the source determination during the MRP run.
Take a look on the following document for the most common BAdIs on MRP:

  • User eixt for modifying inbound idoc (delins) not working

    hi all,
Inbound IDoc DELINS.DELFOR02 is sent from customer to vendor to create forecast delivery schedule lines (VA32). E1EDP16-WMENG has the delivery quantity and it is mapped to VBEP-WMENG.
I need modify E1EDP16-WMENG accordingly (based on some business rules) and this change should also be reflected to VBEP_WMENG.
I tried to modify the idoc_data in user exits: EXIT_SAPLVED4_002, userexit_zuordnen_idocs. During debug, I can see the idoc is modified, but the final forecast delivery is not updated (VA33).
    Anyone can help?
    Thanks!
    Regards
    Hui

    Hi Sandip,
Inside userexit_zuordnen_idocs, i updated the table idoc_data_1 (I changed the delivery quantities of the schedule lines), but it dosen't work. In Va33, the delivery quantities are not changed.
    Any other input?
    Thanks!

  • Inbound Idoc with T-code: BORGR ( Inbound delivery create) EDI cannection

    Dear all,
Kindly help me to create inbound delivery with BORGR transaction.
Here the we have to create the inbound delivery in the system with the help of vendor number and material without using Scheduling agreement number in BORGR
Please suggest the processing code and the function module required for the BORGR document posting.
I have done the following steps u2026but not able to post the dummy idoc through WE19 .
    1.     Use standard message Type DESADV (T code: WE81).
    2.     Use standard IDOC type DELVRY05 (T code: WE30).
    3.     Assign message type  to IDOC Type ( Tcode: WE82).Message Type:-DESADV, Basic Type:-DELVRY05,Release 700
    4.     Use standard assignment of process code DELS with the message type DESADV ( Tcode: WE42)
    5.     Inbound Function Module :  IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 ( T code : WE57)
    6.     Define Port type File (Tcode: WE21) Port u2013 EDI_ASN Inbound Delivery.
    7.      Define Partner Profile (Tcode: WE20) Inbound Parameters.
    8.     Enhancement can be done in inbound IDOC as per the business requirement. Business has confirmed Field name wise Inbound IDOC data which will be received from vendor and all fields are available in the standard IDOC type DELVRY05.
Please help if anything more required for posting dummy idoc .
    Thanks and regards,
    koshti

    Hi Dick,
just one additional hint as we had recently such problems :
It my happen that DESADV creates an inb.del <b>w/o</b> packing the HUs (idoc status is 'yellow' instead of 'red'). To avoid this OSS #912470 is the solution.

You can maintain two different address for the business agreements (can be treated as mailing address for the printed invoice)but you can not maintain more than one standard address for BP as any given time.

  • Creation of Sales Order and Service Contract from Inbound IDOC

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is to create a Sales Order as well as a Service Contract from one Inbound IDOC. I am getting the Inbound IDOC from a third Party. The message type is ORDERS and Basic Type is ORDERS02. How ever i am using an extension type IDOC which carries all the required data for Sales Order and Service Contract. My requirement is like, to create a Sales Order first.
I have created a Z FM which is attached to the Process Code and subsequently to the message type. Inside the FM i an calling FM 'IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS' for creation of Sales Order. After that i am changing the IDOC data for the Document Type. I am changing the document type which is responsible for Contract Creation.
Then I am again calling the FM 'IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS' for creation of Contract with the help of IDOC data. But here the Contract is not getting created. It's getting failed during the Batch input session.
I need to solve this problem as soon as possible. Please help me. If there are any other options also please share.
    Thanks in Advance.

Actually there is problem with BDCDATA. Inside the FM it's calling transaction with help of BDCDATA. If i am creating a Sales order or contract alone its creating successfully. But when i am trying to create both, it's retuning sy-subrc '1001' after calling the transaction on the second attempt. Is there any problem with BDCDATA like we can't handle with less time gap? Please help and give your inputs.

  • Creation of Service Contract from Inbound IDOC

    Hi Experts,
I am using Inbound IDOC type ORDERS02 with message type ORDERS for creation of Sales Order. Now my requirement is like to create a  Service Contract from that Inbound IDOC. The IDOC type contains all the data require to create a Service Contract. The scenario is like, after creation of Sales Order it will check for the corresponding Service Contract exits or not by querying on a Z table which contains all those entries.
So my idea is to create a Z Program, in which it will check for the Service Contract and will create the same by reprocessing the same IDOC or by calling some Function Module. Please suggest how shall i proceed to create a Service Contract.
Is there any way to reprocess the IDOC or to collect the Data from the IDOC segments pass them to a FM which is responsible for creation of Inbound IDOC. Please suggest if this is feasible.
    Thanks in Advance.

I have requirment that i need to read a file from presentation and application server and put in inbound idoc FM.Idoc will be processed in batch.
How can i put selection screen in FM and read the file?or how can i proceed  with the solution?
    Please help..
    Umesh

    Hi Umesh,
My understanding on your requirement is to read a file from pres. server and pass the data to an IDoc function module. Am I correct?
If this is the case then you can create a report which picks up the file from pres. server and then read data from the file and pass it to the parameters of the required function module.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to create the INBOUND Function Module for INBOUND IDOCs

    Hi Friends,
Can any Suggest me How to proceed to Create an INBOUND Function Module for Processing the INBOUND IDOCS
which are recieved from XI Server ?
    I am working in SAP-ISU
Here i will recieve the INBOUND IDOCs for the Meter Reading Orders.
We have a Standard INBOUND FUNCTION MODULE
    IDOC_INPUT_ISU_MR_UPLOAD
which Uploads the Meter Reading Results.
I copied the Same function Module into ZIDOC_INPUT_
    and working on it.
Can any one suggest me, whether i am going in correct way or not.
    In IDOC_INPUT_ISU_MR_UPLOAD Inbound fun module,
BAPI_MTRREADDOC_UPLOAD is used to Update or Insert the Meter Reading Results,
My requirment is to Insert and Update the Meter Reading Orders which are Inbounded from XI.
Can I Use the Same BAPI
    BAPI_MTRREADDOC_UPLOAD
    to Update the below fields,
    EABL-SERNR
    EABL-ZWNUMMER
    EABLG-ABLESGR
    EABL-V_ZWSTAND
    EABL-N_ZWSTAND
    EABL-ABLHINW
    EABL-ZSKIPC
    EABL-ADAT
    EABL-ATIMTATS
    EABL-ADATTATS
    EABL-ATIM
    EABL-ZMESSAGE
    EABL-ABLESER(Meter reader number)
    Kindly Suggest me,
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ganesh

    Hello Ganesh
I think you are going completely astray with you z-function module for IDoc processing.
If you look at TABLES parameter METERREADINGRESULTS (type BAPIEABLU ) of BAPI_MTRREADDOC_UPLOAD you will find many of the requested fields already:
    EABL-SERNR => BAPIEABLU-SERIALNO
    EABL-ZWNUMMER =>REGISTER
    EABLG-ABLESGR
    EABL-V_ZWSTAND
    EABL-N_ZWSTAND
    EABL-ABLHINW
    EABL-ZSKIPC
    EABL-ADAT
    EABL-ATIMTATS => ACTUALMRTIME
    EABL-ADATTATS => ACTUALMRDATE
    EABL-ATIM
    EABL-ZMESSAGE
    EABL-ABLESER(Meter reader number)
Field EABL-ZMESSAGE appears to be custom field (at least I cannot find it on ECC 6.0). If this field was added using include CI_EABL then you probably can get these values into the BAPI using the EXTENSIONIN parameter.
Check routine CHECK_UPLOADRECORDS in the BAPI which allows two extension structures:
    - BAPI_TE_EABL
    - BAPI_TE_EOSB
Not surprisingly BAPI_TE_EABL contains the include CI_EABL.

  • Problem with user exit EXIT_SAPLIEDI_001 for Inbound Idocs in replacing G/L

    Hello all,
I am currently facing an issue where my IDOC where exit EXIT_SAPLIEDI_001 is not appearing to work properly.
Basically I am using the FM that processes the inbound idoc (IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_FI) to post an accounting document. We needed a solution where we need to substitute one of the G/L Accounts.
The current process in our SAP system is that we are creating a billing document which automatically generates the output type (running: program rsnasted subroutine edi_processing) to create and process the inbound idoc.
So I discovered FM EXIT_SAPLIEDI_001 which exports company code and G/L Account back does this.
In this exit, Since I needed to get data from the IDOC, I used the logic ASSIGN: ('(SAPLIEDI)IDOC_DATA[]') TO <fs_edidd> to get the DATA Records for further processing.
During the development and testing phase in the Sandbox system this works.
However when we moved this to production we encountered a situation where the G/L account was not being substituted so were assuming EXIT_SAPLIEDI_001 is not working properly. However when I reprocess this in production either by running the idoc with errors RBDMANI2 or BD87 the IDOC is properly posted and the G/L Account is substituted as well as if I try to repeat the output type of the billing document. So there are instances when in the actual business scenario it does not work except when I reprocess it.
I was wondering if there are any ideas why this could have happened?
Oh ... I  also noticed when we transported the objects of the exit. When I try to double click the subroutine I made inside the exit it said the object does not exist. I had to generate the function group of FM EXIT_SAPLIEDI_001 in SE80 in production for it to reflect. I was wondering if this could have caused the issue.
Well I hope to hear from you.
