Custom authority object on MRBR

Hello,
Can I create a custom authority object and assign the same to standard t.code MRBR?
Currently MRBR is offering authority check based on EKGRP. But this is not catering to our requirements. We want to restrict the authorisation based on EKORG (Purchase Organisation) also. This is particularly for Releasing of blocked invoice.
Any ides on this matter please......

M_RECH_EKG :Invoice Release: Purchasing Group
M_RECH_SPG: Invoices: Blocking Reasons
Please check in SU24 whether these are maintained or not,if not please main them .

How to use custom authority object to execute certain code?

Hi Gurus,
I'm trying to use an authority-check just to execute certain ABAP code for some roles only, but I don't get to make it work as every user gets to exectute the code. I'm also not sure of which field(s) I should add to my authorization object when I'm checking it.
Does anyone know if there's a way of making it? Thanks in advance.

Hi.
If the authority object is already created then you can view in transaction SU21, Select the custom object and double click on it.
You can see the Authorization fields that need to be passed to the authorization object while using.
For eg: If you see BUKRS, then you need to pass the company codes relevant so the authority check is performed
All Authority object has activity which informs the operation to be performed. for eg:
ACTVT: Activities.
01 = Create
02 = Change
03 = Display
06 = Delete
07 = Activate
10 = Post
Also check for documentation if it is available, if so it makes life easy.

How to add custom authorization object to a SAP standard transaction

Hi All,
I have a standard tcode IW22 (change PM Notification) and I would lock changing when some users modify the field Functional Location (field TPLNR).
Since this field does not have an authorization object associated, I've tried to solve this problem with the following steps:
- tcode SU20 - creation of new authorization field TPLNR with data element TPLNR
- tcode SU21 - creation of a new auth object in transaction SU21 with name ZPM and field (TPLNR, ACTVT and TCOD)
- tcode SU24 - insert of new authorization field e check indicator (green)
- tcode SU22 - check indicator - check (green)
After this we have created a new role with PFCG and add transaction IW22; the new auth.ZPM was added manually.
We have try to analyze log (ST01 trace) but it seems no check was made in the trace file.
It seems new authorization object was not checked.
My question is: "Is it possible to add a custom authorization object into standard transaction and implementing authorization check without writing abap code in exit or badi ?"

No .. not possible. The list of Auth. objects SAP proposed in SU24 for each Stnd. SAP TCodes are basically documentation of the Authority-Checks in the program for that TCode. The extra advantage of SU24 is to set the object status (means the proposal for availability in PFCG) among any of the four check indicators. So that we can provide our own value (customer specific values which are basically defined and separate from sap provided values) and reinforce the authorization concept of the organization.
So you need to provide a Authority-Check for ZPM in the program of IW22 to make sure that the fields you want to be checked are really being checked during execution of the tcode.

Custom authorization object and check logic

Hi gurus,
we need to apply additional authorization check in our custom reports.
so i created a custom fields & object, and put the statement
      AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'ZHR_APP01' FOR USER uname
               ID 'ZROLEID' FIELD '03'
               ID 'ZSOBID' FIELD zzdwbm.
in a abap class method centrally, so it could be called by many reports.
but the test show that the sy-subrc always set to 0, even for users without any authorization.
what i missed for adding custom auth check?
for this case, do i need to maintain authorization check indicator in SU24?
what i am confused is that , su24, you have to maintain a transaction , but our authorization check is not for transaction , but for reports and bsp application, how should i maintain su24 for that?

HR custom authorization objects

Is it possible to have more than one custom HR authorization object active at the same time? For example if I need 2 custom variations of P_ORGINCON (I have some very complex requirements), is that possible, or am I limited to just 1? Having more than 1 seems to present a problem when I run RPUACG00 to generate include MPAUTCON. It overlys the code generated fo the first cusom object with code for the second object, therefore only allowing cgenerated code to exist for 1 of the objects.
And one additional question - when I create a custom HR object (one which contains infotype, subtype, persg, persk etc), am I limitied to only using fields from PA0001 in that object? If I include some other field that does not exist on PA0001, when I run RPUACG00 it gives me the error "Field xxx is not allowed in authorization object Z_xxx".

One example of a requiremnet I have is for a manager to have 3 different types of authority based on when a position was in his org structure. So if a position is currently in his org structure he might have WRITE access to their infotype 2,6,8... for positions that were in his org strucure between 1 and 60 days ago (but are not in his structure as of today) he might have WRITE access to their infotype 2 and 6 and READ access to other infotypes, and for people that were in his structure 61-9999 days ago, he might have only READ access to all the position's infotype data.
I was thinking of using 3 disctinct HR authorization objects to cover each of these 3 scenarios, but ran into the issue mentioned above with the generation program RPUACG00.

Global list of all custom/developed objects

Hi all!
We need to get a list of all custom objects of a SAP systems.
First time we think accessing TADIR to get all repository objects of the system and after this access, get all atributes for any of the retrieved objects.
Example:
To a report, access TADIR and TRDIR dictionary tables. in TADIR use class of development custom or in TRDIR any of the user that don't belongs to SAP.
But this solution to the problem is very effort and we should access so too many tables for the objects to get their attributes.
Second time, we think filtering the objects using their namespace with FM TR_CHECK_NAME_CLASS, but this option jumps some objects, like VOFM generated objects or customer exits form VA01 transaction.
Do any of you know the way of extracting a list of all Custom/developed objects for a System?

Authority Object Table name

Hi All,
is there any method to find out the Authority object Relation to table-field name.,like M_MATE_WRK has relation with fieldname WERKS in table MARA.
I dnt want to use and custom authorization and link with it any table.

most error relating to table DOKTL are caused by misconfigured network card.
if this is a "home" system, install a loopback adapter from Microsoft and use IP address 127.0.0.1 and also check "hosts" file for inconsistency. do not use the IP adddress provided by your ISP as it may change.

Error while running Webi report that uses Custom Dimension object(SAP BW)

I have a universe that is based on SAP BW.I have created a custom dimension object that displays the maximum date.
The object syntax is

The object parses successfully.
The object 'Calendar Day ' is a defaultobject created during universe creation from the BW query.It is defined as [0CALDAY].[LEVEL01]
I tried to create a Webi report using this object and a measure .On running the query it throws the following error:

I have tried every possible syntax I could think of but I keep getting this error each time.I have set the object type to Number (even though it is actually a Date), I have tried writing the MDX inside the Max instead of the @select , but nothing seems to work.Could anyone please let me know why this error is occuring?Is there anything wrong with the syntax or is there any setting in Webi needed before a custom dimension object can be used on it.

Can you see data for Custom object @ BEx level??
YES, then just try to re-create the same variable and Save the BW query.
Now do View - refresh Strusture @ Universe. And you can see Filter for the same, just Parse it, just whether it is OK or not.
OK -- then Export the Universe and create WebI reports, this will come as Prompt.

Calling Web Service Proxy with Custom java Object as parameter

I created a web service proxy from WSDL URL using JDeveloper 11g(.5 version)
I need to call a webservice method which takes custom Java Object( Ex: ABC.java) as Input parameter. It creates the XSD java (ABC.java) file for that.
@XmlElementRef(name = "abc", namespace = "http://impl.service.ns.test", type = JAXBElement.class)
protected JAXBElement<ABC> abc;
ABC.java has a property of type java.util.Set of a custom Java Object (Set<XYZ.class>)
It doesn't create xsd file for XYZ.java.
@XmlElementRef(name = "XYZ", namespace = "http://model.ns.test/xsd", type = JAXBElement.class)
protected JAXBElement<Set> xyz;
Please help me.

The passing of Java objects in and out of a web service is NOT supported. variables must be xml documents defined by a XML schema. In my opinion, missing Java object and WSDL is not a good idea. -Edwin

How to find out in which role an authority object is included

Hi,
I need to call web services by an external application. Therefore the authorization object S_SERVICE is needed to call services.
Now I want to add this object to a specific sap user, but how can I find out in which role this object is included? I don't want to create a new role for just only this standard SAP authority object.

Now that you have required role with you .. simple assign that role to user id from transaction SU01 (Roles tabs).
Sap standard roles will already have profile in it. You might have to generate the profile. Goto transaction PFCG enter role name hit display button , goto Authorisation tab, hit Display Authorisation button and on next screen press generate button (Shift+f5).
By the way you can use SUIM to find role and profile for given authority object
