Custom BDOC Initial Load Debug!

Hi,
Is there a way to debug the initial load of a custom BDOC initiated in CRM.
Scenario - Custom BDOC needs to update a Z table in CRM from R/3.
Status of the Initial load is green but neither BDOC is created nor the Z table in CRM updated with the data in R/3.
Z table in R/3 has fields with data type CURR & DEC.
Thanks,
Anand

Hi Anand,
- Block the CRM outbound queue in transaction smqr (or smqs),
- Make sure that the RFC users that are used to communicate between the SAP systems are in dialog mode,
- Enter the R3* queue: using the debug button of the queue, you should be able to jump into R/3 in a debugging session.
Kind regards,
Michael.

  • Initial load of data to UCM for Customer Hub PIP

    Hi,
What is the recommended approach to have XREF tables populated during an initial load to UCM (via EIM), when the Accounts already exist in Siebel CRM?
Our approach as of now, using EIM, is as follows:
    1) Set required customer information in EIM_UCM_ORG
    2) Look up the customer's existing Row_ID in Siebel, and populate EIM_UCM_ORG.EXT_SYSTEM_NUM and EIM_UCM_ORG.UCM_EXT_ID) accordingly
    3) Run the EIM job and UCM Batch Process to import the customer into UCM
The account then appears in UCM with the correct reference to siebel/row_id under the "external account IDs" tab. HOWEVER, it also contains a reference to a newly created duplicate record for that account in Siebel. Looking at the xref tables, there is no reference to the existing Siebel/row_id specified in the EIM batch load, and our hypothesis is that this is the reason the account cannot be found (and a duplicated is created). What we want to achieve here is to tell UCM that the accounts we are inserting do infact already exist in Siebel CRM, and can be identified by the row_id that we pass along.
The relevant system versions are Customer Hub PIP 11g with AIA 3. Siebel CRM and Siebel UCM are on patch 8.1.1.7 (and pertinent ACRs have been incorporated in the two Siebel instances).
Any hints or suggestions on how to approach this would be appreciated

Do you really need to populate the XREF table/transaction History table for initial load?

  • Initial Load for marketing Attributes & Attribute sets in Cloud for customer 1405 version

    Hi All,
I am working on Cloud for Customer Implementation with integration using Netweaver PI. SAP has just upgraded the CfC to 1405 version. In the latest integration guide & scenarios, there is provision to integrate marketing attributes & attribute sets as well.
I am following the latest integration guide (1405 version) but could not find any provision or template report for initial load of marketing attributes. Can anyone please assist in the initial load for marketing attributes?
    Cheers.

    Hello to all,
as the marketing attributes ar now supported in release 1502 i would like to ask you if there is now a way to perform an initila load for matketing attributes (Attribute Set, Attributes and Attribute assignemnt). This would be very helpful for all integration projects including marketing attributes.
Thnaks for your help and best regards,
    Markus

  • Debug Middleware Initial Load

    Hi Experts,
How do I debug initial load data? I am uploading data from R3  to CRM. Some of the set types data is missing. How do I debug to find out why some set type data is being uploaded successfully where as some data is not related to an equipment(installed base).
    Regards,
    Abdullah Ismail.

    Hi Shalini,
I have put an external break point in the specified badi but it does not stop there. There is some issue with the initial load and queues. When I unregistered the queues and execute r3as, all the queues get registered. Hence debugging does not work. There is some problem with the delta load also when the equipment is changed in the R3 side. The functional guys are trying to fix it up. Hopefully it finishes soon and I get to award you points
    Regards,
    Abdullah

  • No BDoc traces generated on Initial Load (R3AS)

    Hi,
I am trying to replicate Stock data from CRM to MDM.
I created Adapter object for stock and also the sites.
The initial flow context is set, and i am retrieving data from CRMD_STOCK table.
I have written a function module CRM_MDM_STOCK to fill the messaging bdoc.
I was getting the data earlier (the BDOC trace from SMW01 had data).
Now when i run the initial load(r3as), i donot get any BDOC traces also.
I set a breakpoint in my FM too, its not hitting there too.
Can any1 suggest me, how do i go about this now?
    Thanks a lot,
    Regards,
    Rashmi

    Hello Rashmi,
Check txn:SMO8FD, you would come to know the flow definition for your BDoc type.
And you will know why its not hitting the BP.
    Hope this helps!
    Best Regards,
    Shanthala Kudva.

  • No initial load of Customers, Material and delta load of Sales Orders.

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a very troublesome issue. I am not able to setup the Middleware portion for initial and delta loads. I read a lot of documents and corrected a lot of things. finally, the connectivity is done with R/3 and CRM. Initial load of all objects is successful (as per Best PRactices guide). Customizing load is successful.
But after now I have these open issues for which I am unable to find any answers (am really exhausted!!):
    - Customer_main load, it was succesful, but no BP's of R/3 are available.
    - Material, it failed in SMW01, SMQ2, the errors are:
Mat. for Initial Download: Function table not supported
EAN xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
EAN yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
Plant xx is not assigned to a business partner
    - Sales order, it shows green bdoc, but error segments says "No upload to R/3" and the order does not flow to R/3.
We had our system setup 3 years back for data transfer and Middleware. But few things changed and connectivity stopped. I did all that again now, but am not yet successful. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Pat

    Hi Ashvin,
The error messages in SMW01 for MAterial initial load is :
Mat. for Initial Download: Function table not supported
EAN 123456789000562 does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
EAN 900033056531434 does not correspond to the GTIN format and cannot be transferred
Plant 21 is not assigned to a business partner
I have done the DNL_PLANT load successfully. Why then the plant error?
Some of the messages for BP:
    Messages for business partner 1331:
No classification is assigned to business partner 1331
    For another,
Partner 00001872(469206A60E5F61C6E10000009F70045E): the following errors occurred
City Atlanta does not exist in country US
Time zone EST_NA does not exist
You are not allowed to enter a tax jurisdiction code for country US
Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.
Now, the time zone EST is assigned by default in R/3. Where do I change that? I do not want to change time zones as this may have other impacts. Maybe CRM I cna change this, not for sure in R/3. City check has been deactivated in R/3 and CRM, still the error.
Till these 2 are not solved, I cannot go into the Sales order loads.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Pat

  • Initial load of sales orders from R3 to CRM without statuses

    1) Some sales orders were uploaded into CRM without statuses in the headers or line items.
    2) Some sales orders were uploaded without status, ship-to, sold-to, payer.....If I deleted them and use R3AR2, R3AR4 to upload each individual then no problem.
    Any ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Request load of adapter objects uses different extractor modules for extracting the data from external system to CRM. While your initial load of sales docs. will use a different extraction logic bases on the filter conditions specfied on trx.
    R3AC1
There may be a problem in the extraction of data from the source system (don't know if you are using a R/3). Can you please de-register the R/3 (i suppose) outbound queue using trx.
    SMQS
, and then debug the extraction (R/3 outbound) before the data is sent to CRM using FM
    CRS_SEND_TO_SERVER
If this goes well, you may try debugging the mapper in CRM inbound and the validation module in CRM as a last resort. Also, please refer to trx.
    SMW01
to see if the Bdocs are fully processed.
    Hope this helps...Reward if helpful.
    Regards,
    Sudipta.

  • [SOLVED]Custom DSDT not loading - OEM battery doesn't work - Sony Vaio

EDITING ORIGINAL POST TO POST SOLUTION so I don't do a massive bump
Installed windows and ran the BIOS flasher that came with the battery. Didn't work until I changed a line in the plaintext configuration file (config.ini or something) it comes with. Changed "Capacity: 20" to "Capacity: -10". This changed the battery charge requirement from 20% to negative ten percent (any negative number will do), allowing the program to run and flash the BIOS. Didn't realize I could do that, but it fixed  the problem 100%.
    #### BEGIN ORIGINAL POST: ################################
    Hey guys,
I'm a bit of a linux noob, but I've spent many hours this week trying to fix this issue on my own and have learned a lot about making custom kernels, hardware stuff, ACPI, and ABS. However, nothing I've done has worked and I've hit a wall. For reference, I'm on a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ4000 with linux-3.0 base kernel, gnome3/gdm. The battery is made in china and doesn't list a manufacturer, just model number BPS8, 52000mAh.
    [Backstory]
So I recently got an OEM battery to replace the broken original, which hasn't worked since before I installed arch (though it worked with an Arch install I did a couple years ago). When I first plugged it in, the gnome battery symbol popped up listing the battery at 0% with an exclamation icon. I unplugged from AC power and the laptop still ran, but the battery monitor just said it was at 0% and 'Estimating' remaining time. I figured this was a glitch with gnome or just because it was this battery's first cycle so I let it run down until it hard-crashed. Then I plugged back into AC and tried to turn on the computer, but it wouldn't do anything until I removed the battery.
Looking into the problem I discovered this was due to the ACPI firmware table DSDT being compiled for Windows, which has, shall we say, fewer restrictions on sanity than the Intel ASL compiler used for UNIX systems. Sure enough I extracted /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/DSDT to find that its section about the battery contained the entry 'Zero' for Battery Technology, which translates to "non-rechargeable", rather than 'One', which makes it chargeable. acpitool confirmed this; my system thought the battery was non-rechargeable and was constantly discharging it. Needless to say I've only been putting it in temporarily to test solutions since.
    [/backstory]
[tl;dr] DSDT firmware contains malformed battery description, now I can't get my system to run with a custom DSDT. [/tl;dr]
    Attempted solutions:
    [1]
Extract, modify, recompile DSDT and include it with the kernel compilation .config options
    CONIFG_ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT=y
    CONFIG_ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT_FILE="/usr/src/custom_dsdt.hex
    CONIFG_STANDALONE=n
as suggested here, a page linked to by the arch wiki page on DSDT.
I followed the instructions but no matter what this has generated errors during the kernel compilation, sometimes due to every line containing unexpected \231 (or other numbers) characters, sometimes finding some error in the DSDT file and then claiming that the driver it was compiling (ol.c somewhere in the drivers/acpi section I believe) had references to undefined functions all over the place. I CANNOT compile with a custom DSDT specified.
    [2]
Place recompiled DSDT in /lib/initcpio/custom.dsdt and add 'dsdt' to the HOOKS in mkinitcpio (and rebuild the initramfs-linux-*.img, of course). Another version of this included recompiling the kernel with CONFIG_STANDALONE disabled.
In neither of these situations has the running DSDT ever been anything but the BIOS-supplied one and not once has the battery shown any different behavior.
acpitool and $ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info have consistently claimed the information specified in the BIOS-supplied DSDT; the battery is non-rechargeable and is discharging at an unknown rate. Sometimes acpi will even report that the battery has zero capacity.
The arch wiki does say mkinitcpio doesn't support the dsdt hook as of 2.6.30, but [1] didn't work either and mkinitcpio -H dsdt still told me to try this so I did.
    [3]
    The final solution I have tried has been to do [2] but to recompile the kernel with the legacy support for battery and ac adapter stuff disabled. I tried this because it was suggested in the kernel.log;
Sep  13 11:51:03 localhost kernel: [   11.740059] ACPI: Deprecated procfs I/F for AC is loaded, please retry with CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER cleared
    Sep  13 11:51:03 localhost kernel: [   11.753434] ACPI: AC Adapter [ADP1] (on-line)
    The corresponding line now reads
    ACPI: AC Adapter [ADP1] (on-line)
(The same goes for the battery BAT0)
but all this does is remove the battery/ and adp1/ folders from /proc/acpi/ and break acpitool functionality. The log still doesn't mention the dsdt hook, either.
    [4]
The old way to do this was to use the acpi-dsdt-initrd-patch-* patch, but that hasn't been updated for modern kernels, presumably because of the new "functionality" from mkiniticpio. The current kernel .config doesn't include any options for ACPI initrd/initramfs support or reading a DSDT from initramfs, which is the functionality provided by this patch.
This covers all the methods I've been able to find on the internet and I'm at a loss for what to do. Am I doing something wrong in [1]? Under what conditions will the compiler fail/succeed with a CONFIG_ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT_FILE?
When I recompile I fix the 'Zero' definition and a couple compiler errors and warnings. The errors come from section length definitions, which read as 0x00000000 rather than the appropriate max-min value so I fix those, and the warnings come from _T_* methods belonging to the compiler, so I refactor the code to remove the initial underscores. The last warning comes from an isolated And statement that's within brackets (compiler complains it doesn't do anything), but if I remove that the compiler fails hard.
Thanks to anyone who's read this far.  Please let me know if you have any ideas how to get my system to use a customized DSDT.

Thanks for the offer, Radioactive man However, I'm actually compiling a customized kernel with the linux-ck and -sony patches, so your packages won't help. (The custom kernel works fine and I've tested this battery behavior on the the regular, -ck, and -sony kernels as well)
Anyway, so I tried another compile with
CONFIG_PREVENT_FIRMWARE_BUILD=n in addition to the options listed in [1] and that time it compiled.
Unfortunately it still didn't load the DSDT!
    I did catch a quick little error message that turned up in kernel.log though;
/var/log/kernel.log:Sep 15 11:50:24 localhost kernel: [    0.925780] acerhdf: unknown (unsupported) BIOS version Sony Corporation/VGN-FZ4000E/R2110J7, please report, aborting!
acerhdf is a fan controller module for the Aspire One, and perhaps I left that in the kernel config and it's preventing the custom DSDT from loading, even though the acerhdf module never gets loaded itself, nor is it in my rc.conf or anything else... If that was the cause of all this, I'm gonna be angry...
Anyway, this message does not appear with my latest kernel build because I took off the custom DSDT option, hoping to be able to use ACPI_CUSTOM_METHOD=y, which supposedly allows one to inject a custom AML method into a debug fs. It wouldn't have worked anyway, as it doesn't let you modify Device sections, but even with a dummy method insertion it didn't give my root modification privileges as it was supposed to...
Will try recompiling AGAIN with this CONFIG_ACERHDF=n (it's simply 'not set' in my current .config), while also enabling the custom kernel etc. If this doesn't work I have no idea what I'll do.
Anyway, thanks for your help and time:

  • Replicating data once again to CRM after initial load fails for few records

My question (to put it simply):
We performed an initial load for customers and some records error out in CRM due to invalid data in R/3. How do we get the data into CRM after fixing the errors in R/3?
    Detailed information:
This is a follow up question to the one posted here.
Can we turn off email validation during BP replication ?
We are doing an initial load of customers from R/3 to CRM, and those customers with invalid email address in R/3 error out and show up in SMW01 as having an invalid email address.
If we decide to fix the email address errors on R/3, these customers should then be replicated to CRM automatically, right? (since the deltas for customers are already active) The delta replication takes place, but, then we get this error message "Business Partner with GUID 'XXXX...' does not exist".
We ran the program ZREPAIR_CRMKUNNR provided by SAP to clear out any inconsistent data in the intermediate tables CRMKUNNR and CRM_BUT_CUSTNO, and then tried the delta load again. It still didn't seem to go through.
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance.
    Max

    Subramaniyan/Frederic,
We already performed an initial load of customers from R/3 to CRM. We had 30,330 records in R/3 and 30,300 of them have come over to CRM in the initial load. The remaining 30 show BDOC errors due to invalid email address.
I checked the delta load (R3AC4) and it is active for customers. Any changes I make for customers already in CRM come through successfully.  When I make changes to customers with an invalid email address, the delta gets triggered and data come through to CRM, and I get the BDOC error "BP with GUID XXX... does not exist"
When I do a request load for that specific customer, it stays in "Wait" state forever in "Monitor Requests"
No, the DIMA did not help Frederic. I did follow the same steps you had mentioned in the other thread, but it just doesn't seem to run. I am going to open an OSS message with SAP for it. I'll update the other thread.
    Thanks,
    Max

  • Initial Load of customers stopped

    Hello,
I started download of customer_main in CRM 4.0 and as a sales group couldn´t be found (which is also deleted in R3, but still to find in customer masters; also R3 gives an error if you go into VD02 because of this) an BDOC was generated, what is quite ok.
BUT - the problem is that the initial load was stopped completely.
In Rel. 3.0 we got also BDoc for errors BUT the download always finished. So afterwards errors were cleaned up.
Has somebody an idea whether this is normal behaviour in Rel.4.0 or what I can maybe do that download runs further after stop?
I´d be happy if I´d get some hints.
    Kind regards
    Christina

    Hello,
it´s difficult to filter out customers as I don´t know upfront which one run into error, as I don´t know which sales group, offices have been deleted in R3 and are still existing in customer master.
We found note 823594 and it seems that with this the check of sales group+offices is simply ignored, what means the initial load will run through smoothly.
Problem can be that you get no BDOC anymore if a saes group is missing and then inconsistency of systems increase.
    The error message was
"CRM_BUPA_MAPPING_30110 - No CRM sales office can be determined fr R3 sales group THS".
So the error shows what to do basically. But why the whole download is stopping is not clear.
If someboy knows about please reply on this.
    Kind regards
    Christina

  • Initial Load of BUPA_MAIN  to GWA_01 does not work

    Hi all
I have a question concerning the serverside groupware Integration and the initial Load of BUPA_MAIN.
According to the groupware integration guide, I have to "Transfer Business Partner to Public Contact Directory".
This is done with transaction R3AS (Object BUPA_Main, Sender=CRM, Receiver=GWA_01 (the mBDOC site)).
When I want to chose the above options in R3AS I cannot select GWA_01 as receiver site (only CRM or OLTP is offered when I click F4). That means when I chose BUPA_MAIN as object I cannot chose GWA_01 as receiver site (fbut or other objects f.ex. GWA_* I can chose GWA_01 as receiver site).
I created all subsriptions needed (I had to recreate the publication "ALL Business Partners (MESG)" because it was missing in my system).
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance and Regards

Maped Activity Text Types and Business Partners to Groupware
All the above steps from 11 to 13,all the default entries were reentered starting with Z,is this ok.
Please let me now whether the above steps on customizing the Groupware Adapter which i followed are enough or i need to do any additional customization.
As we are using two sites, let me know how can i define RFC Destination for the MapBox.
How I can check whether ABAP MAPBOX is having the RFC Connection and it is activated.

  • ABAP - CUA : Initial load : too many records in the CUA?

    We are running :
SP03 for IDENT. CENTER DESIGNTIME 7.1 Patch 0
SP03 for IDENTITY CENTER RUNTIME 7.1 Patch 1
SP03 for NW IDM IC UIS 7.00 Patch 1
We have connected our customer's CUA system to IdM : we created an Identity Store called 'SAP_Master', created the CUA repository, defined the required attributes as defined in the guide 'IDM 7.1 - IdM For SAP Systems - Configuration 7-3.pdf', created the jobs based upon the templates etc. The dispatcher used has 'run provisioning jobs' disabled.
On our sandbox server, when we connect to our sandbox CUA system (CUA_YS5_200), everything is ok, the 'AS ABAP - Initial load' job with only 'ReadABAPRoles' enabled, runs fine.
On our QA system, when we connect to our 'production' CUA system (CUA_YP0_400), the 'AS ABAP - Initial load' job with
only 'ReadABAPRoles' enabled, finished with message 'could not start job, rescheduling'. Since there is a huge number of records (we looked it up in the system : 311.679 records), we decided to switch on parameter 'bootstrap job'. Now the result is that it takes forever, after half a day the job is still running. In the database, table 'sapCUA_YP0_400role' is still completely empty (no records). Therefore, it seemed interesting to connect our QA IdM system to our development CUA system (CUA_YS5_200). After a while, the exact same job has finished and table 'sapCUA_YS5_200role' contains 18.580 records.
After some additional testing, we might have discoved the cause of the issue could be that the number of records in our CUA is too big.
In the java code of the fromSAP pass there are 2 calls to the SAP system for reading the roles into Idm. The first one reads table USRSYSACT (311.000 records), the second one reads table USRSYSACTT (1.000.000 records). All these records are stored into a java hashmap - we think that 1 million records exceeds the hashmaps capability, although no java error is thrown.
When we debug the functionmodule RFC_READ_TABLE and change the rowcount to 100.000 then everything works fine. When we set the rowcount to 200.000 the java-code does not generate an error but the job in idm never
    ends...
When running functionmodule RFC_READ_TABLE in the backend system the 1.000.000 records are processed in less than one minute. So apparently, the issue is related to the processing in the Java code.
Java Dispatcher heap size is set to 1024.
Anybody already came accros this issue?
    Thanks & best regards,
    Kevin

Installing the patch, re- importing the SAP Provisioning framework (I selected 'update') and recreating the jobs didn't yield any result.
When examining pass 'ReadABAPRoles' of Job 'AS ABAP - Initial Load' -> tab 'source', there are no scripts used .
After applying the patch we decided anyway to verify the scripts (sap_getRoles, sap_getUserRepositories) in our Identity Center after those of 'Note 1398312 - SAP NW IdM Provisioning Framework for SAP Systems' , and they are different
File size of SAP Provisioning Framework_Folder.mcc of SP3 Patch 0 and Patch 1 are also exactly the same.
Opening file SAP Provisioning Framework_Folder.mcc with Wordpad : searched for 'sap_getRoles'  :

So I assume the updates mentioned in Note 1398312 aren't included in SP3 Patch 1. Manually replaced the current scripts with those of the note and re- tested : no luck. Same issue.
    Thanks again for the help,
    Kevin

  • Middleware initial load error on funcloc segment type (ADR2) does not exist

    Hello,
We are doing initial loads of data into a new CRM 7.0 system.
So far all objects have been done except Functional locations (FUNCLOC).
During the initial load of the functional locations the various BDOCs all go into error state.
The error is the same everywhere: segment type adr2 does not exist.
If we deactivate the adr2 table In transaction R3AC1 and process again, we get the error message for the next table
(Like:  segment type IFLOTX does not exist) and so on.
IS there any settings we can do to manage these 'segments' or would there be another wa to solve this?
    Thanks.
    Joram

    Hello,
Take a look at note 1271465, it does not talk about the ADR2 segment but about segment errors in SMW01 for functional location download. It might be useful. Observe especially the constraint in ERP version number, it might be that your ERP system is out-of-date/incompatible for this scenario.
Second thing to check, go to SPRO>CRM>Master Data>Installed Base>Replication of technical objects from ERP
There you'll find a mandatory customizing activity for Functional location download.
And in the documentation of activity "Replication of Functional locations: Prerequisites and General information" you'll find all the necessairy actions to perform.
This helped me in setting up funcloc replication in CRM 7.0.
    Hope this helps,
    Kind regards,
    Joost
