Custom event not traced in the SWEL transaction

Hi Experts,
In my development server I have created a custom BOR ZBUS2078 with few custom events and delegate it to the standard BOR BUS2078.
I have moved the same to quality. But i could not find the trace for the custom events of ZBUS2078 unlike the standard events of BUS2078 in the SWEL transaction .
However those custom events are getting triggered in my development server.
I have checked the delegation and the custom BOR in the quality and they are same as in development server
Object type : BUS2078
Delegation type : ZBUS2078
What could be the problem and how to resolve it?
Please provide your valuable solution and suggestions.

Issue resolved. I have maintained those custom events in SWEC in quality server.

The messages are getting to the recipient...
I am on a Comcast IMAP server if this has anything to do with it and the server settings are following the correct server port numbers, SSL settings, etc... I save Sent messages on the IMAP server for 90 days.... None of these "disappearing" messages were on the server for more than a couple of days.. Typically, these messages will get 'hung' in the Outgoing Mailbox for @30 seconds before sending... like they are being scanned for viruses or Mail can't connect to the server all of a sudden...
I anybody else here is on a Comcast IMAP server, and having this problem of disappearing Sent messages... This would tell us that it might be a Mail Provider issue with their outgoing server...

Delegated Object's event not appearing in the "start event" tab

Hi,
I have created a object type say Y00Mara( copy of BUS1001) ....then created a subtype from it ...called Ymara00.
then I created a deleegation ...if I test the supertype i can now see the new objects/attributes etc...
I also added one event "old_material_changed" in the subtype and changed the status on both the subtype and delegted obj to "implemented".
when i am trying to use this delegated obj in the "start event" tab of a WF ...the new event "old_material_changed" is not appearing...
what maay be thhe reason

Please maintain the delegation with the subtype ( Y00Mara) and supertype ( BUS1001 ) by using transaction SWE_SET_DELEGATION. Now run the above transaction.
Click on new entres.
Enter the follwoing values...
Object type : BUS1001
Person responsible : your sap user id
Delegation type : Y00Mara
Save it.
Now whenever you use BUS1001, all the custom mentod, events will be available there.

Interactive Form for HCM Processes & Forms: Custom Event not firing ?

I am currently developing several Adobe interactive forms as part of an HCM Processes and Forms process. I have started to try to utilize custom form events. Following the documentation, I defined a custom event on the backend...lets say "USER_EVENT_S1". I assigned it a field group of fields and gave it the operation for "check". On the form side, I defined a pushbutton and changed it's "mousedown" FormCalc code to:

I then activated the form and went to test it. When clicking the button tied to this event, it does absolutly nothing. I have external breakpoints set on the backend to my custom service that should fire for those fields that are part of the field group. The breakpoints trigger correctly as the form itself loads and hits the "initialize" and "F4 value help" methods. However, it is not doing anything when I press the assigned button to trigger my own user event.
Any help ?!?!? I see only one implementation from SAP in their standard content and their own user event is not even implemented in the form! (form scenario S_HRPA_DE_REHIRE_1). That's not very reassuring or helpful. haha

I figured it out this morning. It seems I was using the wrong (older?) button control.
The one that did NOT work had the following for the "click" event....

However, the one that DOES work has this:

ContainerFoundation_JS.SendMessageToContainer(event.target, "submit", "", "", "", "");
Both are called an "ISR_FormEventButton" however, I guess mine was from an older "library". Anyways...works great now! Back to development....

Why are all-day calendar events not appearing in the Notification Center?

I've noticed that all-day Calendar events do not appear in the Notfication Center in iOS. This is a glaring omission and I'm not sure if it's related to a bug or is intentional but it should be fixed right away. Why in the world would you leave out an all-day event from the Notification Center? What if I had a wedding anniversary or some other important event to remember?

IOS / is no out for a couple of weeks and Apple seems to be reluctant to fix this problem. As a business device it becomes rediculous to be not able to see my calender entries anymore in the notification center. Is Apple now leaving the business arena and focusing on toys ?

PS 2013 - Changing the formula in custom field not reflected in the report columns

The company where I work have a Sharepoint environment / EPM 2013 with about seven hundred registered projects.
We have a customer demand where it is necessary to change the formula of one of the custom fields of the environment. This field is used in some management reports made in Reporting Services and accessed by the entire board. The report uses as a source
'MSP_EpmProject_UserView' view.
The change in formula was simple, but we found that the change will not be reflected in the reports when the user saves the project in Sharepoint or publish the schedule associated with the Project.
I believe this is the expected behavior of the EPM, but I wonder if there is some other way than through the PSI, to publish all environmental projects.

That is expected, it will not update until the project is open and republished. No automatic way to do this without automating project pro. Publishing all projects via the PSI wont cause the plan to recalculate, the plans will need to be opened.

h:CommandLink : Action event not called on the first click

Hi,
I am facing a problem here.
I have a JSF page:
When I first load the page, I have few text boxes and dropdowns. With out doing anything If I click the <h:commandLink I call an action in my pagecode.
But the problem is on the very first load of the page, without doing anything if I click on the command link action event in my pagecode is not called, but If I click on the link the second timethe pagecode actionevent is called.
So I think tried submitting the form in the JSF page onclik of the commandlink it works in my Local IBM RAD. But doesnot work in the WebSphere Portal.
So can you tell me if I can submit the form atleast once when the page loads for the first time

seems that a prependID="false" attribute in the respective form was causing the trouble. At least it's working now that I've deleted it.
I introduced it, because last time the component ID's messed up the output of the error/success messages ("j_id:xxx isn't that of a usefull information to the enduser).

Formula Row/Col Custom Heading not appearing on the Grid Cell in FR Studio

I'm building reports using Financial Reporting Studio Software.
When i insert the formula row/column and give a custon heading, it is not reflecting on the GRID. The cell still shows blank.
What should i do ? is this a bug?

Which version of EPM you have is it 11.1.2 or 11.1.2.1 don't see fR studio > about it will show 11.1.2 if it is 11.1.2.1 then try 11.1.2.1.128 patch.
because there is bug 14617522 - CUSTOM HEADINGS FOR THE ROWS BELOW THE TEMPLATE DISAPPEARS
Infact try with latest 11.1.2.1 patch that is 133.

Custom Events are repeating with the standard events

Hello All,
I am facing a problem with the customization of standard OA Page.
We have modified the page by adding a new custom region with three buttons in it. We have also developed a controller for that region to handle the events. when a button is clicked, a new page opens up in a new window.
I have observed that the custom controller is called when any event occurs in the page irrespective of the region.
Now the actual problem is whenever any of the custom buttons are clicked, according to the requirement the new window opens up. But if we perform any other standard events in the page like clicking a standard LOV immediately after performing the custom event, then that most recent custom event is repeating with that standard event.
how to prevent this repetetion of custom event with standard event?
please help me solve this problem..

Custom Components not Visible in the Flex Design

    I am trying to create a Flex Application to consume a Web service.
     Which DataGrid can i use to get the list of data at runtime.
     The Datagrid component which is available under Controls in the design is displaying 3 columns and 3 rows by default. But if i use this UI element no.rows and coulmns cannot be changed at runtime.
So could anybody advice me which datagrid can be used?
By defalult Flex design has Controls, Layout, Navigators, Charts components
Could anybody tell me whats Custom Component in the design. becoz i cannot see any of the components under Custom folder.
Is it a custom developed one or is it a Default like other components ?
How do I get these components Customer DataGrid, Video Chat, Yahoo Search, Countries By Group etc.
Please guide me...

I too struggled a lot to find the solution ....atlast got it....It possible by exporting and importing the table control values to Database Index.
1. AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT event triggers when you SAVE and GET the variant.

In the above logic if OK_CODE is 'SPOS', that is for saving the variant with the name <lfs_vari>.
Similarly if the OK_CODE is other than, 'GET'....that is for retrieving the variant. But in case of getting the variant OK_CODE is not filled with 'GET', but variant will be filled. We should take variant filling as base and do as done above.

Custom fields not visible in the Active Subject Area column

I have created several custom fields in the Object Service Request. I need to create a report with those fields, but some of them are not visible / displayed.
Is there any delay between the custom field creation and its availability in Oracle Answer? Because, only the "old" custom fields appears in the list.

Repeated events not showing on the correct dates.

In 2009 I set a number of events to reoccur yearly. This year I have found that every event is a day out. This means I have to manually go through each one and correct it. Why is iCal doing this. Surely it should match the date for the following year/s.
Is this a bug or something i'm doing correctly?

1. Quit iCal, and open System Preferences...>Language & Text>Formats>Region> and select/reselect your appropriate region. You can also try setting/resetting the various options available in the "Dates" section of that panel.
2. If you updated to Mac OS X 10.6.2 with Software Update, try using the Mac OS X v10.6.2 Update (Combo).

My workflow is not listed in the GOS (Services for object)

Hello Experts,
I developed a workflow and linked the BO ZBUS2081. This is sub type of standard BO BUS2081. I am using the custom event INVOICEBLOCKED to trigger the workflow. The workflow is triggered propely when the invoce is created (with block) thru MIRO and I can see the workflow in SWEL or SWI6 or SWI14.
But, the workflow is not listed in the services for objects button of the invoice display using MIR4.
If I use the standard event 'BLOCKEDQUANT' as starting event, the workflow is triggered and I can view it in services for object.
In the table SWW_WI2OBJ has all entries about the workflow triggered using standard event or custom event.
How can I make the services for object in invoice list my workflow that was triggered using custom evet?

Mac OS / classpath / custom event problem

I'm having a bit of trouble with a particular classpath
anomaly, and I have a feeling that it might be a Mac thing.
Not sure if anyone else can reproduce this, but I managed to
make a custom event and a class that extends the EventDispatcher
once. Since then, Flash has refused to admit that any class
associated with a custom event exists - mostly producing the error
1046. Even after you take out any references to the event
dispatcher or a custom event, the class is ignored.
All my classes are kept in a single 'Packages' folder with
sub folders that I include in the import statement (I've
triple-checked the classpath settings, the import statements, and
the classes themselves - I have probably a hundred or so other
classes that are fine, and all referenced in the same way, some
that extend EventDispatcher, some that don't.
I come across this a few times now - once I was able to fix
it by putting the .as file in the same folder as my first custom
event, but this no longer works.
I'm running Mac OS X 4.11 on two computers - both have the
same trouble.
I've tried copying the classes to other folders and changing
the package/import path accordingly - no go.
Even stranger, if you copy and paste to a new .as file, and a
different package folder, the problem persists in that Flash claims
the revised Package statement (to reflect the new location) does
not reflect the position of the file - when it clearly does.
I haven't had this problem with any other home-grown class -
only those that reference a custom event.
It sounds like it should be pilot error, and I've spent a
long time trying to spot a silly mistake. But as this problem has
recurred a few times now, I'm beginning to think it isn't me.
Anybody else experience similar classpath problems with AS3
on a Mac? Anybody have any suggestions?

I am also a newbie and my answer could be wrong.
But from the looks of it, You are Unable to load performance pack.
The solution is "Please ensure that libmuxer library is in :'.:/Library/Java/Extensions:/System/Library/Java/Extensions:/usr/lib/java
I hope BEA or someone can tell you the file name of libmuxer. And make sure it is in the Folder where the script is searching/looking.
